Had the meatloaf and the chicken fried chicken. This is not your grandma's food. The meatloaf had a spicy sauce on it. It was a little more than my husband cared for but he ate the whole thing. I thought it was good. The chicken fried chicken came out as 3 smaller pieces rather than one large chunk of meat. It was good too. The smaller pieces looked like it wasn't a lot of food but I almost couldn't finish it all. I did though because it was good. This place has a great atmosphere. I highly recommend.

Treated to a fantastic birthday lunch to die for! The Skillet Nachos and drinks were a wonderful prelude to our main entrees. The Southern fried fish with garlic mashed potatoes was a step above and beyond our expectations. The medium rare filet was grilled perfectly, as was the antelope; both buttery tender with a demiglaze that warrants compliments to the chef.

I visited the restaurant for lunch on a Sunday and it was delicious. I enjoyed the salmon and my mother enjoyed the knife and fork burrito. I highly recommend visiting and enjoying a nice meal with family close to the wonderful art installation of a tree.

Beautiful place with great servers. Or waitress was excellent. Both dishes my wife and I had were great. The steak was cooked perfectly and dishes were beautiful. The Bananas Foster was delicious.

This place is EXCELLENT!!! The food is fantastic, the service was wonderful and it is a really neat place over all. I had the 14 oz rib eye and it was perfectly cooked. My wife had the chicken fried steak and it was very good as well.

Tried this spot for the first time today after hearing a lot about it. I got the Skinny Chicken and my Husband got the Cheddar Burger and we shared the Green Chili Queso, everything tasted great and had a lot of flavor! I also had tried the Prickly Pear Margarita, it was very tasty! It did take some time for my drink to come out but the food came out very fast! Service was good as well. Would come back again. The inside of this restaurant looked really cool! A lot to look at at!

First visit was a 3 star experience. I dont remember what I got but I didnt intend to return as it felt overhyped. Im glad I had to go back because my subsequent trips were excellent. The setting is very nice and the food is great. My most recent experience was when the tacos were on special. I tried the beef and chicken ones. I think the chicken was a little better but both varieties were delicious. The rice that came along was also good but the beans were overly salty. The service is fine, everyone was friendly enough without being annoying. The angry vegan is okay- mostly avocado and some additional oiled veggies, it comes well plated and is probably quite good if youre into that. The Cajun Chicken Pasta was way better than I thought it would be. The chocolate cake we got was a nice moist chocolate but its the mexican ice cream that takes the cake here (pun not intended).

I got the pulled Chicken burrito and it was beyond good! Every bit was delicious, only received 4/5 because it was way to much queso and at the end it over powered the beans. Really loud place. Have a bar area. The lights had dust all over them. Looks like the lights and the had not been cleaned in a long time. Service was slow even though they had plenty of staff. It's a noisy place so don't recommend for a nice quite place. The good was worth it all. It is a uniquely themed restaurant and has more if a sports bar vibe. But definitely go once. I recommend the chicken fried chicken. It was delicious! I would go back just for that!

Crimson was awesome. Everyone was nice. We did go near closing time so I get it. I ordered the Chicken fried chicken, mashed p’s and gravy and Mac N Cheese! Which is a 100% must have! A bit pricey but totally worth it overall! Definitely 9/10 for me. Crimson is sweet too and helped us with directions around town! Thank You and Good management!

My husband and I stopped in on a whim and ended up sitting at the bar around 4 pm. We usually like to split meals so we can try more items, and this time we shared the Nilgai antelope. We also ordered the queso and a couple of happy hour drinks, a house red for me and a Dos Equis for my husband. The food was excellent, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service at the bar was lacking and took away from what could have been a great experience. I asked for an ice water, which the bartender repeated back, but several minutes passed and it never arrived. He stood right in front of us chatting and counting tips with another server, and my husband had to ask again before I finally got my water. Also want to mention they tried to deliver a cheese burger to my husband twice, both times very friendly however they just put it back in the window. Not sure who was missing the cheese burger, but I hope you eventually got it and it was still hot. We were never asked if we wanted another drink or dessert, and the bartender didn’t even deliver our food. We would absolutely come back for the food and atmosphere, but the service prevented this from being a glowing review. With better attention from the bar staff, this place could be outstanding.

First time we were really impressed with their lunch menu second time not so much. I had the fried catfish. He had the chicken fried steak. The portions were too small the second time around . Different cook ?? Won’t go back. The pictures are from the first time I didn’t have my phone to take pictures the second time . That tiny grilled chicken was barely a morsel and so was my chicken fried steak. We’ll be going to San Angelo for Dr visits. We need a decent serving, reason I went back but you slacked . Menu needs a heartier vegan option! The dish is pretty, and was tasty but absolutely no substance and it's over $17 (doesn't come with mushrooms). There was no option for a more filling vegan dish. Most people who visit this town come to a restuarant after a hike, and want something with more substance, not what is basically an appetizer. After letting the manager know how I felt about the food, he did not offer to fix it in anyway. Was very dissapointed with the meal and how this was handled. Things they can add to make it more filling: beans, more sweet potato mash (not just a dallop), seasoned/marinated tofu (please no bland tofu!), mushrooms, lentils. Really there are so many options to choose from, many of which are cheap, and all of which when seasoned & cooked right, will be very tasty.

Visiting from Dallas on a college tour. Was super excited about the King Ranch Antelope. 6 oz rare came out gray and 4oz due to the cool time. Management told me it would be 15 minutes to get me another at rare temp. My table was completely done with entrees. Asked for a glass of wine for the wait, that was missed as well. I know King Ranch would want their protein treated better than this! Disappointed.
