Ristorante Da Marcello mi ha regalato una delle esperienze culinarie più belle che abbia avuto in Italia. Il nostro cameriere, Marco, è stato estremamente carismatico, gentile e davvero divertente, rendendo la serata ancora più speciale. Gli gnocchi al pesto erano assolutamente deliziosi. Se andate, chiedete di Marco!

siamo arrivati a Roma il 31 Dicembre, abbiamo messo le valige in appartamento e siamo usciti a cercare un ristorante per pranzo. Rapida ricerca su Google e mi esce questo, era a 10 minuti a piedi dal nostro alloggio (il locale è attaccato al Vaticano). Abbiamo prenotato e al nostro arrivo ci siamo seduti al tavolo, io credevo che data l'ora (erano le 14:30) ed il locale pieno ci fosse da aspettare un po' invece tutto è arrivato in pochi minuti. Che dire, abbiamo preso piatti della cucina tipica (carbonara, cacio & pepe, polpette, ecc...) ed era tutto eccellente. Mio figlio ha preso la pizza e mi ha stupito positivamente: sottile, cotta alla perfezione, ricca di condimento, buonissima. Prezzo assolutamente nella media data la posizione del locale la qualità dei piatti. Assolutamente consigliato. P.S. camerieri simpaticissimi, ci sanno fare con i turisti, i romani sono sempre un passo avanti.

Wanted some lunch and was looking for a spot and boy did this not disappoint! Interior is bigger than it seems and has a very cozy Italian atmosphere. Got the cheese platter and the carbonara and it was delicious. I will say that my friends pesto gnocchi was my favorite though. Ali was a very thoughtful waiter and the honorary lemon cello shot at the end was the cherry on top! Definitely recommend!

We were a larger group, 14 people, and we were greeted in a very friendly manner. The place is rather spacious and gives off a very welcoming and cozy vibe. The staff was very nice and humorous and they made sure to keep a smile on our faces. Service was pretty quick and everything was in order. The food itself was awesome; the pizzas were delicious and rich in taste. The crust was thin and nicely done and the overall aroma was fantastic. We would highly recommend this place–it's certainly worth a visit!

Easily one of the best tiramisus I’ve ever had. The balance was perfect, rich but not heavy, creamy without being overwhelming. The espresso flavor was deep and smooth, the mascarpone was insanely silky, and every bite melted in my mouth. On top of that, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for relaxing and actually enjoying your time there. The service was good, friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel nice

Really nice places close to the Vatican. Marco, the italian waiter was super friendly and helpful, even when he spoke some hungarian. I recommend here to try Beef stake with potates, or pasta with seafood. Enjoy!! :)

After all that sightseeing, you need some proper Roman fuel, and Ristorante Da Marcello, tucked away in Trastevere, is the perfect spot. It has that classic, cozy vibe—the kind of place where you feel immediately at home. While they have a full menu of Roman classics, I highly recommend two things. First, their Margherita with Mushrooms Pizza. The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, the tomato sauce is bright, and the fresh mozzarella melts beautifully. Adding the mushrooms gives it that earthy, satisfying chew. It’s simple perfection. Second, you absolutely must try the Gnocchi Pesto Pasta. The gnocchi dumplings are incredibly soft and light, practically melting in your mouth, and the pesto sauce is vibrant, fresh, and perfectly balanced—not too heavy, which can be hard to find with a pesto base. This is honest, unpretentious, and unforgettable Italian cooking. Come hungry!

We came here for dinner, with a 4 year old, and had a great time. Food was wonderful, we shared fettuccine alfredo and a steak, our son had a margherita pizza and all of it was fantastic. Marco was our server and he was wonderful- great service, he danced with several patrons while live music was playing and even did a “magic” trick for our son. 10/10 experience!

Food was excellent here, had the bolognese here and yeah it was really rich, really delicious! Food honestly was great. No complaints on that front. In terms of the price, maybe a bit pricey but fair also, only costed €40! So again no real complaints there and that fed two people with nice pasta dish and drink, no service charge. Also atmosphere was good too and sat in a really nice street it’s located! With loads of religious gift shops right on the doorstep of the Vatican. Also the place wasn’t packed but certainly wasn’t empty and rather popular. Only thing that could’ve been better I would have to say is service was I felt at times a bit slow! Not massive problem though however but that’s the only thing if anything could’ve been better. Otherwise it was a great lunch enjoyable food and good service and atmosphere

Good vibes, Italian atmosphere, great gluten free pizza, good carbonara pasta - just hits the good spots. Marco was a lively and lovely waiter, joyful and with good humor! Only thing I must say is that we requested a mixed fish dish, and we received mixed sea fruits - which wouldn't be bad except we have a shrimp allergy, made it work none the less. And would recommend the staff for the menu to include some allergy information for our shrimp and milk intolerant people. Still, it was possible to bring up in conversation.

Buon indirizzo se si è in zona Vaticano per visite, è un ristorante per turisti ma..fa il suo mestiere, nessun piatto memorabile, ma tutto buono e fatto bene. Fanno anche pizza a pranzo. Prezzi non bassi ma considerando la zona non ti derubano. Lo consiglio.

A due passi da piazza San Pietro, locale carino, considerando che era strapieno di turisti abbastanza pulito. Personale gentile e veloce. Abbiamo mangiato mezze maniche all'amatriciana e pollo arrosto con patate e insalata, tutto buono.

Eravamo di passaggio nel visitare San Pietro, Abbiamo fatto un pranzo veloce, posto tipico di roma vicinissimo alla basilica, cibo ottimo servizio veloce personale gentile e con molto umorismo, abbiamo assistito ad una simpatica diatriba con il ristoratore di fronte per contenderci come clienti, il tutto molto simpatico e con stile romanesco, bravi prezzo giusto per il posto, consigliato.

ho ordinato una ceasar salad, era buonissima e abbondante per averla pagata €14. l’ambiente è abbastanza pulito, ma il bagno deve essere lavato più a fondo. il conto è stato un po’ eccessivo, poiché abbiamo pagato di più per l’acqua invece del cibo. il servizio è totalmente da rivedere perché ci siamo seduti su un tavolo vuoto, non c’erano posate, piatti o bicchieri. ce le hanno portate ma abbiamo apparecchiato noi.

Il locale é molto grande e piacevole e un servizio cordiale e disponibile come il signor Alí. I piatti sono ben preparati, gustosi, cucinati con ingredienti di buona qualità. Nel complesso un bel posto per un pasto tranquillo.

We went to this restaurant for lunch. The food was very good. We had pizza, gnocchi and thin sliced steak. Service was fast and efficient. We sat inside and therefore the ambiance was not that good. But if you sit outside, you can enjoy your experience much more.
