The bartenders were so attentive and nice to us honestly the best bar we have been to so far. The staff deserves a raise for how quick and fast they got to us. Love this place. Dennis lindsay and autumn are the best.
Great bar with great atmosphere. A wonderful variety of beers on tap and a few fresh squeezed juices. Sometimes the bands can be a little loud and it can be difficult to hear other people sitting near you if you're outside.
Awesome bar in Denton! I loved the atmosphere as well as the NUMEROUS bourbon and draft beer selections. They have a beautiful, spacious back yard with concert stage and misters/heaters depending on the weather.
This is the coolest bar in Denton. Excellent beer selection, great atmosphere, and an exhaustive list of live performances (sometimes with cover charge, sometimes without). Do yourself a favor and grab a beer from the bar, and get a seat outside next to one of three glass-top fireplaces. Bring your friends.
Super nice, laid back vibe! Great place to catch an outdoor concert and great selection of drinks at the bar
Friendly bartender. Happened to walk by on a weekday and it looked like a nice spot to have a beer. The outdoor space is very nice. The parking next to it was free if while you have a drink.
Such a chill and clean place! The bathrooms were spotless and had lots of toilet paper. Owners and employees clearly take pride in their establishment!
Brett, Kristen, and Zoe were amazing hostess’s. Gave great suggestions on drinks that really tasted amazing, cause I tried everyone’s drinks. They were also very knowledgeable on their drinks. Also, they played amazing music, and if they like your choice in music they will play it. Definitely come here it reminds me of being home in Seattle.

So happy my friend put me on to this place, love the atmosphere and the fun approach to their house cocktails and shots. They're all so quirky, but DELICIOUS. And the staff is so wonderful. Their patio area is also great for those perfect weather outings
We did not eat. However, we enjoyed the local brews!
Absolutely love this place. I go on weekend motorcycle pilgrimages to the Denton area pretty often and always end up here for a refreshment. I've also been here at night with live music outside and it is just a great vibe overall. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking out this heavenly beer garden.
I like this place not just because of the large variety of beer that they have but also becuz they had the nicest couple of guys that were working there the night my daughter's and I were there(22nd of August). I also like that the pool table's are outside and they allow anyone with musical talent weather it be singing or playing an instrument perform on their stage which is also outside. We had a nice time there and will definitely be going back....
Great indoor and even better outdoor seating. Fantastic for live music. VERY friendly bar staff. Rotating on tap beer selection. Liquor (some great scotch) and wine. AND cold brew coffee on tap that is fantastic. This is my bar in Denton.
Harvest house have a great band that plays every other Wednesday called Sol Kitchen. They are outstanding, it's a group of excellent musicians from all over. They have a guitarist named Nathan Fenner, who they call purples is one of the BEST guitar player we ever seen. A great bassist, horns and keyboardist. You must go and enjoy some excellent entertainment. Good atmosphere as well. We go every other Wednesday just to heat them.
One of the top bars in Denton! Great selection of taps and mixed drinks. Laid back atmosphere. Perfect place to pop by anytime.
Great venue with awesome atmosphere. Friendly bartenders. Inside and outside seating with many different lounge areas to satisfy a variety of lounging needs. Super clean bathrooms if that's your thing. Good bands and djs come through often. If you're looking for a back patio type bar with some class, this is the best Denton has to offer (and that's no knock on the others)!
Love the atmosphere at this bar. Would love to go back and sit outside. It was too cold when we went. But outdoor patio looks like Fun! Food trucks and tasty drinks will keep me coming back here over and over.
Very cool spot. The sound producers we’re so cool and heart warm and kind and just an amazing help when I was preforming there!
I went here for my 22nd birthday and had a great time. The drinks were nicely made and the live music was a bonus. There are pool tables and a dart board I'd your wanting games with your drinks. If you just want to relax they have both inside and outside sitting based on the weather.
Favorite beer garden In Denton hands down! It's the only beer garden with pool tables! (That I'm aware of) They also have darts and Foosball. Beer selection is pretty darn good. Various nights you'll enjoy live music, trivia and plenty of other entertainment. Staff is always top notch! Winter time is enjoyable too. They have outdoor seating with fire puts to stay cozy 🔥🤗
This is a nice venue with live music. Most of the seating is outside, however, so it might be best to avoid during bad weather. Their draft list was quite good. It had dozens of choices from IPAs to stouts to sours.
I've enjoyed this place each of the 4 or 5 times that I've been! Always good and diverse selection, decent cocktails, and friendly servers. Indoor seating is usually really noisy, especially if there's a live band playing. However, outdoor seating is fantastic and provides some good shade.
Great selection of beer. Nice upscale place. Would like to see a band here, stage looks awesome for an outdoor concert. Lots more fresh juice you can add alcohol too so you can boost your body while enjoying the night. The pool tables have a bit to be desired but they are playable and it's hard to expect much when they are outside in the elents.
Always love going to Harvest House, great place and great selection of beers and ciders. It was really hot today and we had our dog with us, they allowed us to sit inside with her which helped a lot. Always friendly service here.
This place is always a blast! The drinks are great and pretty reasonable, and the atmosphere is very chill. I love the outdoor space they have with the lights and the fire pits. Sometimes they'll have a band playing too, which is a lot of fun.
Fantastic service. You’ll never have to wait on drinks. Great atmosphere and people all around. My favorite bar in Denton. They always have events and live music to top it off.
Excellent place to meet friends. The beer variety is wonderful. Love trying new stouts there. Love having the option of Dublin Dr. Peppers. Only one slight gripe. I love to drink them cold from the bottle. But they are kind enough to put a couple under ice till I am ready for it. Just a very nice, very dog friendly, comfortable, inviting place too meet.
BEAUTIFUL place! Both the inside and outside are gorgeous and clean. It's a really welcoming and safe place. Staff is friendly and attentive. They have lots of cool events going on and it's a great place for socializing!!
Easily the best bar in the Denton square. The setting is super ambiguous but feels homey and cozy. Additionally, their outdoor heaters are WARM so it's a great option if you want to enjoy being outside on a cold day. There are tons of events held here weekly that are usually high-quality. This is a bar that would be appropriate for dates, families, friends, loners, and pets. Also, (how could I forget) they have a FANTASTIC rotating draft beer selection. Update: It's even better now. Service is fantastic and drinks are amazing, as always.
I really don't go out much for drinks these days now that I'm older and don't have much free time. This place is probably my favorite place to go in Denton if the weather is nice. Great outdoor seating. Love the food. Drunks aren't cheap bit that's to be expected. Denis is one of the best bartenders, the staff overall is good from my experience. Enjoyable.
This place is my favorite place for a drink. The staff is tremendously friendly and knowledgeable on drinks and craft beer. The outside seating is hands down the best in all of Denton. The outdoor stage and music is also great! The staff does a great job keeping everything clean and fresh!
Very nice place. Love the patio. They heat it in the winter, so you can enjoy it year round. The beer selection is pretty top notch and not overpriced.
First time going and had a blast. Love the atmosphere. The outdoor patio area is super awesome and 2 great bands played. Loved the live music. Tried a new drink...loved it. My date was very impressed as well. Will ho bac for sure...soon.
Absolutely adore this place! They have the most quaint outdoor ambiance and the staff is always super helpful and friendly. Their rotating beer selection is some of the best I have encountered and love their live music lineups and drink deals/specials. It's my go-to place for relaxing and having a drink and taking people that are visiting from out of town.
Gone to HH a few times over the past several years. They always have the best atmosphere, entertainment, beers, and service. I feel at home here.
An amazing little place that is definitely one to check out! Awesome beer selection and the bartenders are always knowledgeable and keen to help you decide. Abby was a sweetheart and I will definitely be coming back to see them! Relaxed inside with a few tables, then a beautiful backyard where they hold live music, movies sometimes, or comedy; depending on the evening.
Amazing beer and Kambucha selection on tap with tasty curated cocktails. Really knowledgeable, polite staff that were all really easy to look at if ya catch my drift. All reasonably priced. The patio was comfortable. I'd love to go back again and catch some live music.
The best Happy hour in Denton! Great beer selection and great service from the bartenders.
Melody , Lindsay , and Autumn gave us the best service we could have asked them for. We had a lot of drinks and they took care of us. They also even helped us out with the pool table. They made our night the best night that we could’ve had in a while. Harvest house is the place to be at if you want a good time good drinks and great service. Thank you for reading this post! :)
Don't let Google fool you they don't serve food but they are absolutely the best atmosphere. Wish more people knew about them but as an introvert I love it when I go and there's only like 3 people lol Drinks are pretty decent prices. They have some thc drinks too and are super queer & pet friendly!
Autumn, Melody, and Lindsay were awesome!!! Harvest house is my favorite bar and I will stay loyal🫡. Tonight when I went they were celebrating their 10 year anniversary and it was so much fun!! Highly recomend and the best bar to go to on the Denton square! :) Can’t wait to go back!
I've been going to this bar for years. I went to my first drag show here yesterday, and it was the most fun I’ve had in a long time! The performances were amazing, and the performers were the sweetest people! I will be coming back here again for another legendary Harvest House drag show.
great place to talk beer. the guys in here i schmoozed with knew what they were talking about. helped me pick out the "gorlami" by equal parts brewery. Great outdoor vibe as well. I'm just a truck driver that shows up wherever and I like these guys
Great place to chill and take is some local talent. The scene is relaxed and spacious to accommodate any size gathering. The staff are super nice and as a bonus they are pet friendly. The stage is spacious and the house sound engineer was very supportive is getting me set. I enjoyed this venue and look forward to my next visit. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting some clean, chill entertainment in an open patio environment.
Super friendly staff. Love the music tens of space. Excellent selection of drinks.
friendly staff, great atmosphere! the drink specials are an amazing value & the food truck in the parking lot is delicious! a wonderful venue for a celebration, date night, or a drink & snack while you study or work remotely. they have non-alcoholic options & are child- & pet-friendly until 7pm.
We usually hit this location two or three times a month. We really enjoy the atmosphere and amazing service! The outdoor seating is great. The heaters help when it’s cold. And they often have fun games, music and creative events that we are always on the look for.
I absolutely adore this place they always have the coolest events going on. Love the service. Love the acks. Johnny's karaoke night. And his goth night. Are amazing.
Really cool bar with live music and a stage, a huge courtyard outside with sitting areas and even little outdoor couch cubbies to hang out with your friends or significant other! There's hang out and sitting space inside too, of course. There are pool tables and darts as well as TONS of drinks on tap and in bottles and cans, plus good mixed drinks...this is now my new favorite place to grab and drink and hang out in the cool atmosphere of this little hidden gem 😁
We stayed at this wonderful place for a “girl’s trip” and it was perfect! So well-appointed, thoughtfully prepared, and full of peace. Thank you for a lovely experience. We hope to be back again soon! Highly recommend!
The vibe of this place is superior to pretty much every other bar downtown, like not just the decor or the fantastic backyard/patio but the bartenders too! I got chatting with Lindsey and Autumn and Melody and their chemistry together and the way they remembered my name made me feel so at home. This is definitely my regular spot for good drinks and good times with friends.
This place is awesome! The bartenders were friendly. The drinks were affordable and there's a HUGE variety to choose from. Personally, I love the Slow and Low Lemonade they have on tap. The patio and stage area is amazing! It's comfy and really nice. I'm definitely going back again and again.
Not because I live in Denton, but I just love here. I think I've been here more than four times. I really love their cocktails and wine, especially Chardonnay But last time I ordered jack and coke, it was little watery. I think the coke was old. Otherwise it is good! has good music, atmosphere, and even food truck (pickled carrots)! I am not sure if this bar owns the food truck but their food was really good, especially taco!! There are heater outside in the winter. But people smoke outside so I normally stayed inside. Food ★★★★★ Beer & Wine & Cocktails ★★★★★ Atmosphere ★★★★☆
A huge outdoor patio. A full variety of beers, ciders, and crafted cocktails. The pancakes were super fluffy and the handmade sodas intriguing. Harvest House is a cafe that locally sources their ingredients and is in fact enforcing mask policies. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
A variety of loose leaf teas to choose from, delicious coffee roasts, smooth lattes (dairy free / vegan options available) with espresso so good added flavors aren’t necessary. A calming daytime atmosphere that’s perfect for sipping a cup of something while playing one of the board games they have onsite.
Went here last night to see Lazy DC perform and it was awesome. Even though it was a cold night, they have fire pits and a heated patio so it wasn't too bad. I don't really drink alcohol...so I was resigned to drinking water or soda. But pleasantly enough, they had hot tea and coffee as well. They also have smoothies and all kinds of other stuff. A great place...a great show....and a great time. We will definitely make the two hour drive to come back again.
The ONLY downside i had to this place was I’m not much of a drinker and when i went to order i was pretty overwhelmed. But! This place is really nice! The drinks were good! It was a bar that I could actually study at while drinking (very important) and the food trucks were awesome!! The atmosphere was friendly and inviting and I really enjoyed my visit here. I will for sure be back!
I love harvest house because the drinks are always on point and the atmosphere is usually lively, yet still chill. The service is hit or miss depending on who you get but I've had some wonderful waiters and can't complain. It's the bar in town to relax at after the end of a long week.
I have to say, most days Harvest House is a pretty solid bar. I'm consistently impressed with their craft beer selection. Eastside and Oak Street are both around the corner, and despite the fact that they both have more taps, the interesting beers from both others combined don't match Harvest House selection. The only reason they get 4 stars and not 5 is because I consistently have to wait longer than I'd like for a beer. They never seem to have enough staff for the demand.
Good beer selection, but not stellar. LOTS of space inside and out. The outside part is amazing! Bartenders are super friendly and helpful. If you've never been, go now!
Nice patio, outer area with plenty of space inside as well. Beer selection was plentiful but of that's not your thing of course other beverages as well. Service was friendly and responsive.
Harvest House is an awesome amphitheater live musical performance venue, obviously designed by a bohemian that enjoyed a relaxing beer and ribald festivities. It’s attractiveness is in the attention to details that make it a go-to on days or nights, after the normal work day rat race has ended, and the correct amount of energy and local flavor allows; try your favorite style, from lager to amber ale, and stouts. Remember when patronizing to tip well for good service, and yes, tips are exempt from taxes. Cheers, Mark C. Fearing, Ph.D. ☯️🇺🇸🙏🏻🇳🇿🌎♿️
I recently dined at Harvest House, and I was thoroughly impressed with their extensive selection of beers and food. The establishment boasts a diverse and well-curated beer menu, offering everything from craft ales to imported lagers. Whether you're a seasoned beer enthusiast or just looking to try something new, Harvest House has you covered. The food options at Harvest House complement the beer selection perfectly. The menu features a wide array of dishes, from hearty pub classics like burgers and fish and chips to more sophisticated options like gourmet salads and charcuterie boards. The quality of ingredients and the presentation of each dish were top-notch. The atmosphere at Harvest House is also worth mentioning. It strikes a perfect balance between a cozy, inviting pub and a trendy hangout spot. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the beers and menu, which enhanced the overall experience. I highly recommend Harvest House to anyone looking for a place to enjoy great beers and delicious food in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. It's a gem for beer aficionados and foodies alike.
This beautiful bar has a huge outdoor patio, a covered stage area, and usually has a food truck nearby. You'll have an enormous selection at the taps, including some non-alcoholic fare, and a friendly, relax atmosphere . A lot of folks were sad to see the automotive business leave and this bar take its place . I have to admit that I miss having a spot so close to work where I can get my car inspected. But we didn't get a bad trade off with Harvest House.
Good vibe and atmosphere, great patio and live music on weekends. If you look under the age of 25 you will most likely be judged that way. I’m 22 and walked in with my 21 y/o boyfriend and immediately was given cold service and bad attitude from the bartender. He closed our tab without letting us tip… assuming he put 20% thinking we weren’t going to tip at all? That and the weak drink he made me left a bad taste in my mouth.
If you like supporting a bar that doesn’t pay their musicians this is the place for you! Relying on the spare change of the patrons while the bar pockets the rest. Rethink your business strategy asking at the door for donations for the band that’s playing that’s literally made to be a event. Either pay the band and have the event free for everyone promoting people to come see them. Or charge tickets and have the money go towards the band
This place deserves Zero stars because of how rude the bartenders are. Amazing drinks but I don’t expect to be yelled at when I’m paying and ordering drinks. Seems that they lack communication skills since they are all rushing to get your order like a pack of wolves even when we’ve already ordered and someone is making them. If my drinks get made twice because you don’t know how to listen and communicate it’s not my fault, maybe you shouldn’t be money hungry for tips. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who wants good service.
When I first came here I genuinely did love it because it was the first bar I’ve ever been too and it was good at first but now I’m starting to notice that the bartenders tend to prefer some folks more than other. I thought this was an inclusive bar but it’s starting to feel like less and less like that. One thing I notice from day one is that there are literally no POC customers which to me is already a red flag, and two that most of the bartenders and staff is white. The main bartenders that I see there are always so rude and and keep giving dirty looks and it’s more obvious when it’s practically empty and you and your friend are the only people of color there. I’ve already told most of my POC friends not to come here unless they wanna get stared at. After asking some folks around the majority feel the same, that if you aren’t white or white-passing, you’ll get treated just a little different, not enough for anyone else to notice but you can certainly tell (Also the drinks are pretty okay, just inconsistent which isn’t too big of a deal tbh)
The place is okay. Just wish the bar tenders could be less pretentious. I might expect that from Paschalls since they have actual mixologists there, and yet they're the most friendly and kind people I've ever met. Harvest house has rolled their eyes at me and have even taken passive-aggressive swipes at me. Geez, as a fellow local, don't act like your hot stuff. You're probably a college graduate with 20 years of bar experience. Congrats. There more to life than craft and IPA beers...
Extremely unfriendly bar staff if you aren’t a local or regular. Very unpleasant visit.
Bartender literally did nothing when their customers bike was getting stolen, just smile and laugh as they guy stole the bike
As someone who has visited before and truly enjoyed the atmosphere and happy hour, I was excited to invite my coworkers from a local hospital to unwind after a long week. We were especially grateful for what we believed was a family-friendly outdoor space where we could enjoy the beautiful weather. At 8:00 pm, three adults from our party and one 4-year-old approached the bar to order one final round of drinks. At 8:06 pm, a staff member informed us that the establishment becomes 21+ after 8 pm. I responded politely that we would finish our drinks and head out. However, about five minutes later, Dan approached our table and was incredibly rude, telling us we needed to “hurry up and leave.” It was confusing and frustrating, considering the bartenders had just served us drinks knowing there was a child present. There was no event, no live music, and no crowd Being rushed out over a strict 8 pm rule — after being served — felt unnecessary and poorly handled. When asking the bartenders for the name of the manager on duty and for the name of the gentleman who approached us, they refused to answer. For context, the children in our group were not disruptive. One was quietly playing with rocks, one was watching Netflix, and one was asleep. There was no chaos, no complaints — just a small group of adults trying to enjoy a peaceful evening. Unfortunately, this experience did not feel family-friendly or hospitable. There are other similar establishments nearby that allow children until 9 pm and manage those transitions without being rude to their guests. Very disappointing.
My three friends and I visited Harvest House to try Soup Flight Night, and while the food experience itself started off promising, our interaction at the bar really dampened the evening. When we went up to order drinks, the bar wasn’t busy, there were customers seated and chatting, but no one actively ordering. As we looked over the drink menu, the bartender seemed visibly irritated that we were taking a moment to decide. One of my friends ordered first, and while her drink was being made, another friend realized he wanted the same drink. At that point, the bartender reacted with clear frustration and attitude, including a noticeable facial expression and a sharp tone. He then told his female coworker to continue our order in a way that made us feel like we were a bother rather than guests. (I should have gotten his name, what a shame.) However, the overall interaction left us uncomfortable enough that we chose not to tip due to the unwelcoming attitude we received. Afterward, I looked through other reviews and noticed several similar comments mentioning unfriendly or rude bartenders, especially toward new patrons. Unfortunately, that matched our experience. We wanted to enjoy our first visit and Soup Flight Night, but the bar service made it hard to fully do so. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.
Went for goth prom on Halloween night. Bartenders completely ignored me and other new patrons when we tried to ask about the menu or compliment their costumes (keep in mind the “menu” was only one drink), but spoke to and served only people they knew. I stood at the bar for a long time while a couple regulars around me had their orders taken, but I was never even acknowledged. I finally gave up when I realized I was not going to be served. As I was leaving I told the person at the door what happened, and they said it was busy. We had a comical moment where we both looked at the bar that was nowhere near full, and all the bartenders (at least 6) were either cleaning up or chatting with regulars and not taking any orders of the other patrons that decided to continue waiting. I did not see a single one of them get their order taken. This is one of the very few places in Denton that offers goth events, but the awful service is not worth it. This was my first and will be my last time here. If you’re not already a regular at this bar and are just looking for a drink and a good time, I recommend steering clear.
