food here is pretty good. I would come here on lunch break when I worked in Wappingers

I like their food and think it's the best place in Wappingers. However, their prices have gotten very expensive. They are 20% higher than other Chinese rest. in the area.

Same old Chinese take out place. I give 4 stars for food because compared to others, it is slightly better. The owners are nice and they can speak English fairly well. Why are all these places the same? Same menu, same decor, same photos of chicken with broccoli and the Great Wall of China. Will any of them ever serve truly good, fresh food, instead of frozen processed chicken that has more batter than chicken? They serve a purpose I guess.

This place used to be really good, however the last couple of times it has fallen short, tonight we hit the chicken wings, no taste at all ans fried rice was terrible...

In my opinion the only thing that this place has going for it is that they are fast. I'll be honest, I really didn't care for their food. I've had better. Way better.

The food use to be really good but I order chicken wings with friend rice and I ate some of the rice and I couldn’t digest it and it came back up. I was done before because I would get sick off the rice but now I will never go back here. The wings were ok and I have amhad much better. The egg roll again was ok. The last that works there very friendly but the taste of the food to me went down hill and the rice I couldn’t digest

Rice is good. The general tso's is absolutely horrible. Not even my dogs will eat it. Such a let down. Update: still terrible Update: 2025 wish I had read my own review. Its absolutely disgusting, also took over and hr to arrive and was cold.

I wouldn't go back to this place. Their ad states that they provide the option of Dining In. If u live in the North Pole, this would be a good option, because they provide No heat. We nearly froze! Decided to give it another shot. After discovering none of the restaurants around even know what general tso's chicken was figured I'd try something else. Chicken chow mein? That's what I ordered. No idea what this is. The fried rice tastes burnt. It honestly shocks me how there are no quality Chinese restaurants around. I make better "Chinese" myself. There's almost no chicken in this, just cabbage and goo... taste is bad, not chow mein and not.

Screw this place. Ordered abunch of food, every meal was ice cold . The wait time was over 1 hour for the food. The egg rolls was so greasy . And the place was dirty . Terrible service. I ordered a basic General Tso combo and it took over an hour to deliver and was completely cold. Not to mention, I was forced to give a 15% tip for terrible service, not including the service fee for ordering online plus a delivery fee. Absolutely terrible, will never order from them again

I had a very bad experience tonight. I ordered a half of chicken and chicken fried rice. My chicken was black like it has been fried numerous times. The chicken was dry and my rice was hard. I don't think i will order that again.

But our experience tonight was inexcusable.We had the meal delivered as usual. The 2 appetizers were fine, very greasy but still okay. The 2 other dishes were incredibly bad and not edible. Chow Fun Noodles with Beef was in a sauce (not typical to say the least). We're willing to try it but there were some ingredients in this dish that were rancid. Just a foul taste. The Green Beans Szechuan style were lightly cooked green beans covered a very sweet, not spicy, VERY rancid tasting sauce. I asked to make sure to include rice please. They included a large white rice charged for it at a VERY HIGH PRICE. More than for one of the dishes!! I didn't ask for it I just wanted to make sure there was a small white rice for the green beans. The slap in the face when, for the first time in over 10 years I called to tell them about the food. OMG! They were SO RUDE and dismissive. They said they can't do anything unless I brought the food back to them tonight!!!! "How do we know you didn't eat it?""was what she said. Unbelievable. I said of course we tasted it and found out it was rancid.After being a customer for so long we are so angry and disappointed. Do yourself a favor not order from this restaurant. Not only are they serving horrible rancid food they are accusing us of eating the food because I didn't feel like getting in the car and returning it. I just might do that because we are really upset.

We used to order from First Wok pretty regularly, but I can assure you tonight was the last time. Very disappointing.

I had a very bad experience tonight. I ordered a half of chicken and chicken fried rice. My chicken was black like it has been fried numerous times. The chicken was dry and my rice was hard. I don't think i will order that again.
