Opinions de Tamashii Ramen Albans
I've been to a different location and this is the same. There was a new item they added to their menu and it was really good. The sticky buns. In all still great service and great food. I had the curry ramen and it dis not disappoint. My kiddos love the karage and the edemame. Great job Tamashii
UPDATED REVIEW on 2.9.26. Yes, I still frequent this amazing restaurant. Everyone is so friendly and the food never fails. I had a sore throat today and the hot green tea with honey and lemon was perfect. I can't wait until the one by my house is built. This spot is right next to my job. Its become one of my favorites. The food is wonderful, the service is always wonderful and the atmosphere is good. They are remodeling so you'll have to overlook it but once they are done it will be amazing. They have a ton of business each day.
The best ramen in Oklahoma! We've never been disappointed with our food. Be prepared to wait to be seated though. I recommend sitting at the bar in front of the kitchen if you only have a party of 2, you'll likely get seated faster and it's like getting a show with dinner.
This was amazing!! From the amazing sauce on the buns, to the extra crispy fried rice!! But let's not forget about the ramen!!! We shared a bowl and they were so kind to put it in 2 divided bowls and it was amazing!! The broth was so rich and full of flavor!! The pork belly in it was a perfect touch! The service was amazing and the food came out fast and and hot!!! So fresh!! We sat at the bar and it was a fun experience watching them prepare the food!
So this was my first time visiting a Ramen house and I loved it. I enjoyed how it was decorated , we only had a 20 min wait on a very busy evening. I had some chicken as well as tried some octopus and both were really yummy ! The decor was a nice touch and the staff were very friendly ! I enjoyed myself and will be back.
I love Tamashi. I really do. This location however was interesting because the service was just a little slacking. Wrong drinks, not enough hashi for the table, took a long time to pay and leave. It was quite busy and people were in training so I get it. The food was incredible as always. Can't wait to come back. You guys rock.
I don't usually leave reviews when I order from Uber Eats, but the food was worth every penny. My husband and I ordered two Tonkotsu ramen soups (one spicy and one with soy sauce). They were super fresh, and the broth was delicious and creamy. But what really blew us away were the takoyaki octopus balls—an absolute delicacy!
What are the best places in Midtown Oklahoma City. The food always hits spot on it's always delicious the service has always been friendly kind. In the atmosphere just matches the food and the vibe. This is a must go if you are looking for a place that has good vibe good food and a warm feeling
This place is pet-friendly 🙌🏼. After a long day of off-roading, we were starving and glad to find a spot that welcomed pets. They have an outdoor patio with A/C, which was perfect. The atmosphere was great, and our server was super friendly. Highly recommend the butter garlic fried rice, it was amazing! We also tried the donkatsu ramen and spicy miso ramen, and both were delicious. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in OKC!
Tamashii Ramen House in Oklahoma is phenomenal! The ramen is rich, flavorful, and comforting—perfectly balanced broth, tender noodles, and toppings that take it to the next level. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great place to warm up and enjoy a hearty meal. The staff is always friendly and provides excellent service, making every visit enjoyable. Whether you’re a ramen lover or trying it for the first time, Tamashii sets the bar high. Easily one of the best spots for authentic ramen in Oklahoma!
I have had Tamashii so many times, that I cannot count. I get the garlic fried rice kaaragedon style. It’s a 10/10 every single time. The saketini is my favorite drink. It’s a 9.6/10. I just wish it was a bit stronger. I’ve tried the octopus balls (6/10) and edamame (6.5/10), and they were okay. I don’t think I’d get either again though. I’ve ordered my food to go and through DoorDash, and it’s good that way too.
Pros 1. Ramses our server was and has continued to be a delight each time we visit 2. Time to be seated was excellent. Sat immediately 3. Food wait time wasn’t long / Expected time 4. Food very hot and fresh 5. Accurate order Cons 1. Parking is poor here 2. Some staff not as friendly though hard working it seems Final Thoughts I really enjoy this spot and so does my partner. We already have plans to bring some others to experience it! Would definitely recommend and plan to return. We especially appreciate the service from Ramses!

Such a nice place! I liked their service and the quality of food. There's always a long line on the weekends, but weekdays are not bad. They just need to fix the parking lot.

Very great to go ramen, the packaging was awesome best I've seen for ramen to-go. I got the original tonkatsu ramen and it did not disappoint very rice flavors and noodles that were still perfect even after a 20 min delivery time! I have also eaten here and everything was great. My only regret was ordering the reusable chopstick with my order. I though would receive something similar to in-store plastic chopstick but instead received a cheap .05 cent wooden to go sticks for $2.40 talk about a scam! Overall good ramen at the restaurant or to go!

Their food is INCREDIBLE.\nBut it's like driving a mountain to get in the parking lot. They are downtown, they are busy making money, there is NO EXCUSE for the 3rd world parking lot.

While I'm not wild about the seating and ambiance, their ramen is sooooo good. It's also reasonably priced. I usually get the garlicky ramen base and its delicious and good sized portion.

I like the vibe at the place. It was very clean, service was good. The norman location plays anime for customers. That location is also really clean and service is always decent. My only complaint was the food was pretty bland. Very presentable as always but bland. It was my first time eating at this OKC location. I've always had a good experience and food at the norman location. The garlic ramen was super bland compared to norman location. I've tried several different dishes at the norman location and they have all been good. Hopefully it was a one time thing. Other than that everything else was fine.
I was told this is the best Ramen in OKC. Not my experience. There was not an Asian in the building. I ordered the Miso butter corn Ramen. It was bland with no flavor except for the fat off of the pork belly. No spice, not salty and definitely not MISO. The bamboo shoots had a really bad flavor to them. The other ramen ordered was the Tonkatsu ramen. The bamboo shoots had to be picked out as the flavor was bad/odd. The karaage was typical fried chicken pieces, nothing special. Charged extra for a tablespoon sized portion of miso sauce. The Gyoza was good, but again, it was typical Gyoza, really hard to mess up. I don't find this restaraunt special at all.
Food still pretty good as before. Main reason we stopped. \n\nAmbiance still lacking and a little dirty. But not unexpected. After leaving were blocked in our parking space by a homeless drug addic…
delicious flavours but the broth is to oily for me. friendly staff. as typical small restaurant so be prepared to wait in line.

Tamashii use to be excellent but after all these years i’ve had it, it’s slowly falling off the portions are getting smaller and meat thinner. Several ramen places here in the city are the same, although appetizers are still somewhat fine. BUT parking is a hassle several ditches in parking area
My order was wrong and not very good because of it. I'm not a big ramen person to begin with , but my son and daughter in law love it. Of course their place they used to go in Las Vegas they liked better and I have to agree. I ordered the Spicy Ramen and they gave me the Miso soup , not the broth. It was too sweet and thick and took away from the jalapenos and even when I put the Choo Choo Kara in it which was Level 2 it just didn't do it. My son even order a side of Spicy Pork which I added a little too and the sweet corn soup was just too overpowering. We live in Mustang , so I wasn't going to drive all the way back to get it corrected of course. My son got the Spicy Miso Ramen and it was essentially the same as mine except for no jalapenos. My daughter in law got the Ninniku Tonkotsu , which I didn't get to try since she didn't get off of work till late. I had thought about getting that one instead of the Spicy Ramen. We also got an order of Karaage Chicken with Lemon and Golden Sauce. It was pretty good. I wanted 2 of the Chicken Thigh Skewers that was on the menu , but they said they no longer sell those. I would have rather had those than the Karaage Chicken. The cashier seemed to be new and maybe that's why my order got messed up. I did get a 10% Military Discount that she had to call a Manager over to give me. It was still $60.00 and my son and daughter in law both said it's not as good as our place in Las Vegas , but they haven't found a better ramen place to go to yet. They also said they haven't found a really good Chinese place yet , but found a good Thai place.
My husband and I were excited to try the food here because of the reviews. I started off ordering a Japanese old fashion but it had sweet sour in it and it was not drinkable. The server was very pleasant and answered our questions. We got two appetizers and they both were delicious. The octopus rolls and the pot stickers. My husband ordered the curry ramen and he said it was very bland and lacked flavor. I got the tonkotsu raman and same, no flavor. By the end of the meal, I started feeling very nauseous and I don't know if it was because it was so hot in the restaurant or if it was the sweet and sour tgat came in my drink. But then my husband started filling ill too. So we figured it had to be something in the food. We were both ill all night long. It made it by far the worst ramen experience we've had.
