Absolutely amazing. We searched google for that perfect meal out and mission was definitely accomplished. We were almost deterred by the very few negative reviews and we were so relieved we chose to go. We did the 6 course tasting and it was near perfection. The chef came out and explained each dish and it made us feel like we were truly in a different country. Our waiter told us he normally bartended there but we would never have known. Incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. The staff was attentive to every table in the room. The food was spectacular and it was a quick decision to make this an annual happy birthday dinner to us! Till next time 🙌🏻

This is our favorite restaurant in Pocono! Nicola is a great chef! The dishes are r very tasty and so imaginative! Menu changes often! It’s a little pricey for Pocono, you will be happy that u came to eat! It’s a truly great chef’s high end restaurant! Enjoy!

Overall this has to be one of the best experiences in the Poconos…..presentation is stunning…the chef puts a lot of love into his work…the flavor is delish…portions are perfect…not too much not too small…the oysters and scallops on the menu definitely where a highlight on the appetizer list…the main entrees are perfect…service was amazing…don’t be in a rush because they let you take your time and truly enjoy the moment and the ambiance which I appreciate that you are not being rushed and can take your time…it’s worth every dollar and we can’t wait to go back again. This is my new favorite local spot.

My husband & I came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we are so glad we did! Our waitress Dominique was the highlight of our experience, she presented herself and the restaurant in the most professional way! She chose a bottle of Chianti that paired perfectly with our food. The food was absolutely everything we hoped for and then some, we can’t wait to come back every year. (especially for the cannolis!!!) Thanks again Dominique!!!

First time dining at their new location. Food, atmosphere, and service were all stellar! We especially loved the egg ravioli with sage brown butter. Extensive wine selection, tastefully decorated, servers were friendly and knowledgeable. Costs a bit more than some of the ‘nicer’ restaurants in the area but is, in my opinion, several steps above the others in quality and experience. I have found my new go-to for special occasions!

I read the reviews prior to our dinner at Momentos and we were not disappointed. The menu has a nice variety and creative blends. The wine selection is excellent. The NY Strip , oysters, Chicken Wellington, and fettuccine were fantastic. Plan to spend some time here- service is great but requires patience :-) and time.

I spent a very romantic Valentine's Day here with my husband. The Prix Fixe Menu was delectable & 1 single long stem red rose was given upon our departure. Classy. Amazing food & cocktails. Great overhead music.... we love being "occasional" regulars that are lovingly remembered every time we dine there. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Everything we had was absolutely delicious, our waitress was extremely attentive, and the chef even came out to introduce himself and talk with us. I’m so glad we found this place. The ambience was perfect and the food was even better. 10/10.

Planned the weekend getaway for my bf’s birthday in this town, sooooo happy to find this amazing restaurant for his big day. The atmosphere was upscale but very family friendly. Service was great even though it was very busy on a Saturday night. The server tried her best to check with us if everything went OK, I saw her kept running back and forth to the kitchen, and I’m sure the kitchen was super busy as well. Food: they have a great selection of appetizers and we seriously wanted to try all of them, we ordered tonight’s special: salmon tartar. Escargot, seared scallops, foie gras & fried calamari. Salmon tartar: love the sauce, very refreshing and it matched with the salmon so well, it comes with the crispy toasts, it gave the crunchiness from the soft salmon texture. Escargot: it wrapped inside the puff, I personally think it’s too much of the puff or not enough escargot inside. I barely tasted the escargot, I would prefer the traditional escargot dish just with garlic butter. Seared scallops: top notch! Perfectly cooked and seasoned, well done dish! Must have! Foie gras: OMG, full of favors, a lot of favors in a bite that melt in your mouth. Another Must have! Fried calamari : I love they have fried zucchini and jalapeños in it to balance out the texture from the calamari . Main entrees we had risotto, monk fish and chicken masala. Great portion. All main were a bit too salty for us, but still tasted good and we enjoyed them. All of the dishes had great presentation which I enjoyed them and think it’s important. I reserved the table online and wrote down it’s for my bf birthday celebration, they did not forget and bring out the panna cotta at the end with a candle and birthday song. Thank you for the wonderful dinner experience.

Took my mother here for her 56th birthday on a cold Sunday night in December. The staff is very friendly and treated us with respect and care. We had delicious appetizers, foie gras and mushroom soup. For mains we got the shrimp and lobster pasta, which was unbelievable. And finally we split the crème brûlée. A perfect evening, paired with a couple of the restaurants finest Manhattan cocktails.

The food was absolutely amazing! Definitely worth checking out. I actually would feel bad for you if you’re near this eatery and don’t check it out. The homemade rolls made from their pizza dough with homemade butter, the delicious cheese plate appetizer, homemade short rib ravioli with pork belly, the veal walker to their delicious drinks like the lavender lemon mule and heat wave and the delicious homemade desserts, blueberry cannoli and chocolate hazelnut mousse… everything was just phenomenally delicious from beginning to end. I am very eager for my next trip there. The service was also very good, our server was very kind and checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our experience. See you soon Momento!

While humble from the outside, this restaurant transforms into an absolute culinary experience that I will be ranking in to my top ever throughout my travels. From start to finish, every morsel was flavorful and paired perfectly with a sauce that was worthy of a ladle or bucket. We ordered the brie polenta tart, the soffici ravioli, and the lobster special. For our entrees we ordered the filet, the risotto, the raviolo and the lamb. Absolutely delicious every single one. Lastly we finished with a bottle of wine and every dessert - at this point we trust the chef with our lives and we weren’t let down here either. If you only have enough room for one dessert get the cheesecake! In short, this establishment is a must. Special thanks to our server Kylea who was as hospitable as she was helpful in helping us navigate a menu loaded with with delicious options.

First time we visit this restaurant. We did not have a reservation, but they were kind enough to make room for the 2 of us. Thelma was great. She was attentive and cordial. We had the calamari as an appetizer. It was scrumptious. For a main course, hubby had Chicken Parmigiano and I had the Octopus. We both cleaned our plates. We will go there again!!!

More than just a pizza place! Make reservations if you want to go on the weekend! Full restaurant with some great menu choices. Started with the tomato, mozzarella, balsamic drizzle appetizer. Delicious! Ordered gnocchi with shrimp ragu, hubby ordered sausage and pasta. Generous portions, we both had enough to have dinner the next night by adding a tossed salad to it. Very happy with my choice. Would definitely go back again. We took dessert home, shared the key lime cheesecake and chocolate mousse. Both were amazing but will definitely order the chocolate mousse next time as it was outstanding!

Friendly atmosphere. Staff was very personable. We had Veal Marcela and Fettuccine with Broccoli Rabe and sweet sausage. Dessert was a triple layer chocolate mousse. The entire meal was fabulous!

Truthfully a five-star experience. From the comforting environment to outstanding service and food, this little hole in the wall is something to see. Chef Nicolo (may be spelling that wrong) puts his heart and soul into his creations. It was more than just food, more than a dinner. Try the 6-course Captain's tasting menu. It is well worth the money. It's worth me coming back in time from 2+ hours away.

Momento is an ABSOLUTE GEM!! I can't believe I found a place of this caliber here in the Pocono mountains. I have traveled the world and eaten in some of the best restaurants, and I have to say this restaurant is up there in quality with some of the best fine-dining restaurants in the world. Everything from the service to the presentation of every dish is absolutely outstanding. You can see the love put into every dish by chef Nichola. Also, I love that I've never felt rushed to finish and leave, even if I'm still eating after their closing time. They make sure you have the best possible dinner experience no matter what. Do your self a favor and come eat here when you get a chance. I'm not from the area but I go out of my way to come every time I get a chance because is that good. P.S: their mussels are probably the best I've EVER had, and I've had a lot of them around the world.

Nikolai can do NO WRONG in the kitchen. The man is a Kitchen Magician. I had the Veal and mushroom special with gnocchi. It paired perfectly with my scotch. A couple other dishes of note are the egg yolk ravioli and literally anything else on the menu!

Dinner was absolutely delicious and service on point during this crazy time.....all servers wore masks and gloves to take away dishes and bring out new ones, everybody so kind and relaxed. Our first time experience was one for the books! Will be back to sample one of everything. Thank you so much!

Dining menu is very good. Casual menu is good also. We've done the tasting menu and it's work it to be able to try a few items in one visit. Ambiance is nice. Staff are nice as well. Owner Nicola was great. You could really see his passion for making great tasting fresh food through his descriptions and the flavor of the food. The first time we went to dine in we sat on the fine dining side. There are 2 sides of the restaurant. We did the tasting menu and it was great! The sides are split Split by menu options. Weve ordered take out many times. We just recently went on a separate visit. This last visit overall went well the only things that were a bit annoying was the fact that majority of us wanted the fine dining menu but they wouldn't serve us a cheese pizza from the casual menu for the child we had with us if we sat on the fine dining side. Even though they serve pizza aka flatbread on that side. We had to sit on the casual dining side (with is much much louder ) and order from the fine dine menu. The level of noise must be drowned out from the FD side bc the last time we were here, while the restaurant is open, we weren't overwhelmed by the noise levels. Granted there were other factors in place. There was a lot going on this day, there was a large party celebrating there as well, Differnt levels of energy within our group...Overall though, the experience was good and the food was made well and came out nice and hot.

The food and service were great. I had the fresh tagliatelle pasta and short rib with short rib sauce and it was delicious. The pasta was some of the best I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend. The chicken Marsala was also really good.

Momento Restaurant is absolutely fantastic! We had the food and wine tasting menu and not one dish disappointed—each course was delicious and thoughtfully prepared and presented by Chef Nicola. The wine pairings were spot on and elevated every dish perfectly. Our server, Jessica, was amazing—attentive, kind, and so knowledgeable about both the menu and the wines. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone, and I can’t wait to come back and try next month’s menu!

Local Stroudsburg resident here. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had anywhere. The service was amazing. Our server Jess gave absolute perfect service. Never had to ask or wait for a thing. The food was phenomenal. Drinks amazing. 10/10.

From start to finish, our evening at Momento was nothing short of fantastic. My friend and I both ordered the trout special, which was perfectly prepared—fresh, flavorful, and plated with true attention to detail. Our wives chose the beef short rib paired with pasta, and I have to say, it was one of the most impressive dishes we’ve seen in quite some time. The richness of the short rib balanced beautifully with the pasta, creating a true yin and yang of taste and presentation. Each dish not only looked like a work of art but tasted every bit as good as it appeared. The service elevated the experience even further. Kylea took exceptional care of us—warm, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. She anticipated what we needed before we had to ask, made thoughtful recommendations, and ensured everything flowed seamlessly throughout the evening. In fact, if I could, I would hire her in a second—she embodies everything you could want in hospitality. To complement the meal, we enjoyed two bottles of excellent wine. The selection paired beautifully with our entrees, and again, Kylea’s guidance helped us make the perfect choice. For a fine dining experience of this caliber, we were pleasantly surprised at how fair the pricing was. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the outstanding service all combined to deliver incredible value. Even the smallest touches set Momento apart. When we requested a little food to go, it wasn’t just bagged and dropped at the end of the table—it was carefully placed on its own stand. That kind of unmatched attention to detail shows the pride and care this team brings to every part of the experience. Momento is a gem. It’s rare to find a place where the food, service, and atmosphere come together so perfectly, but they’ve truly mastered it. We left not only full and happy but already talking about when we’ll be back. A five-star experience all the way.

Everything was great in terms of service and overall experience. I took my kids (young adults) here while we were vacationing in Tannersville. The focaccia was very good, along with the molecular butter. I will say, though, that the focaccia was not hot, but it was not cold, either. For whatever reason, it really didn't matter. It was an enjoyable experience (the bread). I have read some reviews about how long it takes to actually get your bread, but the spacing didn't bother me. Appetizers were very good...the calamari, mussels, and Caesar salad. I ordered the tagliatelli with the short rib, my son had the rabbit, and my daughter had the rigatoni caccio e pepe. My son enjoyed the rabbit, the shortrib was delicious, but the tagliatelli needed salt, and the sauce wasn't too flavorful. My daughter enjoyed the caccio e pepe, but she has never had it before. I tasted it, and although I myself have never made it, I have had it in one other restaurant in Leola, and to date, I prefer their version. I will be vacationing in Tannersville again next year, but there will be most likely many more people, so not 100% sure that I could go back with so many people (my treat). If it is just the three of us again, then yes, I would like to go back.

What an amazing experience. We were at Momentos years ago and the experience didn't quite stand out for me. I am so happy we came back. The service is above par. Our waiter was Matt. WOW. From start to finish he was on point. He was well versed on the menu and the specials. He had a bunch of tables and we never felt neglected. He was so friendly and fun. The wine recommendation was on point. The food.....had veal and chicken parm. The portions were beyond fair and delicious. Veal can be tricky as most of the time its too tough at other restaurants. It was cooked to absolute perfection!!!! Will be my gobto dish here. The chef and kitchen staff clearly care what comes out of the kitchen. The drinks were reasonably priced and delicious. We will be back.

One of our absolute FAVORITE Restaurants period… not just locally. You will be Delighted with Chef Nicola’s creations and passion. The new renovations are amazing. The vibe, atmosphere, and service are such that you never want to leave to go home. Their bartender Mat is exceptional in his ability to make excellent cocktails, while being fun to talk and interact with and somehow is able to do all that without you having to wait long for your drinks. Melisa’s knowledge of Wine and Spirits is exceptional. Melisa and Nicola are also the owners, so you may not have the opportunity or honor to meet them directly, but their passion and knowledge permeates throughout all the staff. So do not fear, your experience will be exceptional no matter who you have assuring you in your dinning experience. This could come across as an overly embellished review… but I assure you it’s not! It’s just an honest review from someone who has loved their ever experience at Momento!

What a hidden gem in the heart of the Poconos. My family and I were so disappointed that we had not eaten at this restaurant sooner. What an incredible experience from entering and being greeted by the Maitre d Michael who was super friendly and accommodating with our reservation. The atmosphere was so beautiful and warm, the waiter assigned to us Joe was superb and knowledgeable in all areas with respect to the menu and Julianna the busser was very helpful and friendly. The food was exquisite from the presentation to flavors…Wow we were blown away. Last time we had such a fantastic meal of this caliber was in NYC. Pricey but worth every dollar… will definitely be returning. Hats off to Momentos!!!

I live in this area but never stopped in for dinner. I had friend come up fron nyc for the weekend and he is a fine Neal and wine conasseur. He was so impressed with this restaurant that we ended up being the last two customers to leave. Everything was perfect after dinner we sat at the bar and met wonderful people including the owner! Love this place!

Great atmosphere. Drinks were amazing. It’s a nice experience. The food I got was not that good. I got the special that was supposed to be like chicken Alfredo but looked like everything but the kitchen sink and was overpriced ($46) I’m sorry but it wasn’t good. I would still go back and try something else because what my friends got tasted so much better so that’s on me.

Great food and service. Decided to eat inside but on the way out, the outdoor dining looked great. Tuna was very fresh and tasty. The risotto with sliced duck breast was great. As I see it, The addition of a pizzeria in the middle of the restaurant is to bring in extra money (understandable). If you block that out, Momento is definitely a place to go. I’ll be back. Was there this weekend. Great food. Staff...... nice people but a bit overwhelmed. still it was worth the wait.

My husband and I always loved Momento. Tonight we were not sure what time we would arrive so we did not make a reservation. A little disappointed to be told there are no available tables until 9pm when there are visible open tables and there is a reservation online for 8:30pm. Food is always delicious but service is hit or miss aside from the gentleman serving you at the bar.

Everything was great until we wanted an after dinner drink. We spent $1600+ and when asked about after dinner drinks they moved us to a closet area between the bathrooms and the wine refrigerator. Very disappointed but food and service was spectacular.

The 6 course chef's special was excellent in taste and presentation. The seafood with risotto was good, nothing special, but the chocolate mousse was delicious. Mushroom soup was good and the short ribs were tasty.

I came across this restaurant while away for work. I parked in their private lot. When I walked in I was greeted and decided to sit at the bar. Tommy was my bartender. While dining I kind of felt like they were paying extra attention to other patrons as opposed to me. I had to stare him down in order to get checked on while others had their full attention. I believe the owner was there too and did the same to certain patrons. Kind of awkward feeling. I ordered the black squid ink pasta and shrimp and it was pretty good even though it was luke warm and they had to warm it up for me. They added more squud ink and made it a little soupy but was good. The wine was good and so was the hot tottie. All in all I had an ok experience.

I’ve eaten here occasionally over years. At least once in their “new” digs. The food was generally good. Never had their pizza before. Ordered a regular pizza and a margarita pizza. The staff was friendly, efficient and professional (certainly not a given in this part of the world). The cheese pizza was only okay (there are at least 3 better in the area). The margarita pizza was actually kind of awful. I order them all over the world and as much as I wanted to be blown away by a place in my backyard (based on other reviews) — I was sadly disappointed. The picture shows how much was left after three people had a go at it. The restaurant itself is very nice looking and is split up into different seating areas. It’s warm and inviting.

For a place that should be high end Italian cuisine, definitely falls short. The menu is weird, would recommend the chefs starting with classic Italian dishes that everyone knows and likes and elevating them first before doing weird stuff like black truffle butternut raviolis? Like what even is that? We want fresh pasta and staple dishes that are elevated. Not a fan of the sauce either, a member of my party felt sick after eating here, I get the vibe their going for and can appreciate the inside decor and staff, however the food and menu is just not worth the pricing.

Our server was so inattentive i considered canceling and leaving. When we walked in we were greeted with nothing but side eyes and "you have reservations?" Not even a "good evening" We waited about an hour for our food, 20 minutes for drinks. We didnt get brought bread until we were there for half an hour at the least. Almost as if our server disregarded us because of our age? Maybe she thought i couldn't afford to leave a decent tip? Either way an abysmal experience on what was supposed to be a special occasion. I would never return and would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. We ordered the wagyu (amongst other things) chef recommended a rare cook, I said i wanted a medium cook and still received it extremely rare. Unreal that restaurant with these price points would give such a subpar experience. 1 star, do not and would not recommend. Attached a photo of the sever who coincidentally was the center piece of another 1 star review i found. Absolutely abysmal.

We told them the night before that we need two highchairs and they said it was no problem. We get there and there is one high chair. First problem. Took about 30 minutes for bread to come out, another 25 for salad and soup. By the time we were sitting at the table for two hours, I was sitting in the car with both kids because they were getting restless. The entrees (all only pasta, no meat at all) still were not on the table. We had no choice but to take our entrees home. We open the food an hour later (by the time we drove back and sat down) the food was nasty looking and half of us refused to eat it. The squid ink pasta looked like soup and every meal smelled worse than the next. The tortellini was potato oil soup. Completely inedible. I would not recommend this place to anyone actually trying to enjoy a good time or good food.

Horrendous Service, Dishonest Charges, and Overpriced Mediocrity. I genuinely wish I could give this place zero stars. The service was absolutely horrendous, and the food was nowhere near worth the outrageous prices. First off, the menu prices are misleading — and that’s putting it kindly. The pasta was listed at $33, but when the bill came, there was an extra $4 charge for fettuccine. Nowhere on the menu did it mention this, nor did anyone tell us when we ordered. That’s straight-up dishonest. Then came the so-called “special.” The waitress told us it was $38, but the bill showed $48. When we pointed it out, she pretended to check and then quietly changed it — which tells you everything you need to know about how this place operates. Service? A nightmare. Dinner took forever to arrive, and our waitress (orange hair, glasses, curly hair) disappeared for over an hour before checking on us. When she finally reappeared, she asked if we wanted dessert — then vanished again for another 30 minutes. When we asked another server to notify the other waitress to take our order, she refused, saying she has her own table to service and that we had to wait for her to come when she’s ready. Absolutely ridiculous. The food itself? Subpar at best, especially for these prices. Bland, overpriced, and completely overshadowed by the chaos of the experience. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in years — dishonest billing, shockingly bad service, and mediocre food. Save yourself the headache (and the money) and eat literally anywhere else.

We reserved for five, and they insisted on seating the fifth right by the main door at the end of two combined tables. We asked to bring in another table, and they pushed back saying that there's another reservation using that table TWO HOURS after ours. After ten minutes and having us promise we'll be done within the two hours, they finally brought in the table, and we were finally seated. This was embarrassing in front of my party. The food was alright. Bread was served cold, but the olive oil and cottage cheese dip was delicious. Hand made pasta had great texture, but the sauce lacked flavor. Short ribs were delicious. Octopus tasted way over charred, like burnt. Overall, service was incredibly disappointing, and the food was unimpressive.
