Cute place, knowledgeable and welcoming service, tasty drinks and a warm cozy space to sit in.
The staff is always friendly. There are options to accommodate food allergies. Great atmosphere and place to meet friends or have a small meeting.
Our favorite coffee shop in all the North Country! Excellent coffee (superb lattes and unique flavor specials), cozy shop, and friendly baristas! Can't say enough good about this place. :)
Tried the spiced maple tea and it was amazing! The maple adds just a slight sweet to help balance out some of the spiced from the Chai and cinnamon! Definitely recommend. Breakfast sandwich on the other hand, skip it! Made some time before and stored in a hot box. Cheese completely melted off. 🫠
I’ve had both the regular oat latte, and recently tried the seasonal Cardamom Almond Latte !
We stopped here while passing through town. The space is cozy and inviting to all and staff were very friendly. Our lattes were well made. We were easily able to find parking across the street.
Best coffee you can get in Plattsburgh. Great people working there too. Always friendly.
My friend always meet there and have coffee. We never feel rushed. Wish there was more chair opportunities but would never complain about the people because they are always amazing!
Awesome coffee, atmosphere, treats, and staff! Amazing selection of Nitro Cold Brew, lattes, pour overs, chai tea, matcha, and all the yummy caffeine goodness you’d want in a local coffee hotspot. Besides having superb locally roasted coffee they also have cute merch; Enamel pins, stickers, paper goods, and candles. The staff is always friendly and fun to interact with- a real “cheers” vibe! Hands down the best coffee in Plattsburgh and I dare say…the world! ❤️☕️
Chapter One is a great place to get coffee, tea, treats, and is a welcoming space for everyone! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! I love the Little Free Library in the back too!
Very cozy coffee shop. Service is fast even when there’s a long line. The maple cream cold brew is outstanding!
Love stopping by this cozy shop whenever I am in Plattsburgh. Good tea, good food very chill atmosphere. Highly recommend
They were really good. My daughter got a free coffee drink on her birthday! They were really friendly and had a bowl of water available to customers that had dogs with them. Very pet friendly place!
Stopped here for coffee before we headed back to Canada and are so happy we did! The lattes were delicious as well as the breakfast sandwiches. Service was phenomenal, location was clean. They have a dog of fame wall- if you have your pet with you they’ll take a picture and add it to the wall which was awesome. Great seating areas, clean bathroom and near the back they had board games!
Cute and cozy cafe in downtown Plattsburgh offering great coffee at a solid price. I was also pleasantly surprised to see merch, which is always a cool plus at these sorts of places. Staff was very friendly and seemed to remember all their regulars, which is awesome to see. Will visit again!
Nice place to grab a coffee and wifi. A bakery choice for you and pup cup for the doggo.
Sunday morning and I arrived just before 7am. The barista was setting out the chairs and asked that I hang out until official opening time. Okay, so I wandered a bit and then returned. Coffee this morning was an attempt at a cortado but was more like a double espresso. Which was okay because it was excellent coffee but not quite what I wanted. Very comfy working space and on this Sunday morning, there was time to crank out a few Yelp reviews while waiting for Plattsburgh to wake up.
Stopped by on our way to Canada. The coffee was great, the food was subpar (we got the spinach baked good and pumpkins cake). The spinach puff was cold and very salty, the pumpkin cake was great but given to us in a bag (?).. there are no plates which is absurd. The space is great, large/high ceilings, but unfortunately not used. For a university town, I would expect more tables/couches, better music, and definitely more food (sandwiches, soups, pies etc). It has so much potential but management may need to change.
Closest thing to a classic coffeehouse this town has got, supporting local artists!. Nice space and spare but competently equipped. Two beefs: 1) the team has little engagement with customers, failing to acknowledge customer or offer any explanation of delays. Older barista guy failed to make eye contact with most customers unless directly asked a question. Other team members on other days were not able to explain with any detail, the roast or the taste of their coffee beans. But what was worse in my mind, was that they seemed to not care. 2) the roast and pulls make for bitter lattes, even with 14 ounces of sweet whole milk; even with a risstretto pull (shorter). Bitter is not better. It’s worse. It’s a sign of acidity in beans, or bad roast or too long of pulls. With this team’s training, I’d guess it’s a bit of all three. This reviewer likes espresso, a LOT, and does not like espresso that needs honey and vanilla or white chocolate to make it palatable Best of luck, though. It’s off to a good start after pandemic, and it has good bones. .
I call it chapter one and done and I’ll never go back in there again after the rude disrespectful and bullying behavior given to me by Ed I’ve also spoken to three X employees who quit because of Eds bullying and the staff’s rude and disrespectful behavior and that starts from top on down Ed go get some help you need it PS their coffee actually is not that good and it’s always warm after 3
