Excellent location, welcoming trattoria-style atmosphere, yet tasteful. We were there on New Year's Eve and it was a perfect evening: good food, attentive and friendly staff. We waited until midnight with music, but without excess. They also served cotechino with lentils and prosecco, all excellent value. What can I say... thank you!

January 1, 2026 Dining at Damatra' is a journey down memory lane. Last night we rediscovered the atmosphere of Grandma Angela's tavern: childhood aromas, delicious dishes, a young and smiling staff. The outdoor toast, with the fire crackling in the brazier and the fires, catapulted us back to a childhood New Year's Eve. Are you longing for New Year's Eve? Go to Damatra. A truly lovely place to eat, an ideal trattoria for a lunch break or even a nice Saturday lunch. High-quality, delicious food. Especially the focaccia! Everything was excellent, including the prompt and efficient service! The place has a "family-friendly and welcoming" feel. The only minor complaint: the bathrooms could use a bit of updating, but nothing invasive! 😀 Recommended.

First time for us, really excellent, trusting the reviews... we took a platter with focaccia (for 2 people) because the focaccia is whole... then off the menu, sliced beef with porcini mushrooms (July 26th!)... I attach a photo... and classic sliced beef with vegetables. They don't have bulk wine, we had Ribolla gialla, excellent, coffee and amaro. As for the quality of the food, we will definitely return, parking 20 meters away. Recommended!

We've been going to Damatrà for two years now, and it's become a regular spot for us. The pizza is delicious, and the place offers a wide selection of wines and craft beers. The young staff is always available and has an infectiously friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend the outdoor veranda, which is warm and welcoming.

After a stroll along Lake Varese, we stopped for lunch at Damatra', a welcoming place with friendly, smiling staff. We had one of the best pizzas ever. The pizza was made with love, especially the young and knowledgeable Italian pizza chef. The rabbit was especially delicious, melting in the mouth. We also had an excellent tagliata (a slice of beef) served with parmesan and tomatoes. Prices were average. I recommend a walk in the green Parabbia marshes to help with digestion. I'll definitely be back for another meal.

Original dishes. For the "secondo," I strongly prefer the use of mashed potatoes, although they were very tasty 🙂 Dishes perfectly prepared. Good wine. Fresh and quick service. Very good value for money.

A cute place with a lovely internal courtyard where you can eat. The dishes are well-prepared, and the complimentary focaccia is excellent. Next time I'll try the pizza.

The pizza on the veranda was delicious. The location was very nice, but unfortunately the mosquito repellent wasn't enough to keep those pesky blood-sucking insects at bay, and the excessive heat was unpleasant. We'll be back to try the dishes on the menu that piqued our interest, perhaps choosing to dine inside. The atmosphere is very pleasant, cooled by the air conditioning. The service was young and very courteous, though a bit inattentive on occasion. Not bad, but there's certainly room for improvement. See you soon!
