I went to this location as I heard great things about it on a food review couple on Instagram, their cheeseburger empanada was good. Also their Fresh Morir Sonando was amazing along with their steak Quesadilla. Looking forward to trying their Cuban Sandwich as well

This spot is definitely worth a visit. Finding parking can be a challenge, but it's all good because the food and drinks make it worthwhile. I ordered the Dominican Smash Burger, and let me tell you, it was delicious! For drinks, I had the Nutcracker, and the moment I took a sip, my eyes lit up. My wife was like, 'Really good, huh?' and I replied, 'Yes, it absolutely was!' She enjoyed the sangria. We will definitely return because there are so many more items on the menu that I can't wait to try.

I had such a great experience at this Dominican snack spot in Park Slope! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. You can really taste that authentic Dominican touch in every bite from the savory snacks to the sweeter treats. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made me feel right at home. It’s the kind of place you go once and immediately know you’ll be coming back. Perfect for a quick bite or just to satisfy a craving for something delicious and comforting. I had empanadas!! Tuesday are $2!!! And a yaroa sure was delicious. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area you won’t be disappointed!

OMG!! FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING!!! We ordered to go. We ordered the Dominican Smash Burger, Pernil Chimi, Steak and cheese quesadilla, Yuca fries, French fries and 2 lemonade. The Dominican smash burger was probably the best burger I've ever had. Im not kidding. I wasn't sure about everything on it but when I took that first bite I said oh hell noo!!! It was a little messy cause the sauce but didn't care definitely worth it. Pernil chimi was very unique very flavorful and delicious. My husband was obsessed. The first thing that came out of his mouth was "We need to come back here". ( We live in nj sooooo..))) Steak ans cheese quesadilla was seasoned well and soft. Delish as well. You can't go wrong with Yuca( Cassava) Fries and reg fries as an additional one. They give you the delicious pink sauce (mayo/ketchup combo) to pair it with everything is need but we only used it for the fries as everything was so flavorful. I'm very picky with my lemonade. I WAS BLOWN AWAY!! When you go to a typical Dominican restaurant the lemonade can have an insane amount of sugar but not here, Lemonade was fresh and not too sweet. Perfectly put together and refreshing. Will be back ! Let me tell you I didn't even make it home before writing this review.

We try new places whenever possible. This is very authentic DR food. We tried the DR steak sandwich, it's big enough for two and the empanadas. Both dishes were very good. Empanadas perfectly flaky. The steak was a bit over cooked but still delicious.

As soon as you walk in the atmosphere immediately puts you in a good mood. Tons or sunlight and Latin music in the background makes you forgot its cold outside. I got the grilled Salmon wrap and Shrimp Mofongo, which hit the spot after a good work out. Excellent portions and the food tasted super fresh. My 3rd time there but felt compelled to write a review after this visit. Hospitality makes you feel welcomed like visiting a traditional Dominican home. Keep up the good work.

The food here is delicious every day of the week, but $2 Emapandas in this economy are just a deal too good to pass up! I go every week. This corner has scene a few different spots in recent years and I’m really hoping this one is the champion that stays 🙏 it’s a welcoming inside experience, the employees are all kind, I really love it!

Foods great, I recommend all the time, I even do group orders with my office - maybe 3-4 separate orders in one delivery but we always receive 1 sauce every time. So I called ahead of time and assured to send a sauce for every order as they are for separate individuals. The girl over the phone states only one sauce PER BAG and $1 each additional sauce. the size of the sauces alone are not worth $1 and how are 3-4 people supposed to eat off of one sauce. Please fix this.

Antojitos BK is a sensory explosion from the moment you walk in. The place is bright, smells incredible, and possesses that rare quality where the food actually tastes even better than it looks. We trekked two miles from the other side of Prospect Park to get here, and honestly? I’d do it again in a heartbeat. The Food - The Cuban Sandwich is a masterclass in texture. The bread was perfectly crunchy, housing juicy, expertly seasoned roasted pork, ham, and melted mozzarella. The "special chimi house sauce" ties it all together beautifully. My only tiny gripe was the pickles, they were fine, but didn’t quite live up to the high bar set by the rest of the ingredients and my love for pickles. The real showstopper, however, was the Pechurina Dominicana. This might genuinely be the best fried chicken I’ve ever tasted. The breading and seasoning were flawless, and the chicken inside was remarkably moist. When a 6-year-old food critic confirms it’s amazing, you know it’s the real deal. The fries were also super solid with great seasoning. To drink, the Morir Soñando was excellent, and the Dominican soda was a nostalgic trip down memory lane, bright, laboratory-colored (in the best way), and tasting exactly like childhood. The Vibe & Service - The service is exceptionally friendly. Yes, there is a wait, but it’s 100% justified by the freshness of the food. You can tell nothing is sitting under a heat lamp here. Even the bathroom was impressive, spotless and featuring a surprisingly high-tech mirror. :) The Catch - The only downside is the ergonomics. The tables are repurposed oil drums, and because the “tabletops” don't extend past the base, there’s nowhere for your legs to go. It makes sitting and eating quite uncomfortable, especially for children. Given how many families were there, it’s a bit of a literal "knee-knocker." Final Verdict- Despite the legroom struggle, the food is magnetic. Watching the Mofongo and Mofongitos being served at other tables has already convinced me to make the walk back. A must-visit for anyone in Brooklyn looking for authentic, fresh, and soul-warming flavors. - 1 star for the comfort.

The place has a casual feel, like more of a to-go place, but there is plenty of seating including outdoor seating. We got take out. It was a bit of a wait to get the food. Overall the food was pretty good and very reasonably priced. The empanada was delicious and the croquettas were great. The pernil was perfectly cooked, juicy and tender. The burger is very interesting. The cabbage on the chimi is perfect, fresh, lightly pickled. The Cuban sandwich was disappointing and dry.

I’m excited that there’s finally a new Dominican food option in the area, we’ve been waiting! We weren’t too hungry but we decided to try out a few empanadas. They were fresh, which was great, but the beef was just okay. They initially gave us the wrong empanada but were very nice when we reminded them of our order. I’m looking forward to going back and trying out their other dishes like the mofongo and sandwiches. The people working here are friendly and I’d highly recommend giving them a chance if you’re nearby.

I would recommend to get the mofoguitos. Happy hour pina coladas are good too . Don't get the churasco, I ordered medium and got it well done. It was really hard to chew. I did not want to complain, food was already paid for. You order at the kiosk, pay then you get called to come pick up your food.

k

Food is delicious (5/5 when you get hot food) but be prepared to wait (2/5 because they also don’t warn you that it takes a while). The place gives primarily take out vibes, with sit down wait times. We’ve gone a few times, forgetting about the wait each time (our fault). This time we ordered two empanadas which took 30 minutes. It seems to take roughly this long for empanadas whenever it’s not empanada Tuesday? The empanadas were very well seasoned (why we keep going back), but lukewarm.

J
Julissa Encarnacion

I’d give this place an overall 3/5. The food I ordered (fritura) was okay—not bad, just a bit too salty, and it became overwhelming after a while. My boyfriend got the chimi sandwich and didn’t enjoy it as much; he liked the patty and cabbage, but felt there was too much bread and barely any patty. That said, I would come back to try something else. The atmosphere was a solid 5/5—super cute and a whole vibe. I didn’t get a chance to take any pictures unfortunately of the place 🤦🏽‍♀️ but I took a picture of the food. Which by the way the fritura was a good portion for two people. If you’re in Brooklyn and craving Dominican street food, I’d still recommend checking this spot out. I can’t completely say no to the place because I would like to try other things but it wasn’t horrible the experience. They even have frozen drinks if you want to switch it up! Also, the music was good. They played Spanish music which is great and the complete vibe.

M

Its very cold the seating is uncomfortable the food is good but not worth the price the music is also very loud.

There needs to be a change from the customer service to the food all the girls here are different I remember there was another girl on Thursday afternoon I used to be a regular because her vibe and customer service was amazing I don’t know what happened that there’s another girl now and she’s always so serious never wants to talk I decided to go on Tuesdays since it’s also empanada Tuesday and both girls are so rude they talk over you like if they were irritated it honestly sucks how this place is going down hill I would honestly recommend just going to 45 street they’re vibe and customer service is just amazing and the food portions are better even the empanadas are bigger however the prices are kinda ridiculous charging $17 for a sandwich.
