Opiniones de Fatto a Mano Redondo Beach
I had an amazing experience at Fatto a la Mano! The food was absolutely delicious you can really taste the freshness and authenticity in every bite. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauces were rich and flavorful, and everything felt truly homemade. The staff was warm, friendly, and attentive, making the whole dining experience even better. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a date night or a nice dinner with family. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves great Italian food! The owners gave us complimentary hot chocolate
Such a great time!! If you want authentic Italian food made with care and expertise this is the place for you. What it’s not is homogenous Americanized corporate restaurant food that is one step above McDonald’s. But at McDonald’s you know what you’re going for and your not fooling yourself in to thinking your eating fine Italian fair. First thing that you get is asked your name. But not so they can give you the food when it’s done but so they can make the experience more welcoming and warm. There is a genuine desire to make the experience pleasant. Next my wife ordered a sauce that is a bit more adventurous because it is seafood based. They warn you and explain what you’ll get. When it came out it was amazing. Litteralky the best seafood based sauce I’ve had. I ordered the bolognese. It was perfect. The fusilli was cooked perfectly. The portions were just what you would want to eat for diner not over loaded. We also got the focaccia bread and it was not drown in oil. It was crispy and warm with amazing soft olive oil middle. Loved that bread. Over all this was a great experience. One negative which actually made it more cozy and friendly was the limited seating. If your not in to closeness and not a friendly person order to go.
Such a relaxed atmosphere to savor delicious housemade pasta and pizza. Arlene and Marco, who run the place, are genuinely kind folks who made us feel welcomed, as soon as we got seated at our table. We saw and heard how they, and their staff, welcomed each guest who walked in to dine or pick up their takeout, with enthusiastic hellos even from the back of the kitchen. Once in a while, Marco burst into song. It’s tough to pick a favorite but their pesto was just sumptuous! Definitely try a pasta and a pizza, at least. And don’t forget to try their dessert: the almond and walnut ciambella was surprising with just the right amount of sweetness, their lemon sorbet was the perfect end to an unforgettable meal. Bravo Fatto a Mano!
Amazing!!! Only been once so far and it has me wanting to go back. Fresh pasta and amazing crispy pizzas. The workers were great and very energetic. Looking forward to my next experience.
Best pasta in LA and Southern California. Yeah they’re other restaurants I like as well, but Marco the head chef is truly skillful when it comes to cooking. He works really hard to make art and art in your mouth. A true Italian experience in Redondo Beach. The crowd of customers that come here are genuinely good human beings. Marco and his wife Arlene makes the magic happen. Gnocchi time with the pesto.
Genuinely the most lovely dining experience we have ever had! Not only was the food absolutely amazing, the owners Marco and Arlene were the most kind and generous hosts. They learned our names, chatted with us, surprised us with a complimentary dessert for our anniversary celebration and we left with full bellies and happy hearts! Everything was delicious, by and far the best Italian we have eaten. You can’t go wrong with any dish! We tried the new summer salad (so flavorful and fresh!) lasagna bolognese, pesto fusilli, cacio de Pepe spaghetti, buffalo margherita pizza, and tagliolini and almond cake. We went for an early dinner (4pm) and were able to snag one of the 3 tables and only waited 15-20 min for the food to start coming out. Highly recommend, we can’t wait to go back!!
Found this spot randomly on the way to the gym. Big fan of Italian, so definitely had to try it. Especially since their name means “Handmade” so you know a lot of care goes into the pasta. Had the Caesar Salad, their Buffalo Caprese Salad, the Cacio e Pepe, and the papparadelle and Amatricana sauce. Very very good. Portions are great. It is a little on the pricier side but the quality is excellent. The interior is very small so get there early to make sure you get a seat.
The easiest review I've ever done. ALL 5 STARS! This nook of an Italian kitchen, hardly showcases it's value through photos or reviews. The energy is marvelous. From the start Arlene helped us understand the food and ordering as Marco toss flames of Italian fragrances throughout the restaurant. Not many table, we lucked out though. Got in right before ethe rush. Trust me, that rush is no joke. They cook everything with such great love of the role. Which is where their customer service shines. Marco shouted everyone's name who walked through the door and greeted them as he came from the kitchen. What? That is amazing and I love it. Arlene knew our names before we knew hers. I must say, it's refreshing to see people work and enjoy the community. Okay, the quality of the food. 5 STARS to me on the past and for sure Pesto Pizza. The Salad was my only if, because e of the amount of oil that it came with was a bit mushy for my taste and salty. I didn't like the spinach salad, but all the other things had me clapping alone in my head. Desserts are amazing especially the orange walnut ciambella Look, the prices validate the quality of Pasta and Pizza you'll have. You are getting the VERY BEST customer service in LA. Hmm, yeah don't pass this place up.
Finally had the chance to try this place. They serve fresh, handmade pasta, and oh my goodness, it’s amazing! We ordered the Buffalo Mozzarella Pizza, Cacio e Pepe Spaghetti, Bolognese Sauce with Pappardelle, and Fregula with King Prawns and Stracciatella Cheese. We arrived right at opening, so the wait wasn’t too bad, but the entire experience took about 1.5 hours. We waited almost 45 minutes to get our food, and there were four plate changes for the different types of pasta and pizza we ordered. The food was incredible, and it truly satisfied my pasta craving. The owners were also very friendly, which made the whole experience even better.
Pasta had a really good bite to it. Pizza was so fluffy. We loved eating here. Waiting time is long, though. Nonetheless, we enjoyed eating here. There's also free ice cream and a shot of coffee in the end.
The best pasta and pizza around l.a o California good service marco the chef very nice person and arlene very good hostess and waitress everything so good and fresh you can feel thanks we'll be back soon
The very special lady in my life recently introduced me to Arlene and Marcos’ Fatto a Mano and I simply can not be appreciative enough. One, for her sharing a favorite place of hers with me, and two, introducing me to what will absolutely be a favorite place of mine! Arlene and Marco immediately greeted us super warmly and quickly broke into a delicious description of the servings they offer. We decided on the Margherita pizza slice, an order of the Spaghetti in Carbonara Sauce, and a new style of pasta for me despite my New York upbringing surrounded by enormous Italian cuisine, Paccheri in a Cacio e Pepe sauce. As you can see in our photos and the many others already shared by their legions of fans, everything was absolutely delicious and we loved every single bite! I can’t wait to share this experience again with my Beautiful foodie! Thank you Babe for sharing and thank you Arlene and Marco, we’ll see you again soon! S & K.
If you want to know what pasta should taste like, go to Fato a Mano. My daughter said it best on her first visit: “This is what pasta should taste like.” We’ve been coming here for years, and that still sums it up perfectly. Every plate is fresh, handmade, and unforgettable. You can taste the care in the dough, the balance in the sauces, and the love in the recipes. Arlene and Marco have created something rare—a place where the food is consistently outstanding, and the hospitality makes you feel like family. It’s not just food, it’s the kind of meal that ruins you for average pasta anywhere else.
Our first time at Fatto a Mano and we will be back! Marco, the owner, greeted us as soon as we walked in and helped pick the perfect homemade pastas to match our chosen homemade sauces. Both sauces were delicious and the pastas were fresh. We also tried a slice of the Margherita pizza and it was light, fluffy, and so tasty. The pasta shop is small with only a couple of tables, but the food was amazing and Marco’s hospitality was even better!
Absolutely fantastic pasta dishes and great salad! Everything is made from scratch with love. Mario's pasta is better than most of the restaurants that I have eaten at in Italy, and I have been to Italy 6 times! We have ordered pasta there multiple times, and it is delicious every time. Plus, Mario and his wife are super friendly! Fatto A Mano is a real gem!
Marco is the man! He was such a warm and sweet soul to speak too while in his restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious. My group ordered four dishes and each was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place if you want a slice of Italy. Don’t forget the hot chocolate on your way out. Marco, I want to personally thank you for being such an amazing host to myself and my group. We will be back soon and bring even more family.

The food, Italian hot chocolate, espresso, and lemon cake were out of this world. The moment you walk in the welcomes are warm, and unbelievably kind. It's like walking into an Italian grandma's kitchen. You are treated with the highest respect and feel like your apart of their family. I HIGHLY recommend everything about this place. My husband are already looking forward to next visit and we just left. TOTALLY worth the 45 min drive. We will definitely be back.
My boyfriend and I online ordered a pasta bolognese and Buffalo Margherita pizza late on a Sunday, intending to eat it at home. When we arrived, Arlene met us at the counter and was very welcoming and helpful with teaching us how to properly dress the pizza with the mozzarella. She also insisted we try the bolognese fresh before leaving, and since they had open seating we ended up dining in! The experience we had with Arlene and Marco was unmatched. From the amazing crispy pizza (put together by Marco, who did a much more incredible job than I could’ve at home), the delicious bolognese, and the fascinating stories about Marco’s travels, I am so grateful we decided to stay and dine in. You really are treated like family by Arlene and Marco, and their rich hot chocolate (which they gave us free samples of!) was awesome. We cannot wait to come back soon and try the pesto!
Can this place be any better? The food is amazing. You can taste the love in it. They care so much about the quality of what they make. I've never experienced this level of service, attentiveness, and true kindness from a restaurant. When you love what you make, which these guys obviously do, the results are spectacular.
I could write an essay about how amazing this place is. The owners, Marco and Arlene, are the most hospitable and sweet restaurant owners I’ve ever met. They asked for me and my family’s names when we ordered and referred to us by our first names throughout our meal. You can tell they aren’t just being nice to be nice, they genuinely want to build relationships with their customers. They wanted to make sure we enjoyed our experience, and just because of that, we did. Don’t even get me started on the food. Totally homemade in house, I mean, that’s incredible, and you can TOTALLY taste it! We got the lasagna, some pizza, pasta and WOWOWOW!!!! The flavor was insane and the portions were perfect. To make it even better, we all got a little cup of free homemade italian hot chocolate as well … way better than any american hot chocolate I’ve ever had. I will most definitely be back and can’t wait to see the owners again. It’s these restaurants that deserve all the support in the world. Marco and Arlene, my family and I already love you! God bless you guys and this place!
This is an immaculate restaurant. Italian meals that are better than the best in Italy itself. Marco is a cheerful host. We keep coming back trying different dishes each time. All are heavenly.
best italian food i’ve ever had in america. impeccable service. staff were friendly. vibes immaculate. i highly recommend if you really want authentic italian food. everything was made fresh! i will definitely be coming back.

The parking is normally easy. There is very little seating, but you can get it to-go. Call your order ahead or expect to wait a very long time. The menu rotates frequently, so the menu pictured may not be relevant. The shop is managed by the wife while the husband cooks; there's only two people working. The wife is incredibly friendly and sweet. They gave us some free cake and coffee after the meal. I don't like coffee and the cake was a little dry, but the gesture was nice. As there is only enough space for like 4 groups, the wife chatted to all the customers in a very friendly. I'm not a fan of Italian food, but I came because my wife wanted to. The lasagna I got was okay. They all kind of taste the same to me, and it tastes like the frozen ones I've had, which I know will be blasphemy to many. The portion was okay at about $23. The cacio e pepe was very unique: the pasta was al dented, the cheese flavor was intense, sharp, and salty, and the black pepper was pronounced with large shards on top. My wife said it was about a 7/10. The portion wasn't huge, but the price was okay at $20. The pizza was basically bread with tomato sauce. The bread wasn't bad and the tomato sauce was fresh, but there was a bit too much olive oil and there wasn't any salt. It was about $13; not bad. Overall, I've had the best service of any restaurant here, but I didn't find some of the foods enjoyable, but that's probably just personal taste. They did have some seafood thing I was curious about, but overall I will probably continue looking elsewhere for something I like.
