Had an absolutely fantastic experience at Lange. Even though I walked in with a nice watch, I thought I’d go unnoticed. That was not the case, I was approached, sat down, and shown a couple different pieces with no rush at all. THIS is how you impress customers. If I ever have the budget for one of these time pieces, they’ll be at the top of my list. Thank you to the SA that spent time with us today!

I recently bought the Zeitwerk, my first time purchase at Lange and it’s an incredible piece. Aya Li was incredibly helpful in guiding me to the perfect choice. Her expertise and friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommend both the watch and the excellent customer service

I visited the Lange boutique in December 2020, and despite of the challenges imposed by COVID, Aya provided me the top notch service. Her professionalism, patience, and helpfulness impressed me so much, and I do not hesitate to recommend the Lange nyc boutique to all of my friends!
My Wife and I had the pleasure of visiting this boutique on September 19, 2018, about 30 minutes before closing time. After being welcomed into the store, we were greeted by Ronaldo Bacelar. There was no hesitation, no obvious judgement being passed, and no rush. Mr. Bacelar asked what I was looking for and then asked us to take a seat while he grabbed the requested piece (pink gold 1815). In the meantime, we were also provided with water. Mr. Bacelar showed us the 1815, explained the features, fit it to my wrist, and observed. Seeing that it wasn't quite hitting the mark, he went and grabbed a Saxonia Moonphase, also in pink gold. Again, he explained the features, fit it to my wrist, and observed. Lastly, he brought over an 1815 Up/Down in pink gold. Among the three pieces, the Saxonia Moonphase and the 1815 Up/Down were the main contenders. The whole time, Mr. Bacelar was engaging us in conversation, explaining each piece, explaining the brand as a whole, and answering any questions. He also brought out a whole array of strap choices in order to see different color combinations. I ended up choosing the 1815 Up/Down because I really liked the appearance of the movement vs. the Saxonia, and also liked the Arabic numerals. While the purchase and registration/warranty paperwork were being completed, we were provided with complimentary champagne (we both had two glasses), we were introduced to the in-house watch craftsmen/technician, and enjoyed further conversation with Mr. Bacelar. By the time my wife and I left the boutique, it was after closing time, but our treatment in the boutique would never have revealed that fact. At one point during our transaction, I apologized for keeping them late, to which they responded by pouring the second glass of champagne and continuing along in the conversation. This was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever been exposed to, and played a big role in my decision to purchase at this boutique. Mr. Bacelar was friendly, low pressure, knowledgeable, intuitive, and an absolute joy to meet.
Found my experience with A. Lange New York to be Great ! Aya Li was very pleasant , knowledgeable and helpful. Her time with me was not rushed and efficient . Looking forward to returning.
Wonderful experience visiting this boutique. While the two pieces I was most interested in were not in stock, Ronaldo happily spent a good amount of time showing us comparable watches. He even brought out some upper end models that were not yet on display. His decade of experience with the brand was easily apparent and his passion still clearly remains. For a manufacturer with such a small annual production for which there is no shortage of demand, we were very impressed with how well we were treated. If this brand is on your grail list (it is most certainly on mine), you owe it to yourself to stop by and ask for Ronaldo.
Incredible boutique and brand experience. Was invited in to see the new collection and the sales team spent their time walking me through each watch. Insisted I try them on and use their loupe to inspect the movements. I spent a total of 90 minutes in this location and they never once suggested that I was wasting their time. 5 star experience.
This place is great. Came here to shop for a specific Lange watch and the staff was super helpful. Not only did they help me spend time with the watch I was interested in, they also let me handle and check out watches that were outside my price range (and with Lange, it doesn't take much to get there) Since COVID, you have to book an appointment to come see watches, which can be a bit of a hassle but it's understandable. Will be back for my next Lange watch!
A very enjoyable and relaxe experience with all the staff. Ronaldo was very passionated, engaging and took the time to answer my questions about the timepieces and A. Lange & Söhne. I was shopping around for a very nice gift to myself on Tuesday and got curious about the brand. I had the chance to see and try many of the timepieces in person. I am awestruck by their beauty and the amount of craftmanship that goes into each piece. I will definitely revisit the next time I stop by NYC.
Understand that I believe Lange to be the best watch manufacture in the world. Now, I can tell you that visiting this Boutique is, for a watch aficionado, like a kid visiting Disney World. Throw in the genuine hospitality of every person working there, together with the knowledge they have the brand, and others as well, and you have a fabulous destination in New York, for anyone who loves watches.

The boutique is a destination in and of itself... such beautiful displays and watches, and amazing staff. For such a high luxury boutique, there is no snobbery at all here. The manager is on another level, watch knowledge, hospitality, and style. It was just a wonderful experience.
Yesterday, I visited A. Lange & Söhne Boutique New York and was warmly greeted by a charming doorman and security guard. I had the pleasure of meeting the boutique manager, Ronaldo Baceollar, who embodies what a luxury sales professional should be: the look, the manner, the knowledge, and the empathy. He showed me two Zeitwerk pieces and demonstrated how they work, making it a truly delightful experience. What made it even more remarkable was the stark contrast with Hermès across the street, which felt chaotic, with disorganized, rude staff and unattractive merchandise. Well done, team! New York City needs more professionals like you. Thank you for allowing me to share my experience.

While it's reasonable to expect ALS to have a more extensive collection compared to brands like Patek Philippe , Audemars Piguet, and Vacheron Constantin, what truly stood out was the inclusive approach. Unlike other luxury establishments where a purchase history seems requisite, ALS does not demand such prior patronage. Sarah treated me with utmost respect and attention, regardless of my immediate purchasing intent. This speaks volumes about the brand's commitment to fostering positive interactions with both existing clientele and potential future patrons. While I refrain from asserting ALS as the pinnacle of watchmaking, as personal preferences inevitably differ, my encounter contrasts starkly with experiences in many luxury retail environments. Typically, unless an SA perceives a customer's financial capacity, they may not extend themselves to provide comprehensive assistance. My intention to revisit ALS with friends is not merely to admire their craftsmanship but also to introduce them to a brand that values inclusivity and customer satisfaction. If they resonate with ALS's ethos and seek similar qualities in a timepiece, I hope they too can experience the exceptional service I received from Sarah. While I'm not saying ALS is the best in watchmaking, everyone has different tastes. But my experience there was way better than what I've seen in other fancy stores. Usually, unless the salesperson thinks you're rich, they won't really help you much. I want to go back to ALS with my friends not just to check out their cool watches, but also to show them a brand that's fair and cares about making customers happy. If they like what ALS stands for and want a watch like that, I hope they get the same awesome treatment from Sarah that I did.

Besides the hospitality, Ronaldo is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about all things Lange, and he made astute recommendations based on just a few details about my lifestyle and current collection. I was totally impressed. I recommend this boutique to people no matter where they are on their Lange journey (or even if they haven’t started it yet). It’s a truly welcoming spot.

Entered, was not greeted (in fairness, there were a few other customers), stood around, and finally after 5 minutes of pacing one of the employees came over and asked (in a somewhat unfriendly manner) what I wanted. Looked at a few pieces (the body language was 'hurry up, look, and leave') and asked about a new model they were supposed to have a mock-up of (Odysseus) and was hurriedly told 'another client is viewing that piece' and was left hanging with that. I left very annoyed at the staff, boutique, and brand. I've been in dozens of watch stores all over the world and this is among the worst experience I have had.

Last time when I visited to find an automatic watch, despite they have several automatic models in display, they simply reply "no we don't" without any further explanation. Definitely will not shop with them in the future.
