My favorite go to place. The sushis are very cheap and they have got a great range of them. My favorite one is rainbow combination sushi. Great staff!

Ate dinner here with a party of 7 people and the food was good and fresh. The staff was attentive, but one of the workers was giving us dirty looks after giving us the check. There was still food coming to our table and we were figuring out how to split payment between all of us (they only allow 3-4 cards each bill), so I do think it was a bit unnecessary for her to have been acting rude towards us..? We were still in the middle of eating, and we were being rushed to pay the check before we were even finished. Aside from that though, I would recommend coming here. The sushi is cheaper compared to other places, but still has a good taste. It was busy during dinner time.

This is a nice value sushi spot here in Old Town! The Teriyaki Chicken Bowl is a good size and was tender with just the right amount of sauce. Also the Spicy Tuna Roll was fresh and flavorful. The server who handled my order was very polite and there is a loading zone outside on Colorado Blvd for pickup orders.

I’ve eaten at this spot before for dining but this review is mainly off of a Uber eats delivery. Probably one of my favorite sushi spots in Pasadena. Solid selection, excellent flavor and quality. I had a buy one get one special(Uber eats) for the popcorn shrimp roll & dragon roll. I also got the soft shell crab & salmon skin salad. The dragon roll was excellent along with the popcorn shrimp roll. The soft shell crab was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The salmon skin salad was also delicious and a great starter. In house dining is the best way to enjoy their entrees and meals, but as a delivery order, it was still really good. I highly recommend stopping by but be aware that parking is very limited.

Walked in at 10:20 pm on a Saturday evening where other places in the area were crowded and had a waiting list. We were able to sit right away, orders were taken and served seriously way faster than McDonalds. Some rolls were not the best looking ones but had great ratio of rice and fish. I'm a big sushi fan and I am not disappointed.

Food was good, a bit on the salty side. Price is right, not expensive with a smaller serving portion. There are $10 lunch specials until 4 pm. Service a bit inconsistent among waiters and waitresses. Some were attentive and friendly while some just OK. It’s not bad, but not like so good that I want to go back again. We sat right by the door and a bit annoyed with cold air blown in whenever customers went in and out of the restaurant.

Really good sushi spot! The fish tasted fresh and the rolls had great flavor combinations. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff was welcoming. Only reason it’s not a full 5 stars is that the wait for food was a bit longer than expected. Still, I’d happily come back.

We visited Sushistop in Pasadena after church on a Sunday and had a great experience. Though the restaurant was empty when we arrived, we decided to give it a try based on recommendations from friends—and we weren’t disappointed! The menu is extensive, offering a variety of sushi, sashimi, and bento options. The service was attentive, and the food arrived at our table quickly. We tried several items, including the spicy tuna with crispy rice, salmon roll, albacore sashimi, and the teriyaki beef with tempura shrimp. Everything was fresh and flavorful, with the sushi rice perfectly seasoned. The teriyaki beef was especially tender and paired well with the savory sauce. The interior of the restaurant is pleasant, and it’s a great spot for a casual meal. Parking is convenient, as there’s a public parking structure on Green Street where you can park for just $1 for 90 minutes. We’re looking forward to returning to try their lunch specials, which include sushi rolls for under $10—a fantastic deal. Sushistop is definitely worth checking out for quality sushi at an affordable price!

This won’t be the best sushi you’ve ever had, but surprisingly good sushi for the price point that it is at. Nothing fancy here, but good quality cuts of the classic salmon, tuna, or yellowtail sushi with some rolls. Affordable and tasty sushi for what it’s worth. Don’t need to spend a lot of money like a high end spot to get full and be happy.

definitely better known for their sushi. the pork tonkatsu udon and tempura udon were alright, broth was quite salty and needed to add water. took quite a bit of time to be served (30 minutes) despite few people at the restaurant, and both the tempura and katsu were soggy. portions were okay. staff were very nice and understanding.

I'm not going to go into too much detail to make it easier. The sushi is great and affordable, but our server today was dam near rude to us. An older gentleman was our server and just treated us like we were a chore or a sore he had to deal with. He did it with everyone he was attending, I get there are bad days, and maybe they were understaffed, but you can not treat customers like that. I still would recommend giving this place a try because I know this isn't a regular thing. I'm guessing just a bad day for the guy.

I have been a regular costumer of this place for months, having lunch there everyday. Sure the order took longer than usual thus affecting my lunch break, but something I can't tolerate is attitude and the attitude I encountered truly did not made it worth it waiting longer. So I got up and left

If I can give NO stars I would. Service was awful, literally took them 20+ mins to bring out the only 2 rolls I ordered. They forgot clearly. And then then rolls were liking like 4 SMALL SKIMPY rolls. Not worth the price, not only that, pretty damn sure it’s NOT fresh. My sister ordered the Tonkatsu ramen and it came out TOO quick, suspiciously. She threw it up a loud later, she got food poisoning. NEVER again coming back. Gross.
