Delicious!! And they gave us Valentines chocolate treats for dessert 💗
Don’t brush it off by the drive by, it’s in a new commercial small town model development mixed retail/restaurant/residential….great Thai food
Just moved into the neighborhood nearby and this is the best Thai food I have ever had. The staff was so friendly and welcoming!
This is by far our favorite Thai restaurant in the capital region , me and my girlfriend come here between 1-2 times a week and order several variations of the same thing, we get two rolls of sushi, two Thai ice teas and two orders of curry , we absolutely adore the staff, they are so attentive and sweet, which you don't see everywhere.. We look forward to our weekly visits .
Delicious food at a fair price. This is one of my favorite get-aways to relax after work.
Hands down the best Thai place in the Saratoga area! The sushi is also super fresh and the service is friendly and top notch! Definite must!
Had a wonderful sushi shashimi meal. The Six people with me had different things and loved them.
The service was top notch warm and cozy we had a corner table the,4 of us devoured everything no doggy bag this time I wish I took pictures next time
Good ambience, quick service. One of the best Thai iced teas! Sushi rolls are also good, great garnishing..reasonable rates for sushi.
Great food and service! Sushi, curry, sashimi or other, all are delicious. Good for lunch or sitting down for dinner.
Service was quick and friendly. Food was delicious and generously portioned. Restaurant was nice looking and very clean!
The thai fried rice was fantastic along with the pork fried dumplings hands down one of the best experiences, love the food will be back for more!
Another fantastic meal at Bua. We come here weekly, the curry is awesome, the beer cold and the service impeccable. Highly recommend.
Great little Thai and sushi spot. Super tasty. Inexpensive. The staff is what gets them the 5th star however. Kop kun krup!
Best Thai food in the region! Pad Thai and curries are phenomenal.
We order at least once a week. Great sushi, noodle dishes and the crab avocado salad is fabulous
Good was really good and service was friendly and relatively fast. Chocolate lava cake is just a large piece of chocolate cake.
I get sushi here all the time. The food here is really good, ever one here is very nice never had a problem here.
This place is always on point. Fresh, flavorful and wonderful service. Those who complain about the price are misinformed. This isn't your corner Chow mein joint. The food is appropriately priced for the portion served. Try it, you will be glad you did!
My husband and I recently had dinner at Bua Thai & Sushi. We were very pleased with the service, atmosphere, and the food we ordered. The pad thai and pad see eew were delicious and fresh, and the crab rangoons were perfect- crispy and not at all greasy. We highly recommend Bua Thai and we can't wait to return and try something new!
First time ever having Thai food and I can definitely say that this place made me want to have it many more times. Delicious food and very kind staff. I highly recommend going to Bua Thai!
Bua is my go-to spot for THE BEST crab rangoon, pho noodle soup, and pad thai. The staff is always welcoming and the restaurant is super clean and comfortable! All of the food is high quality and they provide great service.
This place has delicious Thai food! Our favorites are Drunken Noodles and Thai Fried Rice, but their California rolls are great also. Definitely one of our favorite places to eat in Malta.
Pad Thai is so yummy and the portion is large.
This place is a lovely secret gem. Very quiet when dining in but comfortable, and incredible food. Possibly some of the best red curry I've had.
Great food, good variety to the menu. I’ve only had take out but the service he always been excellent. Definitely recommend.
I walked in off the street just expecting another upstate New York sushi place, but I was seriously blown away by the quality and the price. I never ever leave these kind of reviews but I was compelled to say something because of how impressed I am. 10/10 quality meal!
Discovered Bua Thai & Sushi just recently and so happy to have enjoyed take-out 3 times now. Their sushi, apps, and meals have been consistently fresh, delicious, with reasonable portions for the price. I find some of their add-on sauces a bit pricey but that said, I have rarely wished I had more sauce. Maybe once for take-out pad thai that was 'take-out-delivered' - by the time it arrived the sauce had soaked into the rice noodle and it was a bit dry. I have had pad thai that we picked up 2 others times and it was perfect! Even though we have never dined in, I gave atmosphere 5 stars because it is really nice inside and hope to enjoy dining in one day soon.
I have been here in the past, and have always had good luck. Last night I was in the mood for Thai food and placed an order. It was 10 out of 10!
This is a unique restaurant and the menu has things you'd normally expect to see as well as some options you can't really find other places. I really enjoyed the healthy options here. If you're going to enjoy yourself, put away your expectations and try something new. This is not your run of the mill sushi restaurant. They have gone out of their way to make some signature dishes. I enjoyed the presentation very much. The wait staff was friendly, attentive and personable. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing . Very fresh sushi and delicious food. Thank you to the staff for an excellent meal ! We will be back.
My favorite place around here to get sushi. I often order this on door dash, it takes about 30 min and is still hot every time. I would love to dine in, the pictures of their rolls look amazing! Highly recommend. Don't disregard this place because some people don't know how to read a menu! (Should've shared your food with your baby, guy)
Best crab Rangoon, hands-down sushi is fresh loved my Cali roll The Boston roll could use more flavor not a big fan but it was my first time trying it Eel roll was delicious Pho noodles were pretty good I would have liked more flavor on that as well with more green onion.
I picked up takeout from here and ordered the drunken noodles with chicken. It was delicious - sweet, spicy, saucy with a generous amount of chicken and noodles. I especially liked the red chili sauce that comes on the side. I used all of it. The portions were generous... one order lasted me two meals. We will be ordering here regularly. Can't wait to try more of their menu.
We loved everything about the food (curry, chicken dumplings, stir fries) and service except that the very pleasant waitress brought out the drinks and appetizers with the main course. But I’m sure they would change that with requests. We’ll definitely be back!
On the side street doing a ton of takeout business, their food is amongst the best I've had. Fried dishes were light and crispy. Try the fried pork dumplings; unlike anything I've ever had - Delicious. The staff is friendly and make you feel at home.
We order to go at least twice a month, everything we've had has been delicious. I'm a big fan of the rama garden, prik prow fried rice, curries and chicken wings and my husband loves the garlic sautee and never strays from it. They know my husband by name :)
Coming in with a group of friends and getting seated right away was great. The waitresses treated us with such respect and always came to our table with a 😃. The Thai food was alright but the sushi. Man let me tell you fresh, presented amazlingly and tasted great. I live all the way in Glenville and come up here just for sushi. I recommended this place to any one who loves fresh and great tasting sushi.
One of the best Thai restaurants in Saratoga County. I have been here multiple times and never been disappointed. My usual dishes were Tom Khar soup and Avavado roll with a side of rice. This time I tried the lunch menu (red curry) and I just ate it all....it's just a right blend of spices that wants you go back for more. While I was there I stopped by to say hello to my friend who lives in the building. I definitely would recommend thos place.
This is a hidden gem with really great tie and sushi and excellent pricing. Very nice staff and a great thing is they are open on Monday, which is great for me because that's my only day off.
One of our favorite places! For dine in, take out, or delivery. Excellent food. Would highly recommend!
Great sushi and the sticky rice was so good! I’m celiac and they were very accommodating and had GF soy sauce (not just the tamari). My friend had the iced Thai coffee, which looked good and she said so as well. Def would recommend and hopefully going back!
This is my new favorite place for sushi, everything about it was perfect. The staff was very friendly and the ambience in the restaurant is perfect, it makes you feel welcome. Everything was very clean and neat. The sushi I ordered was amazing! The best sushi I have ever had, and it the presentation of the sushi was beautiful! I would recommend this place to everyone I know and more!
I eat lunch here everyday! Their food is sooooo good and their sushi is on point! Their Pad Thai leaves much to be desired but I was spoiled by Twins Thai in Greenwich N.Y. Their Pad Thai is the best I have ever had anywhere in the USA!
Awesome as usual. Super fresh, huge portions (great for lunch the next day). Friendly service, clean, inviting atmosphere! I have never had a bad meal in the year and a half we've been coming!
This place is tight around the corner from where I live. It's my Monday go to dinner spot with my daughter. Always great service. Always fresh food.
The waitstaff were incredibly nice and attentive. The food was outstanding, especially given the price point. We will definitely be back in the future!
I've been here many times since my partner moved up north. Staff is very friendly and food is excellent.
Delicious. Prices are right, food is fresh, place is clean and the staff is always friendly. Sushi is a special thing. Each restaurant has its own unique specialty rolls. In this case it's the Dollar Tree. Sortve an Americanized version of sushi, with it's crunchy deep fried coating and gooey melted cream cheese center. This would be my recommendation for people who want to try sushi but aren't keen on fish. Their appetizers are good too. The dumplings were fried crispy, chicken satay was thick and juicy. Tastes like their sauces are made in house. I could ask but I'm kinda shy. The picture here is my Dollar Tree roll, affordably priced at $11. At most other places you can't even look at the specialty roll section without spending $15 minimum. My mom got Thai fried rice. You can see the chicken satay in the middle, looking thick. Get the Thai iced tea. You won't regret it
Food is excellent, all staff very friendly, excellent place for a relaxing quality meal.
Nice quiet place... Food was unexpectedly very good... And I say this cuz I personally find Thai places locally too sweet... But this place all the app, and entrees were delicious. The service was fast as well.. Only thing I didn't like was the bubble tea... It's pre-made and taste syrupy.. So that was a toss... But everything else was on Point! I would Def go again.
Bua Thai & Sushi is hands down my husband’s and my favorite place to eat. The food is consistently fresh, and the portions are generous, ensuring we leave satisfied every time. The owner, Lex, is incredibly friendly and always makes a point to check in with us, ensuring everything is perfect, which it always is. The wait staff and chef is just as hospitable, going above and beyond to provide excellent service. The restaurant itself is spotless – cleanliness is a top priority for us, and Bua exceeds our expectations. My husband always opts for the sashimi and often takes home one of their delicious Thai soups. As for me, I love the orange chicken box because it offers a variety of options that never disappoint. Every visit makes us feel like part of the family, and we couldn’t recommend Bua Thai & Sushi more!
This is the best Thai food ive had in my entire life. Outside of Thailand I don't think you will find curry this good anywhere. The Thai tea is amazing and so much more can be loved from this menu. The only thing better than the food is the staff. They are so kind and helpful. Always a pleasure to see. Thank you for the best Thai food I've ever had.
Really liked this place. Food was very good. Nice atmosphere & clean with good wait staff. Will go back.
My boyfriend and I love this place. The food is always freshly made. The staff and atmosphere are amazing as well
The sushi (California roll) had an odd aftertaste. I ordered it as delivery and they made it much more quickly than expected which was nice.
Great for a quiet Saturday lunch Lunch specials quite reasonably priced and the sushi/sashimi was great. Delicious Thai iced tea!
Small and quaint. Brings in a small crowd, so if you want privacy this place is ideal. Food taste is very comparable to other Thai restaurants.
Went here with few work friends for lunch. They have a great lunch menu. I got the drunken noodles with chicken. It was good and filling. Its comes with chilli sauce on the side so you can add how much even you want which is great. It's crowded during lunch but we got a table. The service was good and the food came out pretty quick. Will visit again.
This restaurant has a really cute space and location. Charming atmosphere. The food is pretty good, but I got a green curry and it was rather oddly flavoured. It also seemed to have some sort of dairy product, which I wasn't expecting, though I didn't say anything to the server to be fair. It just tasted odd, not quite like green curry. Very nice veggies and tofu though.
Family friendly atmosphere and yummy pad Thai chicken. We were in vacation and chose this place in a whim. Glad we did! Huge, delicious portions that my husband and I shared.
A bit hit and miss on items but what they do well they do very well. I strongly recommend the yellow curry, pad see-ew, and drunken noodles. Rice dishes and sushi are only standard in my experiences.
I ordered from the Thai Lunch Boxes – BOX #10. It comes with a Spicy Tuna Roll, six pieces of sashimi, and pineapple fried rice (with the option of beef, chicken, or shrimp). I’ve attached the entire menu so you can browse the different options they offer. Personally, I really enjoyed the food I ordered. I have no negative critiques—it was filling and satisfying. Even though I had lunch around 1 p.m. EST, by the time I wrote this review at 7 p.m. EST, I was still full. I would definitely recommend checking it out. However, my boyfriend ordered the RAD-NA, which is a soup with flat noodles, egg, and vegetables in a Thai gravy sauce. You also get to choose your preferred meat with it. His experience wasn’t as good as mine. His review: “The food came with spicy red sauce and pepper. Very filling. The noodle type and texture were new to me, since the restaurant is Vietnamese. I ordered it with thin beef slices. The yellow, spiced side dish of rice had a particularly Southeast Asian flavour. (I also tried some of her pineapple fried rice with shrimp.)” Also, amazing staff.
This isn’t meant to knock the place as a whole but warning on a single dish. They may very well do some stuff well. I ordered Pho for delivery. What I got was a soup, but definitely not anything anybody would consider traditional or even a new aged spin on Pho. There was a broth, but it most certainly was not bone broth. Not terribly flavorful. In it were weird chunks of tough beef in the broth already. Sort of the size of beef jerky chunks. No other meat on the side. No rare beef on the side. No tripe. No meatballs. I did get bean sprouts on the side, as well as bok choy which was a first for me. There was no lime, mint, jalapeño, hoisin, or sriracha. If you are looking for real pho, take a hard pass on this one. I had some spring rolls as well that were alright.
Not as bad as some reviewers make it seem, but not great either. The rice was almost like risotto, it was just way too sticky and mushy. The fish was fresh and the service was good. And even though it's not cheap you get a good amount of food. It's just not a place for people who are super picky about their sushi or want a more traditional approach to how it's made. Everything is kind of basic
I ordered online through Bento box. Over a span of about 10 minutes and then about 15 minutes later I received a series of text telling me that they were working on the order and then the last one was to tell me that the order was ready for pick up. I walked in and they had no idea who I was and pulled the order off of the printer. It may not be these guys that suck. Oh wait yes it is. What’s the point of updates or ordering ahead?
Pai thai with beef is not good. The taste is not right and felt like pasta instead. Seems like they put beef afterward and not well cooked. Hope it only a special case.
Highly recommend you stay away from this place...they not only screwed our order up, the owner refused to bring the food they forgot to add to our order and told us we have to come there...but i ordered delivery. Im not coming back....that was the point of getting delivery. The spring rolls are not cooked all the way. Akuma is better
I stopped in for a weekday sushi lunch, not for the Thai dishes. Everything started out well enough, as I was escorted to the 8-seat, mostly empty, sushi bar. The regular indoor and patio tables held about a dozen other customers as I entered. I was pleased to see cloth napkins and actual hashi but noticed the muted television in the background and was then handed a menu with lots of photos of some else's sushi. Sorry, I haven't been a fan of picture menus for a very long time. Seeing a couple of temaki available, I ordered a handful of nigiri, a temaki and a maki. The physical sushi bar here dominates the center of this restaurant. You would not guess that reading the limited sushi menu, and the sushi bar also seems to diminish itself. The elevated display cooler completely hides the chef (photo) - they might as well prepare their creations in another time zone. The whole idea of a sushi bar is to interact with the chef. My experience found that very difficult here. I enjoyed a simple soup waiting for the main. The two-plate main was simply decorated, but a bit uneven. The rice itself was not bad. The spicy salmon temaki presentation was a bit sloppy, but the taste was good, and it was actually spicy - a healthy dose of cayenne pepper seemed to be mixed in. The nigiri also had some lower notes. I was surprised that the hotate was prepared as careless gunkenmaki, instead of a simple nigiri. The pieces themselves did not appear evenly cut, but random chunks. If I was suspicious, I'd think this was solely to allow the chef to use cheaper frozen scallop pieces instead of whole scallops. On another nigiri, the chef apparently tore a visible hole in the white fish, and didn't bother to remove, correct or even cover the error (photo). Perhaps I am exaggerating the importance of presentation as part of the sushi experience. Overall, I get the feeling that the chef was, at best, distracted, while creating my meal. I'll probably return, but if the chef can hide behind the counter while assembling sushi, I have no reason to expect an improvement any time soon. 2019 06 26. S 16.
We were not impressed with this Thai food place, everything is either too sweet or not the correct taste. Not a place that I would choose to have a meal unless I ran out of choice. And if you lower your expectation and consider this place as a takeout, then it is way too expensive. They are very friendly though. I hope they will improve their quality so that they can play in the same league as the food in Clifton Park/Albany.
Been here 5 times so far. The sushi is good for the most part, with a couple exceptions. I still have yet to find a main dish here that I like. I LOVE pad thai. I HATE the pad thai here, though. I've ordered it twice, once with shrimp, once with pork. Both times, the smell made me lose my appetite. It smelled like wet dog. Taste was okay, but was just that, okay. I've also tried pineapple fried rice and drunken noodles. Both were nothing to write home about. Miso soup was good, but lacking in tofu. Portions are large here, so I can't complain about not leaving full. However, my wallet left very empty, as the prices were a just a bit high for what you get.
I stopped going. The first few times was pretty good ...the last few times were disappointing at best. Overcooked chicken & beef, stinky sushi and sashimi ... Happy a new choice opened.
Very disappointed with the staff not the food. Never got to try the food walked in at 9:00 p.m. the sign clearly states they close at 9:30 p.m. and they told me they couldn't serve me.
Over priced especially for what you get. I had pad Thai noodles. The noodles were so packed in they were just a big lump had three prices of chicken and two prices of shrimp. Order soup got the wrong kind. Cost $5 and it was broth with a few pieces of veg. You can't be the most expensive Thai in the area and skimp on the quality.
Some of the worst take out I’ve had in a long time, tasteless, dry, missing items. Super disappointed considering the variety I ordered and the amount I spent, none of it was good.
Ordered the vegetable Pad Thai for lunch. I was very disappointed. It lacked many ingredients of regular Pad Thai. There was no egg, no garlic, no ginger, and NO PEANUTS. There wasn't even any sauce apart from a separate chili paste; which tasted very acidic and tangy instead of sweet and spicy. The vegetables that it did have tasted as they came straight from a freezer bag into a microwave; no seasoning on them, not even salt. And the noodles were the most disappointing; they were in a big clump. They seemed days old and reheated, they would not separate from their congealed block and were coated in a bland oil. I would not go here again, nothing was fresh. Nothing was seasoned correctly, and they didn't even use the most basic correct ingredients.
Food poisoning from the sushi. Absolutely disgusting. We called the health department.
OVERPRICED!!!. The sushi is just ok but the prices are $2 over priced per item. What is this Manhatten, no.. Its malta ny. I would go here often if it was reasonably priced. I guess they think that since there the only game in town, they can charge whatever they want. Just look at the prices on the website. Do they think that $6.95 for a spicy tuna roll is good? No This should be around $5. And do they think there fooling anyone by adding a .95 cents. $7 for a spicy tuna roll. Yikes Again $2.95 for a individual piece of sushi ala carte. Wow. 2 pieces for $6. Makes me feel great bleeding people dry for $$. To not be angry the whole review. The quality was worth eating, just not worth paying. Avoid this place until the prices go down...
Ordered to go: The house salad lettuce was dirty still and I found a couple fruit flies. The ginger dressing lacked just that- ginger. I threw the salad out. The sushi was alright though some of the fish was... fishy.. and not in a good way. The wasabi had absolutely no heat. I will not be ordering from here again.
Read about this place sounded good. Drove almost 30 minutes to try it. Got home and half the order was missing. Called and they said they had made a mistake and left off the items and I could come back and get them. I explained that I was 30 minutes away and didn’t want the food after it had sat out for so long. They refunded my money, no offer to make fresh dinners or to have them delivered to me. Will not be going there again
Had the pad thai- it was bland and tasteless. Portions were large and could be 2 meals.
Food is okay quality but not when considering the prices they charge. They do have better food than most delivery options in Malta so we do order frequently. Every time we order we receive very little wasabi and pickled ginger for the sushi. They also give ridiculously small cups of sause for the crab rangoon as well as the spring rolls. We are spending $80 PER ORDER! Give us enough sauce to enjoy our expensive meal. The kicker is the pineapple fried rice, it's supposed to have PINEAPPLE and the two time we have ordered we received NONE. (No raisins either, wich they claim are in it) This is the only bad restaurant review I have ever posted and feel it is a shame that it has come to this. If you decide to order and you don't get what you paid for than please leave them feedback. It's the only way there service will improve.
The food was great, we bought a lot of rolls, but when I asked for a plate of noodles for my 1 year old, I didn’t expect to be charged 16 dollars for it. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Won’t be going back. Check your bill thoroughly.
I ordered via Grubhub. The food was mediocre, but what floored me was the revelation of an $8 extra charge for an "order change" that I never made. What an amazingly brazen rip off! I guess that they're going to get away with it, especially since I got no response from Grubhub--but I'll post this as a warning to anyone else, so they can avoid the rip off.
⭐ 1/5 – Extremely Disappointed With the Decline in Quality I’ve been ordering from this Thai restaurant for a long time because the food used to be good. But the last two times have been a huge disappointment, and today was honestly the worst. We ordered Drunken Noodles and Vegetable Fried Rice with extra egg, and both dishes were almost inedible. • Fried Rice: The rice was completely mushy, like it had been overcooked. There was actually liquid sitting at the bottom of the container. We requested vegetables, but all we found was a few pieces of broccoli—nothing else. The texture and flavor were so off that we couldn’t enjoy it at all. • Drunken Noodles: Better than the fried rice, but still far from acceptable. The chicken was extremely dry, like it had been reheated multiple times. The overall dish lacked freshness and flavor. For food that costs around $18 per dish, this quality is just not acceptable. We ended up wasting most of the meal, which is frustrating. Something has definitely changed—either the chef or the way the dishes are being prepared. Really hope the restaurant pays attention to these issues because the decline has been noticeable, and customers like us expect better.
