Being Nepali, I had to check out Momo Crave. This place has multiple momo varieties, including this Nepali-Mexican fusion taco momo. Although it’s not based on 100% authentic Mexican tacos, and also being skeptical of this fusion at first, the flavors surprisingly work well.

Hands down some of the best momo I have ever tasted. I recommend the tandoori momo. Well seasoned, well cooked and very juicy. 10/10 Only thing I would say is that the dumplings themselves seemed machine wrapped which takes away the authenticity a little but the taste absolutely makes up for it.

These momos are out of this world! My absolute favorites are the Chicken Tandoori Momos and the Chicken Chilly Momos — but the real showstopper is the Chaat Momos. Truly unbeatable!

A gem of a place to satiate the momo cravings. In fact, all the dishes are outstanding to say the least.

This is absolutely the bomb featuring soup dumplings and momos (which we had). Great food and reasonably priced.

Really nice place with a cozy vibe! Kinda gives off that Himalayan café feel — if you’ve been to Nepal, you’ll totally get what I mean with the big glass windows and the warm lighting. The staff seemed super authentic Nepali too, both in how they talked and acted, which was a nice touch. Food was good! I’d say go for the beef (yes they are halal) options if you’re into meat — the chicken momos were okay but had more veggies than chicken. Loved the Thai Soup Momo (gave off a bit of a butter chicken vibe) and of course, the Chilli Momos are always a win. Bonus points for the super clean washrooms — seriously, top-notch. Overall, I’d give it an 8.5/10. Great spot, just a little pricey for students.

Really good Momo that’s halal. Ordered the taco momo & tandoori Momo with the chicken fried rice and mango lassi. Mango lassi was definitely made correctly and not watered down!

We were craving some Momo's. Looked around for some places, and Momo crave came up. Decided to give it a try. The momo's were delicious. Most of the time, at other places, the momo are overloaded with ginger. Momo craved, momo tasted delicious. We got tandoori mom which had good smokiness. We also got chili momo, which was good and spicy. They have plenty of vegetarian options. We would visit again to try different momo.

I come here very often and for a few years now. All the momos here are packed with flavor. They're all good. The spicy sauces can give a kick. My favorite is the chili momo. They added a new soup- the Thai soup momo and it's Thai coconut with the steamed momo. Tased very good as well. The artwork around the shop is fun and creative. Definitely look around. I felt like the portions have gotten smaller since it took more Momos to make me full and the flavor has been adjusted somewhat. Hope it doesn't stray too far from what made this place great

This is simply one of the best restaurants in all of NYC! The momos are incredible, the service is fast and friendly. Since they expanded to the neighboring space there is also more space to sit down. We regularly come here even though it takes a while to get there, it is always so worth it.

Jackson Heights is the capital of momos, the Tibetan dumplings. Momo Crave is on the fringe of it, just 2-3 blocks away, on the other side of BQE. The exterior is very unassuming, but it does have a nicely made signage. The interior is pleasant, with small tables along the perimeter, leaving the center of the space unobstructed. Good feng-shui I might say. Walls are decorated with random framed posters and art, some are rather whimsical. The bathroom sign says "Pee Pee Room". Yes, someone has a sense of humor indeed. This being a fusion restaurant, the menu is fun and interesting; but simple and not overwhelming at the same time because it specializes on momos. And all of them are very affordably priced, come with 8 pieces. You really can't go wrong with any. You order and pay at the counter first, and they bring the dishes to your table. Here were our orders (PS. the menu prices are cash prices. The prices reference below are credit card prices): Chilli Momo $12.47. The momos are in their traditional dumpling form, fried I believe, and coated with chilli sauce. Sauce wasn't very spicy, a bit tangy and felt a bit heavy. Good. Tandoori Momo $12.47. Round momos on skewers. This is a nice fun take on momos. Also good. Thai Soup Momo $11.99. Momos are shaped like the Chinese soup dumplings and served over Thai curry soup. This was my favorite. The fragrance of lemongrass accentuated the dish, and the light curry provided the abundance of moist for every bite. There is no question that we will be back to try the rest of their many other takes on momos.

Food was amazing. Had the sweet n sour chicken soup, beef tacos, and chicken tandori. All tasted great service was very friendly, and the place was really nicely decorated and clean. Hey people, clean up your table after you eat. When you order at a counter that's what you do. #class

If you are craving momo, momo crave is the place! Delicious momo with warm and inviting ambiance. We got jhol, tandoori and chili momo and they had authentic flavor. It was a delightful journey of culture and flavor.

Halal Momo place with good variety. For our first time we tried a few of the dishes including the Jhol (soup on side for kids), Tandoori, chaat, kothey, fried momo and shrip fried rice. The food was very good and fresh. Not having much experienced other than with regular momos, the thing that struck out was that the flavor was not uniform. One bite could be slightly bland and the other bite would be very strong with some flavor like ginger kicking in. While we enjoyed everything, will likely be back to focus on chaat and tandoori as they really stood out!

Got the chicken tandoori Momos, 8 pieces for around $11. They tasted great. Also got the chicken kathi roll for $7.5, good enough quantity for one person, that was nice too. It is a small space, but good vibes and service.

Momo Crave is a Nepali fast-food restaurant in Queens. If you’re craving momos, just head to the Jackson Heights neighborhood of Queens. just off the 7 train on the border of Woodside and Jackson Heights, Queens No other area in NYC boasts such a strong concentration of restaurants, cafes, and food trucks selling Tibetan and Himalayan cuisine. The restaurant specializes in Momos, a popular type of dumplings in the Himalayas, as well as Nepali masala tea and coffee. We ordered- * Chicken Jhol Momo & * Chicken Chilli Momo Both dishes were too good. Mix of meat with spices and veggies, steams, and then saute with sauce. I recommend their Jhol momo for sure. I would suggest, avoiding ordering noddles, wings, or drumsticks - they were overcooked, deep deep fried, and not at all tasty- we did not like it all and asked the owner about replacing it with another momo which they did, so I would count their service great. Ambiance - it's good, with a couple of good paintings and cool decor. Note: The neighborhood hosts the biggest Himalayan food and cultural festival in September, giving visitors a taste of some of Jackson Heights’ best Tibetan, Nepalese, and South Asian restaurants at the annual Momo Crawl With over 25 momo vendors in and around the area

Second place in Jackson heights I’ve tried momos. They were good. The place is more of a quick eat and go or take out.

The receptionist sounded very cold and the floor was also dirty. We werent given instructions to throw the disposable plates into the trash, so we were waiting until someone came up to clean the table. The steam momo wasnt great, neither was the achaar. The tandoori momo and chaat momo were delicious though.

This place was good. We ordered Chicken Tandoori Momos and a Chicken Kathi Roll. The momos were tasty, but the kathi roll was just okay—the bread wasn’t cooked properly. If the bread was crispier, it would have tasted much better.

Decent food but not the best momos in town. The jhol was too tangy and peanuty and Cold! The chowmein was great. The tandoor momos were decent. The chicken chilli had an aftertaste of chicken.

First time visiting and unfortunately not a good experience. We walked in, the place was pretty empty, and we were seated right away for a table of two. We waited around 10–15 minutes expecting someone to come take our order, but no one acknowledged us or explained how ordering works. Eventually, I noticed other customers placing orders at the counter. Since it was our first time, we genuinely had no idea that was the process. A simple heads-up or basic communication from the staff would have made a big difference. Customer service felt completely absent, and because of that, we decided to leave without ordering. Disappointing experience.

VEGETARIANS BEWARE! I can’t believe how a business can serve the wrong food and then blame the customer for it. After being a vegetarian my entire life, I know the difference between chicken and soya yet I was told I was wrong after being served non-veg momos by mistake. If you love what you do, own your error. Apologize. FIX IT. LEARN FROM IT. Don’t gaslight your customers and tell them they can’t trust their own senses. I’ve been a loyal customer for nearly four years, and I stayed quiet the first time it happened, my mistake. But not anymore. Please do better. Take responsibility, and stop blaming the people who support your business. This isn’t just careless, it’s disrespectful. Shame on you.

VEGETARIANS BE EXTRA CAREFUL!!! Have been going to this place for a while now. I usually spend $50-100 every time I visit. I always tell them multiple times that l am a vegetarian. Took a take out today, got it for my parents who are pure vegetarians like me, they ended up having chicken momos because someone decided to not take their job seriously. NEVER COMING BACK HERE!!!
