Food was excellent as expected, service was very good as well. Despite not having meximelts anymore they were able to make me one! Ultimately what more could you ask for? My chalupa cravings box was excellent as well, and was actually one of the better chalupas that I've had. Top notch, and definitely will be coming back.

It was very nice. Highly recommend the cravings menu cheesy bean & rice burrito, the spicy tostada, and the cinnamon twists. Those three can make a $3.50 filling meal. The combos are not good for vegetarian.

I've gone here quite a bit and at different times of day. The drive thru is fast and always friendly. The best part about this location is that they get your order right too.

we went to store #022019 in poway on 3-22-13 and Adam was our server and he was amazing. He was extremely patient with our group which was a very drunk and rude group. I would like to add that he was the best server we have ever had. More people should be like he is with difficult groups like ours can be. Thank you so very much

If you're going to Taco Bell you know what you are going to get food wise, but this Taco Bell stands above the rest in North county. It's clean, they are fast and of the hundreds of times I've been there over the last 10 years they've never messed up an order.

Since I started working in Poway at the Walmart Supercenter I've been driving up & down the streets to find a spot to get something to eat. Well this particular Taco Bell caught my attention & they're way better than the Mickie D's up the street by far. I've been responsible for consuming the Cravings Pack & a Dr. Pepper ta wash it all down before work. I have to be big & strong to clean the produce & fresh meat wall daily & then sweep all the floor in the Supercenter, oh I usually have a Red Bull too. Thanks Pepsi-Cola for having a Taco Bell in the fine city of Poway.

Seriously the best Taco Bell I've ever been to. The staff were so nice, polite and helpful. Food tasted freshly made and they were quick with service. Spoiled it for any other Taco Bell. And even if you just go here once... get the app!!! You get points for free food and they have app exclusive options that are way less $ than on the menu!

Taco Bell is dependable and tasty. The service was good. The value boxes provide a large amount of food for a very fair price. The young man who took my money was particularly pleasant, asking me about my fourth of July experience. He was actually the only person I spoke to that day, so his pleasant conversation was welcome. The food was good. Hot and tasty.

So I'm not normally one to review fast food chains because who cares but WHOA... the service was incredibly attentive. Our food order was ready in about a minute. I ordered dessert after we ate and it took 30 seconds. Normally I would expect the food to be stale and gross if this was the case because I'd expect it to have been sitting... not the case. Everything was super fresh. I rarely eat this kind of food but I'm super impressed with how this location is being operated. The teenagers working there were constantly cleaning and working. Awesome!

One of the better Taco Bells in all of San Diego. High school kids mostly work here, which is nice to see. They do a good job making the food.

Quick and tasty , I think I've been going to Taco Bell since 1985 that was in Orange county now I live around the corner from this one, 12yrs here, I only eat the burrito Supreme it's really good all the time , only a few times a yr , good service and quick deliveries brings me back.

So, if you’re ever in Poway and craving some fast food with a Mexican twist, you’ve got to hit up Taco Bell on Poway Road. I've been there more times than I can count, and it's always a solid choice. They’ve got all the classics—tacos, burritos, and my personal favorite, the Crunchwrap Supreme. One thing I really appreciate about this Taco Bell is how clean it is. The dining area is spotless, which isn't something you can say about every fast food joint. Even though it gets pretty crowded, especially around meal times, the service is super fast. The staff is really friendly and efficient, so you never have to wait long for your food. The drive-thru is also a lifesaver if you’re in a hurry. The food is always hot and tasty, and the prices are great if you’re on a budget. All in all, Taco Bell in Poway is definitely worth a visit. It's my go-to spot when I'm in the mood for some quick, delicious food.

Good store, busy location. Food is what you expect from Taco Bell. My only complaint is that we spent more time ordering off the kiosk (with a person standing behind it now offering to help) than it would have if that person would have just taken our order. Then I had to wait for the food and not get the cup until the food was out. Why not give me the cup right after ordering? And why do I need to specify what what drink I want if I have to get it myself anyway?

Great service! New Nacho Fries very good! Must be a great place, kids order water glass and get free soda. This is an Americanized version of Mexican food.

Taco Bell in Poway is the best! They have great workers too. I wish the quesadillas were better though. The flour tortillas are too chewy they just don't make good quesadillas. Tortilla chips way too salty! Few things to improve on. I feel all fast food chains should not add salt to anything. If a customer wants to add salt let them do it.

Really nice for a Taco Bell. Super clean with no weird smells. The staff is always patient with me when I'm being indecisive and the food is ready quickly once an order is placed.

My husband and I order take out from this Taco Bell often, and pick it up at the drive through window. The Taco Bell app makes it easy to order and pay. We did have a problem one time with the daytime employees, but it got resolved quickly. This is the only Taco Bell that doesn’t mess up my complicated vegan orders. We often order a few modified grilled black bean burritos with rice, potatoes, onions, corn strips, and add avocado at home. I’m telling you!!! It’s so good. This Taco Bell is open until midnight. However, you’d best get your order in by 11:15 pm or you’ll have to order it in the drive thru. They do run out of black beans just before closing sometimes. When that happens, I don’t mind getting refried beans instead. The restaurant is clean inside. There’s a small parking lot with front row handicapped parking.

Happy with the employee service.. Changed my order at the window and the lady was super cool with it! Told me to go with the cool ranch hard shell taco with fire sauce. It was a pretty darn good combo! Thanks for the advice! This location is always clean and in 7 years its always has had good service!! Keep it up that's what keeps me coming back!

The dining area was clean. The person that greets you at the register is quick and accurate in placing your order. My only issue is that on some days the kitchen staff is a bit slow. The food is prepared according to your request.

Drive thru only right now. Food was as expected. I took off a star because of two things: 1) there is a fan above the drive thru window which is too loud and makes it hard to hear the employee handing you the food. 2) I had an order for 5 people which is a larger order and they forgot to give us one of the $1 Value Items. We didn't realize it until we got home. Nothing wrong with the food and the workers were courteous so I will go return.

This place has the best employees...except a little blond girl whos judgmental and cant even give me the right drink..which really sucks cause all i wanted was a nice crisp Pepsi from Taco Bell. It just tastes amazing after a long day (and just better there in general.) In stead I get sticks to your mouth and throat till you have to practically puke your-you get the gist. This place DOES have an incredible employee, The one at the drive-thru, Cristina I believe her name is, she always makes my night. Next time you serve someone, just be kind and show respect for all regardless of anything. I hope taco Bell sees this cause man....I'm not happy. 😣

Wow! I was really surprised to see how much a lot of the prices have gone up, but I guess that's just the time we live in. The only problem? We actually experienced was a huge huge huge line for the drive thru. And it moved very slow I feel bad because I know it must be hard to find people.

The food was okay but when you get a chalupa and regular taco and there is more shell then meat and other ingredients then it's not as good as it can be. I can say that the prices are not cheap so when I decide to go there to eat I expect my monies worth and I have to say it is not. They are good but for this reason they are not in my top 5, go to fast food restaurant. It's my once in a while because they dont have many deals.

The staff is very friendly and courteous, but they're not particularly organized. When entering the dining room is Little Messi, in particular the tables are not wiped down. If it is what you expected to be, it's fast food let's face it. But it does taste pretty good and they do serve it to you hot.

BEWARE DRIVE THRU 9/10 times the drive thru always gets my order wrong or forgets something. Even if I confirm my order. Always check your food before you leave the window

The food is okay and the servers are pretty cool so I won't fault them if it's the policy/standard they are held to. That issue is that most of the time when I order via the app, they don't start the order until you get there and announce your arrival. Other taco bells I frequented have the food almost ready or ready when I arrive. I usually order 10-20 minutes ahead of time via the app.

Taco Bell tacos are like snow flakes, no two are alike. I ordered two breakfast tacos,a bacon one, and a sausage one. One had hardly anything inside but was grilled fairly well, the other had almost twice as much inside, but still was maybe half filled and hardly grilled at all. Long waits after you order...

I was surprised to see a nacho tray with minimal topping. It's a $10 nacho tray but barely any cheese,onions, tomatoes and guacamole on it. It was totally ridiculous. I went to Taco Bell after a long time but I was really disappointed with their food quantity. Tostadas are very small also.

I asked for a cup of ice to go with my order. Not once, not twice but several times I had to repeat myself at the drive through. The female behind the Mic finally changed my drink from Pepsi to water. Secondly, I had also specified Diablo sauce and Hot Sauce, 4 of each. What I received was 1 Diablo sauce and 7 Fire. I don't particularly care for Fire sauce as I do not like its flavor. Overall the food was as expected aside from the disappointment in Hot Sauces and the Ice and Water/Soda mixup

Asked for a burrito without the jalapeno sauce. New employee did not know how to do this. I offered to get something else instead. New employee said it's okay and called more senior employee (or mgr?) over. Still ended up getting a burrito with the jalapeno sauce. Lastly, a bit slow for walkup service. They must heavily prioritize the drive thru.

I went at lunchtime and ordered a burrito supreme through the drive thru. When I was halfway home I noticed it was just a plain bean and cheese burrito. So I wasted $6 bucks on a tiny disappointment. Please double check orders before they go out the window!

We went there tonight for dinner and they forgot something again. Everytime I go to this Taco bell they always forget something and this time she didn't even say sorry. Waste of gas and my time to go back there. They should really double check the order instead of just rushing it because they have a timer on their window. It's inconvenience for people plus there's very little meat on the tacos, it's mostly veggies. Don't think I'm going back to this one again. Also, their phone is always busy...I don't think they keep it on.

They closed the lobby during lunch rush. Nothing wrong with the place, they just didn't feel like serving people in the lobby and only wanted to serve the drive-thru.

Sticky tables. They took out the order taker, then put in 2 touch screens. 'Do it yourself' ordering, and no receipt is printed for your order transaction. No record for purchase? No thank you.

Went to the restaurant about 4pm. It was quite because not dinner time rush yet. This is definitely not fast food, not fast at all. There was no one at the counter to take order. No big deal. We just ordered from one of the kiosks machine. It took more than 20 minutes for the food to come out. Won’t return again due to slow service.

Food tasted funny. Pretty sure I had an a reaction to some bad meat or cheese. I broke out in hives for the first time(30 years old) within 15 minutes of eating my meal.

Usually my food is a let down. I'll pay extra for extra chicken on my supreme burrito and it's always a disappointment. The burritos are small and, with all the gross sour cream and pretend avocado, I won't be goung back!

Prices at Taco Bell have greatly increased. The quality and serving size in relation to the cost is shocking. The staff are friendly enough.

Incredibly greasy. A plain quesadilla stained red and brown with oil and spice without any chilli flavours. Same for tacos and burritos. As I peeled away the paper the discoloured oil dripped across the paper. The cheeses appeared to be velveta. Purchased iced tea that tasted as if ½ flat coke. I threw the entire family pack away. No way I would ever feed that to my family or anyone else for that matter. Had to bag it separately and tie off the bag the next day to contain the odor until trash day. Now I remember why it had been 7 yrs since I last purchased.

I waited 30-40 minutes to get my damn order. It's horrible. I advise you not to visit this place.

09/13 around 7:30 pm. Horrible customer service, we ordered chalupa and just told them something is not right and it’s not fresh, this guy tells us I don’t work here in and out. Why are you even here? And what are you doing? The person at cashier doesn’t even communicate clearly. Don’t waste your time at this location, never coming back. This is not the way I expect to be treated as a customer.

Ice machine broken for over a year (~2 years now). Owner has no intentions on fixing or replacing. Have to wait for employee to refill drinks behind counter. Bring your own ice.

The drive through line was so long that i decided to park and go inside. Been waiting for 20 mins. when I asked I was told that they decided to push through the drive through orders and put the walk-ins last. People that came to the drive through after I ordered are getting their orders before me. Not ok.

Their drive-thru is the worst of all. Even after placing the mobile order I had to wait for 25 minutes. They take oddly long time to cater orders in drive thru.

Recently changed ownership. Was once a very fast drive thru, is now a medicore experience. Prices also went up due to new ownership. I've had to wait 15+ mins many times to grab my order with only a few cars ahead of me. EDIT: Around the beginning of 2024, new owners disabled value boxes on the app, have been giving the Caramel Mountain restauraunt my business ever since. 👎

The worst Taco Bell. This location offers no customer service when attempting to dine. We understand this store is short on employees. However, the concern is why does this location continue to have a large turnover. Management? The McDonald's nearby at this same location has a full team and very attentive in customer service. What is wrong with this Taco Bell location that they cannot hold a full staff which lacks customer service. Ridiculous!!!!

i always go here, and ive been getting the Jalapeno veggie mexican pizza for a while now. its ALWAYS wrong. it never has Jalapenos. unless i pay for extra, then i get like two or three little pieces. its often made with meat, so i cant eat it. you name it, its never correct. weather i go into the store, driver through, or even doordash it, its wrong.

I've always loved the establishment, but the new late night kitchen staff are idiots or outright malicious. Instead of giving BOX meals in boxes they throw it all in one bag. One night they THREW AN OPEN FACE CHICKEN CHALUPA into the bottom of the bag and I could hear laughing in the kitchen. I've eaten here for 4 years, but now its my final choice to eat.
