Darn good, if not the best Panda I've eaten at, the customer service really earns those five stars. Friendly and efficient they take your order without delay and they haven't messed it up once to date. Bravo Zulu from this veteran, keep up the good work team panda!

Amazing food, it annoys me seeing others reviews with low rating because it's hard to believe. Everytime I've gone in and had great service and food. Every time was clean to. I wonder if the place was ever messy, it'd be hard to beleive or perhaps some filthy customer made a mess. It takes time to clean after people, so if someone is messy there isnt a owl to pick something up while you pour food on the floor out of spite for the place. I don't get any of these bad reviews. They should take pics and record stuff, but without being snobs and also recording the response of the workers long enough to get some context. : D love you panda! running your way soon!

I was very pleasantly surprised to see that a Panda Express had opened up in Susanville since my last visit to the area. New and modern with ample seating inside and some outside arrangements, it makes for a nice place for a party of four to dine in. I was also very impressed at the quality of the food I ordered on my visit. There were a few food items that were out, so I was limited in choice. Despite the extra cost for the Shanghai Angus Steak item that I had, the steak was done perfectly. It was juicy and tender with a little bit of red in the middle and very flavorful. Well worth the extra cost, and was the highlight of my meal. I also had the String Bean Chicken Breast dish item as well. The chicken was also juicy and the string beans were not overcooked. It had a nice crunch to them. They have a good mastery of the wok here! Very good! Service was friendly, with Abigail plating my dish and ringing me up at the register, and Sam taking my tray once I was finished with my meal. Tasty dishes and great service! Nice job everyone!

I was pleasantly surprised by the person taking our order through the drive through. If I had professional food service folks like this to brighten my day in my industry, I'd hire them in a heartbeat. For some, it may seem like an over the top gushing of positivity but it absolutely makes a difference. We were driving through on our way to Eagle Lake for some hard earned vacationing. After a difficult drive from Reno (is it me or are people driving worse everywhere?) it was a welcome energetic greeting that made me smile. Yes, Panda Express is pretty much the same everywhere, that's why I like it... the consistency. I know what I'm going to get. What makes THE difference with Panda Express is the people and how they treat you. I fully support them for giving military and Veteran discounts, I appreciate it. Whenever we go vacation in Eagle Lake, there is a high probability that I'll be picking up lunch or dinner from the Susanville Panda Express, just to hear the energetic and positive folks in the drive through. Thank you for making my day.

The lady in the window was Super polite. I had to wait for my dish but it was my fault for going so late. But they still so polite about it.

This time i had lunch here, it was better then iv'e had so they must have cleaned up the crew that was. And they need to keep the crew thats there now that is the best crew so far and the food is the best in a long time. So very pleasant crew and i enjoyed the visit thanks.

Would love to give a 5 star rank. I just can't, because about 1 out of 5 visits the food is absolutely sub-par to put it gently. Otherwise service is always fantastic and all the staff are absolutely amazing.

I visit this location often. The food is usually consistent and decent, I haven't had any issues with employees or customer service. The only negative is drive thru, during lunch time and peak hours the drive thru moves very slow. It's not uncommon to spend 10-15+ minutes in drive thru during the peak times.

Usually a very good place to grab a quick bite, kind of disappointed in the Orange Chicken. Got a couple of dough balls fried up no chicken to be found. The dough was overcooked a clumped together making a inedible glob. This is the first bad meal I received at the Susanville location, I'll give them one more try before going to one star a writing them off. Update: Went in here in June and food was remarkabley better. Try the Wok Fire Shrimp. Good visit except for the ride Asian woman behind the counter, all the other staff were great.

Tables dirty, noodles a little hard, so we get rice. Good good in general but I was surprised we were charged an extra $1.25 for two of my entrees. It should be the same for everything up on the line, no special handling. Staff is sweet otherwise.

Staff is always friendly and the restaurant is always clean (although they should wipe down the outside tables more often). The food is good when they have it available. Half the time I end up being asked to wait until they can cook what was ordered (I guess that just means it's fresh, so not a huge negative)

Nice change of pace from regular fast food. Prices are reasonable. There is a drive-thru and a sit-down area. Be aware that they don't always have food ready and have to cook it like the mixed veggies so you may be waiting in line for up to 10 minutes while they cook certain dishes.

I stopped here on the way to Nevada because it was lunch time and I love Panda. I went inside real quick to use the restroom which was extremely clean and had a nice hotel feel. Due to my children being asleep in the car with my wife I went through the drive through. The worker who was managing the drive through was extremely helpful and nice. When I received my food he continued to be cheerful which was appreciative. I would have given this Panda 5 stars but when I did open my plate the servings for the meat were somewhat low. Usually at other Pandas the plate is overflowing with chicken or the other entree choices. I will always come back to this Panda when I drive through Susanville.

I usually enjoy Panda Express at least the ones I've been to in the Bay Area. Panda Express in Susanville is probably no different than any other except this time around the selection was poor. But the reason for that would probably be they just got through with a busy time. But I don't have the pleasure of eating lunch at the normal schedule that other people do I'm sure I'm not the only one that has a different schedule for lunch. I would have expected better from Panda Express. I'm going to go back to Susanville Panda Express again just to be fair and give them the benefit of doubt. 😎

They didn't have enough staff working. Trash cans overflowing, brown rice not cooked (crunchy), and veggies were raw. They gave us cooked veggies when we told them, but they had no solution for the rice.

Its a chain franchise so you gets what you gets. I will say for a corporate outfit the Susanville panda did taste fresher and better then other locations though. Good option if need to be on the go and don't want a belch burger from other fast food emporiums east of town. Try young sing up the street for a tastier dinner or lunch.

The sweet and sour chicken was way heavy on batter, light on chicken. Over done as well. Won't be ordering that again. The sides were fine, as always.

Nice change of pace for Susanville. Food was luke warm & a little greasy for my taste. However, honey walnut shrimp & mushroom chicken had great seasonings.

Hey I usually don't do this or make reviews but some of these pictures look beter than what I had, I had chow mein, super greens, and seseme honey breast chicken. The chow mein was on the hard end of the texture scale but it tasted pretty good all of it tasted great; but its just that the texture was off.Like the chicken it was super crunchy even though it was supposedly freshly made, and the broccoli was like it wasn't even cooked it was like it was just taken out of the package cut up and throughn right on the mix for super greens. All and all good taste bad texture. Would have been 5 stars if the texture was good.

I've worked In fastfood before for a good minute, so I get it when yall are slammed and your just trying to get everyone served so yall can clean the store and go home, but come on dude! Iv gone there so many times for yall to keep forgetting stuff on my order, this is getting ridiculous! I guess for a chain restaurant, it was fair. It wasn't worth the hype, at least not this location. Staff was friendly, main items lacked sauce, chow mein was pathetic. Beijing beef would be my only reason to return if I had no other option for a meal.

I typically like panda express however today was a completely different experience. We ordered in the drive thru they explained that the chow main would take 8 minutes and do we mind waiting. We did not. We waited approx. 15 minutes then we got our food and left. Everything was good and we were happy. I opened the bag to get a chicken egg roll out and with the exception of the chow main the rest of the food was cold. It seems like they put everything together and set it aside and the only thing that was even remotely warm was the chow main. I'm not a fan of cold fry food.

A terrible experience! First of all the food wasn't hot. Luke warm at best. We ordered two ice tea's and they had no ice. The guy told us that the drinks from the fountain was cold. NOT TRUE! Warm. The guy that took our order wasn't the least bit friendly.

Usually good food...however today's first bite was a huge piece of gristle and the chow main looked like they scraped out the bottom of the bowl.

Well we ordered the 3 menu item , first of all they had a list of what they didn't have ! Then our order had very little meat. Not WHAT WERE USE TOO from panda !! Normally it's so much food you have some left overs not here at this panda !! You could tell they were being skimpy !!!!

Arrived a half hour before closing but they shut down their lobby so we used the drive thru. We were the only customers yet service was slow and delayed. Our food was on the closer side to unfresh. My beef was much drier than other PE's. It felt like this store is phoning it in. I've experienced far better PE's.

On Friday I ordered KungPow Chicken with noodles in a bowl and Terriyakee chicken with fried rice at the drive thru but what I got was a bowl of just the tinest bit of KungPow chicken with fried rice and T Chicken with noodles. This is not unusual for the Susanville store and I'm tried of it.

The Worst Panda Express Ive been too. Food was old and dry. The only good thing about this restaurant was the service. Quite a disappointment after a long drive.

I'm gonna need ya'll to tell people if you're running out of food or something. I'm so tired of coming through your drive thru and getting barely a serving size of food one day and then an actual serving other times. And by the time I check, im already home. This is ridiculous.

My Sweetie and I were disappointed to have so few choices as they were out of all but 2 or 3 main dishes, none of which we wanted. The angus pepper beef which we both got was inedible with unappetizing flavor and tough to chew. We could only eat the rice & noodles and threw away the rest. We will choose somewhere else for a meal in Susanville next time.

I ordered the steak and shrimp for $1.25 more. What a rip off. 3 very tiny pieces of over cooked steak and 3 shrimp. A whole lot of potatoes. Will not be ordering that rip off again. May need to pass this disappointment around.

The service was particularly slow and upon choosing our food the cashier/food server was not very friendly and also threw an open soy sauce in my to go bag, upon opening the bag there was soy sauce everywhere and ruined my napkins, food containers. I will not be returning to this panda express.

Everytime we've gone in or through the drive, we have always gotten "we are not making anymore teriyaki chicken tonight" mind you this is 7pm to 7:30pm but your hours are closing at 10pm!! I've called and complained to management and has gotten no where, but they'll "get ahold of the store to find out what's going on". I would not recommend going here anymore simply because consumer service is a F!

I've been to a lot of panda Express and I love the food but this place was the worst one of them all. The food was old and the server tried to give it to me and then she said she has to get finish are old food first before we cook new food. I was like WOW. I will never come here again sorry panda Express.

My wife ordered broccoli & and beef and I had fire cracker chicken and egg rolls. The chicken was ok but my wife got a whopping 3 pieces of beef in hers and the egg rolls were very soggy. You guys need to cut back on the rice and chow mein and put a little more of the entrée in your meals.

Driving through Susanville with a trailer on 10/21/2022, dining room is closed. Called to ask if we could place an order and they bring it out to us. We were told no because they only have the drive thru register open. Not a great plan to have the dining room closed on a Friday evening in a town with a lot of people passing through with trailers. Boo on you Panda Express.

I have visited this location several times since it opened in susanville and cab count the times on one hand I haven't had an issue with the service, wait time, or food quality. Went though the drive thru originally. She interrupted us and put order in wrong. So decided to go inside to order. Someone else helped since first lady was doing drive thru. I agreed to wait for potstickers to cook so sat in lobby. Well waiting drive thru lady kept staring at me and hitting talk headset to talk to other lady and pointed and laughed at me. When I went to grab food they shoved food at me and asked about sauce then walked away. I love panda express but I can wait to go to Reno.

Went thru drive thru tonight. Ordered what was supposed to be orange chicken x2. Instead was either so burnt the chicken was gone or there was no chicken just burnt batter.

Good when they first opened and went to hell from there. The more young people working there worse they get. Today I never even got my whole order, I got to sit there and watch my wife eat waiting for my food for 30 minuets come to find out they never even started cooking to food they ran out of. It was my last trip there period.

They can not keep food properly stocked (when you run out of a main entree at 4pm and have no more to cook) and not the first or second time but fourth. That's bad buisness.

Desided to try again after the last bad experience. The last time I came here I went through the drive through ordered a premium item and leave seems all good but as soon as I get home to eat my premium item was not in the to go box. Had to return for it and was not pleased. This time around I ordered a bowl with orange chicken and I get home and there is barely any chicken. Very disappointed.

I drive through susanville all the time. I was so excited when they opened up Panda Express. Finally, on one of my trips I stopped in. I usually ever so convenient drive-thru. They attended was relatively rude, I'd say on a scale of 1 to 10 they were probably a rudeness level of six to eight. But what was highly disturbing, which I had never encountered, and I'm a big guy, and I eat a lot of Panda Express. What was highly disturbing was that they were out of chow mein, they were out of the majority of their entrees as well.

Chow mein is very dry, the broccoli and beef, almost no beef is ok at best . The chicken egg ¹rolls are dry and gross. For what you get and very poor quality of food and being expensive DONT BOTHER!!!! The Chinese restaurant in Alturas is worth the long drive.

Waited in line for over 20 minutes to then get to front and they were out of the item I needed. That was for a to go order. I also waited for a portion of my dine in order for almost a half hour and then had to go up and ask for it...understaffed!!!! The servers were working their backsides off and could not possibly keep all the customers happy. This has happened to me almost every time I visit this restaurant. I've not once gotten my entire order at one time!

Sooo disappointed. Panda Express is definitely one of my top places to eat, yet this experience was absolutely horrible. Broccoli beef was old, beef tasted sour, dry. The onions in the Angus entree was inedible. NO ICE for the sodas, no Dr Pepper. Waste of money.

Food was like warm. Flag ship dish, Orange Chicken, tasted like it had freezer burn and had been under heat lamps for over two hours. No brown rice! I guess Americans should get NIDDM type 2 anyways. Fire management!

I've recently developed a craving the past three months for panda and would often go on my breaks. Just this week I went in to receive the most rotten plate of panda express ive ever eaten. The veggies had a terrible grayish color and the food was not good at all. I will no longer be going.

Whenever I go to Susanville I get panda express I love the Orange chicken but the last 3 times the chicken is really hard and crunchy. Not just the small pieces all of it. I have eaten at other panda express and the orange chicken is not hard. I ordered and waited because they ran out so it was fresh won’t be back tired of wasting my money.

DON'T DO IT! NOT A GOOD PANDA!! We stopped in here while on our route and this is the slowest service for a panada that I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot of Panda's in the Pacific Northwest. We thought it would be a good idea because we were hungry. But we found ourselves waiting in line for 30 minutes, total BS. That's a large chunk of time that cut into our route, we were expecting it to only take maximum maybe 12 minutes or so. And then once we got to the counter and we're next in line to order, the worker made us wait an additional 10 minutes to focus on the drive through orders and not the customers right in front of her (us). If you know anything in customer service you always focus on the customer that is right in front of you first, not the one on your headset in the drive through. Food is not made fresh. The chow mein tasted as if it's been out for hours. They don't have wb

We arrived 40-50min before closing. Chairs were being put up as we walked in. Asked one of the servers if we could still dine in, he said for us to choose a booth. I had pts I wanted to redeemed, told me to scan it, I did and it didn’t even go thru once paid for and I looked at the receipt. Again, worker didn’t even bother telling me that it didn’t go thru. And the cherry on the topping was, I asked for small fountain drinks. His quick reply was; “our fountain machine is closed. You can choose any of the bottled products.” I rolled my eyes and we just left after. ZERO customer service. ZERO professionalism. Would NOT recommend. You’re better off getting little Caesar’s pizza or McDonald’s down the road. Lousy services.

Terrible service. They clearly take care of their online orders first. I stood in line for 10. Minutes before any ever said anything to me. "I was first in line" they just kept making online orders. Just give me a courtesy I will be right with you something. Food was just okay today. Order your food online if you want faster service I guess.

I've recently developed a craving the past three months for panda and would often go on my breaks. Just this week I went in to receive the most rotten plate of panda express ive ever eaten. The veggies had a terrible grayish color and the food was not good at all. I will no longer be going.

Whenever I go to Susanville I get panda express I love the Orange chicken but the last 3 times the chicken is really hard and crunchy. Not just the small pieces all of it. I have eaten at other panda express and the orange chicken is not hard. I ordered and waited because they ran out so it was fresh won’t be back tired of wasting my money.
