A bit of a wait because they are always busy, but the food is worth the wait. Ive never left feeling disappointed.

I love Brueggers. It's a shame they are slowly closing. This one is still going strong it seems. Their bagels are just awesome.

They have the best Bagels in the area. And a lot of choices of cream cheese. The staff are always friendly and helpful. There was not any wait when I was there. They have restrooms and close by parking in the shopping center lot. Over all a great experience, I am a regular.

This was my first time at one of these. I really enjoyed the breakfast sandwich. I got an egg, bacon, and avocado on am everything. The cashier/food maker was a little bland but it was first thing in the morning so I won't hold that against him. I will be back.

Out of the brueggers still open in the area, I can confidently say this one is the best! Their bagels are always cooked better than the one in Delmar and they’re far-far friendlier than the one in East Greenbush.

This was the cleanest most sanitized place I've been to. They wear mask so when their talking their not spitting on food. They wear gloves and switch when dealing with money. Haven't been anywhere like this in a long time.

I cant really say much with words but my story is I came all the way from New York city to Albany and stayed at my best freinds house. At the morning we left the house to roam around and get coffee and left the wallet at home. When we ordered from this place at the time of bill bc we left the wallet me and my freind were very embarrassed. Although they offered us the drinks as courtesy and free I was so happy and was melted into so many emotions bc no one does that in NYC. Thank you guys again

I didn't know bagels can be this delicious. The coffee was good and Turkey Bagel was super tasty and fresh.

I searched for this place online the night before and place my order over the phone in the morning. Just like clockwork when I walked in the order was completed and ready to go. Excellent breakfast sandwiches delivered on time with great service. I was on the tight schedule because we were going for a lacrosse tournament at the University Albany and I'm glad everything worked out well. We will be back in the area many times and this will be my go-to place!

One of my favorite bagels anywhere. The real deal. Sriracha sandwich is great. Coffee is good but they don't have real milk; only half and half and almond juice.

Best Bagels in Capital Region, the price is perfect for the Dozen Bagel bundle, bagels and a choice of cream cheese. The quality is UNMATCHED in the area. The only downer is there are far less locations then ten years ago. Their used to be locations in more towns and cities, so this location is pretty much the best in the capital region. Their bagels taste like bagels and have NO aftertaste they are all delicious the cream cheese is amazing the coffee is okay. It is now my main bagel place.

I can’t say enough about how amazing their employees are and food! The whole team is so kind, welcoming and give exactly what I ask for (Emmy, Paeten (who writes little notes on my bags so I know it’s exactly what I want 😹), and Eve. Also If I want a cookie on a random day they let me know if they are hard or soft that day so I only get what I want. I have been to other Bruegger’s and their bagels were small and not nearly as good. They have a $9 special for a dozen bagels every Monday. Can’t beat that price! And the cherry on top, they are animal lovers and love looking at pictures of my foster kittens when there is no line behind me. (Animal lovers are always good people). I will always be a loyal customer!

Just stopped by to grab a farmhouse sandwich on my way into work and when I went to pay, the man at the cash register thanked me for my service and paid for the sandwich. The staff has always been really friendly. It can get busy and I see them behind the counter cranking out everyone’s orders.

Before heading south and home I had to get my bagels! Loved the girls super nice on holiday... and the bagels are awesome!

Bagels are perfect size, not too doughy. I'm from Brooklyn and appreciate good bagels. The everything bagel is excellent.

Bagels are great but I'm not sure why we can't sit inside and eat still. The whole dining room is closed.

Nothing like a garlic bagel w/veggie cream cheese. It's something about that combo for me. The bagels have that perfect crunch, not to mention a variety of cream cheese to choose from. Way back when they dulce de Leche cream cheese man was it good; they need to bring that back a least for the holiday. Stop by grab and grab you something.

Only complaint is requested bagel to be toasted with my order but was not. Otherwise service was quick, food tasted great, and quality was well worth the price. Website is very detailed and easy to navigate for allergens and desired style of food.

Food is ok but a little pricy for what you get. Their coffee is also very acidic.

The Everything bagel with plain cream cheese I had was tasty and had a nice texture after being toasted. Sad to say that the bagel was a shrunken version of what I am accustomed to. Large dining area. Plain sugar for coffee; no "raw" sugar. Coffee was OK. DunkinDonuts may be better choice for a buck less than my order.

Basically it's just any old Bruegger's sometimes it's good others it's eh. The bagels are usually consistent, and generally good if a little small. The problem lies behind the counter. Today for example they had essentially no bagels, like literally 30 or so total and nothing popular either. At 830 in the morning that's a setup for a terrible day. That falls squarely on management.

When you dont have too many bagel choices in the Albany area you tolerate Brueggers. Expensive and small servings. Service leaves a lot to be desired....But, despite my whining, the bagels are pretty decent and the cream cheese selection is good.

There was a seriously grumpy lady behind the counter. There is no organization to the line (where do you order a damn bagel)? But the Bagels are good. I'd have a look at the staff at this location if I were Bruegger's.

Use to be the best in the area and may still be the best but if you don't have product, you can't accommodate your customers. Went in for a dozen of mixed bagels and this site (wolf road) only had 2 types of bagels (blueberry and ???l) wasn't interested in either. Went back 2 days later and the choices were much better (no onion) but still very limited..maybe I should try a different location.

Decent bagel and fresh but downhill from there. No dine in eating- Dude COVID has been over a long time! Hash brown bite thingie- $2 or something was terrible at best. Stick to the paper so about half was gone. Fell apart and was MEH. Not even close to a hash brown. Waste of money. Maybe think about sticking to the bagels and open the damn dining room.

Dining room needs a deep clean. Broken chairs. Dirty window sills. Large amount of dark organic growth and dust on HVAC ducts, returns and ceiling tiles above the food prep area. Baseboards are falling apart too. Staff who were expediting were friendly and efficient.

I ordered a poppy seed bagel with plain cream cheese. Halfway through I found something other than cream cheese in it. I took it back to the counter and prepared another bagel for me. However, by stomach has been upset all day. I have food sensitivities, and I'm likely having a reaction to whatever it was in the first one. Your staff should really take more care and pay more attention.

Dirty prep surfaces seem to be a Brueggers staple. How difficult is it to wipe a surface between sandwiches that are shedding all of their seasonings? The toasting trays are beyond filthy. Thankfully they had plain bagels because they were out of other flavors that would have been preferred.

Was heading here to get bagels to bring back to Texas...as I always do. Called location at 4:05, only to find out they are closed and corporate has decided that the they should close from here on out at 3pm. Starting today, ON A JEWISH HOLIDAY, and before changing information on the website. That's bad business to me. How are customers to support your business if they don't know you information?. BAD BUSINESS. I couldn't be more disappointed. I have a photo that says"closes at 5". This stuff burns me up.

Ordered two breakfast sandwiches from brueggers through GrubHub. When they arrived, both sandwiches were a mish mosh of the order. Called brueggers and we were informed "we are sorry, we are busy, mistakes happen. There's nothing we can do, call GrubHub". Yeah, mistakes happen alright...like ordering from this Brueggers when you want your food right.

Every Brugger's i've been to in the capital region has the slowest employees of all time. I normally wouldn't care but oh my god they are slow... Like I mean slow... It shouldn't look like you're in slow motion while putting a piece of lettuce on a bagel or folding bacon.. its unreal honestly. Besides that though its tasty.

Yes the bagels are fresh, the sandwiches are pretty standard, ordered a ham egg and cheese with salt pepper ketchup, they use pre-cooked eggs 🤮 , and they do not cook the S/P into the sandwich. They expect you to finish preparing the 6+ dollar sandwich your self. Saff is very cold and quick to get you out the door, very unfriendly. Big seating area is STILL closed like it's late 2020 ( covid not a thing anymore ) . Recommend opening your beautiful seating area, treat us customers like family or at least be friendly. And please cook like a real Deli / Bodega , it's OK if it takes longer we will wait for perfection.

Brueggers has become a major disappointment, I've been going there since it opened more then 30 years . over the past couple of years the staff has gotten worse and worse, they barely acknowledge your presence. most of the time the bagels are cooked by inexperienced staff and tastes like sh##. Another thing is there pricing is very high especially with drinks.

Although their bagels are great, definitely disappointed in Brueggers at last visit. We waited forever because there was only one person making sandwiches and checking people out. Staff were in back but didn't help. They had no soup available... Which is why we went, and it's very pricey for a sandwich and drink for lunch.

I've been going here for years, and while the shop has changed over the years, my visit today was the worst ever. Doors to enter were filthy with handprints. Inside there were only booths, no tables (but a big empty space in the middle of the restaurant), and most were dirty. Cashier was not especially welcoming. Our order was incorrect (ordered Leonardo w/ sesame bagle and a plain bagel w/cream cheese, but they swapped the bagels) but we waited so long for the order, we didn't want to bother asking for a correction. Will think twice before ever coming back!

How can you go wrong serving bagels? Bruegger's Bagels on Wolff Rd. Knows how! Just serve them almost raw and ring up in the early morning with a army sergeant's unfriendliness. And we're talking no other customers in sight!

Customer service here is seriously lacking, so sorry to bother you while your at work... big guy behind the counter was the only one working, the older lady running the cash register needs to put a smile on that face step up and help out, the other young girl just stands around looking confused. I watched as a lady was seemingly berated over what kind of blue berry bagel she wanted. I almost walked out but I was hungry. Food was good just need some new faces representing the company. Customer service and a smile is unfortunately a lost art. Almost forgot to add the older lady was on her phone while there’s a line of maybe 5 people. She lays it on the register and reads and responds to text messages while you try to pay. Unreal

Total disappointment! The place is filthy! The service leaves much to be desired. The sandwiches we tasted were atrocious. We would've been better off just by ordering plane bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon... The prices are prohibitively high.

Place has gone downhill, I ordered through grubhub because I can’t leave work. But the bagel shop not only forgot my coffee and juice but then said I never ordered that 🤦‍♀️ even when everything is on grubhub lol I don’t even have any napkins or silverware 🍴 This place sucks. ALWAYS a LONG WAIT TIMES to order food, have the food prepared, and cash out. Maybe there aren’t enough people working? I only usually see 2 people cooking the bagels, taking orders, and cashing out people. I’d suggest one more person to reduce wait times and financial loss/turnover because no one wants to wait 10+ mins for a breakfast food item while risk being late to their destination. In comparing this location to the one at 1770 Central Ave, just past shoprite, the wait times on Wolf Rd are off the record! I can oder a breakfast sandwich and coffee at the Central Ave local and be in and out in less than 5 mins with no line. With a line of 3 or more people around 8 mins, in and out of the store!!

I will not go to this location again. As other have said, service is a joke. I go at off peak times, so never a line and usually the only customer, they always have ample staff (3-5) and yet I still wait what I would consider excessive even for a busy time. I will give others in this area my business or visit other bruegger locations.

Food was disgusting and cold after made for the 2nd time, first time it was switched with ham and Swiss which is a serious health risk to those whom don't consume pork. Qas barely addressed when I needed a new sandwich and again they were disgusting, barely toasted, no butter, and no taste.

This place is a dump. Dirty windows, carpet, ceiling tiles are all stained, the list goes on. I see the owner defending their “transition” to a take out only service. You didn’t transition anything, you lazily pushed all the tables against a wall. At least take them out and re-do the carpeting and tiles. You can tell this place has lazy ownership/management and it trickles down to the service and quality and speed at which you get your food. If this location was on the show Undercover Boss, you’d be roasted by the CEO of Bruegger’s Bagels.Take some pride in being one of the few Bruegger’s in the area and get it together.

Ordered a bagel asked for scoop and a half. Girl with nose ring gave me less than a scoop. I was polite. Don’t know why she felt she had to rip me off? Didn’t even ask for it to be toasted. Just a bagel with a scoop and half of cream cheese. Most simplest thing you could possibly ask for and I got shafted. Lol

Haven’t been to this location in a very long time and now I remember why. Even tho this store is a less than mile away from me, I go to the one on central. The smell and dirt in this place was awful. The mangers were screaming at each other in front of customers. There was dirty utensils everywhere. The cream cheese had crumbs all in it. I did get a bagel against my better judgement, now I am home and sick. Beware.

I stayed off of Wolfe Rd in Albany, NY and was excited about getting some Brueggers bagels! I used to live down the road from a Brueggers and it was one of my favorite places for breakfast. I was greatly disappointed with the experience. It took almost 25 minutes to get a breakfast sandwich and a cream cheese bagel (and there was a very short line). The staff was arguing and SWEARING at each other the whole time. One of the employees was talking about quitting the whole time I was in the restaurant. I received a bacon egg and cheese, without the egg and had to get it fixed. The food prep area was littered with food and the trays that they heat food up on were completely covered in burnt cheese and other misc. food. A large majority of the bagel baskets were empty and one of the employees was complaining that they had one person willing to bake and that person was leaving at 11:00 AM. The coffee area (where you add cream and milk) was filthy. The cream and milk were empty and there was a buildup of crusty looking milk drips on the side of the cream container. Overall… the service was poor, the place was a mess, and it was not a pleasant experience. The bagel sandwiches that I did receive were sloppy, but they did taste ok. I unfortunately cannot recommend this location. It has potential… it just needs to make major improvements to reach the Brueggers standards.

Not from the area. I don’t eat in my cars. Went here with my son. Spent 20$. Wento sit down and dining room was closed. Told my son it was ok to just stand up and eat. They told me to leave. I said I’m finishing my sandwich. It gets real at this point. They come over and tell me to leave. I say call the cops I’m not hurting anyone. Then Steven blocks door so I can’t leave. At that point I felt threatened. Tried to leave and half the staff came at me yelling. They followed me to my car! My son is 13! Unacceptable! I purchased food and can’t even eat it standing up? Stay away! Update. Never contacted by anyone. Reply’s are bot originated. Save ur money!

The store's cleaniness was absolutely horrible. It looks like the counter where the food prep hasn't been cleaned in weeks. Not all the food was out ready for prep like the Mayo or green peppers. The associate making my bagel sandwich didn't clean the knife before cutting my or my husband's bagels so there was cream cheese all over the bagel when we don't like cream cheese. There wasn't an adult in sight who looked to be in charge. I had to repeat my order threw times and correct the child making my sandwich twice. The bathroom had paper all over the floor. We will not be returning here ever again.

Ordered Leonardo de Veggie bagel and onions are moldy. Small specs of mold and as I called the restaurant, the manager told me she was looking at them and didn’t see anything. I called and explained their small specs of mold on onions just to let them know, but she sounded like she could care less. DISGUSTING! Never eating here again and I recommend who ever orders here to immediately stop!!!! Will be contacting department of health.

Toasted my bagels with cream cheese. I did not want my bagels toasted. They did not ask, cashier to took it upon herself to assume that's what I wanted. I shouldn't have to preemptively tell them "not toasted" when I order. If I wanted toasted bagels, I would've explicitly asked for it. I hate toasted bagels, it ruins the cream cheese and they always put less on because it's makes a mess. So what little cream cheese I do get is shot out of the sides of the bagels. It's very unpleasant and messy. I should've known something was off when the cashier didn't offer me a receipt. I did not discover this until after returning to work and I ate them reluctantly and pissed off. You made me feel like a fool for tipping a dollar. Thank you for making a shitty day worse. I want my $10.05 back.

Picked up my order and inside was somebody else's food. Called and explained they said I could come back and get my order. I come back and go home for the 2nd time and they made my food wrong. I have 2 pounds of cream cheese on my egg sandwich for some reason.

2 for 2 fails at this location. I ordered 2 sandwiches and was charged appropriately for the extra meat and egg. Ham, egg, swiss. I waited for number on receipt to be called, never happened. After 5 people who came in after me picked up their orders, I went to cashier to inquire about my order. The maker said he already made them and they were picked up. Not by me, they were not. Then total confusion. Had to repeat what each sandwich was to have on it, and then again while they were actually making them. Seriously. Then one maker questioned the extra meat. I was charged extra for the extra meat, right on the receipt she was holding. I made a suggestion that they use the receipt number to announce the order completion and they said they do not do that, they call out the sandwich. Well, obviously more than one customer can order ham and swiss which is how they called it out. They did make my order to perfection after much delay.

Received a survey and got 2 free bagels. Went to Wolf Road store and asked to have my free bagels toasted and with butter and jelly. Was told that my request was not in their business plan due to labor costs and when I asked if I could pay extra I was told no they don't do that. Well I now know where I will not be shopping for bagels moving forward. Have it their way or they won't serve you even when you are willing to pay the difference. Never again.

This place was filthy. Napkins tossed everywhere, tables covered in crumbs and food debris on top of the seats, all over the floors, and windowsills. Fingerprints all over the glass windows, the bathroom was atrocious and obviously had not been cleaned in weeks. The sink alone was filthy (gray film in the basin 🤮). Bagel alone was good. I ordered the avocado bacon and sun dried tomato egg white sandwich. The “sun dried tomato” spread tasted like pizza sauce. The avocado was unnaturally bright green. My daughter complained that her plain cream cheese (in her bagel) tasted weird. Will never return and would not recommend to anyone. I can’t believe the Dept of Health hasn’t cited this location. Husband enjoyed his breakfast sandwich with no complaint. Service was fast.

Just had a very bad experience with management and workers. Manager set the tone for a terrible visit. Cold coffee, empty half and half and told It was my fault.Finally I just left with my bagel and no coffee. Paid 7.00 for a buttered toasted bagel and cold coffee which I left with them. All the while the manager was rude and I never heard Amy apologies. How can I get my money back?

Do NOT order food from this location. I spent over $40 on DoorDash. Upon receiving “my” order I was missing an entire sandwich. Called the shop and was treated probably in a similar manner to how the girl on the phone treats everyone. Rude and disrespectful. Upon further investigation, my ENTIRE order was wrong. In exchange for the $40 I spent. I got a nasty cream cheese covered bagel and something else I’d have never ordered only valued at 1/4 of what I paid. So, now I’m leaving for work, still hungry, and was spoken to like a toddler…the entire time I was correct. Awesome. Do better. And I hope the two people who blamed me, the only one of us that can read, have the day they deserve.

I cannot believe how unfriendly and slow these employees are. Workers are extremely rude, woman with nose ring talking loudly about issues and snapping at people including workers and customers. Took 2 minutes to get food that was made wrong and burnt after ordering and clarifying at least 3 times. Somehow took 8 minutes to pay for it. A very painful experience especially with at least 7 people working. They serious need help in every way.
