Fun place. The doorman helped us figure out how to get in. Drinks are strong and interesting. They are all hand-crafted so don't be in a hurry (but, they are worth the wait). Limited snacks are available. The bartender was friendly and happy to chat with us.

So cool!! I love a good Speakeasy and this one is soooo cute!! Love, love the Apothecary theme. Our cocktails were top notch as was our mixologist, Tristan!! He was very friendly and more than willing to share his knowledge and “Tricks of the Trade.” Only here for cocktails, so we didn't try the food. If the food is anything like the cocktails, you can’t go wrong. Don’t forget to get the password!!

Fun little speakeasy style bar with "secret" entrance. You must subscribe to the monthly newsletter to get the password each month to enter. There was a small line but we were seated quickly. All drinks were expertly crafted and delicious. The bar area is very beautiful, although we sat in an adjacent room this time. The food selection is limited but the items are good. There are also other concepts attached that you can venture into as well

The white rabbit is a very neat bar love the speakeasy theme and the fact that you have to find the password cocktails were overall amazing though certainly a little pricey, but you get what you pay for bartenders were top-notch I definitely would come back and try the flatbreads.

Great speakeasy to check out in Downtown Gilbert! You give them the password and they take your name and make sure there's a place for you to sit. They accept reservations and walk ins. Plenty of cool stuff to see on the way in and on the walls inside. They have a lot of options on their drink menu or you can ask for a bartenders choice and they make a custom drink for you to try. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Service was quick, highly recommend checking this place out!

Cool bar with a great vibe! The staff, including security, is super friendly, and I love the music. The crowd is diverse, with a nice mix of ages, which makes it even better. I’ve been here several times, and it’s always a good time.

This is one of the best speakeasy bars in AZ. They have a good collection of drinking options, their cocktails have a good balance of freshness and taste without going over the top. Unfortunately some other bars in the valley try too hard and mess up their cocktails. Overall a great experience.

The red light is on... Do you have the password? Loved our visit to the White Rabbit. The atmosphere was perfect, down to the password and the secret entrance. The low light and 20's era decor really sets the mood for some sipping and conversation. We were there at happy hour and found the drinks to be tasty and strong. The Perfect Alibi was delightful with Corazon Tequila, Lime, Orange Peel, Vanilla, Raspberry, and Bitter Root... I enjoyed the cherry, too. I asked for an old fashioned with dark rum and was not disappointed. We will definitely be back!

We didn't eat but had some awesome cocktails. I had a Thorogood and it was great! Cool, dark atmosphere like I would imagine a speakeasy would be like.

Wonderful atmosphere, food and service. This little gem is tucked away but visible a must try. Generous portion meals and reasonably priced.

This is my personal favorite spot. You can travel the world with all of the amazing flavors they can create with drinks. HIGHLY recommend this place.

We have not been here in a long while. We decided to go for drinks last night for our anniversary and I am so glad we did. We got Michael for a bartender and he was amazing. We talked whiskey with him for an hour. He shared about their barrel picks and even let us sample a couple of them. This place is great to enjoy drinks in a comfortable environment with friends. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing. This isn't just a bar like other places, the bartenders actually are carefully crafting your drinks right there for you and the drinks are amazing. The food is fresh and delicious, and service was perfect. Make sure to sign up and learn the password, or you will not be permitted entry. It was free.

We stopped by on a Friday evening and did not make reservations. We only had to wait about 1 minute before we were seated at the bar. They were pretty busy so it took a few minutes to get service but the bartender was super friendly and knowledgeable and gave us some great suggestions. The place is dark and romantic and beautiful decorated, prohibition speakeasy themed bar. The drinks are so beautiful and prepared with love. They have an extensive menu with a little something for everyone. It’s a cool spot for a date night.

Loved this bar. They had some great drinks and happy hour is 5pm-7pm. Try their website and sign up for their emailing list to be able to get their monthly password. They ask you for it at the door which really adds to the mystery and experience! You also have to go through a fun hallway and small puzzle to enter the bar so it’s super neat. The staff was very friendly and the drinks and food were stellar. Can’t wait to go back.

Fun addition to our Gilbert trip! Don’t forget to visit their website to get the password to enter! Cocktails were great and the atmosphere was fun. So much to take in before you even enter the bar! Their cocktail and bourbon list is fantastic + they have a full bar and can create any drink you’d like.

So by now you probably know the back story on this place so I'll spare you those details and tell you what I think could be helpful and the good and bad during my visit so management can review what is happening in their venue. Aside from what all of the news articles tell us this is different than what I had read about. It has transitioned into a modern speakeasy with a more of a goth apothecary and curiosities type feel. The wait staff dresses in all black and some are gothed out. Upon waiting to enter one goth gal didn't acknowledge us it made me feel uncomfortable. Then she went on to openly chat about personal things with a door man who had returned from his car. He was friendly when spoken to. No password was ever requested. They didn't tell us about the venue, drinks, what is special about the place, they did not add any value to our experience at all. Sadly I find this kind of lackluster service common in Arizona so I won't ding this place too much for it. Once we got through the door the entrance was really unique with the hallway of apothecary bottles. Once you found your way in a hostess was waiting for you and took you to your seats. The atmosphere was extremy dark. Too dark for a selfie on a date in most areas. The music was awful honestly.... It was a Friday night so they had rap playing. I tried to appreciate the attempt at some of the smoother rap songs but it still contradicted the entire experience. Why would they do this? Have you not heard of Perov Stelar? Frank Sinatra, anything prohibition era with a twist? You could probably get a DJ to mix something for you here in Phoenix. The music played at a comfortable level and we were able to talk just fine. Our beautiful long wavy haired waitress quickly appeared. She graciously returned my excitement to be there and quickly started to bring our experience back to five stars. To see the menu we needed a cell phone to scan the QR code. Reception was sketchy and I was bummed the beautiful menus I had seen in photos were no longer available. They really add to to ambiance I hope they come back after the pandemic is completely over. I wish I could have seen photos of the cocktails on the online menu. It was hard to figure out what was what. They only had four unusual craft beers so my very traditional friend had to order a drink he doesn't normally order, sadly he never finished it. I had three lifechanging cocktails I found absolutely supurb, these were the best drinks I have ever had. My biggest disappointment was I couldn't drink more! I loved the smell of the smoked cocktails. The bar was beautiful as was the interior. The chandeliers were gorgeous. It's fun that my take home drink was retrieved from an apothecary cabinet. Those little details really go far. I will definitely go back any time I get the chance when I visit AZ. Thank you!!

Cute little speak easy but you gotta know the password or pass phrase that changes monthly! Food is good and the drinks are great! Also connected to a cool bar that has a DJ and plenty of room to dance. I may have had one too many dirty shirlies in there 😅

Great little speakeasy in downtown Gilbert. Staff was friendly and very informative. Drinks were very tasty and reasonably priced. Plenty of parking and the bathrooms were very clean. I would suggest signing up for their website to get their monthly password.

Really fun place to enjoy a cocktail and some history! I love a place with something more to offer than just drinks! Go to the website to get the password! They update it monthly. Nice decor and friendly staff.

The red light is on the stairwell....you give the password and you step back in time as you go down the stairs into a hallway and open up the wall down the way to the most elegant room you have ever seen in AZ. Definitely a great place to explore. They do not serve dinner but the selection of appetizers is delight for your tastebuds and their drinks will go down smooth. Advisory parents: It is 21 and older only so get that babysitter and prepare to enjoy your evening. Password changes monthly so go online before you get there and sign up with them to get it.

Went last night to join friends who are from Phoenix and wanted to check it out. Waited for about 15 min and enjoyed the walk in finding the door. Place was happening. Friends enjoyed the drinks and we had a delicious Blondie for dessert. Loved the decor and ambiance but it's a little loud if you want to have a conversation.

I love the White Rabbit and try to stop by whenever I am in town. I haven't eaten there, so my food rating is based on smells. And boy, it smells good. I am here about the drinks and they are fantastic! I highly recommend!!!

Eli & Megan are top tier! I asked for a clover club (which most people do not know how to make because it’s n old prohibition drink) and Megan didn’t bat an eye and made the most delicious martini! Absolutely made my day🤍 Thank you for having smiley amazing service ✨

The girl working security at the door made our night. My friend was having a rough night and she was so incredibly kind and personable with the situation. She totally turned the vibe around. Give her praise, give her a raise, give her everything. Thank you.

Gilbert’s first speakeasy-style underground restaurant is a creative and fun concept, and we were excited to check it out. Unfortunately, the experience started off on the wrong foot—the guy at the front was quite standoffish. We were made to wait for about 15 minutes even though there were plenty of open tables inside, which was confusing and took away from the initial excitement. Once we were seated, things improved. Our server was attentive and friendly, and the bartender made an excellent Old Fashioned exactly the way I requested. Overall, the service (once inside) and ambiance were great, but the front-of-house experience could use some improvement to match the rest of the vibe.

Overall a really great experience. Why not 5 stars? They were unable to make one of their signature cocktails, just happened to be the one I wanted to order. The other reason, if this were strictly a drinks only place then the small round tables are adequate. As soon as you order food, there just is no room, very inconvenient. Now for the great news. All the drinks we ordered were really well done and presented. For not be a restaurant the food was good and the service was fantastic. They have a happy hour from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm with a limited selection of $10 cocktails.

Enjoyed the speakeasy type vibe they were going with from the beginning. Drinks and looks were great, I do wish their music matched the vibe. Still a great experience, i had a wonderful time. The service was a bit slow, (still existed but seemed more to be there with their crew than the guests) try their drinks and enjoy them, because their cocktails rock.

The secret concept was great! Spent sometime to find the entrance :P the cocktails were amazing and the ambience was one of the best. The only drawback is food menu but again who needs it if you come for a bar for few drinks and to spend some quality time with your date.

Okay so I wouldn’t go for the food, but the staff were THE friendliest and on top of it people I may have ever experienced in public. You WILL need at least half your party present to be able to go in, but service is prompt and the staff were knowledgeable. It is VERY dim, but if you’re just down there to chat and hang out with friends then it shouldn’t be a problem. I had the short pink drink called the Scarlet Sundown (or something like that) and it tasted JUST like a watermelon otter pop haha. Great drinks, fun vibe. Would definitely go with some college age buds in costumes just for funsies.

I absolutely fell in love with this place. It is a awesome speak easy. I only give service 3 stars and a overall 4 star rating because I asked the waitress about substituting the 1897 whiskey for another and she told me it was a 2-4 dollar upcharge. When I got my bill, it was actually a 32 dollar upcharge. Make sure you order the drink it is, or seek definitive information. I was wowed by the experience. Drinks taste is out of this world.

Really cool spot, great drinks and awesome atmosphere! The food was just ok and a little overpriced but we for sure will be back! Our server was great and you can tell the drinks are made well and with care.

Speakeasy touted as the best for Old Fashioneds. Too sweet. Tried the All Luck with tequila, lime, kiwi, ginger and habanero bitters. Again, too sweet. Cannot be just us.

Went to the White Rabbit Speakeasy in downtown Gilbert tonight. Fun experience down the hidden passageway, the special rabbit door pull on the secret door into a probation style speakeasy. Tasty drinks & food. 🍸 Make sure you have the password to get in😉

Been here before and really enjoyed it. But I had a girlfriend visiting and just wanted to pop in so that she could see the bar and then pop out. Not order not get a seat, basically just walk through. They said it wasn't allowed and I couldn't just show her the bar

Thought this would be a calm, nice Friday night date.. If you'd like to have conversation it's not likely you'll hear them the first time, or the second. Drinks were decent but overpriced and overly saturated with flavor, my paloma even tasted like they tried to add their own grotesque spin on it.

If you like an obnoxiously loud bar with overpriced extremely unbalanced cocktails, then this is the place for you! But be warned, your date might not go out with you again if you take them here.
