Not all Outbacks are run the same. I like them all, but this one is extra special. The crew is very courteous and accommodating. The food seems to be much better than others. They come out to your car for curbside to let you know the status of your order, as soon as you pull up. When I ordered kid’s meals, they even send home the coloring placemats they give when we are in restaurant! It’s all about the little things. Love the Prosper, TX Outback!!!

Wow, such a good sirloin dinner, Food was excellent, service great, server guy was good, overall 5 star, we will be back, enjoying this meal much more than the texas roadhouse sirloin meals.

Curbside was excellent. A little chilly so we ordered in. Grateful for the efficient service. I pulled up in the curbside space and within moments my order was in my back seat. Awesome!!

We had the pleasure of attending their soft opening in Prosper today, and everything was fantastic—from the service to the food! Between the five of us, we enjoyed the Bloomin' Onion, mozzarella sticks, soup and salad, Bloomin’ Burger, Bloomin’ Fried Chicken, Queensland Chicken & Shrimp Pasta, and steak with mashed potatoes. Hands down, the BEST mozzarella sticks I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!

Had a great pick-up experience today with Outback! Picked up lunch to surprise my family. Ordered online before I left my office. Pulled into the parking lot and a super friendly girl was immediately walking my order out! Everything was packaged great - even got a Sharky Temple that was taped up for no spills! Witt fast food prices being almost the same as Outback’s lunch specials, this is a fantastic option - and way better food!!

Omg!! Best ribeye I’ve ever had! Took 7 family members today and everything was perfect. Dayten was our server. Awesome job. We own a bbq joint at lake Texoma, 1 hr away. We will be back and will tell our friends and customers about yall!! Compliments to your entire organization.

We got to be a part of the “VIP curbside” training the other day and we had such wonderful service! Our server was attentive and helpful, and the food was delicious. My husband had the ribeye and I had the chicken on the barbie and we both were very impressed. We also loved the cheese fries, margarita, and blueberry lemonade! It was all delicious. We are really excited for this location to officially open and can’t wait to come eat inside sometime soon! Thank y’all!

Crikey! We had a great time at the Outback Steakhouse. We enjoyed signature dishes such as the bloomin’ onion, as well as a seasonal treat, the Mr Gingerbread Martini! We liked the Mr Gingerbread Martini because it came with a souvenir koala. Troy did an outstanding job and is a credit to the team. Corporate Outback Steakhouse would be wise to circle him for a promotion/raise.

Not all locations are equal, but this one is prosper was great. The only bad thing was they hire a lot of young workers who don't really know things or are slow, other than that it was good time and I dont have to drive 45 min for the other location that is good

Kennedy was our server and she was amazing! Enthusiastic, engaged, and prompt! Food was BEYOND delicious. We had the boomerang mozzarella sticks (amazing cheese pull and crunch), steak cooked perfectly (divine with garlic butter on top), and the asparagus was the perfect level of soft!! God what an amazing experience for a simple little outback steakhouse.

Best customer service I’ve ever seen. We came on a Monday for my husband’s birthday. Everybody was so friendly and polite. Food was so good and came out super fast. My 5 year old even said he wanted to come back for his birthday which is in December. We will definitely be back!

Let me tell you something. First of all Pete is a great manager. However he wasn't there tonight but manager Amanda stepped in and connected me with Kelsey.. they procured a wonderful meal for a fort worth firefighter and his family that has suffered through alot. Won't get into details. But Holy heck man. Amanda and Kelse you made that families night. So very thankful. He just text me and was beyond grateful. God bless you Amanda and Kelse and Pete. For the positive things you do. Man really thanks. It made a difference in Billy's life.

Had dinner with family tonight and it was phenomenal! Food was so delicious, Alex was our waiter and he was excellent and his manager was an absolutely a classy guy! Had the honor to meet the chef also, truly a place I would go back to if I lived here….I am from Wisconsin visiting family…and I’m sure my family will go back to this Outback. We took our daughter to celebrate her birthday. She had the filet and lobster. I had the ribeye and chopped Wedge salad. My wife had the sirloin and baked potato. My daughters friend had the blooming onion chicken. The food was great and so was the service.

We purchased a 3-for-mr and redeemed another for Veterans day. We were pleased with the selection(classic outback staples) and that it comes with a dessert. While folks have cut back on appreciation for service members and younger folks are having a harder time, I appreciate places that still make efforts to give people a full and dignified meal. Our steaks were cooked a perfect medium rate and our food was great, our server was attentive, and the new look is fantastic. We'll be back soon

The blooming onion is a must-try—it was crispy, perfectly seasoned, and paired beautifully with their signature dipping sauce. For the main course, I went with the ribeye steak (bone-in), and it was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The Outback burger was equally impressive; it had a juicy patty with fresh toppings that made every bite satisfying. Every dish we ordered felt like it was made with care and attention to detail. Outback Steakhouse is definitely a place I’ll be returning to soon. Whether you’re craving steak, burgers, or just want a great appetizer like the blooming onion, this spot delivers on all fronts! Walking in greeted with smiles! We sat at the bar to greeted by Wendy our bartender who helped from start to finish. The suggestions turned out to be excellent advice! My pictures do no justice from the drink to the taste the food … ohh and perfectly grilled steak! We are huge Outback fans, from back in the day. Over the past few years, there has beena significant decrease in consistency, quality and customer service. This had prompted us to look for other options, On this night, we were going to one of those "other" options, but the restaurant gods had us miss the turn, so we had to proceed forward. On the horizon, we noticed this reletively new Outback location at about 200 feet on the left left. We reluctantly went in, based on our previous experiences. Our new experience started with a nice new building. Next we were warmly greeted by two young shining smiles, welcoming us in. The decor was significantly updated and the size of the dining room was perfectly sized, as to manage their tem scheduling more efficiently, while ensuring less empty spacing on less busy days and times. We were then greeted by our server "Chase" with a few huge "Hey Friends!" and some great conversation. The food was cooked perfectly, and out quickly. I asked for a manager to recognize the spectacular service from Chase, and manager "Pete" swung by for some great banter and conversation. Pete has a very smart philosophy for customer service and treamment of his team, which is clearly leading to some great customer experiences. If you do happen to see "Chase" on your next visit, feel free to say, "Hey Chase, tell em joke!". You will enjoy the response and it will make for a very memorable moment. All was great here, and we are looking forward to our next journey up to Proper for this Outback only. In summary: This is an Outback done right.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to an Outback Steakhouse, but the new location in Prosper really delivered. The service was fantastic—shoutout to our server Emma, who was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. I had the Bloomin’ Onion to start, which was crispy and full of flavor. The Kingsland Steak and Shrimp Pasta was rich and perfectly cooked. My parents ordered the ribeye with baked potatoes, and both were tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Great food, great service, and a welcome addition to the area. We’ll definitely be back!

I had pretty much given up on The Outback Steakhouse until I wandered in, somewhat by accident, and what a pleasant surprise! This location opened roughly 6 weeks ago and the new design and decor is really fun and a great change! Everyone was incredibly attentive and everything from the bread and salad to our steaks and ribs, sides and even dessert was really well done. Everything was fresh — the hot food was hot and the salad was cool and crisp, not soggy. Also, we tried the flight of 4 specialty margaritas and loved it! Our server, Brie, was especially outstanding — helpful & friendly. We also found that the hostess and other servers/runners and bar tender were personable and invested in our experience. It was a really good experience and I’m super glad that we gave The Outback Steakhouse another try!

We love Outback. They prepare the streaks perfect each time. They have a value menu if you order specific items on the menu, but it is a bit limited. The staff is friendly. They have great drinks.

It's been a while since I have been in an Outback. It was enjoyable and I am grateful they have a gluten-free menu now. I just wish it was more clear along with actual prices like the regular menu. It turns out the chili is a specialty side so I spent more than anticipated. It is very unclear because the gluten-free free menu implies it is just another side to choose from. Keep that in mind if you are gluten-free. I do miss their bread.

Love this newly opened Outback in our neighborhood. The restaurant is well designed for family. The steak tastes delicious. They don’t have Aussie three course meal here. The weekend is little busy and requires prior reservation. There’s ample parking and clean restroom. The staff is nice and provides attention to the customers. Sometimes due to busy time, they forgot some food to bring. We’d love to return at this location for fresh steak experience.

Great steak for the price. I'm loving the new $10 take-home menu. My kids love their salmon. I do wish they had better kid menu options. The driving are great! Loved the cheese pull on the boomerang mozzarella sticks, but it needed more blooming onion seasoning.

I stopped by the new Outback in Prosper and was pleasantly surprised by the modern, vibrant vibe. The colorful murals and interesting light fixtures give it a fresh, playful feel that sets it apart from the more traditional Outback look. The bar area features a cool, eye-catching backsplash that adds to the updated design. I started with the chili, which had great flavor and just the right amount of kick. For lunch, I ordered the 6 oz sirloin steak. It had decent flavor but came out slightly undercooked for my liking, so I added a little bit of steak sauce to bring it together. The music was fun and upbeat, creating a lively atmosphere. There’s plenty of booth and table seating, so it didn’t feel crowded at all. Overall, it’s a great new option in Prosper for a casual, enjoyable meal. Looking forward to coming back once they’ve had time to fully settle in.

Our waiter, James, was great! I ordered a burger cooked medium and it came out medium-well to well, my wife ordered a medium steak and it came out closer to rare. Flavor was still good but don't expect them to hit temps. Also got the boomerang margarita sampler and they were pretty good. Overall a good experience thanks to James.

We had a problem with my steak and the blooming onion. Unfortunately after my steak coming out wrong twice, the floor manager was real great and offered to take it off of our bill. The blooming onion was over cooked and greasy. So it came of of our bill as well. Our server was one of the best servers we have had in this area. I can not compliment him enough. The restaurant was really nice and clean, and I will return as any restaurant can have a bad night. Again, the management staff was great and so was the service. But I am writing this so they can monitor their cooks a little better.

It's been a good 15 years since we visited Outback Steakhouse. We ordered the new Chimichurri Filet and the 8 Oz Sirloin. The Chimichurri Filet meal included a blooming onion broken into pieces. The blooming onion was too oily to be enjoyed. We tried a few pieces and left the rest. The Chimichurri filet was ok, not spectacular. I wouldn't order it again. The Sirloin was seasoned well and cooked medium rare, but not very hot. The baked potato seemed a bit overdone like it had been in the oven a tad too long. We order the combo meal that included the Blue Cheese Pecan salad, which is excellent. Best part of the meal. As part of the combo, we choose the cheesecake with chocolate drizzle, we received the raspberry drizzle. We did not point out any deficiencies to the server. We should have. The server was a nice fella. I think he should have noticed that we didn't eat the blooming onion and we scraped off the raspberry drizzle, but that's on me for not speaking up. The server is not observing the customer consumption and I don't think he actually asked us how the food was, so I didn't have a chance to share our thoughts. The manager did not stop by the table either. Some restaurants have the manager visiting tables, tonight we didn't see him. Between Roadhouse across the street and Outback, the 2 are comparable in pricing, menu and quality. Outback is better on steaks and the $6 Outback pint. The service at both are comparable. In the end you can expect to spend just over $30 person. We would go back and be more forward with them about things next time.

It's been a good 15 years since we visited Outback Steakhouse. We ordered the new Chimichurri Filet and the 8 Oz Sirloin. The Chimichurri Filet meal included a blooming onion broken into pieces. The blooming onion was too oily to be enjoyed. We tried a few pieces and left the rest. The Chimichurri filet was ok, not spectacular. I wouldn't order it again. The Sirloin was seasoned well and cooked medium rare, but not very hot. The baked potato seemed a bit overdone like it had been in the oven a tad too long. We order the combo meal that included the Blue Cheese Pecan salad, which is excellent. Best part of the meal. As part of the combo, we choose the cheesecake with chocolate drizzle, we received the raspberry drizzle. We did not point out any deficiencies to the server. We should have. The server was a nice fella. I think he should have noticed that we didn't eat the blooming onion and we scraped off the raspberry drizzle, but that's on me for not speaking up. First time at this Outback. Great atmosphere and service. Unfortunately, my spouse's steak was not cooked the way she requested. The manager even took it back to cook it some more. Still not well done.

We had a problem with my steak and the blooming onion. Unfortunately after my steak coming out wrong twice, the floor manager was real great and offered to take it off of our bill. The blooming onion was over cooked and greasy. So it came of of our bill as well. Our server was one of the best servers we have had in this area. I can not compliment him enough. The restaurant was really nice and clean, and I will return as any restaurant can have a bad night. Again, the management staff was great and so was the service. But I am writing this so they can monitor their cooks a little better.

11/09/2025. I ordered a burger well done as I’m pregnant and can’t eat undercooked meat. I sent back my burger multiple times because it was barely even cooked except for the outside. Every time I got it back, it felt as if nothing was done to it like I got it back after a few minutes. It just felt like the cooks in the back didn’t care regardless of how many times the server told them absolutely no pink. Our server was absolutely amazing and sweet and kept bread and refills flowing, and the manager was also just as amazing. It just feels as though the cooks don’t really care about the requests of the guests.

Food was dependable as always. Service was abysmal. Our server showed up to take order, and drop off drinks. No checking in at all, and he literally just stood around the door by the kitchen the entire evening. No taking glasses or plates away, no refills. Nothing. If I’m paying $100 for my family of four to eat out, I expect an enjoyable, relaxing experience. This was anything but. Manager dropped off food and organized refills, but we never saw him again. Overall, a very mediocre experience.

Seriously now that I have been here 3 times the steaks and prime rib are inedible they are stringy and you can't chew them enough to swallow. If you want an awesome blossom fine but SKIP the steaks and definitely do NOT order the prime rib go across the street where the steaks are good. I have given this place 3 chances and I am not going back it is so bad.

Loved the atmosphere and the service at Outback. The grilled shrimp was a standout, really flavorful and cooked just right. We ordered the ribeyes and filet with mashed potatoes, asparagus, mac and cheese, and chili. The first couple bites of the chili were amazing and super tasty, but as I kept eating, it started tasting saltier and saltier. The mac and cheese was honestly top tier, one of the best steakhouse versions I’ve had. Mashed potatoes were solid and creamy. The asparagus was decent, just a little too salty for my taste. Overall, great vibe and some really strong dishes, but the salt level on a few items could definitely be toned down, especially the ribeyes.

Went in around 2 and got sat down and was given bread. Over 20 minutes later we still did not receive any service or someone to even take are drink order. As we got up to leave I noticed two gentleman standing in the back hallway if restaurant with different colored shirts. Went over and asked if one of them were a manager and they said both was. I expressed my displeasure with no service. They asked what they could do. I said nothing as my wife and friends are already on their way to the truck. I said what they should have done was instead of standing in the back of restaurant bsing, they should have been making sure their employees were doing their job.

I wish they had a zero rating cause that's all they deserve. Please do not go to this one at 840 South Preston Rd. Food is terrible. My wife and I went 11/1/2025 and it was simply terrible. Food, service, etc. First, seating is too tight. There's no leg or arm room. Second, wait staff is a joke. Don't even know what table is who. Third, food is herendous. My Ribeye was thin and nothing but fat. Way too much seasoning, mainly salt. My wife's Salman was under cooked and too much seasoning as well. As for the so called loaded bake potato, on both meals, was entirely too small and actually boiled, not bake at all. We should've gone to McDonald's. And beleive it or not, we was still charged. Please go somewhere else to eat. This place is herendous. They should be out of business soon. Charge entirely too much for crap.

It took us 45 minutes to get our food.Sirloin and also the alice springs chicken. sirloin had an off taste after 2 bites realized not edible.we sent it back just told them never mind on another one. The waiter was awesome. Food was not his fault. Manager took sirloin off the bill. This is not the outback of 10 years ago. They used to be like saltgrass now they are a chilis. Still charging premium steakhouse prices. Won't be back.

Food was undercooked, greasy, and salty. Steak was only fat. Waiter dropped butter on the table as he was introducing himself. Another waiter walked by and hit someone at our table with a caution wet sign. Seating was tight and the floors were waxy as if they are never cleaned. 0/10 don’t recommend

Terrible service from start to finish. My entrée came out before my appetizer, and when the food finally arrived it was cold. To make matters worse, I asked multiple times for a to-go box and the staff kept forgetting, which shows a complete lack of attention and follow-through. Overall, the service was disorganized, inattentive, and frustrating. This was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this location based on the poor service alone.

Was seated right away. Waited 20 mins for someone to come to our table, Hostess was on her phone, servers were playing grab ass over by the bar. We walked out and no one even noticed. Won’t ever be back.

All of our food was extremely salty, the chef just didn’t know the measurements, initially we thought only bloomin shrimp has too much salt, but then our main dishes came out with lot of salt in the batter, the waiter didn’t come and ask how is everything. The atmosphere was ok, would’ve been great if the music wasn’t too loud. We are prosper residents and were excited to see outback open as we love their bread (was not warm, another bummer)

To start, my wife ordered wings that arrived undercooked and raw. While mistakes happen, we sent them back and they were returned fully cooked. We also ordered a kids’ chicken tender meal with broccoli. A few minutes later, our server informed us the kitchen was out of broccoli and asked if asparagus would be acceptable, which we agreed to. When the chicken tenders finally arrived after a delay, our son began eating immediately as he was very hungry. Given the earlier issue with undercooked chicken, I decided to check his food. Unfortunately, the tender he had already eaten halfway through was completely raw inside. I have never encountered a raw chicken tender before, and we were absolutely disgusted and alarmed by the situation. Our server handled this professionally—he apologized and assured us he informed the kitchen that raw chicken had been served. However, the manager’s response was extremely disappointing. Rather than showing concern, he approached us as if we were in the wrong for refusing to eat raw chicken. He stated he would not charge us for the raw meat (which we did not ask to be replaced and should never have been charged for), then walked away with what came across as a smug attitude. I believe his name was Pete, and his handling of the situation felt very unprofessional and inexperienced. Serving raw chicken multiple times during the same visit is unacceptable, and the lack of accountability and empathy from management made an already serious situation worse. This was a horrible experience and not what we expected from a brand-new location.

I love outback, I love the food and service but this Saturday night when I was there with my family the behavior of the managers on the floor changed my mind and I might not be going there anymore. I do care about my respect more than the food. The manager were going to every table around us greeting them and chitchatting but we as the only south Asian family sitting there they just didn’t bother saying even a simple HI to us, that offends me. If you imported these managers from Australia teach them American hospitality, I was just surprised, no more outback sorry MATE

So I went there with my family Saturday night and we always come here to just hang out and have some good food. Our server, Billy was super nice impeccable service from him. Kudos to you Billy! Anyway, we were sitting and we observed the two managers walking around asking the tables how the food was, if they needed anything, how they were etc. we thought that they would come to our tables, but no. They went to every table around us, behind us, to the side of us, yet did not even make their way to our table. We felt as we were discriminated by them. As we were getting up, the managers saw us walking out and normal people would say have a great night, they didn’t even utter a single word to us. Extremely disrespectful these two managers are. Despicable.
