Almost everything has a sodium warning 😂. Foods good and the average American breakfast. The pancakes are best when they're left for a few hours and have syrup already pre-soaked into them and they taste mad good after that.

I love IHop and I love to go to this Staten Island location. It’s close to home, I order the $6.99 special all the time with a mimosa. My mother orders that as well. We go together as a mother daughter breakfast date. There’s an amazing waitress there by the name of Ashley she is so nice so professional super sweet always makes sure that I’m taken care of anything I need she got me. When I go there, I always ask for her. I don’t want any other waitress, but her when I’m there. I go there so much because I love the food but the staff knows when I’m there. I was forced to come here because of previous poor service and higher prices. This time a very warm welcoming lady named Anna greeted my family at the door, seated us, and served us till the end. Dropped into IHOP for breakfast because I haven't been to one for about 10 years. I was greeted at the door immediately and seated. Server was friendly and came to me quickly and took my order. The chicken fajita omlette with pancakes was very good. I was very pleased with the meal.

Must try the tres leche pancakes. But tonight I switched up and got some mozzarella sticks and Philly cheese steak and it did not disappoint !

The pancakes were good, our server was good. The place was clean and there was a staff member in the bathroom washing his hands, which makes me happy. The people who work there are pleasant and the service is quick. Prices are reasonable. I will return for a future visit.

I love IHOP and I don’t care about the haters, neither should you. It’s packed here often but the service is still good for the amount of people. Their breakfast always hits the spot and I like their portions. It is pricier but I think it’s worth it every once in a while to treat yourself.

One thing about IHOP is it doesn’t change. Pancakes taste the same as 20 years ago, and thats not a bad thing,With that being said the inside needs some updating. But the food and service was great. We each had a omelette and they came with a short stack of pancakes and everything was finished. The waitress was there every time we needed her. This is the only one on the island so weekend mornings it gets pretty packed but the staff handled it with ease. I’ll definitely be back there again when im looking to carb up.

I must say..great job to all of the waitresses and waiters, who did a phenomenal job!. They were hustling their respective tables and as well as the bus-persons. Everyone seemed to be pitching in. My food did come out hot and it was quite tasty. I ordered the strawberry crepes with the combo of eggs over easy,hashbrown, and turkey sausage. I was quite filled up..oh with a glass of orange juice. The reasoning, why I left out one star was parking is awfully tight and really my waitress. There was a spot where there was tables and chairs where you could sit out to eat. 🍽️🥞🧇🍳 There was like a little line in the entrance where there's a front desk. There weren't so many waitresses and waiters. I asked him or her what I want from their menu. I wanted the cowboy BBQ meal which was $16.99. with a glass of Sprite was later I asked for a hash brown which was $4 or $5. $5.69 for a piece of hash brown. All of that together was $28 or $30. It was so expensive for a breakfast place which is IHOP. 😔 I was a little disappointed when they gave me a check for the food. I didn't know what to expect, but I hope they lower their prices for their menu or at least combine the drink with the meal I ordered. The people were peaceful there and not so mean.🙂👍 If I went to enjoy a good breakfast in the morning 🌄 I myself wouldn't choose IHOP. I would enjoy McDonald's ,Dunkin donuts or Starbucks. But hey, that's just my opinion.😉 If you want to go here,be my guest but be aware of the prices.😄

It was a unplanned visit today & end up having a good time. The food was good , hash brown was little salty for me but not a big deal. I did have to skip the meat from my platter , obviously it's not Halal so it's ok. My server Glory was wonderful & always checked up on me . She was very kind & helpful . First allow me to commence that I found parking in front. The greeting entrance was amazing I applaud the young man at the counter. Music was very nice, the waitress was great, the food was well. Everyone was very much accommodating to my wife and I. Now the negative the table area was not to standard meaning syrup on the table top, back board of table, all around the syrup area basically glad I don’t use syrup on my pancakes.

I haven't been to this IHOP in a few years since moving to other side of the island, but errands had me back near Forest. Doesn't seem to be fully staffed because while we were seated pretty quickly, it took a LONG time to have a waitress come over to get us started on our order and it also took a LONG time to get our food. Food was OK with pancakes being the best part of the meal (considering its the International House of PANCAKES, it would have been sad if they weren't good). Waitress was very nice and as attentive as she could be, but def saw she was overwhelmed. Never remember service being this slow.

Our waitress, Laurie, was very sweet, kind, and tried her best to remedy the unfortunately poor food quality. The new breakfast burrito item felt lacking in the ingredients; the sausage and bacon were small bit sized and definitely didn't feel as advertised in terms of quantity. The hash brown was also extremely burnt, hard, and stale, which ruined the burrito and made an unappetizing side (which is evident in the video how hard and inedible it was). Laurie was kind enough to give me a new side, and her friendly service is what saved this unpleasant experience. Furthermore, the coffee was burnt due to being on the heater for too long, which further detracted from its enjoyability. Definitely don't get the burrito! I took my son to IHOP for his birthday breakfast, and while our server was absolutely amazing, the food completely ruined the experience. I clearly ordered my meal with no meat, yet my hash browns came with bacon in them. Then my eggs Benedict arrived stone cold, with pieces of eggshell mixed in — completely inedible. I’ve been to this ihop a handful of times and while the food is usually good the service could be so much better. Today one server was absolutely atrocious. Me, my husband and my daughter went to go enjoy a meal out. The server who seated us was a very nice guy and said our server will be right with us. The restaurant was half empty so a server coming to take our order shouldn’t have been a problem. Me and my family were sitting for 15 minutes without a server coming over, no water, no drink order, nothing. I asked one of the girl servers who was very nice if she was able to send our server over. She approached a young gentleman and let him know, he passed us five more times. Did not come over to take our order. Me and my family just left. I told him “we left the menus and the silverware on the table” he responds with “no problem”. Not an I’m sorry for the wait, no response, nothing. He didn’t care one bit that they just lost a customer. Very upsetting especially when you go out for a meal nowadays.

Do yourself a favor. Order or go to real diner. Food quality sucks, amount of stuff that they give you is not worth it. Tastes like frozen food from supermarket. Almost 70 dollars for this. Never again. Ruined myself a birthday.

I don't think they wash the coffee pitchers after every customer. I saw the workers who clear the tables put everything in the bucket to wash except the coffee pitchers. My guess is that they don't throw away the coffee but the just refill it before they give it to the next customer. Why not throw the remainimg coffee out, wash the pitcher, then pour fresh coffee in the pitcher for the next customer like everything else? That's my last time going there.

Sad, this use to be the breakfast spot years ago… not anymore. Eggs Benedict without hollandaise sauce. Sliced cheese slapped onto an omelette… pancakes. How can ihop not have fluffy pancakes? Very very disappointed

The food was terrible and everything was just not made the way it should.hasbrown was soggy. Omlette was cold. Order took 45 min at least to be served!! Everything was served one at a time!

We are very disappointed. We came for my son's graduation. First, the pancakes were not good, they were not fluffy, they were dry, they were small, and they tasted really bad, like pure flour... not even the children ate their pancakes... the food was very small, not even one person could eat that portion, it was enough for a child... the coffee was too light... and for the amount of food they served, it was too expensive... the service from the girl who served us was excellent and very kind. Her name is Raquel M. Thanks to her, we stayed to finish the unpleasant experience... indeed, we will not return.
