We had our engagement party on August 6,2022 at Dox and had an amazing party. Everyone is still talking about how much they enjoyed the food and loved the venue. Mark went above and beyond to make sure the party went smoothly and our needs were met. We had approximately 120 people and brought in decorations cake italian ice and a DJ. The servers and bartenders were amazing throughout the entire party and checked on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend this venue for a party if you want a nice venue on the water.

Had a great experience at Dox. Went on a weekday for lunch. Great traditional seafood like the ones pictured below. The crab and Greer is a grilled cheese sandwich but with crab meat. So delicious! The lobster roll had shredded bits (and not chunks). Good service, good food, good weather, good music. You have a view of the water, which is nice. Parking is limited and you may have to park on the street or offsite. That’s the only downside to this place, along with the many many local roads it takes to get there. Go on a weekday!

What a great place for a drink and a bite to eat ! People of all ages are enjoying the sun and natural breezes there . The staff can't do enough for you. My family and I have been there several times. The night life there is fantastic also . Thanks !

Dox is an island park staple! It's located on the water which gives the atmosphere a notch above. The service was great, for the drinks we had the cosmic charlie and sos which were amazing 👏 The 🦞 roll saved the day in regards to the food and the fries were great. But when it came to the Carne asada 🌮it honestly would of been a great taco but my steak was overcooked and tasted a little bland however for that I wouldn't say not to get it because it's most likely a simple mistake so I will go back and try again and update you all! I still highly recommend dox!

Made it down to a brand new place, DOX in Island Park... they just opened this weekend 6/28 so they have to work some kinks but wow such a Great place! , great outdoor space, has a nice sandy area to hang, nice covered bar area, food is served through a food truck but they bring it right to you and was VERY tasty.... perfect evening place for the fam after an entire day at the beach. Get there soon and early before they get crazy.. I can see how this place will be packed out in the weeks to come....

Service and staff are amazing!! The band on the time we came is very entertaining and friendly. But the food is not good at all. Very expensive and doesnt taste good. But the ambience is great 😊

Walked in and looked pretty good but got a dirty look from the waitresses and not even a hello or greeting of any kind. My wife and I just thought she may have had a bad day. We started following her to the side door and she looked back and shut the door in our faces. We then proceeded to the exit , got in the car and said never again! We went to Pete's raw bar down the block and had a good meal with friendly waitresses that actually care about their customers. We will never go back to Dox when Pete's is 3 minutes away......

I’m sure it’s fun for music and drinks but DO NOT EAT here! Dox is meant for music and drinks. The food is awful as well as the service. We ordered clams from the raw bar and they weren’t even cut from the shell! AND we didn’t have any silverware to cut them ourselves. When we asked for some, the staff totally ignored us. We ended up taking unused silverware from a table that hadn’t been cleaned yet. We asked for some napkins and the bus kid grabbed a stack from the bar. The ‘shrimp po boy’, please. It was two fried shrimp on a bun, $26?!! The mussels were covered in breadcrumbs and sitting in 5 inches of oil. We saw our waiter once to take our order and once to bring the check. WORST food on the Island.

Went on a Saturday at 830, the Restaurant was not packed and there were several tables that were empty. It took over 20 minutes before a waitress came to see us, and she had an attitude as if she didn’t want to be there. We asked for utensils that never came until we flagged/begged a bus boy and he helped us. We kept trying to get help and asking other waiter/waitresses because ours was nowhere to be found, even paying the bill was a hassle. I have frequented this place multiple times in the past three years And will have to say the most recent one will be my last. The food is terrible. The vibes are great and the service used to be good, which is why I kept coming back.

I ordered the lemon mussels and the bowl was so bathed with jarred garlic - absent was lemon flavor. I had to “fish” for what mussels I could find among the garlic mounds. My daughter’s steak quesadilla was drenched in oil. The music and our waitress were only good things.
