The best even cleanest waffle House I've ever been to also my service was expedient !

Hands down the best experience I've ever had at a Waffle House! The staff was absolutely wonderful and engaging. They had us laughing and made our delicious meals even more enjoyable.

Erica was our server and she was on point! Very thorough and kept us supplied with everything we needed! Food was great and atmosphere was very pleasant. It was packed as usual!

The service was great; very friendly, efficient staff.... and the food was even better! Hard to beat their pecan waffle! They have the best grits of anywhere I've ever been. Wish they'd add stevia sweetener, it's only thing I'd change!

Food was excellent. Service was prompt and friendly. Sometimes you find rather nutty people working at Waffle House, but our server was nice and competent.

We haven't been to a Waffle House in ages! (There was one on practically every corner when we were stationed in Mississippi.) It was as good as I remembered (and a thousand times better than the "free" breakfast in our hotel). 😁

We went in for breakfast after a doctor's appointment. I had the hash browns, she had a pecan waffle. Everything was delicious and hot. Service was quick and professional. The store was clean.

Let me tell you!!! My husband and I stopped in for breakfast 7/23/22 9am and Sat at the bar. While we waited for our food we had the pleasure of watching the manager and her team at work. There wasn’t an empty seat in the house and everyone was working their tail off as a TEAM!! Hands down the BEST service I’ve received in a while!!! Not only are they all friendly, greeting people as they come in the door, checking to make sure drinks were full at all times but the food was also delicious. Waffle House I truly hope you know what an exceptional team you have here! ☺️ P.S. give them a raise. 💵

They did an excellent job. Mary was really friendly and quick with the service. The food was cooked really well. It was sooo good I ate way more than I should've. You've gotta try the waffle with pecan if you haven't yet!! They are very much up to waffle house standards. Everything was really good.

The staff was more pleasant than I've experienced in a long time. They were moving with such urgency that I felt bad about even stopping them to ask for a togo plate. Such beautiful people.

Came around noon, not too busy, place was really clean. Excellent costumer service, our server was great! Taste of food was very very good! I know prices had gone up everywhere, this waffle house is not exception BUT with their good food and great service I gladly pay the extra $1-2 will definitely come back.

This is the BEST Waffle House I’ve ever been to! The place was so clean and the environment was so friendly and relaxing. The music was awesome, courtesy of DJ Ron, who was so friendly and had great R&B classics playing. The best part was our server, Coleen! She was THE BOMB. So sweet, on top of everything, and just the best personality. Our drinks never went empty and she brought every little thing we needed within ten seconds of asking. She was simply amazing. The entire staff was wonderful and I felt like a true guest in this Waffle House. I definitely recommend this place to everyone in Texarkana!!! I will DEFINITELY be back.

Went To The Waffle House On N StateLine, There Was A New Hostess,/Waitress. She Did An Amazing Job, Out Order Was Correct, She Was The Only Waitress Also. Texarkana has 2 waffle house locations just like the whataburger you have to figure out witch one is any good. This location is the batter of the 2.

Though it was early in the morning, and it was a party of 5. I'm still thankful for Waffle House being open. The servers were nice and friendly and definitely made sure that we got what we wanted. The food was great as usual, since this is my third waffle house I've been in, and I'm sticking to it. The atmosphere of the place we lively at the time we were there, and it made me feel like I was at home, chatting with the rest of my friends. I recommend going to a Waffle House to get that homey feeling and good food.

My husband and I, weary from travel stopped at this Waffle House expecting what everyone expects from a Waffle House; subpar bathrooms, sticky menus/floors/tables, and delicious greasy food. Boy were we disappointed! We thought for sure we had stepped into a parallel universe. The bathrooms were clean and fresh. The tables? NOT STICKY! And neither were the menus?! AND THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY! Food was fantastic, exactly what you expect from a Waffle House. I’m 1000% sure this place was a government plant and not a real Waffle House.

We stopped here on our way through Texarkana, because my son has been dieing to try Waffle House. I have to say, this is the nicest and cleanest Waffle House I've ever been in. The bathrooms look newly renovated, and are super clean. Our server was Michael, and I have nothing but great things to say about him. He was great, nice, and he made sure we had everything we needed the entire time we were there. He was also very thorough with our order so that he didn't get anything wrong. Michael was also super entertaining. He told us a couple of jokes, and we enjoyed some great conversation over our meal. I can't say enough about how awesome it was to have a server like this. The food was great as well. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. Y'all have definitely made my son a fan of Waffle House.

This is my favorite local waffle House here Texarkana Arkansas side. I probably eaten 40 meals here the past year and the staff is why I keep coming back. The service is always quick, with a smile and the food is consistent. Tonight is Valentine's Day and what a neat surprise they actually have the tables decorated with roses flowers and all the men are wearing pink shirts. Nice little flair for a holiday. I'll miss this location when I move away. I am my waffle House fan as I travel and I would say 90% of the time I can always get a good consistent meal.

Zy is extremely nice and very welcoming. She paid attention to what I wanted, read my order back and assured everything was fresh and hot. She is an exceptional employee! Kudos to Zy.

I've been to many Waffle Houses over the years and most are nothing worth mentioning. Usually just a few employees that care just enough for it to not be a bad experience. This place was different. The staff were all on top of it and worked well together. The food was still what you would expect, but thats a good thing. I just wanted to give credit for a well managed staff.

The new night policy is not the best way to serve the community however, understood from a safety perspective. There needs to be consistency with the process with all workers to ensure 5 service is given at all times despite the uncomfortable feeling.

On a Wild Hair Road trip I made my first Waffle House visit. I loved the eclectic crowd at the late hour. The waffles were wonderful... sweet, moist, ready for the butter and syrup. The eggs were fluffy and expertly prepped. SKYLAR was my server and she's a lovely lady. Her peers were helpful and respectful. I dig this joint!!☺️

Just got off work at 2am, couldn't bear having to eat another burger, so i pulled into Waffle House. The staff is extremely friendly, server took my order, made my order, to go. I got a chocolate chip waffle and a regular waffle for brunch. As always the food was hot, delicious, and reasonably priced. I believe this will be my regular stop after work,l. Its so much better than the drive through at Whataburger.

We came here after being told that the Waffle house we previously visited wasn't taking orders. The only issue was that they were supposed to text when the food was ready, but they didn't. After we had been waiting for a quite a bit of time, my husband went back to the window and inquired about our order. They told him that their paging system wasn't working, but they said that the security guard came out and was telling people their order was ready. We watched him go to 1 or 2 cars then go back inside. He never came to our vehicle which was across the parkingg lot (behind one of the cars he went to). Other than that, they were nice and the food was good.

This was my first time goin to Waffle House. And I Say the Selection was Slim I Excepted more & Better Quality. When My husband Got his Order He Had Literally 2 Tablespoons of Eggs on his plate I wanted him to Say Something Cause Usually he would But He just Gave The Waiter A Shorter Tip. Not Impress Maybe It was just This Location

The Waffle was good, so was the sausage. the coffee...not so much. Service was satisfactory. this was only the second time to this chain. i have a coworker who loves Waffle House and i am the only one who'll go with him.

The food was great. Employees arguing wasn't so nice. morning shift needs to be more patient with night shift about them getting certain cleaning jobs done. When you come on to your shift, you have no idea how busy your fellow employees have been. Be patient they'll get to it.

Typical Waffle house. Food was good. Got the smothered hash browns. Now if we were grading by the belching me and my friend were doing after the meal it'd be 5 stars. Me and her were letting out wall shakers. We definitely had gas from the food

It's waffle house... Crew was friendly, but could tell the motivation was lacking. Most tables were not bussed, as if to force people to the high top bar area we did ask to sit at the lower counter and they cleaned up the area however the 3 adjacent booths remained unbussed during our visit. The crew was super friendly and entertained our idle chit chat and questions.

Typical waffle house, with a sign on the wall letting everyone know that swearing isn't allowed in the establishment. That's how you know you're in a classy joint. When they have to post a sign like that. The food was average waffle house fare. The stop for breakfast served its purpose, which was to show our exchange student from Spain the waffle house, which she for some reason wanted to experience.

My first Waffle House experience. It's what I expected, easy to prepare breakfast meals and a kitchen and crew geared toward that end. Nothing fancy. Just the basics. The coffee was good and the staff was friendly enough for a diner. The WH is clean enough for the volume of customers they have. I wouldn't go there expecting much more than what it is, a 24 hour, small diner.

We had made our order and was waiting on it when a man and his wife came in about 15 minutes after us and had order what we had order. So when ours was done they gave to the couple that came in after us. It seemed as thought the couple must have been there several times by the way the waitress talked with them. It was just wrong that they gave our order to them to keep them coming back and not having to wait. We got our food first waffles then a few minutes later got one plate with eggs and hashbrowns. Then we got bacon and sausage and finally after about 7 to 8 minutes we got the second plate whit eggs and hashnrowns. We got nothing together like the other couple did.

Love Waffle House and was excited to try out the new build on state line. We couldn’t because they only do TO GO after 11 pm??? We couldn’t go in an eat. So now we’re headed to ihop. BUMMER!

Waffle House is pretty standard everywhere, but not here. The cook should have at least cleaned the grill before putting hashbrowns on it. Just a little scrape so they aren't full of disgusting leftover grease and food bits. The eggs were beyond overcooked and brown and crispy on the bottom. The server was pleasant. Bathroom was clean. Table was sticky and not cleaned well. So hit and miss.

I went this morning for breakfast and received great customer service from the waitress but poor service from cooking staff. They don't sanitize often or properly and don't listen. Oh, wow. Never thought I could get such poor service. Our food was cold and the environment was freezing. FYI...if you like to dine in the morning and it's raining DON'T go to Waffle House, because you will freeze. We didn't enjoy and received half off the bill. They a least took half off but as for me NO MORE WAFFLE HOUSE on STATELINE in Texarkana.

Imagine going to Waffle House at 11:00 on a Saturday night — prime Waffle House hours — and being told by a security guard that it’s take-out only. I thought being open all night was literally their thing. Confused, disappointed, and still waffle-less.

Wish I could leave less stars... was staying across the st. At the hotel decided to come get food Saturday morning and had the worst experience ever had to get up and go behind the bar to get my own hot sauce and could not get a glass of tea to save my life the waiter forgot my waffle when mentioned she threw it on the table in a to-go box as to say you can leave now

I ate at state line waffle House tonight and it was worst service I've ever had in my entire life plus there were plenty of staff members working but there wasn't a clean table in the whole place. Maybe they should hire a bus boy cause it was horrible. Plus we must have sit there for over an hour before we ever got our food. And waited at least twenty minutes before anyone even came and took our order. Like I said it was worst service I've ever seen in my life. Horrible horrible experience all around

If you want to eat in a roach infested establishment full of attitudes and a security who makes you feel like your doing something then this is the place for you. Ordered my food started eating and noticed 3 small roaches in the Cook area!! The waitress admitted it and when I spoke to the manager she flat out lied.

It was awful grits were ice cold hashbrowns and eggs were cold omelet was half cooked and waffle wasn't even warm enough to melt the butter. I will not be going back to this location. And on top of the awful food the waitress rushed us to order as soon as we sat done and brought the ticket with the food as if she was saying eat and leave and don't other anything else.

Nastiest waffles in town... and looked like someone had blew their nose and snot all over the silverware and left it to dry for a few days. One of the cooks appeared to be sick and was coughing and blowing his nose constantly. Other than that the service was amazing. We just paid for our uneaten food and politely left the establishment.

This should be a no star review! The food was good it was a particular server that ruined mine, my husbands, and our friends experience. We all didn’t mind sitting at separate tables for the fact of their booths are small. The waitress that was assigned to serve our friends completely ignored the fact that they were sitting there waiting to order! And they were sitting down at their table at least 5 minutes before we sat down. The only difference between us and our friends was we were younger and had a white waiter and our friends were older and the server for their table was a young black woman. She ignored them for over 20 minutes! Our friends decided to leave and go somewhere else and as they were leaving the waitress proceeds to smile at them and just laugh. Basically because our friends were older and white they young black waitress didn’t serve them.

Not clean, the workers were very un-attentive. They paid more attention to previous customers that had been there waiting for a while using profanity and to then they gave me and my husband order to the people they were talking too and the order was paid for. If you see a goofy looking African American young lady turn and go the other way.

The waitress did not get my order correct and all she wanted to do was look at her phone. I told her that I wanted everything w/gravy chill and onion All I was a dry Bacon egg and hash brown It damn sure wasn't worth the $9.xx worth of food. When I refuse to tip, she cussed me.

For it to be open 24 hours a day , they did not provide services. It was 4:30 am ( yes I know early) but was motioned to leave through the window.

Not that great. The food is edible at best & the service is lousy. I waited 20 minutes after being promptly served drinks for the server to return to take our order. I tried to tell them we were ready to order, but they walked away as though they could not hear. There was a moderate stream of people picking up to-go orders, and I didn't keep a hawkeye on the server, but everytime that I did look that way, they had their head down looking busy. Doing what? I don't know...

1 star because we were driving through the night, taking turns and made a plan to get to Texas and go to a Waffle House. Well, they decided recently I guess to only allow takeout until 6am. What a stupid idea. It’s after 5am and we cannot go in and eat and have coffee. Nope, never going to a Waffle House again!

Pulled into the parking lot with a 20ft truck pulling a 20ft trailer and parked in the only area that we could fit. It allowed full function of the drive with no hindrance. We were informed by security that management said we couldn't park there. There was no attempt to tell us where else we could park. Management never spoke a word to my brother or myself. Very poor experience! We eat waffle house 3-5 times per week, breakfast lunch or dinner in Little Rock, AR and we've never been treated this way.

Yeah, open 24 hours is very misleading. I commute an hour to work everyday. I stopped in to enjoy breakfast early, only to find out it's takeout only from 12-6am. 🙄 I was very disappointed, seeing how I had to be at work at 6am. Who wants a cold breakfast? Do better Waffle House.

Went in and sat down. Was given the menu and the young lady took our drink order. They were behind a few orders so we patiently waited. We still had our menus so they knew we had not ordered. 30 minutes later still no order. No one even checked on us to refill our drinks. So we left.

Extremely Disappointing! Treated Like We Didn’t Exist We came into the Waffle House in Texarkana after a long night of traveling, exhausted and hungry. I’m on crutches but we stood there waiting, and when we finally managed to sit down at a dirty table near the waffle bar, things only got worse. The waiter never made eye contact, never greeted us, and acted like we simply weren’t there. We sat there for 15 more minutes, completely ignored, while the mess from the last group still sat on the table. No menus, no water, not even a “be right with you.” Eventually, we just left. It’s really unfortunate because Waffle House is usually one of our favorite places to stop on the road - usually dependable, welcoming, and friendly. But this location made us feel invisible and unwelcome. Totally unacceptable service!!!

I placed an order online and went to pick up my food and they told me someone already picked that up. I said Kristian with a K and they told me yea. The manager asked me my name and I showed him my order on the phone. They said they would make my food again and it will be quick. I went to my truck and saw the manager come back out looking for me, I got out and he was asking the same questions again. Now I'm starting to get pissed, not only did they give my food away to some imposter, they are insinuating that I sent someone in there to get it. I told them something has to be wrong with their online system OLO, there is no way someone would randomly come in with my name unless there is some kind of backdoor vulnerability. I even pre-tipped which pissed me off further because why am I tipping for carry out?! These companies charge too much for their food, have janky websites, and horrible customer service. They actually did me a favor, I need to stop being lazy and cook my own Saturday morning breakfast for a fraction of the price. Once everyone wakes up to this ALL these companies will suffer, and if the jobs go with it so be it. P. S. The manager probably still thinks in his mind, I was trying to get over. I can provide screenshots where I paid, did he ask the other person for that info? I will never return.
