This is an ‘ole faithful’ eatery. We’ve been here multiple times and tried different items in the menu. So far, we don’t have any complaints. Walking in the front doors, you’re greeted by a large fish tank and the hostess podium. The ambiance is nice with soft modern music, a full bar to the left side of the restaurant Carter was our waiter and brought us The buttery croissants to start the adventure. We ordered the ribs and chicken tenders and the shrimp platter. The side salad was large enough for 2 and was fresh. The shrimp were hot and crispy. The ribs were smothered in a light BBQ sauce. We ordered the chocolate cake sundae and it was large and delicious. We had to take it home with us since we could not finish it all. The only negative (kinda hard to say it out loud) was the AC was working over time and the ceiling fans made it a little cold for us. It wasn’t enough to keep us from coming back. We will be back!!!!

Our first time going to this location was amazing thanks to Mia our server. Mia was very attentive since the beginning, her kind smile made me like her instantly but her customer service was definitely above and beyond. She made sure to come by our table plenty of times to see if we were okay. The food was also great and was brought out with great time. We had a party of 12 and not once did she seem overwhelmed or bothered with our requests. We will definitely be back! Thank you Mia. We need more people like you in the world!

This was both mine and my wife's first time to a Cheddar's restaurant. We were both pleasantly surprised at how good the prices were along with the portions of food. The long Island tea was great, not overly strong and not weak either. The full rack of ribs was ALOT of food! I couldn't finish it all and I like to eat lol. My wife had the shrimp Alfredo and she really enjoyed it as well. We will be back again. Our server Kendal was great. She was polite, professional and checked on us enough, but not too much.

Both food and service were great! I ordered the chicken tender meal and I received 5 huge chicken tenders, fries, and red beans & rice, and my son ordered the chicken fried chicken meal with mashed potatoes. Everything came out hot and fresh and was delicious. The honey butter croissants are to die for! Our server was very nice and attentive, and the restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere.

Service is always great. The food is good (great for the type of eatery), but not top notch. Their mango tea with the orange slice is delicious. There is always a good mix of patrons and I've never seen subpar service.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience dining here! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It's 8:20pm, cheddars closes at 10pm. All chairs are already up on every table, incl the bar area, no one came to the host stand to seat our party for 10 min and only after we walked around trying to make eye contact with anyone present. No waiter came for an additional 15 minutes. But instead.. a person who did not identify himself by name or position told us we had to move tables bc the server for the section we were sat in was sent home. We moved 4 tables over to the booths on the other side of the room and waited another 10 min to be greeted. I don't want to sit eye level with the feet of chairs being so close to my food. This was absolutely unacceptable! And I WISH I was a secret shopper so I could rank them even lower to corporate!!

Went there recently on a weeknight. Though we got seated quickly, it took quite a while to get served. Also there were no place settings nor napkins. We also were not offered complimentary crescent rolls. My wife got the spanagna with chicken added but was only given a fork (needed at least a knife) while I ordered a pot pie. But no napkins brought us and I had to ask for them repeatedly before I finally got up to get them from the bar. I liked my pot pie though I wish I had ordered something else. My wife was not enthused about her meal. And server never came around for refills. While I have liked Cheddars well on all my previous visits, last night was a disappointment. My wife doesn’t ever want to come back, though I’d like to.

Ate there last night with my wife. The croissant, queso cheese and meat with chips, pot pie, and broccoli casserole were all great. The main entree and baked potato were a big disappointment though. The potato was weird (texturally) and cracked as I went to take bites, the salmon was very overcooked and a bit over seasoned, the shrimp was so overcooked and overseasoned that I tried to pass them off to my wife. The rice under the salmon was dry and hard. The queso and drinks came timely but our sides and meal weren't served until well over an hour after we got our queso and chips. The server walked past at one point and we looked up as she was walking by and she said, " you haven't gotten your food yet? I thought someone brought it to you". About 5 minutes later, she came back with our food, forgot 1 of the two pot pies, and the order of cheese potatoes my wife had asked for. The food was hot so I'm assuming it was microwaved or something to explain how overcooked everything was and how the stuffed potato texture was off. As a sous chef myself, I generally don't have high expectations when eating out, but the latter half of my meal was an extreme disappointment.

Sam was our server!!! He was amazing, at first, until he literally threw my salad on the table as he was flying by. The dressing spilled out onto the salad rim making a mess. The salad was delicious, but there wasnt near enough lettuce to balance out the dressing. I waited for him to walk by so I could get more lettuce. He didnt just walk by our table, he RAN and never acknowledged me FIVE times. His girlfriend did! She made eye contact every time she passed by and smiled!! Finally, when Sam decided he was ready to stop, my salad was still sitting there waiting for more lettuce. I explained to him why I wasnt eating it and showed him how saturated it was with the dressing that spilled. I didnt add any extra and still had half a cup of dressing left. He said, "They do not like to give out more lettuce, but Ill see what i can do"! What he did was bring me about 1/2 cup of lettuce in a HOT bowl! I ate it anyway. I would have paid for the extra lettuce, but he made sure to let me know that management did not want customers to have extra lettuce. My lemon chicken was tender and delicious, but the rice was so salty I did not eat it. It was gross and for what I paid, they skimped on the rice, as well. That plate should've been covered in rice. Cutting back on rice to save money? Shameful!! My son got the Monte Cristo and really loved it. The croissants looked fantastic! Lol! My son took them home. I over tipped him at 24%. I told the manager to give him a raise, but the more I thought about my true experience, the more I realized that he did not do a very good job with my table. He wouldn't make eye contact, he threw my plate on the table and after we were done, he asked for a good review. Sorry Sam. You need to make eye contact every time you walk by. I was not impressed with your service at our table.

Went to Conroe location. This was my first time going to Cheddar's ever. I had heard good things about them. That was quickly diminished I had chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and a salad along with iced tea. The waitress brought the crescent roll, then several minutes later brings the tea. She was very inattentive. Almost 20 minutes before the meal was brought out. At the time I order, I specifically asked for extra dressing and extra gravy. Upon my food being brought to me, only one small container of dressing was there and no extra gravy. Had to ask her to bring another dressing and another tea, she could see the tea was empty and made no initiative on it. And had to pay 99 cents extra for a salad bc it's not considered a side item. She literally was at my table only to take my order, bring the order and showed up after I was done. She asked if I wanted dessert or anything else. I declined and said I was done. Never once informed me of the electronic payment kiosk on the table, I had to figure that out. As I was leaving a review on the electronic device, it timed out, so I was unable to leave the review. I also opted for email receipt which I have not received. I can say I will not be back.

This location has gone down hill! The last time I ate here there were a lot of gnats fling around. I waited a couple of months to go back and I ordered something to go and what I go was not what I ordered. I love their Artichoke Spinach Dip, they have the best around. On the way through, I thought I would order some, only to get home and realize it was Queso with Spinach it. I called back to speak with a manager, and stayed on hold for 15 minutes, so I hung up and called back. I waited an additional 15 minutes before a manager finally came to the phone. I explained what was wrong with my order and she tried to tell me what didn’t think that was possible because the cheeses are on the opposite side of the kitchen. I told her, I know what I received in my order, and I described the waitress that brought me my to go order. Long story short, because I lived out of town, the manager said she would refund me my money. NEVER RECEIVED MY REFUND. I will now. This restaurant needs to improve, I’ve never had a problem at the Spring location, maybe it’s time to return to that location because the Conroe location is NOT IT!

Went to Cheddar's last night for my granddaughters birthday. She had called on Friday to reserve for 18 people at 6:30. Gave them her name and phone number. Got there and was told they had tried to call her to confirm, got no answer so they had canceled. They had taken her number down wrong. But they said they could seat us in about 30 minutes. About 35 minutes and they said they were ready for us. We all got seated and we're advised they were out of their croissants. When taking our food order we were told they were out of their pot pies and Monte Cristo sandwiches. About 20 minutes after food orders were taken our waitress, Shantelle, came out and told us they were out of the child's hamburgers and that they couldn't substitute it with a regular size hamburger. So something else was ordered. Food started coming out and those of us that had ordered their broccoli cheese casserole had a different side. We were told that apparently they were out of the casserole so a different side had been substituted, without asking us what we wanted. Then Shantelle came out and told the birthday girl that normally they would bring her a dessert with candles but they were out of the dessert. I don't know what they normally bring out for birthdays but I doubt they were out of every dessert they carried, so apparently they weren't willing to substitute with something else. I have never been to a restaurant that was out of so many items and unwilling, and obviously didn't care, to work with us. I will say that our waitress, Shantelle, was great. Not only did she have to work with a large table, but had to keep telling us half of what we wanted to order was not available. We will NOT be going back to Cheddar's.

Went in on Friday evening for a light quick bite. Our server Lane had a big table so we got no service. He did not have time for us. We had to ask another waiter if we could get some butter for our potato but he sent the Manager over. This man was not friendly at all and acted like we were a burden. We go to Cheddars quite often but the attitudes of their employees and especially the Manager is making it to where we do not want to dine there anymore. There are alot more restaurants in the area that do not treat you like you are a Burden and are Happy to give you good Service.

Not sure I'll be going again. We brought my son's gf for her birthday and she had to change her plate twice because they were out of things. No baked potatoes no steaks no sweet heat wing dipping sauce no chicken Alfredo I mean, crazy. Got there when the doors opened. First to order and had to pack up our food 1 and a half hours later or we would miss our movie we prepaid for. I got 2 bites of my food. The onion rings were amazing! The waiter was literally in I don't care mode. Maybe he didn't know how to handle all the disappointing things he had to tell us. I felt bad for him until he started ignoring us.
