Stopped in in a busy Sunday. Everything was delicious as usual but our server Bailee was the best part, exceptionally attentive and cheerful even amidst the busy dining room. Kudos to the Delmonico Team for pumping dinners out of kitchen not only in house but take out, quickly and deliciously.

Wife had the filet marsala, I had frutti de mare. Fantastic! Every was great. Prices are reasonable and in true Italian fashion portions are generous!

Another note on staff, I once commented that a drink looked tasty as a waitress (not ours) passed by. She came over after serving it and asked if I wanted one. I don't normally drink and I don't like drinks that are too sweet. But the red colored drink had caught my eye. She asked me to describe the flavors.I liked and brought me over a custom cocktail that was fantastic!!! Just shows how great the staff is - she wasn't even our waitress. It's not required but I highly recommend that you go ahead and make a reservation unless you go early at opening or at off hours time.

Delmonico’s Steakhouse was a great place for dinner after a long day. When I first walked in, the pure environment already made me want to give this place 5 stars. They have a great, consistent aesthetic all around, which I truly appreciate. Our waitress came right away, and she was so helpful and accommodating to us. She checked in frequently, which was surprising giving the pure number of people there. And the food, oh the food. How do I go about describing it? It is a culinary masterpiece, everything from the bread to the meatballs kept me wanting more.

Packed! Otherwise I was with a group of 12 and the waitresses crushed it. One of the best dirty martinis I’ve had… Delmonico steak was cooked too literal perfect when I asked for medium rare plus… everyone I was with loved the food and drinks.

First time at this location while visiting the area. Came on a Wednesday around 5pm to find a packed parking lot and full bar. Didn’t realize how popular this place must be with locals. Once I grabbed a seat at the bar the bartenders were very friendly and promptly served a cold draft beer. Was glad to see how many menu options there were with both steaks and pasta. Pricing for all the food, particularly the bar happy hour, was very reasonable. The Bruschetta appetizer and house salad was delicious with a perfect amount of balsamic glaze on the bruschetta as well. The NY strip steak was cooked just right (med-rare) and the sautéed shrimps were particularly flavorful (wish there were more than 3). I look forward to coming back someday to try the giant burgers and lasagna, both looked great being served at other tables. Highly Recommend! 🥩 🥗 🍤 🍺

I have never been to the area and took a date here for a late lunch. We both had the steak filet with a side of pasta. The steak was cooked exactly how we wanted, and lightly seasoned. The pasta and sauce was also prepared and cooked exactly how we wanted. The environment was welcoming and if visited later at night could be very romantic with the bar area and lighting.

I brought in a deck of cards to play with while we waited for our food. A man standing in the corner, came over and asked if he could do some card tricks for us with my deck of cards. He was a magician that works at Delmonicos! I’ve been to this restaurant countless times, and I never knew there was a magician that worked there. He was fantastic and made the experience exceptional that night. The food was also delicious as always, and the service was good as well.

I recently held a baby shower at this restaurant. The staff and manager were wonderful to work with; they were very flexible with changing circumstances. The food was delicious; service was excellent. They even took the time to help disengage the balloons strings that got clumped together in the car ride. Frank Sinatra room was just perfect for the number of people who attended. I highly recommend this restaurant. Everything was outstanding! Thank you!

We randomly picked this restaurant to eat. I thought it's going to be typical American steak house, but I was wrong. The restaurant was awesome, decoration was crazily fun and exciting. Ordered frutti di mare, which was great dish. It has fresh seafood, cooked tomato and well cooked linguine. I added some cheese with the sauce, it was like heaven! Steak was well seasoned, not boring for your palate, meat was juicy and tender. Waitress was very friendly and nice too. At last, homemade cannoli was fresh and fun to eat. The only thing I was disappointed was hostess wasn't really pleasant.

Yum!! I usually pick Italian restaurants as my last choice when going out to eat based on personal preference. But for my birthday I was really in the mood for a quality steak so my husband and I went here. We arrived around 6 on a Friday and only had wait about 10 minutes for a table. The place is like a well oiled machine. So busy but they have it down. You can see wait staff, managers, bus boys and front end staff bustling around and getting it done! The place is clean, bathrooms are nice and ambiance is just what I’d want in a higher end Italian steakhouse. We shared the kicker up calamari. At first tastes a little like sweet and sour sauce but when you get a bite of the peppers... whoa! Spicy and so tasty. We eat had a couple drinks. My husband ordered the veal parmigiana and the veal was the size of the plate! He was very pleased. I had the 16 oz NY Strip with penne and a side of garlic mashed potatoes and yum! It was a perfect medium rare and the outside was nice and crispy seared. The wait staff sang and brought me a cannoli for my birthday. I believe they do that for celebrations in general like birthdays, anniversaries and pretty much anything you tell them you’re celebrating. Our waitress was lovely and visited us just enough. She anticipated our needs before we knew we had them. Would highly recommend for your occasional celebrations and special nights!

I had the portobello steak. The sauce is just right, and the steak is really tender. The atmosphere was great, and my server was excellent. Very accommodating. The group had the best steak in town. Would recommend getting the best deal in town if you are feeling carnivorous.

My linguine in white clam sauce was fantastic. They gave him a cannoli on the house and I had the amaretto cheesecake was very tasty. Highly recommend.

We drove to three different places trying to find somewhere to eat after being so hangry from not eating all day, and we finally ended up at Delmonico’s Steakhouse — and honestly, it was completely worth the wait! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and classy without feeling pretentious. The place was busy but still comfortable, and we were greeted right away with a smile. Our server, Jordan, was absolutely exceptional. You can tell he takes pride in what he does — super attentive without hovering, genuinely friendly, and made great recommendations. He checked in at all the right times and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to get that kind of service nowadays, and it really stood out. As for the food — 5 stars all around! You can tell the kitchen staff really knows what they’re doing. After such a long day and striking out at multiple places, this dinner completely turned things around for us. We went for our son's 21 birthday ( 01/31/26) . I have nothing but great things to say . Our server Erin was attentive , professional and kind . The " Happy Birthday cannoli " was awesome with the staff wishing my son happy birthday. 12 of us in a party room and we were treated like royalty. Several were there before and ordered their favorites. Including a big hamburger (Lol). I was there for the first time and ordered angel hair pasta (of the four choices) with 2 big, awesome (spicy) tasting Italian sausages. Everyone took home leftovers and had happy faces!

Went with wife for a 70th birthday party for father in law with 40 people but they were very accommodating and handled the group well. Food was great and so was the staff. It was a nice time.

What a find in Albany, NY. So happy I got to try this spot out. First off, the interior was very unique and unlike most Italian restaurants. It just felt authentic and overall original. The garlic bread was completely different than any other bread I have eaten at an Italian restaurant and the garlic butter made a huge difference as well. The food here was just GREAT! It felt like it was the recipe of someone’s grandmother and they continued the tradition into their restaurant. I honestly wish I could have eaten more of the food here and tried other things. But it was extremely satisfying. Can’t think of one negative about this place. If you are visiting the area, definitely check this place out if you are looking for a REAL Italian meal.

This was my 3rd time going to Delmonico's. The service is always wonderful and definitely one of the top steakhouse restaurants in the capital region area.

A busy Saturday night but they turn over tables pretty well. We had the Cheesy Garlic Bread with dipping sauce. It was ok. Could have used more cheese. 3 entrees, Ravioli w/Vodka sauce, Fettuccine with Alfredo and sausage and Lasagna. All large portions and tastee. Good food avg to high prices but the portions are large.

Place is good, well located and food was good. Portion were okay but no large. Ordered the Delmonico's steak that is very juicy and tasty but it has a lot of fat, a lot, that is what gives that flavoring. It is good if you like it like that. They have more lean cuts too. Tiramisu for the sweet tooth.

This Is a great restaurant with good food as long as you can get through on the phone and not get disconnected when they transfer you multiple times or when you ask the young girl a question on the line and get disconnected over and over. If They can improve the logistical side of the business like their restaurant in Clifton Park this is a five star place to eat

We heard good things. All expectations were but not exceeded in any meaningful way. There was a mix of older couples and a few likely hipsters who were ironically enjoying the cartoonish illustrations of Rocky Balboa and the Rat Pack on the walls. New England clam chowder, wedge salad and sliced sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled onions were all fine. The mashed were a bit dry but that worked with the Au jus and some of the leftover butter from the bread. I can see from reviews elsewhere for this and other locations how things can get sideways and easily go off the rails. Food service aspiring to fine dining adjacent requires a laborious concentration of effort and focus with each actor playing their part because they know their roles. The staff seemed cohesive and coordinated which is refreshing as many establishments seem to have lost this key element of the pursuit for culinary excellence.

Delmonico's Italian Steakhouse is a very classic feeling steakhouse that leans heavily into Italian American culture and décor, with a variety of unique caricatures sprawling across the walls, and several themed seating areas based on notable Italian American celebrities. The menu is largely a la carte, but the prices are well within expectation for the scale of this steakhouse and very reasonable for the quality of the food. The complimentary bread and seemingly house made, whipped butter we extremely good, with the butter exceeding expectation for what appears to be a rather standard starter. Of the choice of sides, I opted for the Roma tomato & mozzarella salad, the hot peppers, mushrooms & onions, and the steamed asparagus. The presentation of the salad was quite appealing, laid out in an attractive spiral and drizzled with a delightful balsamic vinaigrette. The tangy dressing accompanied with the moist mozzarella was excellent, though the tomatoes were somewhat underripe. The hot peppers, mushrooms & onions were also good overall, though nothing notable, with the peppers in particular being slightly underdone by comparison, standing out in a way that was slightly jarring though still palatable. The asparagus was similarly well prepared, with parmigiana cheese and the same balsamic drizzle as the salad. All of the sides themselves were and excellent contrast to the rich fillet mignon, which I ordered medium-rare, and that was exactly what I received, well seasoned and with a nice sear. The meat was high quality and cooked to an ideal level. For dessert, I opted for the tiramisu; while the flavor profile was satisfactory, the consistency of the pastries was far soggier than that of a tiramisu made with high-quality, fresh ladyfingers. Still good, but lacking the qualities to be a truly stand-out dish. Coupling all of this with the excellent service made for a delightful experience. We were a small, admittedly rambunctious party who came from well out of town specifically for Delmonico's (a favorite of one of our party members), and our server managed and treated us extremely well. Overall, I would certainly recommend Delmonico's for an above average, fine dining excursion.

The appetizers were, of course, the fried mozzarella, cheesy bread , and my godmother got a New England clam chowder. Entries were .. Son - the pork chop  substituted the regular side for the fettuccine Alfredo. God mother-  shrimp scampi Nat- Ny strip ( don’t laugh at the doneness) 😭with the regular side substituted for Alfredo. My son tore his pork chop up!!! Y’all when I’m telling you he ate it down to the bone. He didn’t care  for the Alfredo though. My steak was delicious yes I was able to chew through it and didn’t shake the table cutting it😭but, unlike my son I enjoyed the Alfredo I thought it was very tasty. My godmother however did not like her meal and Did not touch it at all. She said the pasta was too hard. And wanted to bring it home to cook more. The manager took off the price of one  of the appetizers for this. Which was kind. Over all everything was pretty good. Not pictured is the free  birthday cannoli. As I devoured it as soon as they came to the table and forgot to take the picture. But it was delicious also.

Came here for a friends birthday dinner. I've never been and wasn't sure what to expect. The chandeliers were nice but the wooden characters on the wall and the waitresses dressed in stockings some with fedoras seemed a bit gimmicky. I ordered the mozzarella frittas which seemed like they were cooked in old oil. See photo. I ordered the chicken Marsala and the sauce was very bland along with the garlic buttered angel hair. Maybe I should have tried the steak. I paid $50 for my items and left more to be desired.

The place was nice, and service was decent, but was very disappointed with the food. I ordered the Delmonico Steak which is their main gig, and was not nearly what i was expecting. Quality of meat was poor, and the potato was on the cold side. I also ordered soup. I found out the soup had pork, but they didn't mention that on the menu. It was an experience!!! I can say been there, done that, but will not do it again.

My filet mignon was delicious, cooked exactly how I like it.however, my husband got the delmonico steak and it was very much overcooked. Very disappointed considering the price of the steak. We've been here many times and for the most part they are very consistent at this location.

Reservation for 6:30 on a Saturday evening. arrived a few minutes early, was told the Reservation "cuts your wait time in half" vs walk in... ended up standing around the crowded bar until 7:20 when we got a text our table was ready. Food was better than average, service was average, cocktails were average, price was higher than average. Could have been a much better experience if they respected the Reservation.

The food was great steak cooked perfectly. But know your reservation isn’t real. It’s priority seating so you still wait at least 30 minutes from your reserved time to sit. But the staff won’t tell you that until you’ve already waited 30 minutes

Long delays to get seated and poor service. On-line reservation only guarantees you are higher in the wait queue. Took us 35 minutes after confirmed reservation time to get seated. Waitress stopped by once every 15-20 minutes to check on us.

Have been here before. Very dissatisfied in the service. Told the waitress it was my bday and ignored. Several tables around us had bday celebrations and desserts. Mine was not acknowledged. My baked potato was burned - inedible - and my bfs veal was also burned. Will not return after this experience.

Made a pickup order. I had order the side of shrimp scampi. They literally gave 3 shrimp and charged me $10.99. I thought it was just a mistake. So I call and I'm told that's just the way it is. 10.99 for 3 shrimp. Ripping people has become so normalized not getting value for money should be expected I guess. Never going back.

I usually love this location but I was pretty disappointed when I I opened my salad and it was bone dry! Not a speck of balsamic dressing in sight. Honestly ruined the whole meal 😡🥲 but hopefully they can fix it next time

they make reservations and then when you get there they have you still wait 45 min just to be seated. why allow reservations if you can't honor them. worst customer service ever

Disaster take out order. Ordered 4 steaks, all were under cooked, one raw. And forgot part of my order. $240 wasted.

I am a repeat customer but unfortunately my most recent meal had an unpleasant taste and there was a hair in my potatoes. Because they were closing soon, I asked to get a refund and was sent to a rude & condescending manager who scoffed at me when I relayed to him my experience with my distasteful meal. I don't usually leave reviews because I know mistakes happen, but after just spending hundreds of dollars for Christmas gift cards last month and being a frequent customer, I felt very disrespected. Hopefully if I ever return, I'll have a much more pleasant experience.
