Look, show this place some love but keep it between you and your loved ones okay? We don’t want shitty social media bums ruining a good thing yet again in NY. I mean you see so many good spots you love and can’t get in no more. But you know, this spot, is a bit of a hidden gem anyway. Very easy for folks to miss them and maybe that’s good for the rest of us. We dined on Sunday morning and When you come in you’re greeted with a smile and a warm hello. The space was a classic cozy diner and spotlessly clean. You sit yourself if it isn’t too busy or wait for the waiter, be kind. We sat and saw they had a lot of to go orders and we were lucky we got there it wasn’t too busy yet. It did get busy an hour in. Our food was made fast and honestly it was really good. We even got a Nutella + Chocolate Chip Pancakes after our meal cause I was in love. I grew up in Queens and eating in small diners like this is nostalgic for me. I was in search of a good one and I’m glad to say, I found a good one. Get the fresh squeeze orange juice, our amazing server said it’s sweet and not too tart, it’s perfect and she was right. Anyways, in short you should go, eat and tip them. No it ain’t bougie but they cook good and take care of you. That’s fine dining
There are very few true classic New York diners left, and this is one of them. If you want to immerse yourself in a tine capsule, come here. I just came back from breakfast there, the first time since before Covid, and my eggs and rye toast with crispy home fries were exactly as I remembered. I first came here in the 1980s and it still looks the same - clean and sharp with shiny aluminum and Art Deco details, and the sparkly vinyl booth benches. This place has nothing to prove. It is simple good classic diner food, plus of course Spanish entrees. Sure, eggs & bacon are no longer $1.85 (12.99 in fact), but that's a normal price anywhere today. Cone by, support the place and have some good grub.
This literally is a tiny hidden gem me & hubs stumbled upon it on a Sunday morning the breakfast was awesome..as well as very clean & pleasant waitress
Great Little Spot!! Breakfast food was delicious and cooked just as requested. Staff was friendly and the service was great. Defineitely don't overlook this spot. Worth a stop!
Came here with my father for breakfast. It's a nice, cozy little restaurant. You almost feel like home. The food was great, inexpensive, and tasty. The redhead waiter who helped us was very nice and did not rush to get us out. It's rare nowadays to find good service. I'll be coming back for lunch in the near future.
Labor Day morning the place was spotless clean, the food is delicious, my wife ordered some waffles with blueberries and ham, it was fresh, flavorful.. I asked for the “huevos pericos” With chicharrón and it was sooo good. I cannot praise enough how good was this experience, the people working here are great, dedicated to their job, kind and nice. Great place. We’ll be back for sure.
I buyed combo #1 it brings 2 eggs, choice of meat, (l picked bacon), home fries, toast and choice of pancakes, french toast or waffle. I ordered by uber eats and it only takes like 30mins. Good temperature and very good flavor, everything fresh. And the best part is they put all the condiments on the side… ketchup, butter, jelly, syrup, salt and pepper. I highly recommend this store the employees are very good.
after walking past this place for hundreds of times I finally decided to give it a go. I ordered two eggs, sausage, fries. The portion size was good. the prices in the menu were a bit on the high end. My only complaint was that the receipt had two amounts ; cash pay and card pay were two different amounts. Card pay was a bit extra than cash so I gave the cashier cash and he still ended up charging me the amount for card. I didn’t say anything to him I just deducted that amount from the tip.
I am extremely disappointed by my experience at this restaurant. During my visit, I was treated rudely and differently by a female worker after she became aware of my sexuality. The shift in her behavior was noticeable — the service became cold, dismissive, and unwelcoming. What began as a normal dining experience quickly turned uncomfortable. No guest should feel judged or marginalized for who they are. Restaurants are public spaces meant to provide hospitality to everyone, regardless of sexual orientation. Unfortunately, that standard was not met here. Her word was " your annoying and I don't like Lesbians' people. I hope management takes this seriously and ensures proper training and accountability so no one else has to experience discrimination while simply trying to enjoy a meal or just simply garbing a cup of coffee once getting off the night shift. I will definitely will be escalating this to the BBB as well and to the LGBTQ Community.
Ordered bagels and got sesame bagels when didn't have no option to write and was not stated anywhere it would be sesame. You guys tried to kill my gf. Crazy how you do business. Said I didn't state it as a excuse like your sending a top 10 well known allergy to someone without stating. Hope you guys having a horrible day. Waste of money.
I will never go back to this diner the food was good but the lady with the glasses has a nasty attitude , she’s friendly to who she want to be nice to . She had waitresses before but she would be nasty to them now she’s there alone . She needs an attitude adjustment.
We ordered food online. I got a strawberry nutella french toast. First few bites were good but then it started getting salty. Nutella french toast should be sweet…not salty. It became uneatable salty so more then half the food was left. My boyfriend who can usually eat everything couldn’t eat it either.
