My lady and I swung by Tokyo Asia Fusion Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar for their half price sushi Wednesday and we were impressed! We ordered 3 sushi rolls...from left to right: Mexican Roll, Crazy Tokyo Roll and Out of Control Roll. All three were phenomenal. The Mexican Roll was fried to perfection with some good spiciness. The Crazy Tokyo Roll had tons of flavors that blended very well. And finally the Out Of Control Roll was incredible with a little kick of flavor mixed with some sweet ess from a little bit of mango. It was so good! We also tried the new Orange Beef with fried rice. The beef has a delicious, crunchy batter on it and tons of flavor from the orange sauce and came out super hot n crispy. The rice was really good. All that was $45 before tip. Tons of food and had a bunch to take home. My lady thought the sushi was actually better today! Our server Kelvin was kind and attentive and checked on us regularly and brought the bill without asking. He was very polite and knew his stuff. Will be coming back for this special for sure and if we get Kelvin again that would be great.

Just had the most amazing hibachi at Tokyo Asia Fusion in Abilene! The chicken was tender and flavorful, the veggies were perfectly cooked, and the fried rice was spot on. The flavors were incredible, and the portion size was generous. Highly recommend for a delicious and satisfying meal!

Pleasant experience! Food was delicious, portions were great. Took a family of 6 and spent 180$ gratuity of 18% was included. We had hibachi- the chef was kind but lacked social skills. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the front desk people. Atmosphere was very nice and pleasant music plays. We were seated and given a menu. Our hostess Ulan answered some questions we had and we decided to go with some sushi rolls. Ulan was very sweet and funny. If you get her, you will be very happy with your service. She was very attentive the entire time we were there. The spicy tuna was delicious but very spicy. The one I definitely recommend is the super rainbow roll. Great flavor and a generous amount for the price. We ended up splitting a slice of cheese cake. We figured it would probably be store bought but we must have been wrong. It tasted home made with a great crust flavor. Overall we will definitely be back. I think we finally found our go-to Asian restaurant.

My husband and I love coming here I'm always tasting a different sushi roll, you can never go wrong with any choice here, very big selection and variety and I love how kind the employees are ☺️ Always a smile to greet you and they always know how to keep things exciting, they also have beautiful koi fish inside and birds outside ❤️

Eating dinner on a Friday night. Chris was a great server, very pleasant and attentive. Other staff periodically would check on us as well, while helping make space on the table by clearing dishes. I would recommend this place to anyone! My husband and I decided to come here after he got off of work, right when you walk in the atmosphere and our waiter were SO welcoming. Not to mention it’s not a long wait at all, the food is PHENOMENAL! The staff were quick, they constantly refilled drinks and asked if you needed anything and the bartender, so kind and made sure everyone had what they needed while also working behind the bar! The Teppanyaki chef was so funny, welcoming, a real people person! and he made the food just so perfect. The fried rice was wonderful, our crab ragoons were the best we have ever had and our steak, a perfect medium rare. We had 1 alcoholic beverage each and they were wonderful. 10 out of 10 if I could give it more than 10 stars I would. If you’re debating on which hibachi style restaurant to go to, this is the one!

I had the hibachi steak. Husband had the hibachi steak and chicken. We came at 12:00 on a Saturday so obviously we got the lunch portions. SO MUCH FOOD. I couldn't believe the large amount of food we got compared to the price we paid. The food was delicious and we both had to get to go boxes. The best thing about this restaurant though, is the staff. They are all incredibly friendly. Everyone greets you when they see you, everyone smiles, and you feel genuinely invited into the restaurant. We also had multiple people servers come to take care of everyone at our grill so we never had to ask or wait for refills. I would say this restaurant has the best wait staff I've ever experienced. It was also very clean and looked well decorated and taken care of. Without a doubt, this our new go to for date night!

We’ve eaten at another sushi place in Abilene and the food was good but the service was awful…this place we came in on a busy Friday night and they said 15 min wait when there was probably 10 people in the lobby and I thought they were lying and sure enough it was a 13 min wait and I had my drink within 3 mins of being seated and our appetizer shortly after and the food was AMAZING. So fresh and delicious and the service is top tier. We had 2-3 people grabbing dishes and checking on our table all night and never once had to flag anyone down. We will absolutely be back!

I am allergic to beef and they went above and beyond providing me with the best tasting food and bringing me an extra special treat with a spicy chili oil to flavor my food with since I cannot have teriyaki sauce. This may be my new favorite restaurant. Even the complimentary soup was great and I usually don't care for miso. I tasted so real and great. I had the tiger roll as well as some unagi sashimi and finished with the fried cheesecake. The unagi was cooked really well and seasoned very well with the sauce. The tiger roll though, omg, it was a great umami combination with some mild flavors that really drove by mouth to flavor town. It was mouthwateringly delicious. I'll dream of that roll. The fried cheesecake was also surprisingly good. It didn't taste like some industrially bought dessert like some restaurants do, it tasted like they made it themselves and with passion. I didn't even take them up on the discount at the restaurant, it was THAT good. My only problem is that it's not closer to my house, but I guess that's also a benefit to my wallet. I'd give them 20 stars if I could.

Found this place by happenstance while in Abilene and loved it! Ask for our server, Walter. He was great. Had calamari appetizer. Sauce was great, they had bredding and flavor spot on...little chewy. Thankfully the server knew and I could have stuff removed. Oh no idea what that mushroom broth stuff was, but it was nasty.

First time going and it was kind of a flop. Started out good, everyone was nice, atmosphere was a little weird but ok, and food was good. Only thing that made us mad Is they didn't tell us or post anywhere that they would be giving you to go boxes and telling you you had to leave right at 930. They welcomed us in and took our money but didn't even allow us to finish our food. So I would say if you want to enjoy your food and possibly your company don't go in after 830pm. The owners need to post that too.

Tokyo Asia Fusion was a decent experience for us. Some cons was that the table was still dirty, dirty utensils, and I had to grab my own soy sauce bowl. The sushi itself was good. We got the firecracker, tiger, crazy dog, and out of control roll. Firecracker was not really favorite, maybe because of the smokey texture but not a bad roll. Kalvin, I think that’s how you spell his name, has a great personality and brings a fun atmosphere. He wasn’t our server but he will make you feel important no matter what. I think he is also still trying to learn English, no matter, he is a cool dude. So if this place can clean up a bit more, with a little more attention to detail, I would eventually rate this place higher.

That was the worst hibachi that I've ever had. Rice and eggs were burned. The attentiveness of our servers was horrible.. I ordered fried ice cream and that wasn't good, my daughter didn't even eat it which was surprising. The stars are for the sushi rolls (super crunchy), that was delicious so.

I come to celebrate my birthday party in hibachi with my family and friends, we are 6 people, the food very good and the chef was friendly and nice, However, a male waiter shouted angrily at his colleague in front of many guests, and that disrupted our comfort. It's very unfortunate, and we hope they can improve the waiter's behavior.

I visited this restaurant few months back for dinner with family . Food tasted just Ok , nothing special. But I got indigestion after few hours. We were on a road trip and I had upset stomach for couple of days after. We ordered the bento boxes. I have had better bento boxes at other restaurants in Texas. Not sure about others, but I won’t visit this place again.
