Great deals and friendly service. The entire experience culminated in them asking questions to make my food better that I hadn't even thought of. For example, they mentioned that since I bought 6 I qualified for 6 free, and they even asked if I wanted them warmed up. Edit 8/27/22: Still great service and great product!
Love Love Love!! Great People working there. Always helpful & Friendly. And of course Great Unusual Food. Sausage gravy in s toll ?? Really ! Yep, and delicious. And pizza on a roll, egg bacon cheese in a roll. Not to mention all the wonderful sweet rolls.
Just left on 09/28/23 got there 10 min before close and was still greeted with the most amazing service! 10/10 and food is always good. Very impressed that as the last customers, the employees were still very kind!!
For the longest time I would drive by this place and wonder what it was. I finally had a friend tell me and I decided to try it out. Wow! The first time I just had the Polish Sausage. It was delicious! So the next time I ordered the standard 3 dozen party try for my office. Everyone loved it.
Where to start... You want sweet, savory, spicy, & anything in between, This is the place. Fantastic bread/dough with a hint of sweetness filled with just about anything you could dream. Sausage Gravy, Eggs & Sausage, Philly Cheese Steak, Jalapeno Popper, Meatball, Creamed Spinach, Fruit... The list goes on! I selected an assortment to try as many as possible. The fruit & cheese pastry style a wonderful warm or room temperature. The flavor of the month Turkey & Stuffing was definitely a favorite. I didn't get to try everything, but I will get there! The iced coffee was great too smooth & not bitter. Can't wait to pickup some during my next visit.
This has become a regular place to eat for me and my wife. Good food, great service, friendly staff. We would especially like to commend Shatarka. She is always super nice and makes sure the food and coffee are nice and hot. Always a pleasure to visit and we love anticipating the new flavor of the month.
Food was absolutely delicious. The sausage and gravy kolache and the lemon poppy seed muffin were our favorites, but everything was top notch. You can't beat the prices, either. We'll definitely be coming back here again!
I’ve been to this place more times than I can remember and it has never disappointed me once. The flavors are always delicious. They never forget the napkins or receipt. Customer service plays a big role in my opinion and I just wanted to come on here and give a shout out to Shatarka! She is always full of joy and so very friendly.
My family loves coming here for breakfast, their kolaches are 10/10 (especially the sausage & cheese ones.) We recently stopped by and Eddie gave us exceptional service! He was very efficient and kind, made our morning!
Delicious!! It was our first time trying a kolache, but it won't be our last! Great service and the kolche was excellent! They were generously filled with a soft and fluffy dough. I liked the potato and cheese one the best.
I visited the Kolache Factory today for the first time since hearing about how awesome their food and service is from a friend and let me just tell you they did NOT disappoint! I wanted to try everything! I also had a coupon I was able to use which was a huge bonus, the girl taking my order forgot to put in my coupon (things happen, but definitely didn’t take away from my great service I was given) and they took care of me accordingly! I will definitely be back! Such awesome service, very polite and fast and everything was delicious! Wish there were more stars to give!
If you haven't had kolaches for breakfast, you don't know what you're missing! There are lots of sweet and savory selections and their house blend coffee is great. The restaurant had comfortable seating with plenty of space.
If you are from Texas you are familiar with what they're selling based on the name of the establishment. Is it as good as your hometown donut shop kolaches? No. Does it fill the Kolache craving while away from the greatest country in the U.S.? Absolutely. My go to is the sausage jalapeno and cheese and the sausage gravy.
I've gone to KF several times! Their breakfast kolaches are so delicious. I appreciate that they give the option to warm them there; that way, I can eat on the go! I've had their egg kolaches —they're my favorite, especially the egg & cheese and the potato, egg & cheese. Their Caramel Macchiato is so refreshing and tasty. It has easily become my favorite. This is one of my favorite breakfast spots.
The employees there are very kind and courteous. The place is very clean. The kolache’s are out of this world, try the Philly cheesesteak one, the chicken enchilada one, and all the others are just insanely good. The cinnamon rolls are out of this world as well. What else could you ask for for breakfast please
Food very good. Great selection.
I’m confused that there are bad reviews? We go here almost every other weekend and have never had a bad experience. We’ve probably been over 20 times now. We’ve ordered inside and online pickup but mostly just wait in the drive thru. We see a lot of the same employees that all seem very nice to me. You do have to get there early because they do run out, it’s a popular place but that’s not a problem for us. Everything is delicious, we definitely have favorites but I don’t think we’ve ever been disappointed. There’s a been a few times that the rolls were a little less filled than we wanted but not enough to complain about especially for the price. So for the people saying it’s not worth, I don’t understand, they are very cheap, so of course it’s not going to be stuffed to the max, they probably wouldn’t cook right if they were too full. fruit ones are like $2 and meats are $3-4 sometimes $5 for the fancy ones. If you’re on the fence you should definitely try it. I recommend pepperoni, sausage/egg/cheese, and sausage/gravy. If you order online you can get the poppyseed one which is like a sweet nutty flavor and very delicious. Also please make the cheeseburger one year round! It’s our absolute favorite one!
Food was fanominal. Had the sausage roll, potato roll, ham roll, strawberry roll, and cinnamon roll. Bread is light like Hawaiian roll, and food was so tasty!!! They offer military discount. Highly recommend. (Ham 'n egg roll was only one that wasn't great).
First time ever having a Kolache and I gotta say, LOVE THEM. Walked in with my wife with the intention of getting a few for the breakfast drive home and ended up getting 2 dozen... yes, every flavor sounded amazing and they WERE! I am lucky this place isn't closer to where I live because it would be very very bad for my waistline. You cannot go wrong with any flavor, they have savory, sweet, and everything in between. The buns have a great fluffy texture but are still robust enough to hold all the fillings they cram into them.
Although they seem understaffed, they always maintain their professionalism and friendliness. I enjoy coming here with my wife during the morning on weekends before we walk around Mt. Trashmore. Our favorite is the Carolina pulled pork, ranchero, and polish sausage. Ordered a strawberry Danish one time and they gave me an extra on the house. Kolaches are a Texas breakfast staple, and I'm glad they have this here in the 757!
Stopped in for a quick bite yesterday and tried a few different kolaches and they were all delicious, the Ranchero one was my personal favorite. The service was outstanding as well. Jordan helped ring us up and they took extra care talking to our kids and including them in the process. The experience was so wonderful and we would definitely stop back in if we are in the area, so yummy!
The food was very flavorful. They have a couple different syrups to flavor the coffee. Very clean restaurant and attentive staff.
the kolaches are super delicious, great value for the price, and lots of variety. I've been coming here since they opened and always get good customer service. Jamie is new and made me his first caramel macchiato this morning and I would have had no idea if he hadn't told me; it's incredibly delicious (much better than the local big coffee chain, and more affordable)! Jamie in particular was a friendly start to my day!
This place has evidently been here for a decade or so and I never noticed it until a friend from out West had googled to find a kolaches place. I've only ever had these in Texas before, and they are perfection. I'm actually toying with looking into opening a franchise myself. Go here. The food was so good I failed to take time to get a photo! Husband and I loved the sausage and gravy. Offspring favors the bacon egg and cheese followed by a cream cheese sweet one.
I've come here twice now. Ordered online and picked up the first time and the second time was dine in. The team on both days were welcoming and helpful. This morning's team was phenomenal! Always being so kind and friendly to the customers and each other, even when it became a bit busy. I'd highly recommend stopping by and trying something new or enjoy your favorite!
A coworker brought some to work and gave me a bite, and that was all she wrote. I immediately made an account and placed an online order. No regrets. Potato, egg, and cheese was the only disappointment out of our order. Only because it was underseasoned. Kolache of the month, eggs Florentine, was on point. I highly recommend these guys. My only gripe is that they close at 2 in the afternoon.
Thank you Kolache factory for continuing to support veterans. The food and quality is always great. I recommend trying to get here early because popular items do run out quickly. Thank you for the great staff for providing great food and service on a busy holiday rush.
I picked up a delivery order, and the customer service was outstanding. Kaylee assisted me and was polite, professional, and efficient. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were attentive and quickly assisting customers.
As much as I love to try various cultural foods. Kolache Factory would be the place I recommend. In case you didn't know, it's Czechoslovakian pastries that can be eaten anytime of the day. Would it be their traditional, egg or savory types of Kolache pastries. I wish that this place doesn't close early like 2p because most working people don't get off until after that time.
OMG...Are u kidding?! Forget the methadone clinic. Take my behindt to the kolache withdrawal clinic! I came in to get a dozen (mixed) to take back home to mom. Figured I'd eat just one out of the "go" box while sitting there. Sorry mom. Let me tell u something, forget about it. U cant eat just one kolache. These things are more addictive than crack. I hear they have one of these in Texas. Have a biz trip out there in a few months, and will go out of my way 2 track that place down.
Discovered this gem yesterday [4/8/24] after a dental visit & still a few hours before the solar eclipse. You first will notice how clean the place is. I had heard of kolache rolls but had never tasted one. Well, I ordered two: the creamed spinach I ate in-house & it was wonderful. The iced coffee I had with it was well above average for this region. The pepperoni roll I just heated up for today's light lunch (try 390° for 12 minutes) was equally delightful, with a generous portion of meat. The sales clerk was friendly & knowledgeable. Although I don't live in VB, I will make it a point to return soon!
This is one of my new favorite places to get food from. I've ordered from there 3x so far. I am trying to try everything on the menu! My favorites so far are the Ranchero and the Philly Cheese. The best part is its not a mess and I can eat it at work with no issues. When it's delivered yes it's cold. I pop it in the microwave for 20 seconds and it's perfect. I see ppl complain about that.. but it's delivered. Either way, I can't wait to try other items.
If you've never had a Kolache before, you're missing out! Stuffed bread is the best. Highly recommend
Let me tell you. If you haven't come here yet then you're missing out. I don't know of a place like this around here nor anywhere else. Now that I found this place it's saved on my normal to go to places. Got a Caramel Macchiato and it is soooooo delicious. First time coming here by the way. I got the Carolina Pulled Pork and the Brisket Kolache. Words can not describe how delicious this is. This is my new normal place now. I can't wait to try more items on the menu in the future.
This place was new to me and I loved the selections and tarts. I got 6 flavor tarts and a medium coffee ☕.
This was my 1st time trying Kolache factory and was pretty surprised about how many options they had. I'm definitely going back again.
I’ve driven past this bakery and finally had the chance to stop in on New Year’s Day. The moment you walk in, the bakery smells amazing. I tried the cherry and apple pastries with a hot latte—such a great treat on a cold day! The service was friendly, and they even told me about their rewards program. Thank you, Kolache Factory—I’ll definitely be back!
I pulled up to the drive-through at 1:56 and I got the most pleasant service from these two beautiful ladies. They were so nice and so patient with me. It just made my day and the kolaches were very good but MAN these girls know customer service.
As always, the food was top notch! Get there early for best selection.. This stuff is awesome and sometimes sells out before closing.. It's worth it!
Not always in the area, but every time I am in the Virginia Beach area I make it a point to stop at their restaurant. Never disappointed. The variety is sure to satisfy the cravings, sweet or not.
Fun fact, this is the only Kolache Factory on the East Coast! My husband and I ventured in here after months of listening to my Dallas-based cousin rave about how much she loves kolaches and we couldn't have been more pleased!! We ate like...13 kolaches on our first visit here?!?! My personal favorites for savory flavors are the Sausage and Gravy + Chicken Enchildada. My favorite for the sweet flavor is the cream cheese (the cheese of which is crafted in house!!) I HIGHLY recommend getting an Earl Grey tea with a pump of lavender (yes, they really do this) to go with your meal! Absolutely divine experience, wonderful customer service. Even though we have a dietary restriction involving wheat, we can't stop thinking about the Kolache Factory and their pillowy pastries!!!
First off, Kimberly was wonderful!! She explained everything about what KF offers, how to warm them up, what the monthly special is, and even gave military discount! The kolaches were tasty, freshly baked. Appreciate the variety they have. Not too expensive either. The shop was clean and employees were very polite and kind. Will definitely be back and already spread words about KF!
I like everything about this place. The staff was very nice. The area is very clean and inviting. The food was great! Didnt care much for the philly tho. But would recommend El Cubano, Sausage & Gravy, Strawberry, Bacon Egg & Cheese, Jalapeno Poppers ♡ if you are stressed out and hungry. Go here. Coffee was ok better than einstein. Get the buns warmed up!
I’m from the way north where I’m used to pasties (a pie crust outside, filling inside) so I was delighted to see something similar offered here. I ordered ham and Swiss and an Italian sausage one, cup of coffee (they have flavored coffees) and a water. My kids ate the ham and cheese and I LOVED how they diced the ham so it was easy for the kids to eat. I WILL be back. Everything was served hot but not burning-mouth hot. Kid friendly breakfast options, too.
First time going to the Kolache Factory. The food was great and I am glad I finally went. It's definitely something different but simple enough that you can find something for just about anyone. I ordered online an hour before pick up, however when I showed up my order had to be cancelled and I had to pick out what was left in the shop. I wish my experience had gone differently, but I was informed the shop had a huge order today something around 1800 Kolache. I am happy for the business, but not having the products I ordered in advance seems like poor planning. I do plan to visit again and hope it goes better next time. My advice to anyone looking to go here would be to go as early as you reasonably can so that you can get what you want and not miss out.
Definitely more designed for pickup than dining in, but they did have a few tables! The non-meat, egg and cheese or egg cheese and potato options must be very popular, because I ordered one of each and they were the last available for the day (at around 1pm!). They still had several of most meat options and a bunch of dessert/pastry items left, however. Cashier was friendly and labelled the tray clearly to prevent mix ups. I feel like if you came early or booked a catering order this would be a great way to do an office breakfast, but I probably would not dine in again.
The kolache's are surprisingly delicious. I have tried sausage, chicken enchilada, cheese steak, spinach, bbq brisket, sausage and gravy, and egg and cheese. Chicken enchilada is my favorite. Spinach is a close second. It tastes like spinach dip with hawaiian bread. I look forward to trying more flavors. The desserts are not on the same level as the kolaches, but when I got hungry later the peach and apple hit the spot. My son liked the cherry. Once warmed up, the cinnamon rolls are pretty good.
Kolaches were yummy. Ranchero is the way to go. I also got an egg bacon and cheese, which felt kind of bland after eating the ranchero. I also got an iced caramel macchiato, and it was ok (not great).
Unfortunately the kolache was gooey seemed under cooked this morning. Also I would recommend the pepperoni not be in a clump on the kolache
I had an appointment at the hospital down the road and decided to stop here for lunch because it’s been a while. Well the food is great but I guess something about the transaction rubbed me the wrong way. My total came out to 19.07 and I gave a 20 plus 1 dollar tip in the jar. The cashier said she needed some quarters from the other register but I said I could go out to my car and get 7 cents. I don’t know her attitude at that point just kind of came across wrong and had I known that would have happened I probably wouldn’t have gave the 1 dollar tip and instead the .93 cents. I felt like I was trying to be helpful so she wouldn’t have to fish out a bunch of coins but eh, no good deed goes unpunished, I guess. Otherwise great stop and good food.
I've been here several times. First off, the staff are always warm and friendly. The food is mostly great, with the occasional miss. The kolaches are cheap enough that you can get several and find the ones you really like. My favorites are the sausage gravy and the pizza kolaches. The pizza one's grease from the pepperonis (it's basically a tight packed inch high stack of pepperonis in there) fry the bottom of the kolaches and give it a great texture. All kolaches have a soft sweet dough, at least on top of not all around, and the various breakfast options are excellent. You'll run into the occasional miss, where too little stuffing is in one, or the meat in one is quite tough, or there are surprise onions where you didn't expect that taste. But on the whole, they are a wonderful and affordable comfort food. Oh, and the sausages in breading are amazing. Go spicy if that's your thing but definitely try them. That gently sweet bread really sets off the savory!
This spot had been on my list to try since the pandemic. i have drove oass it too many times to count. we finally tried a about a week ago. we got there about 20min before closing, and they treated us like they just opened i say that because some places would give attitude and try to rush u out, but not this place. they answered every question we had and told us about any and all deals they had. we got a few thing including a cinnamon roll, philly cheese, jalepeno sausage kolaches, and a orange cranberry muffin, all were pretty good, the philly needed a little more seasoming for my taste, the polish wasn't bad just not for me. and sweets were all good, we will return to try more.
Very good. The breading is great, sausage was a miniature version of what I was expecting. Still beats a McDonald's dry biscuit. Definitely not the same as you would get in texas. In texas the jalapeños are in the sausage, not a clump of parts in one end of the cavity with the miniature sausage.
No one wants to hear an advertisement when they pull up to a “fast” food restaurant. So annoying.
Not bad but for what you're paying for it's mostly a bread roll with some egg or meat baked into the center. I can recreate the same thing with some dinner rolls and food I cooked myself to make a slider that's cheaper and I don't have to drive across town for. The filling in the center was smaller than I was expecting. It was mostly bread. If you like it, great, but I'll just make breakfast sliders at home if that's what I'm in the mood for.
Yall need to get rid of the girl with red hair and piercing, her attitude is gross when you’re speaking to her at the register AND listening to her take orders on drive thru…. Foods great but the service makes it whack
The service is always great, but majority of the time I leave disappointed by the food. I am not sure if it’s due to the time of day I’m going, 6am-7am, but the kolaches I get taste old and dry. If you’re lucky to get them fresh they’re pretty good, but most of my experiences have been poor. Really disappointing since this is the only place to get them around here.
So, two part review... starting with not bad, just the traditional food I was looking for. These are bready buns with filling, or the same bready bun, flattened, topped with pue filling. I truly did Not enjoy them, but they were not bad, per se. <$8 - I tried egg/potato, strawberry and peach. The egg/potato was disappointing, the sweet sweet dough and savory didnt work for me, besides the appatent contamination with some the ham-like product found in the last 2 bites. The bottom bread of the peach was so moist it had that "almost raw" texture. The strawberry was probably the best, all things considered, but the bready / pie filling combo didnt work for me. Alternatively, this is not the traditional kolache (cookie) from the old world - there is nothing cookie-like about these. I thought when I saw "roll" that maybe they'd be like the kolache nut roll, or walnut roll, or poppy seed roll, or apricot roll, or lekvar roll that Im familiar with... they are not. If you're looking for an alternative to fast food, or simply looking something different, maybe try the bbq brisket... I've not had it, but could imagine something breadyand sweet like those sweet Hawaiian dinner rolls, filled w bbq might work.
This was my first visit and very possibly my last. Three of us went to grab what we thought was a quick bite to eat on 9/10/21 around 11:15 AM. The cashier, Kemba was not customer friendly and moved at a very slow pace. The store was out of many of the kolaches we saw online. I chose a cheese steak, an Italian chicken kolache and a cinnamon bun. The food was very flavorful. I only wish the roll was filled with more of the topping because you get a lot of bread which is tasty... but I wanted more filling. The cinnamon bun was delicious. My friend's orange cranberry muffin was good but her steak kolache was practically all bread. The drive thru appeared to be moving at a very fast pace. Inside was a waste of time.
Well I guess not all Kolache factories are the same it seems. Critisms would be food was cold still out of the microwave when they heat the food. They have more people in the back than the front. Two people up front including the drive thru...... Tables were filthy not one was wiped down..... Also where is the music? So quiet inside all you hear are the workers.
They could definitely use a third person to take orders. Food was good. There was next to nothing for atmosphere. No music. Very quiet.
Why did it take the new employee 15 minutes to ring up my order? Can we get some decent on the job training for these employees? Thankfully I wasn’t in a rush this morning but that doesn’t mean waste my time either!
First visit this morning. We ordered a ham, egg & cheese, a bacon, egg & cheese, a peach, and an apple. They were warmed for us. We thought they were good, but not amazing. We preferred the fruit kolaches over the savory ones. The coffee was hot but tasted burnt, and the soda fountain was down, and we were told only bottle water available for purchase. Overall, we are glad we stopped and gave it a try on this visit to VA Beach, but won’t be a must stop at in the future.
Went for the first time today and ordered a cherry kolache and a bacon egg and cheese kolache. I bit into the bacon egg and cheese and there was no bacon and no cheese, just soooo much egg. The cherry kolache was literally just cherry pie filling on top of the bread. Not a huge fan, I don't think I'll be back. Not sure what the hype is about. Service was great though.
It's been a few years since I last visited and I remember why I haven't gone back. Not only has the price gone up the ingredients lack as well. I ordered the pull pork and it was so small! Meat was dry. I also order 3 bacon egg and cheese for the same price as the pork. It was a little bigger but wheres the bacon and cheese???? It was all eggs! I want to like being a czech native but its not worth the money. I would gladly pay if the ingredients were there.
When it's good, its good. The problem is they have served me pork twice. The first time we told them that we could not eat pork, and they failed to tell us that there was pork in what we ordered. The second time, the gave me the wrong kolache which had pork in it. It is impossible to tell what is inside, and so I was very upset to have eaten haram meat without my knowledge. That's why I am taking the stars. I had philly cheese steak and polish. They were so good. The bread is so soft and fresh, tastes so good. The steak filling is so good and the portion was good. The beef sausage in the Polish was so good. I am not a sausage person but I loved it.
Hit or miss if the kolachies will be filled a decent amount or barely. They completely all outside or inside orders before swapping. So hope you pick right and you could be waiting 2 minutes or 10 minutes.
I was surprised that there is a two dozen minimum required to order the breakfast tray. When I called to inquire about this and order a lesser amount the manager's tone was that I was bothering her with a question. The prices for a group buy are high, however I was considering it. Unfortunately, I'm sorry if possibly your manager was having a bad day but you lost a potential customer.
These things are NASTY no other way to put it. Cream cheese tastes like a sweet butter as opposed to cream cheese. Egg and sauce mushy. Very underwhelmed bc i thought these would taste so good smh disappointing
Average food. The filling varies a lot.. so sometimes too much and sometimes mostly bread. Very inconsistent. Should not have drive thru open if only one employee is working.... took over 15 minutes to get my food and I was only 3rd in the line. Will say the employee working had a great attitude though!!
I’m genuinely disappointed with the ongoing lack of availability at this Kolache Factory location. Every visit seems to come with the same excuse — “we’re out” — and it’s incredibly frustrating to stop by only to find they don’t have a proper selection of kolaches, the very thing they’re known for. Consistency and reliability are key to any good bakery or café experience, and unfortunately, this location continues to fall short. It’s a shame because when the kolaches are available, they’re excellent — but it’s becoming harder and harder to actually get them. I truly hope management takes steps to improve their inventory and customer experience because right now, it feels like the Kolache Factory has forgotten the “factory” part of its name
I think the people that work there wish they were somewhere else. As far as the food we ordered, there was very little resemblance of meat or filling - it was all bread! Mostly what we asked for was out of stock. Poor cleanliness. I was originally going to dine-in, but after looking at the tables, I decided I didn't want to sit down and stare at the crumbs and stains from previous customers. The cashier was hardly welcoming, and clearly had no idea about or motivation for her job. Definitely won't be coming back, unless we are desperate to feed the birds and are out of all other bread or seed options.
Well my first time experience is really a fat ZERO for this place. I had never been to this place before and was a sad first time experience! I saw the El Cubano on face book and thought it would be a good early lunch on my day off. Well i go to order and thr person behind the counter said they we sold out. I look around it is not even 1130 and there isnt another person in this place. Total disappointment and i will not be back. Sold out before 12 . What a joke. Well here is my edit and add to your sorry response. All I got from your employee was they were sold out and not even an attempt to say they were or would prepare more. The place was empty. So it is a big no for me to even try to give you my money to your establishment. You had one job and failed on a first time visit. This experience was a complete let down and will take my business elsewhere. 10/23/25 So while I believe in second chances you will not get a third. last time I went to your little store it was 11 AM this time I figured I would try at 7 am and had the same result you were sold out of the Polish Sausages. You have failed not once but twice, and I will never come back to even attempt to give you a try.
I am utterly annoyed at this visit. I placed an order, I pull up for pickup and they have us wait 10 mins at the order screen until they answer us. Finally I say I am here for pickup and they tell me they are out of what I ordered 15/20 mins ago and that it would be a 30 min wait. I ask for a refund since they don't have most of what I ordered and sat and waited for. They walk away from the drive thru window and take 15 mins deciding on how to do a refund. The lady comes to the window with and attitude and goes "it'll be refunded 3-5 days but you can't sit at the window" mind you we were there because they told us to wait and never came back. This place has severely gone downhill. I spent 30 mins there almost and left with nothing I ordered and out of money until it's refunded if they even figure out how to do that.
Went out of my way to be there for 6am opening on a Friday. Server let me in and the. Ignored me for 15 minutes. Would only take drive thru orders while I waited . When I finally asked for help and to order I was told it would be another 5 minutes. I went purposely to get a dozen for my staff at work , needless to say I left without getting anything . I won’t be spending my $40 here again .
I placed my very first time customer order a as a delivery order from here on a Sunday. It took 2 hours to finally get it. The delivery driver arrived and was told that the order just went into the oven about 5 minutes ago and it takes 25 minutes till ready. At this point it has been over an hour since order was placed. Then after the driver waited 30 minutes they tell her they dont have what i ordered even though they told her it was already in the oven. And at arrival they told her everything was made fresh to order they had some already made substiution items. To me they lied to the delivery driver twice. Not sure if i will ever try this place again. Depending on how good food is once delivered may try pickup. I dont know that i can trust them.
EXCESSIVE WAITING TIME , NOT NICE TO LEAVE A SIGN THAT SAYS YOU CAN PICK UP YOUR ORDER WHEN IT IS THE TIME TO BE PICKED UP YET GOT LATE FOR ANOTHER 15 MINUTES
The only good thing they had was out by 12:30 pm. (korean beef croissant)Mind you they close at 2 pm. Might as well close down your restaurant if you are gonna be out of items.
Went here on a recent weekday morning. When I arrived, there was ONE car in the drive-thru and as I pulled up, it pulled through. I waited a couple minutes before hearing "We'll be right with you." I waited a couple more minutes before again hearing, "We'll be right with you." Finally, after another couple minutes, I just left. I was the only car in the drive-thru, I don't believe there were any customers in the store and yet I sat there for probably 5-6 minutes -- and never had anyone take my order. Didn't give a rating for the food -- because I didn't get any.
One star, because geeze you can’t open the lobby for take away ? Like that’s to Rona-noid…Or at least find a way to speed up the drive through. Otherwise 5 stars because if you have been to houston you know how good they are , but you also know the entire premise of a Kolache is a fast takeaway food.
what happened?!?!?! It had been a couple months since I'd been there....and go there today to treat the office since many haven't tried your place. I should have known something was up, when I go to the drive thru and begin to order a mere dozen of the regular sausage kolache - the staple item - "Oh, let me see if we have enough for a dozen." WHAT?!?!? they only had 8 left so I made up the rest with sausage and cheese (double the price). I also ordered a dozen fruit. Get to my office to share my treats since it's my birthday, open the box as I am explaining and bragging and see kolaches slighty bigger than my thumb! The fruit ones were the same - no change there. Even the sausage with cheese ones were the same as before. So what is up with these things???? I paid full price for these POPCORN kolaches?!?!? Seemed like they are owned by someone else now as well. Needless to say, I had to quickly explain to my co-workers that THIS wasn't how they started out like. I advised them to not waste their time and money (because we are in Chesapeake). I apologized and said I'll run out to get a cake.
Very disappointed. This is not my first time here so I'm a surprised at today's encounter. The cashier took my order then proceeded to heat my food and take the next customer. It took about 5 minutes to answer his questions and receive his payment. She then prepped and served him his entire order while I stood there waiting at the counter. I literally had to ask her can I have my order. I probably wouldn't be upset if she had not just told him that it takes 20 to 30 seconds to heat these in the microwave so why then am I waiting 10 minutes for that. I got home and the Chicken Florentine and Korean Beef Kolaches we're both soggy on the inside like the croissant dough was not cooked all the way through. They tasted awful. Poor customer service and unacceptable food service.
The place really stuck it to me. They didn’t have what I ordered from Uber Eats and because they didn’t know what to do on their end, I ended up having to pay $50 and be on messenger for an hour with POS UberEats employees. After all that, I didn’t get anything.
We been doing business for 10 years family member got trust passed & arrest for simply food taking too long the anger lied about the camera & refuse to provide ! We emailed corporate & still no response we do need answers on how yall going to resolve this & why the manager lied about the camera & refuse to provide cameras this guy blocking customers to come in & personally think he abuse his power & He need to be banned from the business ! Also belief we been discrimination against!
We come here every now and then. Never had a bad experience until now. The person taking orders seemed a little lost or overwhelmed while taking orders. She kept taking orders and asking every single drink order if it was a S or L right after having taken the order. We thought maybe just a lot going on and she can’t check the transaction or remember. We come up, ordered, payed. She grabs one item and then comes back and says we are actually out of xyz. We had already paid for our order… she asks if we what something else. We asked if the ham and cheese was the same price as the items we had paid for. She was like ahh yeah it’s just a supplement. We looked at each other bc she did not sound sure lol and look at the board to find the price and it wasn’t the same and bc we order multiple it made some difference in the price. She was already overwhelmed and had had back and forth conversations with other costumers about the veterans deal active duty or retired whatever, so we didn’t want to add on to it. We looked at each other and we agreed “we are not coming back “ Overall just not a good experience. The atmosphere was already off and then our order mess up and lie was not a experience we enjoyed.
I purchased food on July 10th (Today) and the food was hard as a brick. I eat from here all the time, almost everyday before I come in to work. However when I called in and talked to the manager she was rude and nasty. Debating with me on how she cooked it so she knows that its right. I wasnt rude and loud with her because thats not my demeanor, however the attitude that I received for my complaint was ridiculous. Like I said I eat here very often and have never had a problem up until today. I didnt want a refund I just wanted the food remade. The food being wrong is the least of my concern, its the attitude of the manager in that establishment. Anytime that she is there the atmosphere is different. Her attitude is disgusting and it shows through her work that she doesn’t want to be there. Proper management in any establishment is important and how you take care of your guests should be TOP PRIORITY.
