We came here again on a Friday about 6:00pm and as usual the service was great and the food was hot and fresh. I was so impressed at the number of different pizzas they had out and the salad bar was fresh (as it always is) and we'll stocked. Best value in town for a full service pizza buffet.
Great deal, have good selection of food and deserts. Pizza you can request your favorite and they have plenty of toppings. They have a special everyday. If you're looking for good pizza and other stop in here and they have game room for the kids too. Come and enjoy. Also the staff is very helpful too.
An awesome place. I forgotten gem has some really good pizza but not crowded like other places the games are priced reasonably and you get plenty of tickets from playing the games 10 out of 10 recommend
Very great tasting food. Fantastic salad bar!! The people are so nice you cannot ask for better. Can get a PIZZA made to your taste, just ask, they'll call you when it's ready. They are always cleaning too, bathrooms are very clean. Fun for children too, games, prizes, private rooms for your use. Go, see for yourself. Senior discount also.
Love this place! Had my son's birthday party here, didn't buy a package but still they made his day gave him a party bag, crown! I love their cheese sticks!
I've been going my whole life to this location so it's so nicely nostalgic. Love the salad bar and the kids love the gameroom. Game play is high with many costing $1.50, but we love the mini coaster and bumper cars!
I have been here several times and the staff is just amazing. Very friendly and making whatever pizza you want for the buffet. Great atmosphere
This place is a blast for dare-devil toddlers like ours. There is even an indoor roller coaster that adults can ride with them! Tons of fun in this place!!! And on senior day our buffet was dirt cheap. I believe it was Wednesday and we paid about $3. We will definitely go back!
Good atmosphere and food at a reasonable price. They even make pizza to your order for the Buffett
Brings me right back to childhood, everything is great, really humble.
We had fun there was Hardly any pizza 🍕 we where there at 3. Figured that would be a slow time. It must be there rush hour 🤷🏼we order a pizza ,they had it out fast so we was happy 😊
We were in here recently after church and my word how things have changed! Right when you walk in you can already see the changes, as the front lobby now looks alive and fun, compared to the dullness of before. Beyond that there really isn't drastic changes, but more subtle changes that really show the love and care that has been brought to the place. The salad bar here is probably one of, if not the best in town. The pizza is not bad, certainly edible but not the best I've ever had. Still though it's nice how you can request a pizza and they will make it, then call it out once done. The desserts I love. The cookies, cinnamon rolls, and dessert pizzas are so good that I always have to go back for more! The ice cream is standard fare. I do wish they offered a bowl for it, but the cones are still acceptable. They have 2 tv rooms with huge projections on the wall that are a nice touch, and enjoyable to watch while eating. They also have a dining room without tvs for a more personal dining experience, and a party room that's all to itself for bigger groups or parties. The game room is more ticket driven these days with a lot of games more focused on winning tickets, but they also have other arcade games to enjoy. They have a smaller bowling offering too, perfect for children 10 or less I believe. The bumper cars are fun, as well as a smaller roller coaster for younger kids. The air hockey finally works too! Overall it is a great experience, and they allow kids under 3 to eat for free which is a big bonus. Really enjoyed this place since they touched things up, and we can't wait to go back!
Always a great time when I bring my family here! Food is great and the manager Daniel is a class act. Always goes the extra mile to make my kids laugh and entertain them! My wife always orders some weird kinda pizza and he makes sure to get it out to her just like she likes it!
We haven't been here in years, it was so much fun. There were lots of different pizzas all hot. The arcade staff were lovely, they seem to love their job. It was a wonderful afternoon. We spent $40 for 3 adults on the buffet and $20 each was enough to play games for an hour.
It's a fun place. The games are pretty expensive but for the price of the buffet and the quality of the buffet, you really can't complain. The games and rides are obviously some of the big money makers here. And for those that may be roller coaster enthusiasts, yes they will let you ride if you are an adult, depending on your weight and dimensions.
Always come when we are in town and everything is always good
Our Granddaughters school stopped here on thier way to a school activity she was impressed! She wanted to stop and eat here while we were on vacation! I was very impressed with how clean and well taken care of it is! Fresh food fun games! Employees are very friendly as well buffet was Amazing! We will be back in the future!
We meet once a month with old co-workers here. Tonight everything was fresh and hot. They even made specialty pizza for us for the buffet.
Taylor was great from beginning to as we walked out. Very friendly as she explained how their buffet worked. Great place for kids!!
They have come a love way. There salad has always been good. But the pizza wasn't. Now the pizza is good and better that cici or other place.
Pizza was not bad. Had fresh pizza. I actually feel the salad bar is the best thing at Gatti's especially with the diced ham. Gatti's has always been a favorite of mine.
Lots of fun. Plenty of games for the whole family. The games average out to about $1 per play. The prizes are fairly decent, but the prizes are really just a plus. The kids will get a full stomach while watching cartoons on a big screen protector, and have a blast afterwards with all of the games. It was all definitely worth it.
Greatest pizza buffet in town. First time here but not the last, let’s start with the prices excellent I’m here with my wife and for both of us we pay only 18$ all you can eat salad bar, pizza bar, desserts station and soft drinks station with “ICE” soda drink and ice tea. Of course the price is before 4:00 o’clock pm. But even after dark the price can’t be beat for more details on there prices and hours just ask Google. They also have a game room area and a Fun Flicks Room with a giant screen. The place was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful since it was our first time there I had to ask how the buffet works and at the game room again had to ask a staffer how to get a Mr. Gatti’s Rechargeable playing card to use the games this employee was very happy to show me everything I needed to know. Highly recommended for anyone with or without kids after all WE ALL LOVE PIZZA AND GAMES. For the young at heart.
When we drove up to get our pizza, we waited about 5 minutes in the drive thru with no response, so I called. They came out pretty quickly after that, but only had one pizza, and I had ordered two. We had to wait while they made the other pizza, and the manager said I now owed them almost $13 for that pizza. We suggested it should be lower since they did not get the order correct and had to wait. They knocked off $4. The sampler pizza, the one we waited for, didn't have as much topping as usual. but still pretty good. The star of the show was the cinnamon sticks, which we had never ordered before. They arent stucks, but pizza dough that has been rolled in butter and cinnamon and baked. They give you a dipping icing sauce. They were delicious.
Good food for the price..Wednesday is senior day 55 years and older now 6.78 (includes tax) Today is August 18th, this is the second week in a row that I have found the salad bar lacking. The iceberg lettuce is not as green as it should be, the tomatoes were sitting in a lot of juice, that tells they are not fresh, and no sunflower seeds. There was pizza available when they opened, but I believe that everything should be ready to go when they open, so that customers can enjoy it all instead of having to wait for items to come out. Maybe get an earlier start.
Pizza should probably be eaten at the restaurant, it's a all day buffet.
We did not eat today but only played games. This is the first time in many years that I have been here. It was fun some of the games or messed up because people carry off the stuff such as balls to other places but the staff was very helpful and friendly. Had a great time I gave them 4 stars only because of the problems we had with other people carrying things to other areas
They have an awesome salad bar! Always fresh tasting. Their pizzas taste good, the spaghetti taste great and the desserts as well. It was a very busy evening but they managed to pull through with having everything available for everyone. Also the employees were very nice and helpful. Will definitely go again!
Love the salad bar selection and ample variety. It had more space than the pizzas. I saw like 5 pizzas at a time and it wasn’t enough or vast variety unless you asked. I thought all tasted good. The workers were kind and serving.
First time visitor. I was skeptical at first of the huge crowd and it being buffet style, but it was very clean and the food was fresh and tasty. The buffet stands alone which is good so there's not ppl constantly hovering over the food. There's plenty of variety as far as game, my kids loved it!
I've enjoyed visiting Gatti's since I was a kid (I'm in my 30's now), and decided to stop here on our way back home from out of town. On thursdays moms eat free, although I was charged for an adult drink without being asked :/ The buffet had several hot pizzas and the salad bar had a variety of toppings (which is great bc I'm vegetarian). We had a blast in the arcade; my 5 y.o. liked the bumper cars and the roller coaster. There's quite a few games to play, but the older ones towards the back right corner (if leaving arcade) didn't work, as well as a couple of others scattered around. The bathroom was clean. It's an older buffet, but it's always a fun place to take kids and grab a bite.
Food is okay, staff is phenomenally friendly and helpful. Kids loved the variety and selection, loved the kids shows on the TV screens, and the game room after. The games are pricey, unfortunately.
First time at this location. Food could have been fresher but that's the downside of going there late. The area was clean and the staff was friendly. Overall, I was satisfied with my visit.
Haven't been to Mr. Gatti's in years but we came to celebrate my nephew's birthday. It was really fun. Food was good and the arcade room was decent. My only complaints was it was warm inside (it felt cooler outside) and the TV rooms(or the whole place really..) could use a little update. Couldn't even really see the movie playing or hear it. But overall, it was fun and we plan on bringing our kids in the future.
Wow! This place was fun. You pay for all-you-can-eat buffet when entering. After you eat, there are tons of games to play to collect tickets to be returned for prizes. The food was really good. Most tables were dirty so my family had a hard time finding a clean table to sit at.
First time at this restaurant I refer to it as a better chuck e cheese . Pizza was good salad bar was a big hit with my family , only reason I gave it a 4 not a 5 star was you can order a Califlower pizza well almost 1 hour later we finally got 1 but it wasn't like we had asked an it was burnt also . Kids had a blast in the arcade.
Food was really good, especially the salad bar. Fresh salad toppings and an assortment of healthy desserts.
Great place to take the kid. Affordable, nice staff, and decent pizza. Restrooms were terrible though.
Disappointed because the frozen lemonade was not working. The pizza maker made pizza to order because very few on the pizza line. Good variety of salad items, pasta, and a few desserts. Kids enjoyed the games but the bumper cars only had 2 working and many kids wanted to ride. Other cars were there but not functioning. This would be something to fix. If they do not want kids to enjoy bumper cars then maybe remove and put in a bounce or mini golf course.
My son and I had dinner and played in the game room and then had some dessert. It was a fun night and the employees were all very helpful and friendly and the food was delicious, I especially enjoyed the Chicken BBQ Pizza and from the desserts the Banana Pudding was tasted great ! We will definitely be coming back soon 👍👍
I've always been fond of this gattis. I remember going here as a child. It is fun. A lot of new games. The card system for games and tickets is cool. Some games don't work and take your money but if you tell the staff they will give you a free game or reimburse. The bumper cars need work. Some do not drive forwards. The minion game is a lot if fun. Lots of tickets won. The roller coaster is not fun. I'm 32 years old and it felt unsafe. Feels like it will throw you out. It's way too fast and slings you around. Couldn't wait for it to be over. And I've rode roller coasters at six flags that were not that scary. The bathrooms are absolutely terrible. They stink very badly. The food is really good. Nice options for salad. More desert options would be good. I might come back. But the bathrooms are so bad I might not.
I love cold, mass produced pizza served to me reheated, the salad bar was worth the 10.00 i payed with a soda but the soda machines were out of syrup for every selection i cared to drink and after i told the employee about the fountain machine being out of syrup they never changed it while i was eating. 3 of the six games i played were broke and when i brought this to the attention of the attendant they did not offer me a refund or even put a sign on the games stating that they were broke. Very very bad practices, but i did enjoy the salad.
The place is fun I will give them that but the prices have gone up for the food adults are around nine bucks plus another couple dollars for your drink and the kids 4 or 5 dollars plus a couple dollars also for the drink. Then the card readers were very touchy some games would show it didn't read your card then charge you like 5 seconds later (the coin and ticket system was alot better) it was kind of a pain with the cards. Lastly our son wanted to ride the train and it took almost an hour for an employee to get over to open the ride. Other than that the place is great food is good, games are fun, and lots of room for the whole family to enjoy themselves.
Staff was very friendly made you feel like you were interacting with friends. So as soon as you walked in you could feel that. The food was good, pizza was hot and fresh. Only issue was the cleanness of the dining rooms and game room. Other than that it was a nice outing. Thank you
Games are a bit pricey and the pizza all looked like it was sitting for a while. But the staff made it great the cooks made pizzas as we ordered with no hesitation. The guy in the game room was nice tonmy toddler and help us when in trouble
It was my first time there, and I feel that the service could be a lot better. As we were cleaning up from a birthday party. A group of people walked in, and when they saw us still sitting there, they went and told the manager, who then came to the area in which we were sitting, she looked at as rolled her eyes and then walked away! Not the greatest. The rest of the staff was nice!
We took our kid there to have some fun. The food was okay. It wasn't bad but wasn't great either. We went to play some games afterwards. A lot of the game were broken. The ones that were up and running looked really rough. We probably won't go back.
My main concerns have already been said by others, so I won't trample the business except to say the dessert was awesome. The theme so far in Abilene seems to be that when the star of show isn't popping, the dessert is enough to let you come back, and to be fair, they did it great. The banana pudding was awesome, along with the cinnamon bread pizza thingy lol and not to mention the warm pizza cookie amazing prob the best I've ever had. I think you will have a great experience if you go on a busy day.
My two nieces had their birthday party there today. The food was great! The game arcade was awesome, especially the rollercoaster! I went three times on that one!! The reason why I am giving this three stars is because the building is outdated! The building on the inside needs remodeling. When you come into the building, the bars where you line up needs to be painted. Other than that, I had a great time!!!
Things have gone down hill recently at Gatti’s Pizza..the pastas are old and overcooked..part of the AC system is broken so they only have one section open…the workers do not come by to take away plates..the floors are always sticky now..there used to be a older female manager in charge and another older woman working there, now I don’t see them and things are bad. It’s been this way the last three time we go. What happened?!
Food is hot and miss, but it's a pizza buffet. Gave 5 stars for service because I feel i did a superb job, place is old run down but still fun
Food was good. No complaint there. Cashier, forgot her name, was very friendly and interacted with customers making us feel welcomed. Employees were friendly. Reason I didn't give 4 or 5 stars is because half of the games needed an update, refurbished, or replaced. Same with some furniture in dining area. There was a lack in upkeep. Seems like no money is being put back into the business.
hmmm the good thing of this place was the salad bar, wow i was so impressed with the selection on salad bar, the pizza i passed on, looked lack luster, the seating area was kinda yuck, for my first time visiting i am not sure i will go back unless i needed a good salad bar option
I love Mr.Gatti's. It's hard to criticize. The salad bar was great. Their TV rooms were closed. I had to spend $130 for my kids to have about an hour game play. That seems too much. Most games are about 2 bucks. If it weren't for nostalgia I would cancel this place.
Had a great time and enjoyed the kidoes playing. Hell even i played. Only down fall is this place has seemed to get greedy since I was a kid, the games are outrageous, the food pricing was good considering it's a buffet. Service was awesome. They never missed a beat on asking what kinda special pizza we wanted and even treated the kids as top priority, that's a win win in my book,
It's a pizza party place with arcade and rides. On that note it is fun. The games are great for toddlers and up. They have tickets and prizes. The rides are about same age range. There is a mini coaster. (Be ready to brace that core cause it will jerk you around). The seating area is old with rocky tables and peeling wallpaper. The food is alright. Could be a little cleaner. The staff is nice and helpful and understanding of the young and crazy kids. So on that note I recommend it.
Not like it used to be. Service was great. The salad bar was good but the pizza tasted like frozen. The crust was doughy. All the tables were still dirty from the night before. I won’t be back. Sorry
Use to love going to this place but now it is very dirty. Floors are sticky, hand rails are sticky, and games were dirty. It is also ridiculous priced to play the games. Desserts are still delicious though which is why I gave them two stars.
Salad bar wasn't cold. pasta was to salty. Not slot of choices on pizza. None of the silver wear or plated were stocked. Forks for salad bar for some weird reason were on the other aide of the pizza bar didn't make much since. Games were okay but that about it. Wishing it was better since I heard great things. But honestly won't be coming back again
The pizza on the buffet was old and cold. But they took an order from me and made a fresh one. The cheese sticks were ols as well. The salad bar was good. Seems like they where more worried about the staff child then there customers. Will i go back no i don't think so.
The food was great. But almost all the games were broken or messed up. Alot of them would take our money, but not let us play. We told the staff and he acted like he didn't know what we were talking about. Saying they just fixed them all, when they were obviously not fixed. Some of the areas in the gaming room had very little space for my son's wheelchair to get through. Prime Time might be more expensive, but much more worth the money.
Our son loves this place. Good buffet and reasonable price. Most recent trip was disappointing. Pizza on the buffet was cold, and dough tasted fermented. Games that actually worked have been rigged worse than I have ever seen. Service was still decent.
Pizza was fresh but we sat at the far corner booth across from the salad buffet and as we were eating a roach (not a water bug) decided to grace us with its presents. We stopped eating and just went to let our 4-year-old play the games since we paid for a $40 card. He enjoyed playing the games especially the virtual roller-coaster one.
The staff ignored me when I asked what type of pizza desserts they had. The pizza ain't too good or pasta. Prises is high and the soda wasn't carbonated and out of it. The damn lady didn't speak English which shouldn't be happening here in the US. The prices for the game tickets are high and aren't worth getting. This place is like chucky cheese making it child based pizza place.
Man this place is a joke game room is pretty cool for little kids. A really neat roller coaster for younger kids . Last time we were here a lot of games were down this time not so bad. The food areas looks like it was last remodeled in the 80s and painted about that time. The room with a big screen has a projection TV that only works in black and white the buffet was cheese pizza or pepperoni very few other kinds of pizza . The overall feel and cleanliness has a lot to be desired several time they ran out of utensils and plates .I'd really think that Mr Gattis corporation would follow up with their franchisees better. Bathrooms were gross
Has been on a slow decline for the last few years. Pizza has never been good, so I went in expecting that. The games are what we really go for, but it seemed like every game we tried to play this last time had something broken on it or just plain didn't work, they did refund us for the ones that didn't work, so that was a plus. The ice machine spit out incredibly dirty ice and the employee that I told really could not have cared less and nothing was done about it for the hour and a half we were there. Whatever.. I don't usually give bad reviews, but this place brought it out of me tonight. If they at least could keep the machines working for the kid, I could care less about the food. No one goes there just to eat anyways. At least I would hope not..
Don't come during the afternoon. The food has a weird taste to it. The pizza had a bad quality to it. The coffee was on point tho.The employees seemed not interested in us. The game room was pretty enjoyable with a Retro feel. Great selection of pizza. They have a salad bar. Towards the end of our visit (4:30 pm on a Tuesday) The employees were more nice and were engaged. They were cleaning and the food tasted better. Whatever crew this was, thank y'all for improving our bad visit.
We went to Abilene with our grandkids. The food was half cooked, place is filthy, the games experience and most of them were broken. It's not as nice as other towns. Managers were standing around drinking soda. But ordering one young lady to hurry up and clean all the dirty tables. Need New management!!!!
We were recently invited to a birthday party at Mr Gatti’s and it was our first time visiting the Abilene location. The employees were kind and helpful, and the pizza was about what you’d expect, not amazing, but not bad either. The salad bar was actually a highlight and really well done. What surprised me most was the condition of the building. There were water stains and missing ceiling tiles, and overall it looked like it has seen better days and could really use some updates and repairs. The kids were given game cards as part of the party, which they were so excited about. Unfortunately, because the games were so expensive, the card only covered about two or three games per child. That was pretty shocking and honestly a turn off as a parent. It felt like the kids barely got to participate unless parents were willing to spend more out of pocket. We were thankful to be invited and the kids still had fun, but based on the cost of the games alone, I can’t see us hosting a party there ourselves. I wouldn’t want other parents to feel pressured to pay extra just so their kids could join in. Just wanted to share our experience.
They don't make it like they used too. Place needs a deep clean/remodel. Employees were good though.
The arcade area itself isn't that bad. I would probably rate it 3 stars. My kids really enjoy this place but some of the games have issues. Now, for hosting a birthday party there, I would never recommend this place. I paid for the highest package, which included them to decorate and a goodie box. I've spoke to them multiple times about my son's theme and the colors and they choose to ignore it and someone even lied to me saying they don't have that color goodie bag. Come to find out the day of the party that they did, they just didn't want to give it to me for whatever reason. When I arrived to set up the balloons and decorations I brought, they didn't use my colors for table clothes, they didn't even put table clothes on all the tables so it looked very cheap and trashy, and they even expected me to take down the previous party decorations. Haha, not joking. I walked away and I guess she got the hint and did it herself. No one ever came to check on us to see if there was anything we needed, I was constantly going to them. When the party was over, they asked if I wanted to leave my balloon stands I can because they had a party right after me with the same theme color. which blew my mind because if you had two parties with the same theme color why didn't you care to follow my instructions in the first place? Glad the person after me though got what they wanted. It looks out of date, bad service and the food wasn't the best. I highly recommend looking else where.
Wish I could have left a better review, but when the restrooms have no soap and the sanitizer machines are empty….this is how people get SICK. Bring your own soap and sanitizer if you want clean hands after playing games that thousands of little and big hands touch every day. This is what happens when management is lazy…everyone else is lazy. 7/27/24. 4:30pm.
Took my grandkids in to eat & play games. It was miseralbly hot the entire visit. We ended up cutting our visit short because is was cooler outside w/the breeze at 100 outside.
Salad bar was good. Pizza on the buffet was all ice cold. No wait staff came to our table at any time to remove used dishes. We were not greeted or spoken to by anyone other than the cashier.
This place used to always be great for the kids and the food was good. Tonight there was not many people here and almost no food on the buffet. Crumbles of remains of salad toppings, almost anytime we went to get pizza they had enough to get one slice of undercooked or burnt pizza. Even 2 trips I made personally there was nothing at all not even sweets and other people waiting on food as well. And every time I tried to talk to the manager to ask if they were having issues with the ovens or what the reason for the shortage of food was he would walk around the corner avoiding me.
Took our grandson there today. He wanted to ride the roller coaster. The seatbelts in the roller coaster don't work. The roller coaster is way too fast for any child. I rode with him and was being thrown all over the place. The person running the ride was too busy playing a game on his phone to realize that the ride was going way to fast and that we were being slung all over the place. My grandson has a bruise on his shoulder, and I have a nice long nasty cut on my hand, wrist and arm from it. The bowling didn't work. The balls came but the pins never dropped. Over half the games didn't work the was they should or didn't work at all. The game room is a shame and they should seriously do something about it.
We went Yesterday drove in from out of town to spend the day in Abilene. Just walking in there was a dirty smell. We paid and our cups were filthy, we walked in and everything was dirty. This place literally looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. There was stuff spilled on the floors, tables were sticky and still dirty. Just plain gross. Very disappointed. Didn't stay to eat at all. Went and asked for my money back and left. Definitely will not go back at all.
This was a huge disappointment! Way over priced and food was terrible! I was charged $10 for a child drink! I will never come to this location again! We paid $115 for 5 adults and 3 small children! Not including any tokens for play! I do NOT recommend this place!
Poor selection of pizza , very few things on the buffet at noon kinda surprised now I remember why I come here maybe once every few years now. (Edit) went again yesterday 12/21/23 More of a selection this time around, still had a few pizzas cold on the buffet, won’t be returning. Arcade room is alright, the pizza is terrible.
Not the Gattis from before COVID. Overpriced understaffed. Good luck getting fresh pizza. Or fresh desserts. Or an employee who seems like they have more than one working brain cell or gives a crap. Gattis is done in my opinion.
If I could give this place negative stars I would. Possibly the worst dining experience in Abilene. The arcade was run down and games needed maintenance badly. A lot of them broken or took our money. If you could put disappointment on a plate--that is exactly what the food tasted like. It had been sitting out for a long time and was cold. Salad bar items looked and tasted rancid. I tried to get a staff member's attention to see if they had any veggie pizza and they flat out ignored me. Some of the other staff were nice. It just felt like a business waiting to die. Would not recommend to anyone.
We took our kids & grandkids to a family outing, and it was a disaster! After the ticket shock, we were further disappointed at the selection of pizza. The buffet had 2 out. We had to wait almost 20mins to even eat. Then fight all the rest of the customers whom had also been waiting for pizza! The pizza was subpar at best. Definitely not worth what we were charged to eat there! Then came the game room...that was so disappointing. How are you going to charge $5.00 to play a 10 second game?? Gatti's has went down hard. I remember going and enjoying not only the food, but the game room, and atmosphere. Even the kids were disappointed in ready to leave. Took all the family fun out of dining!! And almost broke the bank, only to be disgusted by the whole experience!!!
This place use to be great. There were only 4 pizzas on the buffet which were all ice cold. The pasta on the bar was hard and dried up. We did request a pizza and it was prepared but left a lot to be desired 🤔. Game room is awesome for kids, however the place really needs a good scrubbing and refresh it's becoming outdated.
The cashier had an attitude and acted like we were bothering her. She had no idea what the specials were. There is a meal and game pass specual and the cashier told us there was no such thing. The food was cold and the place just opened. The salad bar was warmer than the pizza. The people that cooked the pizza had an attitude as well. The place there had no a/c. Half of the games in the arcade were broken. The girls also working the ticket counter in the arcade were just mad to be there and the attitude was passed to the customers. Will never go there again. Your best bet is to go to Papa Murphys and order a take home pizza would be cheaper and much less of of a hassle. Won't have to deal with the attitude either.
We went on Sunday for my son's birthday and this place has really gone down hill. There was hardly any pizza on the buffet line and you had to wait for them to make more to even get some, there was no silverware the plates were dirty and it wasn't busy so that is what surprised me but now I understand why. All the employees walk around like they are miserable not one single smile and if you ask for anything it is a bother for them. In the arcade area they painted the top of the case where you go to buy stuff with your tickets and had wet paint signs everywhere. You couldn't do that after the restaurant closed? I think we would just rather pay more at Chuck e cheese and go there.
Look the bottom line is this place was rocking and rolling 15 years ago. But now decor made of zip ties? Filthy zip ties. Look I hate to see local business suffer Its really sad to see. I really hope a local investor sees this place and sees the potential. The market demand is there. Abilene needs its longstanding businesses. We don't need them to struggle and be a shell of its former self.
Terrible , we spent 50 bucks in the game room and over half the games just took our money Train was broke so the girl said and Bumper cars too Place was dirty and prices were way too much I mean 40 tickets for a sucker! Are you kidding me ! Won’t be back we will stick to prime time where we should have gone in the first place Lesson learned for sure!!!
Drinks taste nasty. All the pizza is old. Nothing fresh on the buffet. Very disappointing. Haven't had Mr. Gattis in years and wanted to enjoy it again. This Gattis is run down. The drink counter is broken and leaning. Don't know who owns it now but not the Gattis of old. I was the G.M. of the Mr. Gattis in San Angelo for 16 years. Can't believe this what it has fallen to. Stood in line for over 5 minutes before anyone noticed there was a line of people waiting to come in. Even the fresh pizza tasted old. Employees didn't engage customers and weren't friendly at all. Would recommend any other pizza place over this one.
Horrible experience! Went there for my daughters 3rd birthday with family that was in town visiting and they had ABSOLUTELY NO PIZZAS OUT and what they did have out it was cold had been sat up ! Everybody was standing around talking etc ! So I got my money back and they didn’t wanna give it back at first tried to give me a gift card ! I THINK NOT ….. I wanted my money cause I knew we wouldn’t return. Got my $72 refund ! WILL NEVER BE BACK HERE ! ATP THEY JUST NEED TO CLOSE DOWN
The food was cold & stale. I had a sweet tea & immediately spit it out, it tasted awful. My husband had coke & he said it was watered down. The employees didn’t even bother to put fresh food out. They didn’t even care. The place was run down and looked dirty. Im never coming here again. Stay away. Also the games are overpriced.
No greet entering g had to wait for someone to come and charge us. I was looking forward to the pizza since they closed the Gatti's in my town and was very disappointed. The pizza was old and we ordered a pizza to be made and you can tell the pizza crust was old meaning the dough. Pasta was overcooked the only thing that was fresh was the salad. Will not visit again. Do not recommend the place to anybody. Not even a Thank You when leaving. I can go on but what for.
Terrible selection. Plates were nonexistent and when they did bring more several were dirty with food still stuck to the plates. Just an awful all round dining experience. I wouldn’t expect it to be in business much longer.
‼️STAY AWAY‼️ 🚫 Pizza was absolutely disgusting It wasn’t even cooked all the way made me my mother-in-law my son And my husband, all sick. My stomach was in pain, Let’s just say their food ended up right back in their Possession. Do yourself a favor and go eat somewhere else and then go take your children there to go play games. FYI, it’s extremely hot in there. And a lot of their games do not even work. 🚸. The arcade in the mall is actually not that expensive. BTY
the overall look of the restaurant is poor with outdated wallpaper, sticky floors, and faded paint. when one goes inside it isn't much better. pizza and desserts left on the counter looked cold and stale. fresh pizzas were rarely put out unless specifically asked for by the patron which caused delays in being able to eat. cookies were rock hard and crispy so not able to enjoy those, and don't even get me started on the unappetizing way the brownies and cinnamon rolls looked. tables throughout the restaurant had trash on them, and no one was seen washing them off and taking dishes to the back to be washed. this left few dishes to be found for customers coming in that were clean. the air conditioning was also out, and having a hot, typical texas day of 96 made things uncomfortable. they tried to have some fans blowing to cool things down, but if you weren't in the path of one of these fans then one was miserably hot. the cartoon room was closed down as well as the tv room so most patrons were forced in the lobby were most of the booths were replaced with tables and chairs. never had a chance to go to the game room this time, but no doubt they are expensive as ever with games costing $3-4 to play. unless this restaurant makes some drastic changes to decor, customer service, and overall dining experience this over priced buffet visit will be my last.
Didn't have any pizzas set out for those coming at store opening. Several plates looked like they had been washed but had food on them and were stacked in with the clean plates. Did bot matter what kind of pizza you got the sauce was horrible. The dessert pizzas were just as bad if not worse. The spaghetti from the post bar was obviously from the day before. Only thing that was half way descent was the soda even then the syrup ran out and the restaurant hadn't even been open 5 minutes. Won't be visiting Gatti's anytime soon.
first to start off with the food has gotten horrible after the many years mainly the mac’n’cheese as a child i used to love it but now its got no flavor its got no juice and just cooked mac n cheese pretty much no cheesyness and the banana pudding is so bad too its so watery but the ice cream is the worst its worse than mcdonalds ice cream machine its either not working or its just water.. we didnt get any service either no one came by to get our plates nothing. and the atmosphere sucks so bad before i used to love the smell of everything and the arcade but now the arcade feels oudated and the place has no smell and all the tables suck they’re either wobbly or are just sticky. i have no idea what yall did but go back to yalls old way..
