We had dinner here a few weeks ago. I had the chicken tender combo & my husband had their new catfish dinner combo. Both choices were very good. Service was also good. This location is very near our home. So we'll be back again in the near future.

Not a big fan of fast food, but I am really impressed with the taste of their chicken tenders. The fries are A-mazing!!! And their honey mustard sauce was good and sweet! I ordered a 4 piece tender meal and got home to find 8 tenders in my box!! Whoop whoop!

First time eating here. Will not be the last. Wow, the chicken is so good! The fries are amazing. And please, the rolls, OMG! Employees were very nice. A very rude customer came in, they treated her just as good as all the rest. Outstanding, because this lady was RUDE, but the lady at the counter just took her order and smiled.

Loved the food, loved the service, hot and crispy 🙌🏾. Golden Chick is one of my favorite fast food places, but as anyone knows not every chain is the same. I definitely have marked this on my map so I can return whenever I'm in the area. We came to this place around 6pm on June 12, so whoever is running the store please keep it up!

We just use the drive-thru, but this place was much faster than the Golden Chick near her house. And I could tell the food had just been cooked right then, it was very fresh. Golden Chick is always delicious. The drive-thru person was very polite. This place gets five stars.

My family and I visited this Golden Chick location and were beyond impressed with the amazing customer service provided by Isai, Leo, and LeeRoy! From the moment, we walked in and ordered our food, they made sure to take care of us and ensured we enjoyed time while we dined inside. I want to note that their attention to detail was on point, their availability was there if we needed anything else, and overall the warm kindness they gave us from the moment we walked into the restaurant. I can't tell you enough how refreshing their customer service was! My family and I expected to go in and have a fast food experience, which in today's society is mediocre. HOWEVER, this experience was so different in a positive way! We walked into a fast food place, but they made it feel like a 5-star, gourmet restaurant. I can tell you that I will be coming back to this location not just because the food was great, but also because the staff is amazing! The atmosphere was relaxing to where you can come in and enjoy time as a family. THANK YOU for such a great experience! We truly enjoyed our Sunday lunch at Golden Chick and we will be coming back!

Had never eaten here before and was curious. It was a pleasant surprise. One of the main good points is that they serve both fried and roasted chicken options. The fried chicken was crunchy on the outside and juicy inside. The seasoning was excellent. I'm not a fan of too much salt and they did not disappoint. They also have many sides including salad which is nice. My one minor hit was that the dirty rice was very strongly seasoned and not tasty.

The BEST rolls for pretty much all of the GOLDEN CHICKS in the surrounding area. Most are pretty consistent with the sides, and the chicken is hard to mess up. Couldn't give them a 5 every single visit because they have made some mistakes but they are by far the most consistent with the yeast rolls. They taste and look amazing, period. They make other golden chicks and chicken places' rolls look like store bought Sunbeam rolls. I hope the other Golden chicks see this review. I am not happy with the rest of you. But golden chick off airport freeway deserves an A. My Only complaint, if I had to nitpick, is I don't like your raspberry lemonade setup, it seems to come out hot, and watered down.

This was one of the best dine-in experiences I have had in a long time. The best part was the service by Leeroy. He made sure my family was well taken care of and that we were having a pleasant experience. He also stopped what he was doing to open the door for an older gentleman who was a veteran of the military. The food was hot and delivered quickly after our order. Every table in the restaurant was clean. Of course, we also enjoyed our complimentary ice cream cones! Would recommend 100% and will be back for sure!

The food was great, and so was the staff. Le Roy, who was at the counter, served us with a smiling face, suggested some great combos, and even gave us something extra to try. This is the kind of service we expect when we visit a restaurant, which I was surprised to receive at a fast-food spot. I definitely recommend this place. The service here is always quick and welcoming, and the food tastes amazing. I especially love their catfish—it’s full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The drive thru area is neat, nicely decorated, and packed with plenty of menu choices. They even offer chicken salad, which was a pleasant surprise. The spot is easy to find, right off the highway near the Precinct Line exit. It’s surrounded by a few other eateries, but getting in and out is super convenient with a smooth route around QT and back to Precinct Line Road. If you order the chicken strips, definitely ask for the white gravy—it’s rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious!

It was delicious. I tried the new or new to me pimento cheese and jalapeno chicken sandwich. It was awesome. I was hoping the bun would taste like their rolls, but it didn't (sad), it was still one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had, and nobody could have told me that pimento cheese on anything was good, but it was delightful. The jalapenos are fried and they are more like slices or pieces. The crunch made the sandwich that much more pleasing for me. I paired the sandwich with mashed potatoes and a Dr. Pepper! 😋

The only reason I don't give it 5 starts is cause we had to wait in the drive thru line for almost an hour for our food. It would be easier to be able to go in and order. It would probably cut the time in half. Other then that the food was great!!

This was my first experience eating at Golden Chick and I really liked it. Had the spicy strips and some corn nuggets. Restaurant was clean, the man behind the counter was very nice and the food was great. I'm not sure what the reviewer who said the strips are like nuggets is talking about. My wife and I both got the #1 combo and it was more than enough food. I actually found the strips to be larger than most fast food restaurants. The roll that came with the meal was also delicious. Overall, great first experience for us and I'm looking forward to trying them again.

Fresh piping hot french fries and polite service. Spicy chicken tenders and buttered rolls, like what's not to like? If I had to nitpick something, I didn't get any extra spice on the side and service was slower than expected but fresh fries are a great trade off. Will be visiting again!

The food was very good and made fresh. The drive-thru had quite a few cars, esp for the time of day it was. The only issue we had was with our drinks. I asked for a Dr. Pepper, sweet tea and Big Red. Unfortunately, we got two teas when one was supposed to be a Dr. Pepper.

As always, food at GC is good. The service was a little slow and I wasn't created when I walked in, but that's not a industry norm. Clean eating and lots of space. Even bar top with plugs for students at nearby TCC to eat and study.

The fast food chicken scene is crowded to say the least. Lots of competition in this space and many places are really, really good. This Golden Chick was clean, fast, and people were very helpful and nice. Is this the best chicken place ever? I'll leave that up to you but it's at least worth the visit.

This particular location serves up food that is fresh, flavorful and usually made to order. Nevertheless, the customer service has not exactly risen to the occasion during my last couple of visits. This is likely attributable to the current labor shortage in fast food and retail.

Hello Everyone, Now I have been at this location before ,but I have never have my food so cold . Prices at this location has gone so hight. $10 for a four pieces tender with a drink. Restrooms needs attention no paper towels trash in the main lobby over flowing.

Tables were dirty, in fact, the entire table was sticky. Also, Golden Chick, can you fix your ice cream machines every Golden Chick I goto it's hit or miss if it works. That's as bad as McDonalds. Yes the ice cream machine was down as well. The workers never came out to clean any tables while we were there.

Decent. The people are always nice but lately they seem to keep getting my order wrong. The wicked wings are always too hard. The yeast roll is good to the soul. Regular tenders are good too. I wouldn't get the wings again. They cook those to death. I'll come back for the rolls, dirty rice and tenders but that's about it.

I ordered last night from the drive thru. I sat in the drive they for 40 minutes before I finally received my order. That is a ridiculous amount of time to have to wait for your food order. An In and Out is next door and the drive thru line moves unbelievably fast, having been the 15th car in line and getting my order in 10 minutes, just a couple of weeks ago. So there are definitely things that need serous attention. The site is on precinct line rd in Hurst, TX.

The order was taken incorrectly. I wasn't aware until I received my receipt and food altogether. I asked for a 3 piece catfish fish dinner with fried okra and sweet tea. I received fries instead. I alerted an attendant who asked for the fries back. I shared with her that they were spilled within the box, and she said well, let me have the box, and I will get them. WTH, I could not believe what I heard. I told her no thanks, drove away, then called to speak with a Mgr, and was told there was no one on duty though he/she would return Monday. I went on to share my concern and quickly received a nonchalant near deaf ear response regarding the female asking for the food back via window. My order was roughly $12 and would have purchased the okra separately, but her remark of passing my box back to her to remove the fries was disgusting. The lack of care and concern for customer service were transparent per the lack of leadership. The food was fresh and of great taste; however, it seems the entire establishment needs a refresher in Safe Serv for starters.

Food is pretty good. Served hot and better than other local franchises. But if you see someone who looks like they could be in high school or a college freshman, please double check your order and the math on it because they will most likely goof it up. This has happened to me twice here. The latest time had me coming back through the driver-thru to get an item that they were trying to charge me again for...after asking for a receipt...that they never gave me. A quick talk with someone else and asking if they "should just give it to her?" when I'm right there, then proceeded to tell me that they won't charge me because I already paid (obviously after telling me for two minutes that I'm incorrect, that difference was tax and a cup of ice, and receiving no apology. NOTE: Tax on $6 and a 40¢ cup of ice does not equal over $4???) Cooks get 5 stars, cashiers of late get a 2. To the owner, retrain because your windows are consistently slow and this may be a reason.

Food is good, although sometimes when I order the mac & cheese, they scoop it in a way to where the top part that’s been out & drying up gets mixed in, making some parts of the mac hard. Other than that it fine. I know my mom has had some problems with the service, though I not exactly sure what those problems are, so I will not speak on her behalf.

They still make good catfish and its real catfish, but I don't know if it's just this location or all locations but they have decided not to sell the six piece fish by itself now every piece of fish is 3.99 each unless you get the 4 pc. combo which it's barely enough for a family of four. So now unless you want a combo its extremely overpriced, now they have lost a customer, because although I know this is a chicken place the fish was what I came for now the fish is not what I'm coming for anymore.

I Doordashed a 2 piece chicken meal with a leg, a thigh, French fries and a roll, for pickup. First they told me when I went to pick up that they had no fish so they couldn’t make my order. Which was odd. Since I didn’t order fish. Then another guy said he got my order and when I got home I saw it was a wing, a breast, mac & cheese and no roll. So random! But the chicken tasted good, so there’s that.

This was the first time since visiting this location several times before that I was disappointed with the quality of the food. I normally get the chicken salad but decided on the shrimp special with dirty rice. When the food arrived, the dirty rice was soup. It was surrounded by liquid and oil. I couldn't eat it and got the mac n cheese instead. I gave this visit 3 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ because the service was good, the atmosphere was good and the restaurant was clean but the dirty rice...not so much Hopefully this was just a one off.

Just picked up a 3 Chicken Strip Combo with Okra and Mashed Potatoes. Chicken was o”ok.” The Okra had been sitting under the heat light way too long as the breading was mushy and cold. Mashed potatoes. We were disappointed. We won’t return.

I go here because it's better than the chicken express closer to my work. I've noticed a pattern where if you dine in, you get a much larger and better looking tender. When you go through the drive-thru, you get a less crunchy and smaller tender. The flavor is still good, but the size is much smaller. I've always liked the fries, but today, I've gotten fries that have obviously been sitting on the warmer for quite a while because they look like this. This is probably the worst fries I've gotten anywhere. Even somewhat undercooked fries look better and taste better than these. With the cost of eating up going up everywhere, I've scaled back my options and I may have to at this location as well. I'll try dine in next time to 100% convince I'm just not dreaming the tenders are different in size, but I'm almost positive they are.

Check your order if you drive -hru. They get the order wrong about 30% of the time. Wrong items, leaving out stuff and once they gave me someone else’s order. Amazing

Staff not friendly, food quality below average

It’s a shame this restaurant falls in category like the rest in covid. Prices high food quality poor. I order a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. More like Idaho. Just heavy season. My nephew caught high blood pressure was sick after eating it. They need to stick with the fish and chicken. They can’t compete with chicken sandwiches.

Tried the new kind of wings they have, which is really just super crunchy little miniature pieces of chicken LOL not great, which is exactly what the worker tried to tell me. The fried shrimp were good but the fact that it's three for a $1.99 wasn't great and the only give you one type of sauce.

Wonderful chicken, terrible service, really good fries. Other sides were so-so. I had never eaten at Golden Chick before, but they were advertising a good deal, so we tried it out. Seemed the staff was really peeved about honoring the price. We had an ad with several coupons and a large ad on one side for the "30-tender feast" (which wasn't a coupon.) But they asked to see it, and tore out the ad so we wouldn't come in for that deal again. (Don't worry, we won't.) It was a large order, and when we got home, we found they forgot the sauce and one side. Not a big deal, just frustrating since it was the main side my kids wanted. So I drive back to the restaurant, tell them about the error and ask for the rest. Clearly they thought I was trying to rip them off and get free food, but after a minute they gave me the rest. Other restaurants usually offer 'extras' to make up for their mistake & the inconvenince; this staff offered visible signs of irritation & a sense of contempt.

Customer service was great, the food not so much. I ordered the 4 piece tender meal but I'm guessing they threw in an extra piece because the tenders were so small. Also the fried okra tasted like it was fried in the morning and sitting under a heat lamp.

When this location first opened. It was very good. But since COVID hit and they closed the dining room. Then did a remodel. So I went back. The lady that waited on me at the counter was very pleasant. I ordered the fish and paid for it. Then she tells me there out. She should’ve known before I ordered. I didn’t get what I wanted. I settled for some tenders. The tenders were hot and fresh. But the fries were cold. But I got through it. The second thing I noticed was how the food was brought out to me. I wanted dine in. It was fixed to go. Next I noticed that the drinking straws weren’t wrapped in any thing too protect them. Any one can spread their germs. It was very unsanitary . Then I noticed they did away with the free ice cream. To me that’s a signature item of Golden Chick. I wear hearing aides. I always turn them down. When I go to a restaurant. The music was way too loud. I won’t be going back for a while. Maybe they will read this review and fix the problem,.

I have visited this location many many times. But staff has always been super friendly and very helpful. I believe in equal opportunity for everyone, however you have to have the skills to do the job. Unfortunately the lady running the register today knew zero English. I wasn't trying to do anything difficult, I wanted to add a leg to a kids meal. I've done this dozens of times, because this is my daughter's favorite restaurant and the leg is her favorite. Today, I was unable to get her to understand that I wanted to add a leg. She added another kids meal with the leg. I said no I just want to add a leg to the first one. She had to call over the manager. Unfortunately the manager knew a little bit of English but not enough to understand what I was saying. I eventually had to cancel the kids meal all together. I don't want this to come up as me being racist, I'm all for good opportunity for everyone no matter where you're from or what you look like. But like I said, you have to have the skills to do the job. And it is not those two ladies fault, they are put in positions they are not qualified for. And I love Golden Chick and I've always loved this location. I was actually going by the other location on industrial to get where I was going with the food but I avoid that one because it's subpar. Unfortunately I think this puts me into going to Chicken Express instead of Golden Chick going forward. We prefer this food, however it doesn't matter if I can't order it.

2 star review only because I have been here several times before and it’s been good one time. Pulled up to the drive through, husband orders my food, the lady asks if we want anything else, husband proceeds to say yes a 6 piece and then the lady says “second window” COMPLETELY ignoring the additional food he was trying to order. Frustrated, we pay for the 1 meal, get home, and the chicken is cold with gravy spilled all inside the bag. We won’t be back.

So i placed my order online and after I waited 35 minutes past the time it was supposed to done to get my order wrong. The manager argued with me so i bring all the food back in. She looks sees i was right. Doesn't even apologize and corrects the mistake. Never coming here again. You need a new manager check my time stamp im on the way home now it is 9:40pm i placed this order over an hour ago... I didnt pay $50 for late, wrong food and to be treated rudely...

Very unprofessional employee called Lisa. I ordered some food and the lady said it will take 13 minutes I said it's fine. 45 minutes later, yes you read it right, and nothing was ready. I asked if I could cancel the order and she was upset for some reason and she's like I'm doing my best and shouldn't been working today. I said I just asked if I could cancel the order not complaining I have other stuff to do now and she's like me too I have another job after this one. I'm like WTH that's a very rude one!! .. I'm done NOT returning to this location!

Everything was cold chicken breast was old so tough couldn't chewy. Eat here alot but was so rude and very cold attitude we left didn't eat

I don't know how Golden Chick stays in business. Chicken Express is better in every way. Awful experience today. Soda machine was broke. Mashed potatoes were not good at all. They barely give you any gravy. Customer service was not existent.

Will NEVER eat here again. While standing at the counter waiting for my order, I saw an employee take an order someone had refused at the drive thru and dump the food back in with the freshly cooked food. Then, that same employee dropped some rolls. Instead of throwing them out as she should have, she picked them up and put them back on the tray with the fresh rolls. Beyond disgusting.

Guess 3rd time's the charm here. Ordered the mixer through Uber eats. So mind you, I paid almost $9 in delivery and service fees. It arrived early, with half its contents. Adrian was less than helpful. We drive up there, was greeted by no one. They try to rush us out, again, with half the order. They hand me another bag. In good Faith, I go to my car. Pull off, then think to double check. Yup. Still missing part of my order. No apology, no compensation. Just received cold food and a lack of customer service. We order from this location weekly, and I can promise this was the last.

This place seems to be unusually slow. They always seem to be busy but I think it's because it takes so long to get your order. I've been through the drive-thru only twice. My very first time ever to a Golden Chick, my order was incorrect. I saw that someone else mentioned you should check your order before you leave the drive-thru because they tend to mess up orders and I wholeheartedly agree. Both times I've been here, it took probably 15-20 minutes minimum before I received my food. If you are in a hurry or want your order to be accurate, I do not recommend going here.

Hours are supposedly 10:30-10 (not 11 like it says on the Golden Chick website and they supposedly "confirmed" on Google). Been twice now at like... 10-15 minutes after 9 only to find them closed. Mostly seems to be completely shut down and been closed for a while. Other nearby location is the exact same way (have checked this one hoping it was open when the other location was also randomly totally closed down early) so I really doubt this was just poor luck of the draw. Post accurate hours if you want people to eat there.

Love the chicken, catfish, and shrimp. Originally gave 5 stars. Now 6 months later I placed an order in the drive thru and for the first time ever, my order was wrong. I didn't find out until I was home. I didn't have time to go back to fix my order. So disappointed!! I had to take away stars.

When I ordered a tender salad, I was the fourth car in line. I waited a total of 32 minutes until I received my simple order…. I would say that this experience will ensure I do not shop here ever again.

Most of us that can afford to eat out, are not eating out for the food, but convenience, and service. In the DFW, there are thousands of choices with food service. Thousands. More opening daily, because some of them fail, due to poor service. If a corp doesn't care, the business can advertise all they want, and still fail. The Golden Chick in Hurst has chosen to hire a manager names Silvia, that truly exemplifies all that is wrong with the industry. Cares nothing for customers, the corporation she represents, and will no doubt just be there until she finds a new place to disappoint customers and her employee turn over rate will cause each business money. The collective of our reviews is enough to put a ding in each business we review, or help the good ones thrive. So this matters. Golden Chick has an F rating with the BBB. That should tell you something about the way corp handles customer concerns. I am done with them. Nothing could convince me to return. We have more chicken places in my area than you can throw a drumstick at. Include all the grocers sell prepped meals and chicken of all varieties? There is no need to suffer one business in any category. The food is awesome at Golden Chick. but service is a part of the meal, as that is what makes it a value. So I cannot give them what the food deserves. The ads on TV and radio are great to get us there, but the attitude of the managers kill the benefit of the ads. If I leave the store without paying, that is called theft. In the same way, I should be able to trust that if I use my gas to get to your store, and pay in advance, I should be able to have full trust that when I open my bag at home, exactly what I ordered is in the bag, or you have stolen my money, and wasted my gas. I should not have to make two trips for one order. And I should not have to check my order. Check our orders twice before they go out the window. Fast food workers work hard for the most part. Most of them do an excellent job, but even they know which workers are giving their industry a bad name. They too are customers at other businesses in their market, and wouldn't dare go to their own store as customers. Golden Chick corporate is not responsive, or even reactive. They do not care. So a new Bojangles opened, and Raising Canes and Chick-Fil-A are consistently above and beyond awesome in this segment. Done with Golden Chick. My only regret is that I am sure there are some great employees at that store, and how they are not able to speak up when a manager is wrong, at risk of being fired. To them, I apologize in advance that you have to deal with subpar management. I did not say substandard, as this is standard for this business. Peace folks. Take care. Go eat here anyway. No way you shouldn't suffer like the rest of us.

Spend $50 for nothing. Waited 15 minutes for food (I uhndertand ot can take time to fry) our payment was taken and we were never spoken to again. Ask for extra sauce for the sandwich that was ordered and for the 12 tenders purchased and revived 0 sauce. Once we received our food we had to flag down the staff member again because we did not receive our drink. When asked what it was we told them Dr Pepper, he turned around grabbed the drink that had been sitting there since we pulled up and it was pink lemonade.

My family patroned this Golden Chick and my mom said she asked for a three-piece and the server said it was not available and charged for every single item individually making the price higher than it needed to be. They charged me for a small okra when we paid for a large okra. So was double charged. The food was bland also and mediocre.

It was our first time at Golden Chick. I wish I never went in. Biggest mistake on my Sunday. The service was awful. Not just for me but a family of five also left without completing their order. Not sure how or why the employees are miserable but they are. I hope this review alerts the owners to make much needed changes to the management of this business.

Went through drive thru, a woman said something really fast w/ heavy accent then when I was asking her to repeat she did it again while I was still talking then got silent…..2 different Golden Chicks today horrible service….do better

Bad service, flavorless food. Ordered a family meal in the drive thru and had to wait over 20 min. I had to go inside the restaurant to get my food that wasn't even ready. When I got home and opened everything up, my order wasn't even complete. I was missing 1/3 of the chicken that I paid a lot for. None of the food had much flavor. Will not be coming back to this location.

Sat mom down (after wiping food out of the chair) at the cleanest table I could find. They didn't have what I had come for, so ordered something else. The Cole Slaw had NO flavor. And of course the soft serve wasn't working.

Just walked out of golden chicken because the manager was frustrated there was people in the lobby. They aren’t busy not sure why he would be frustrated. People that were already sitting down have their food. It was just a total of four people waiting to get their order taken. He stepped out all upset raised his hand and looked at us like why df are we here. So rude . I can’t even believe this happened .

My drink was covered with liquid on the side. I asked the guy his name started with L if he could wipe it down. He took my drink and poured it out and poured me a new drink, but it looked like he was doing something shady to it, because he was doing it out of view. When me and my son tasted the drink it made us sick. It smelled like cleaner. He may have done nothing to it but there was something very wrong about the drink.

You used to have the best chicken salad sandwich!!! I would get it all the time. I don't know why you decided to add a ton of black pepper to it when it didn't have it before, but it's just awful! This is the second time there was a ton of pepper in it. First time I thought it was a fluke. Nope .Please go back to the way you made it before.

They were out of wings, all I wanted was a 2 piece with a roll. I ordered a leg, wing and roll. Also a drink and it was $11.00. Way too much. I'm not a regular customer and don't plan to be.

We came to the drive thru at 9:40 pm and the speaker told us they were close when clearly it states that they are open until 10 pm. I parked and went up to the door with the “open” sign on. The door was locked and the girl continued to tell me it was closed when the door literally has 10 pm written on it. Customer service is nonexistent anymore. Sad.

Food came out great. But I’m not sure why the cashier maydeline had her phone out with my credit card in her hand which looked like she was taking a picture of my card.

When I dine in food in great. Lately my to go orders have cold fries and today the fish was cold and broken in pieces. it looks like it was old and re heated.

Ordered over $50 online. They couldn't find my order at the drive-thru. Thank goodness I caught it when after 15 minutes they gave me the wrong order. Went inside and, oh wait, my order was right there all along! Totally wasn't worth it! Fish and shrimp were waaay overcooked, chicken strips were oversalted, and dirty rice was the dirtiest mass of pudding ever!

Asked for Un-Sweet tea (got sweet), 2 thighs, got 1 thigh and a wing

Always forget at least one thing when we order. Been here a ton of times and I'm always disappointed. If it's not the customer service, it's the quality of the food. Better to just avoid this location.

Priced too high for fast food after i add up what i am spending just make food at home i get it covid caused price increases but that was 5 years ago enough with the taking advantage of people and just overall greed is what it has become.

I placed an online order and went through the drive through to pick it up. The lady in the Drive-Thru told me to pull to the side and wait. I placed the order 10 minutes before arriving so I shouldn't have had to wait at all, but sure I pulled to the side and waited. I waited there for 15 minutes before finally going into the store and questioning where the order was. When I went in the order was just sitting there on the side of the counter. It was already a bit cold, clearly it had been sitting there for a while. They would have definitely let me sit out there for as long as I wanted, I was completely forgotten.

On October 22, 2025 I ordered a combo to-go with coleslaw. This location is 6-miles away from my work and the coleslaw had already expired on the 21st. Tasted like fish. I called 10 times and nobody picked up to answer. I ate the chicken sandwhich and drove back to the location and talked to the manager Sylvia. I asked for a refund, which I thought was fair to ask, considering I drove a total of 12 miles. She did not honor a full refund and advised me if I had any other complains, that I should write a review. Poor management. Here is a picture of the expired coleslaw

Here is my formal complaint that I would like escalated above Mr. Cousins at the Hurst, Tx store # 1215 recepit # 3061. I came through the drive thru and ordered a 2 piece fish combo and was advised that it would be a 7 minute wait which I agreed to. I pulled forward and ordered my food. After payment I was asked to pull forward. The time stamp on my receipt shows 3:58pm. I then requested a complimentary cup of water. The guy stated they dont give complimentary water. That was my first issue. We are in Texas and it almost 100 degrees and I have to wait for my food. I think it would have been courteous to give a complimentary cup of water. After I was denied water I did not pull forward. Eventually another man (im assuming was the manger) came to the window and gave me a cup of water and I proceeded to pull forward and wait on my order that was placed at 3:58pm. After an extended period of time (4:11 pm)they did not being my order out to my car. I then pulled around to the entrance and went in to get my food at 412pm. The same man who gave me the water approached the counter. I advised him that they still hadn't brought my food to the car. He turns to speak to the employees asking about the fish order. Nobody had started the order. The man then says it will be 7 minutes bc they were making it fresh for me. So that means when I ordered it at 358pm my order was never started. Issue # 2 is I believe that was done on purpose because of the issue with the water. To further escalate things the team began to giggle at my frustration. ALL of them!!! I then requested a refund and advised I would be filing a complaint.

This is the worst golden chicken I've ever experienced. On top of the fact they already overcharge the food we got was not enjoyable. The grease was old whether 2 days or 2 weeks it's still old. Normally I be satisfied when I leave Golden chicken. Not today. Terrible and disappointed. Even the roll was below standard. Maybe stray dogs will come along and save us. God bless! Never again

Believe the negative reviews. I just went to the drive through the chicken I received was old and dry. The best thing about the whole meal was the sweet tea that's why I gave them one star. This used to be a good location with excellent product. I won't be returning.

Zero stars. Extremely disappointed with our dinner order from Golden Chick last night. The food was clearly old and stale. The bread was rock hard and showed signs of mold (see attached video). The chicken was cold and tough as shoe leather. Worst of all, my kid spent the entire night throwing up and having diarrhea after eating their meal. Unacceptable food quality and potentially hazardous to customers' health. Won't be ordering from here again."

Today on May 08/2024 at 6:pm I went to pick my wife food up the 6 pieces chicken tenders and the 2 gravy she ordered.I respectfully ask the young lady that works there could ,she please make sure that everything we paid for is their in the bag please. Because we always have to drive back to Golden Chick and ask them why did we not get everything we paid for. If u call this business u can't ever get anyone to pick up or call u back. The corporate office never calls u back.The young lady rolled her eyes at me.I keep my cool and thank her. Some of their employees can be very rude. U know a picture can say a thousand words.This is the looks she is giving me.I nicely told her to have a blessed day and Jesus Christ loves her.Do they train employees this way now in thier orientation class to treat customer's so unpresidential??? It's time for customers to take their business somewhere else.Where employees treat u like a human Bean not like trash!!!! Companies don't care anymore because they think we need them to cook our food.🏃🙊🙀🧐

This Golden Chick location is not serving the franchise products. Their rolls are not the same, their fries are not the same, their fried chicken is not the same. The sandwich buns are not the same. If they are not going to serve the franchise products they need to change their name. I have been on several occasions thinking it was a fluke, but it is apparent they are not serving the franchise products. The chicken legs were so small, practically the size of a wing drums. This restaurant should be called Fool's Gold Chicken, because this is not Golden Chick.
