Well El pollo Loco is always tops ... Not because I'm Hispanic but Because they do a fine job always.(standard procedure) and although some stablishments are doing now the beny Hana on their pcs. So it looks more..... Chop chop and then more chop chop.... Instead of having healthy whole pcs. Which is the way our parents and grandparents and great grandparents have always served them in plates so colorfull with the beans and rice and nic nocs and what not...( Treamins the Latino awesome way) for I'm traditional (to the bone) and it dilutes the traditional way ..by which is I shall say the cornerstone of Mex. Tradition and I think it's scandlees chip and a lame trick to make u think is more so therefore they raise the price cose wow you get more which u don't. And I say stop chopping the essence of the delicious sinaloense tradition...... People..... It's not orange chicken or terillaky chiken it's darn pollo asado Al estilo sinaloa. Get it Got it (???) Good...ok! And it's not the first time it comes to my attention ok ... There it is.....see the whole chacha with sinaloense chicken is to grab the fingirliking darn pollo with your own deditos is just that .... It's a darn tradition get it through your diluted production way of doing things.. and people it is pollo the mex. Another sweet spot when you are in need, the staff was friendly, bathroom was clean, food was hot and delicious, barely had to wait a few minutes fired my meal!!! Conveniently located in the corner on this busy street, l took leftovers home, plenty of food!! I sat at the table inside, in the sun, was very quiet and lovely, perfect after working a ten hr shift, lovely afternoon spot, great afternoon sun at this location, was highly decompressing definitely recommending this location

Without a doubt the best Pollo Loco I've ever visited in SOCAL. I had the Pollo Bowl which is my go to budget meal. Most Pollo Loco restaurants I've visited slap the bowl together as it is a value meal. Not here. The bowl was a bit larger than other restaurants. The beans and rice were not soggy. The chicken was a decent portion and most importantly ot was evident that that bowl was prepared with detail and caring. The cilantro, onion, and chicken where neatly place on the bowl giving an inviting presentation. And it was delicious. Thank for a wonderful meal.

Friendly, but it's 6pm I've been in drive through 30 minutes. This is the slowest drive-thru in TOWN. I try to avoid this one. At least the food is good. They need helpers!

Not the cleanest EPL I've been to but I love the chicken. This one is at a very busy intersection so usually pretty busy and it doesn't help that it's a small location.

The food is great, but the costumer services is very bad and the restaurant remains too dirty. And the homeless get in for take sauces, ice and some drink with them body all dirty.

Employees not friendly, you're treated as a Number. Food tastes like all fast food, no fresh cooked taste.

Sub par service at the window and the cheese on my salad when i asked for no cheese to begin with, not cool. No greeting, no hello, no smile. All the basics of customer service was not taught to the girl at the window. First thing out of her mouth was "do you need a cup holder?" with a very serious look- a not so friendly look. As for the cheese found on my salads, 4 tostada salads, $35 later, some cheese found on them. Not happy. Not everyone loves cheese.. 2nd time giving this Pollo Loco the benefit of the doubt, but after this I'll start driving to the new location on Avalon.

Went there for lunch with a friend and we both ordered a Tostada Salad (to go). She ordered the one with shrimp. We specifically told the cashier about my shrimp allergy so that they be careful when preparing our food. They called our number (28 minutes later), we picked up our food, and on our way back to the car we decided to check the bag. BOTH Tostadas had shrimp. Someone must have wanted to send me to the Hospital.

My chicken sat on plates for 5 minutes. Orders were going out but my chicken stayed on their serving counter. Just took longer than needed. There were no lids or straws stocked. There was trash and food on the restaurant floor.

They always leave something out of your order. No cheesy quesadillas with my my family meal. Didn't have time to go back once I got home. Not the first time this has happened.

The drive thru was long, so I decided going in store to order. Turns out it would be the same, the person in front of me had a long order, totaling about $100+. Instead of giving my order first, which was just the 14 pc meal which the guy also ordered (so the staff could’ve just gave me that and get another one after), I had to wait more than 20 minutes, uhhh such a waste of time. I suggest just going to the drive thru then. The staff was nice but they don’t understand that not all customers have the time to wait and they should prioritize small orders if they can, specially if they have a similar order to the large order, just give that to the small order and fill in later on to the large order while other things from it is being made.

Got the new shredded beef burrito no beans or sour cream took forever slow service my number was 369 and they passed me up they were serving number up to 375 had to ask twice where my order was finally got it cut it open had beans and sour cream took it back told Mgr on duty not very friendly made me another burrito was half the meat from my first burrito where's the beef more lettuce and rice felt rip off

I order from Uber eats and never get my dressing for my salad there's always something missing on the orders

When we went to buy food at this location on the register there was a lot of small cockroaches running all over the counter. The chicken was so burn like ashes and dry it felt is some other day chicken. This location is not sanitary at all and not great service. What a let down.

This place is not as fast, the chicken is always burn and not juicy Always missing item and the salsa bar is always messy and low on salsa They take for ever to hand out your order I feels like hours until you have your order . Customer always leaving or asking for there refund because of how much time they have to wait . Better to find a different location where there service is at point .

For not being very busy they sure are very slow. Customer service isn't the best. I asked for chicken on the side not on my salad. The cashier got it right but the food prep didn't. I also got a cap from the sour cream on my salad.

I usually eat here for lunch during the week but yesterday 11/8/2017 I ordered a tostada salad to go and when I got back to work there was a fly in it! I ordered chicken quesadillas and the chicken was all burned, i have gone to many el pollo loco restaurant and i have never had such a bad experience as this one. It sucks that it is the closest to my house but my fam and i will not come here anymore.

Their drive thru was extremely slow. It took me more than 30 mins to wait for my order. I had to go inside to wait for my food since it wasn't ready by the time I ordered. They were out of crunchy tacos too so that also didn't make it a good day to go to this location.

Cashier was nice but woman preparing the food was rude and did not give us any salsa. She spoke to use rudely and even though she saw us waiting to ask her for sauce she ignored us. She was wearing a head piece so probably a manager or supervisor. Also did not give us the chicken for a our salads. Never returning.

Drive-thru customers beware. This is the 2nd TIME that el pollo has gotten my order wrong. Drive thru employee was rude and couldn’t care less about our order. We ordered a three piece meal with broccoli and mashed potatoes. I got home and found out that they only gave us a two piece meal with mashed potatoes but no broccoli. They couldn’t even give us the correct order since we ordered a three piece chicken meal and got only two pieces and no broccoli. Tried calling but they never picked up. I remember when el pollo loco was a respectable franchise. If you want to eat here, try another location because the staff here need retraining.

This was the 1st ever issue with the Wilmington, Ca location...I've always brought home a great meal for my family...but, the food I got served yesterday was Atrocious! The restaurant was only open 20 mins and I'm served BURNT Chicken.. Totally BURNT and rice that probably only cooked 7 mins! It was honestly raw.. I just can't believe they could serve me food like that!

I ordered the $5 Taco combo with chips and a drink. And one leg. For here. My receipt had Avocado tacos and no leg was on the receipt. My order was called. They had it to go. The tacos were the wrong ones. I told the lady. But i said ok I won't trip I'll just eat it. So I unwrap the tacos avocados were Brown. I took it back. So they redo my order. This time it was the platter. Which I didn't want. I said what about my chicken leg. The lady said I'll bring it to your table. That never happened. Only thing that was right was my drink. And that is because I got it myself. I won't ever come back again. I am going to let her know she forgot to bring my leg to the table... terrible customer service. She probably wanted me to forget about the leg...

Bad service today by Edgar and Roxana i need to speak to your supervisor. This location was empty with only 1 customer i dined in for 25 minutes and there was 16 people total because i was attracting customers to your business unlike the bad service i received from Edgar over a soft drink cup Roxana didn't give me after i paid retrain these adults or fire them apparently Edgar doesn't need the job

I ordered a family meal with flour tortillas, salsa, creamy cilantro, and two churros. I got the family meal and checked my food. Flour tortillas were corn tortillas so I asked for the exchange and reminded them about the salsa and sauce. I got the tortillas and the sauce, no salsa. I asked for the salsa and got the salsa. 5min I spent at the window only to come home and realize they didn't put in the churros and the chicken was burnt. I tried calling immediately after I realized and the phone just kept ringing...twice I called, no response or message machine.

There is always something wrong. This is the closest location I been there only 2 times. The 1st time they make me wait 10 minutes to exchange the tortillas because the ones they give me with my order were cold. The second time I waited 25 minutes for my order. Isn't this place a fast food restaurant. 🤬

I work in the area - love Pollo Loco in general - but this location's drive thru experience is horrible. Three times I have gotten my order wrong. Asked for Taco Salad, no rice 3 times and cashier repeated it - I got rice. Other times, I ask for their red house salsa and cilantro - I got avocado salsa and the pepita cilantro dressing, etc. To actually get my order right - I need to walk in and get my own condiments apparently. Plus the chicken is really dry and overcooked and small portions on the two piece - the chicken are tiny! Maybe overcooked? I don't know - but I will stick with Pollo Loco in Carson thank you.

Came here today during my lunch on 2/4/26 and went through the drive through. There were only 4 cars ahead and took over 30 min just to take my simple order of a salad and drink. Good food but the service is horrible...

Was literally ignored at drive thru trying to get there attention because they forgot my extra sauce and I know I saw them look towards the window multiple times first off all those extra sauces weren’t free so this point they are trying to steel from customer now ? I love Pollo Loco but this location is just trash. The workers there really dont care about you or your order just whatever they can do to get you out. Had a worker tell me there was no more corn tortillas then immediately went to the back to grab some for another order. We watched people come order and leave while we waited for my online order which we placed well before arriving. When we asked to change the tortillas he gave attitude. I have had negative experiences here before and if you do some simple scrolling on this review page you'll see there are quite few people who would agree with me.

Then I asked another question and the guy behind the counter does something on his side to fix my order. Still had no idea how to fix it. He also gave attitude. This is far the worse one I ever went to. When I tell you my soup was full of burnt skin and bones. It had no flavor. My chicken wings were crunchy and hard just dried. . I will never stop here again. Don't waste your money. This is my Second visit my first one was bad but this one takes the case. Especially when you sick and you know the soup is good.
