First time having urban plates, I got the steak salad with blue cheese dressing on the side and it was 10/10. Also shout out to Luis and Erika, they were so helpful and extremely kind! Would deff come back!

The Mediterranean bowl was delicious, and we loved the brussel sprouts! They had water in a cute jug set out for customers with napkins and cups. Everything was nice and clean! The staff was friendly and answered all of our many, many questions! We had a hard time choosing what to order because there are so many options!

First time here and love the protein + carb +veggie style for a quick sit down place. So many options and the sides all look so good. Ordered: grilled chicken w/ potatoes and broccoli 🥦 They have 2 hot sauces at the condiment bar that you can add to flavor the chicken since I didn’t pick a sauce so that was nice. They add sourdough bread to the plates, salads, and I believe the sandwiches. cute outdoor patio with a high top table and cushioned seats or regular tables. Perfect lunch and portioned well. Bonus* giant cookies and baked sweets :)

Great service from Luis! He was very attentive to our table and would check in regularly to see how we were doing! Wonderful atmosphere, great selection of proteins for a healthy and lean meal!

Best lunch I’ve had in a very long time. Pictured is the Teriyaki grilled chicken plate with marble potatoes and garlic parm mushrooms. Incredible flavor on all 3. Luis was a fantastic server and Ally a great host. Will be returning on my next trip to OC.

From Alabama visiting our son who lives in San Juan Capistrano. We are here at least 2x a year and have eaten at lot of restaurants. Urban Plates, by far, is our new favorite place to eat. I had the blackened salmon and my husband had steak. Both meals were perfection! Service was excellent, thanks to Ashley and Luis. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent lunch spot. Very clean, organized and the food was so good. I had a apple and beet salad, added salmon. It was fresh and bursting with flavor. It was a hearty portion size. This Urban Plate # restaurant is our go to place, regularly about once a week or twice a month. We love the salads that they have here, especially the wild ahi Niçoise salad, always fresh and always tasty. We especially appreciate the two fellows named Ryan and Zach, always pleasant and friendly…with a smile. The bush persons are also very attentive as well, cleaning up the table quickly after the guest have left. The place has both inside and outside sitting and has a very friendly family atmosphere. We are lucky that this place is only a few miles from where we live, which is a go to place for us when we don’t feel like cooking. By the way, they have this incredible deal which you pay as a membership for $10 a month but you get 20% off from your dining in, or To Go every time you order. Love it, every time 🙂🙂🙂

Urban Plates in Aliso Viejo is a total gem! The chicken tenders with Nashville hot sauce were perfectly crispy and packed with bold, delicious flavor. I also tried the pita and hummus, and it was incredibly fresh and satisfying—great texture and seasoning. Zac is always so friendly and on top of things every time I come in. He notices when someone needs help and jumps in right away, and he does it with such a calm, positive attitude. He makes the whole experience feel smoother and more welcoming. Nathan is one of those people who makes you feel taken care of the second you walk up. He’s quick, he’s kind, and he always seems to know exactly what to do to make things easier. Every time he’s working, the line moves faster and the vibe is better. Luis is consistently helpful and respectful, and you can tell he takes pride in what he does. He, and always makes sure everything is done right. Whenever he’s around, the place just runs more smoothly.

Foods great, drinks awesome. Its a beautiful place but I will say the music is really bad and kindof ruins the vibe. I suggest you play something that isnt Jcpennys elevator music.

We have ordered from Urban Plates a few times, every time at least one item was missing, or the order was delivered after a ery long time. Even though the store promised refund for items not delivered, we never received the refund. Last night wanted to give them one last try, and again they missed to deliver one of the sides. Also the food quality was so bad it was inedible. The chicken tenders looked weird and seemed to be a week old at least (see the photo), and hard as a rock. Last time I order from them, such a waste of time and money....
