Love the garlic pepper rice!! Super affordable

I love spending time with my cousin, @HelloXtine, eating and just enjoying each other's company. We went to @SizzlingLunch in it's newest location in the east bay, Berkley, CA. We started off corn cheese and the spicy crunch garlic chicken wings. Both were a great way to start the meal. I love corn cheese, it's creamy and corny, haha. The wings definetly had a strong kick and flavor. Luckily, we had the Calamansi and strawberry sugarcane drinks to wash it down with. The Strawberry flavor took away from the surgar cane, so I did not enjoy it as much. The garlic beef pepper rice is my favorite down here, always hits the spot for me. I love the sizzling hot plate that it's cooked on because the aroma is so fresh and yummy. My cousin got the Curry beef udon, which was also good. beef pepper rice beef udon both werre vary good esp with the corn. spicy miso was an extra bonus. the udons noodles do get a bit mushy as it cooks but still tasty nonetheless. good portions friendly staff

This place was absolutely amazing me and my fiancé both have guide dogs and we’re looking for a good place for lunch and we stumbled upon this gem. The best part of this place not only is the service amazing Ramen you are absolutely the reason we are going to come back to this establishment just absolutely made the experience Raymond personally took our order helped us figure out how to do everything and even made suggestions for how to cook the meal once it got to our table you want to talk about friendly towards disabled people I promise you the food is fantastic the services friendly the place is just beautifully clean modernized and gorgeous lighting thank you so much for making this experience so good Ramen we’ll see you again very soon anybody and everybody should support this business they have a little something for everyone and it is really good food.

I love sizzling lunch! The garlic pepper rice is my go-to, but their noodles and sides are yummy too. Service is quick and efficient also, and the server Kylie always greets you with a smile:)

I’ve enjoyed coming to Sizzling Lunch my entire time in college. It’s a fun experience and I enjoy the food as well. I find the prices to be steep and constantly increasing for food that isn’t actually cooked by anyone

I'm a huge fan of sizzling lunch! It's so good and comforting. So this location used to be on the other side of the campus, I like this location better -easier parking. The onion beef pepper rice is my favorite . If you like curry- the chicken katsu is delicious and the curry beef rice cheese are pretty good too.

Overall pretty solid. Food is really tasty and creative presentation. One complaint was the lump of butter they put on top. Definitely too fatty. Not sure if it’s on every dish but might be able to request without it. This new location could use some blinds…sun was setting and in everyone’s face in the evening.

Newer version of the older Sizzling place. I like it as it’s cleaner and brighter. The food came out as better presentation. The taste is still about the same - average.

I wanted a quick meal, so I ordered the Onion Beef Pepper Rice, which came with Green onions, corn, garlic butter, salt, pepper, and Fried Crispy Onion. The portion size was great, but the flavors felt a bit mild for me. I ended up adding the garlic shoyu and teriyaki sauces, though I could mostly taste the sweetness and saltiness. Overall, it was a mixed experience. But I'll definitely come back to try it again another time.

Don't come here. It's edible. But you know you have a problem if your sprinkles of corn are more flavorful than the curry udon. It's curry powder, which tints yellow but adds nothing to the flavor. They literally have a curry sauce, but that's for other meals. Also, I don't know what they're trying to be, but it's definitely one of those *new, clean* places that whitewash Asian/Asian American/Asian-ish dishes. They didn't even do it well... Some places are passable if that's their aesthetic, and their food is bomb. But this place... it's so white... the walls are white, it feels like im eating in a mental asylum for the white woman next door who you know practices overconsumption like spirituality. Also, it's a weird thing that their wooden-looking chairs are metal the tables dont match in that sense. There's no service other than when they bring out the meals, greet you, take the dishes back, etc. Everything is done through a QR code, AKA not accessible. There's an accessible entrance, however, so that's ok I guess. So you can go here if you want. But why would you?
