Had a family gathering with about 25 people. LOVED the food (pizza, wings, salad and ziti 👍). The place was clean and the service friendly and exceptional! Can’t wait to go back again for another great meal!

The waiter was fantastic...wish I could remember his name but he was amazing!! Food was good nothing to complain about. We meet with family members we hadn't seen in several years and didnt feel rushed at all. It was really great atmosphere, also. We will definitely be back.

They had a great opening day. The food was outstanding just like the original location. The pizza that I ordered was cooked to perfection. I can't wait to go back. That part of town was missing something and the OTW has filled the void. Great food quality, great service. I wish Kris and his team much success.

Door dash left a part of the order and Kris the owner personally delivered that part of the order and would not take a tip no matter how hard we tried. We didn’t want to get refunded by door dash and just wanted the item so this was huge as he got to us 5 mins after we called the restaurant. Pizza is better than most pizzerias around and the service is exceptional.

We came to the Orchard to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We got the party wings, and they were excellent! The pizzas we ordered were delicious as well. Our server, Yuri, was very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend the Orchard Tavern!

Food was awesome we got three different pizzas and three types of wings all were very good and perfectly cooked. Everyone was super happy with their meal.

Now i like my wings… I liked buffalo wings… but the wings here in the Carolina gold are absolutely amazing. My wife who doesn’t care for wings absolutely loved them. The service was great and the owner was amazing. He came and talked with us and learned about our story. He was a great host and great man. Great service good atmosphere. Pizza was good but the wings… just a game changer. Going back for the cheese cake and key lime pie.

Ordered a meat lovers pizza last week and it was really tasty! Hoping it wasn't a one-off, I ordered again tonight. It was absolutely delicious! The ingredients tasted fresh and the dough had just the right amount of crisp. Might be a bit on the smaller size for the price, but it was the perfect amount of food and the flavors were good. My new go-to for a pizza craving.

Liked their Vegetarian pizza, it's different from typical thin crust. We also had one half of pizza remove the toppings my wife doesn't like. Works best for us! 🙂

There was a story of a time where my card did not work (even at any ATMs) and there was a bartender at the time who was very understanding. He gave me my meal completely for free and said to come back whenever I had the money. I did later on that day and he was the kindest soul about it. I did not realize that bartender was the owner of that location: Kris. He has to be one of the most passionate and caring persons that I have ever met in food service, and I do not say that lightly. This isn't even mentioning how the food is always so good. So far, I have had nachos, wings, and a burger with fries. All of them deserve a 10/10. If you're looking for good people, good food, and a good time, go to Orchard Tavern West. That place has more than just my business: they have a friend out of me!

What a lovely family restaurant! Our group of 6 adults got different meals and everything was delicious. The children loved the chicken tenders and fries. The waitress, Carly was so kind and patient. Chicken wings are fabulous, big and meaty! We will definitely be coming back!

This place completely blew me away. I’ve never been to a place where I felt important but still could tell that’s how everyone feels walking in there. From the time you’re sat and told your servers name to the timely delivery of drinks and apps. It’s an unrivaled experience. After all the hospitality I couldn’t believe how amazing every bit of food I ordered was. Best WINGS EVER: they are somehow tender yet crispy with an almost glazed crunch (Try the orchard gold and mild wings). I’ve never had better wings.Anywhere. Best Mozz Sticks ever with the strettttch and a true nice thin Melba sauce, none of that thick jelly business. Clam strips crisp delicious and tender. And French onion soup with depth and warmth perfectly broiled cheese and crostini. Highly recommend.

The food was great. The service was wonderful. Our waitress, Carla, did not stop bringing our food and drinks out. She was very attentive and noone had to wait for anything. We had a fantastic Birthday celebration for my husband and they made it a positive experience. We would definitely go there again.

The pizza was delicious! The staff was super nice and friendly! I loved it here! First time here for me, and they treated us like family. My mother was a long time customer of the old Albany location, the pizza still tastes the same as before.

First, the food is always great, some of the best pizza I have ever had. The owner, Chris, is an all-around great person that has been exceptionally generous to my family and me. I have never been disappointed and will continue to give him my business.

Our waitress was an absolute professional. She stayed right on top of everything even our special orders. Noticed that we had teacher ID's on the table and notified us of their 10% discount for educators (as well as first responders and military.) Such a bonus on top of the delicious food and fabulous service. Even timed our to-go portion to arrive just as we were ready to leave. I'll miss the Albany original, but this is a fabulous substitute.

The pizza and garlic Parmesan wings are a must have!!! I ABSOLUTELY love their fried clams as well! Perfect place to get together with family. The staff are so kind and the owner and his wife come to the table to talk with you and ask you how your food is. You can tell they genuinely care about everyone that walks in the door! Highly recommend!!!

We had a party last Sunday with about 30 people. Everything went as expected and everyone was happy. There were a couple of issues but we're taken care of Immediately by Chris the owner. I would reccomend this place for an any occasion party. Prices were very reasonable. Make sure you plan your event with the owner and you can't go wrong. Great local spot. We will return.

Delicious food, friendly service, and family-friendly atmosphere! We would highly recommend the birthday wings, particularly the new flavor, bourbon barbecue. The cobb salad was also delectable! Gluten-free options include various salads and gluten-free pizza crust. If you're in the area and looking for a tasty family meal, this is the spot for you!

The two nights I was there it was busy but not noisy, the food was good, the service excellent and we were not rushed. It was the perfect place to meet up with an old friend.

We had a celebration after my daughter’s baptism and everything was great! The party room was the perfect space, separated from the restaurant. I went into this place last night to celebrate my birthday and get the wings special, but was told that the place was too full to honor my reservation for 7pm. The owner came out and personally assured me I can come back another night and he will honor the birthday wings special. He apologized multiple times for being too busy to have my party seated and then gave me a credit to go have my dinner out on him!!! The owner went above and beyond, even out of his way to fix an issue that was beyond his control of the place being too busy. Very impressive to me! I have eaten here many of times before and the service, food and atmosphere is great. The owner is always walking around and asking people how the food and service was too. Highly recommend this place and kudos to the owner for going well above expectations to fix an issue!!! 😁

We went to OTW to celebrate a big 60 Birthday. We had a great time and the food and drinks were great! They have a great birthday special with wings ( we couldn’t eat 60) and drinks. Donna our server and Chris(with a K) made it a real fun time. Cant wait to go back!

It’s clear he knows how to create not just a place to eat and drink, but a community hub. And these types of community hubs are just what we need today! The food and drinks were really good too! This was a well rounded experience. Everything was top notch. We got burgers, pizza, French onion soup and desserts. The food was so good I only got a picture of the soup. Our waitress Lisa was great and check on us often. We have 5 in our party and no one was disappointed. I even want to the bar to say hi to a friend and the bartender offered to go get my drink from my table for me. Clean restaurant, fast and very friendly service, Would highly recommend

The pizza, pleasantly, still has the same shape and quality as from the original location in Albany. The " icing on the cake" was the interaction with the owner at the door as we were leaving. My family goes back 65+ years with the Orchard Pizza. My family got together today for the first time in 2 years. The owner was an excellent host and it all went great. A nice corner table, nice simple, but tasty and fresh salad, and all those Orchard pizzas reminded us how they tasted as kids back in the 1950s. I was apprehensive because we were a pretty rowdy family but it all worked out so well. I would highly recommend this place and will be back with my granddaughters to have the same experience.

We tried this location because we were told they have "the same birthday wing special as rusty nail"- my wife tried calling 20+ times over a 2 day span to get details but the phone number listed just goes to voicemail. Unfortunately the website doesn't lay out the details as clearly as the former option. We decided to go give it a try anyway and I posted the actual rules- hopefully it saves someone else the headache of trying to figure it out. Among the rules you must purchase a full price entree with the wings, while the food was good I was very suprised at the price vs size of their pizzas for $16-20, we were expecting an traditional 8 slice pizza, this was more of a personal size which we planned to take home anyway as we had gone specifically for birthday wings. We did not order drinks as the bar menu is very limited, with only a handful of generic choices, no craft beers, no hard ciders etc. In this area the RN def takes the win! If strictly comparing the birthday wing deal that we went for: I would say the wings themselves are better at OTW but the promotion is a bit more complex to figure out and RN takes the win for promotional value and general food prices/selection.

I visited this restaurant in March 2021. This is a nice, small little restaurant/bar. The waitress was really friendly and made sure all our need were meet. They sell 1911 cider here which is similar to Angry Orchards. They no longer sell Nine Pin. We ordered 10 bone-in wings with orchard gold sauce which reminded me of moonshine sauce. The wings cost $12.99 They were really good. We had loaded fries with cheese, bacon and jalapeños. And a pepperoni pizza which i think was around $9.99 and its a personal size pizza, maybe two people can eat off it but it not a whole pie. Good place to go for a quick bite! They also serve "birthday wings". You have to go on YOUR birthday and they give you the amount of wings of the age that you are turning. So if your 30, you get 30 wings! Definitely will go back!

Been to OTW several times and ordered take out several more. Atmosphere is great and I've never been disappointed by the food. On one occasion our takeout order was not correct- ordered a white pizza but got a regular one. We still ate it, but was disappointing. Other than that- no issues at all and have always been happy.

Amazing service very friendly staff. The food was good but pricey for the portions you get also one of the chicken wings still had multiple feathers in it. Overall not a bad place but just not for me.

I miss the old Albany location. I'm glad to see the name continue but it's nowhere the same. This is your basic restaurant with a basic menu. Their personal size pizza lives on. Very pricey for the size.

Went here for my girlfriend's birthday. Had the wings and a pizza. The service was very good. She was very polite and helpful with the menu items. The atmosphere was nice, and there was plenty of room, not the feeling of being crowded. The wings were good and the pizza was as well.

This is my first time for a sit down meal in OTW. I think i have had a pizza take out once before. The Tavern opens at noon and i usually have lunch a bit earlier. I have visited the original Orchard many times through the years. When I visit an Italian restaurant, I usually get spaghetti and meat balls. I also decided to get a pizza to go. I remember the pizza as very good , as the pans were well seasoned but more like a pizza for 2. The pizza was good. When I was young there was another Tavern in albany using the same type of pans. It was called The 3 S's for 3 sister's. Just a little history. Now back to the Orchard . The spaghetti and meat balls was a good quantity of spaghetti but pricey. 4 meat balls were aligned across the top. It was really 1/2 meatballs but a neat arrangement. They were ok. The spaghetti was a bit over cooked . The sauce ok. I might have given 4 stars for food but the kitchen was overwhelmed making pizza for a party there also. The waitress did not tell me they were overwhelmed just told me was going to be a while because of making pizzas for the party. I was in no hurry nursing a beer but others might find it too long. The orchard is an ok place for italian food and maybe better for other fare. I am not making a statement for everything and it is just my feelings and others may feel different. This is more than I usually write but the original Orchard was a landmark in west albany.

Food was very good, honestly I was surprised. My friend ordered a round of whiskey sours and they were a bit off , mix was off for sure, tables all had a vinyl coating on them which had scratched off on a few of them to reveal a much nicer veneer. Staff was friendly, nothing was really wrong with our experience aside from drinks. We tried the ziti, hot sauce and buffalo wings, and a variety of flat bread pizzas, all were very good

We have always loved Orchard pizza and were looking forward to having it for lunch. When pizzas came out they were VERY crispy , and cheese not melted. When bit into it, a thick piece of unmelted cheese came off. Server said if too crispy they would make another. We opted to keep what we had, as not burnt, and he explained that they had issues earlier, that pizza wasn't cooked enough, so the cook left it in longer. Wings were delicious. Took leftover pizza home , and reheated next day. Cheese melted and tasted like the Orchard pizza we are use to. Was just a very disappointing lunch, as had been looking forward to it.

I go there a few times a year and they never disappoint. Food is good, pizza is unique and tasty. Free wings for your birthday. Atmosphere is basic but clean and the service is commendable.

I came here for "birthday wings". It works like this: 1. Order one meal (except appetizer and salad); 2. Having "birthday wings" as many as your age. A $2 dressing is mandatory for every ten wings. 3. On the check, the "birthday wings" are free, but an 18% tip will be charged based on the original price of the wings plus the meal you ordered. Since I came here by myself, a pizza plus ten wings were enough. The service was good, but the wings were kinds of dry and hard.

I was taken here for my birthday. My girlfriend was charged twice on her credit card and said the manager wasn't very nice in resolving the overcharge. The birthday wings were pretty good, just a poor end to the experience.

The birthday wings deal is a gimmick. They push that you get 'Free wings' on your birthday but then nickel and dime with hidden charges so you spend just as much as if you have gotten any other meal. Food is good and service is good, I just don't like being lied to.

The birthday wings are definitely not free. There is so much fine print on the deal that you end up paying more than if you had just ordered wings as a meal. They only bring them out a dozen at a time, okay that's fine. The wings have less meat on them than Cillian murphy, but hey they're free right? Each wing is 1 mouthful if that so it's pretty easy to polish off a dozen, maybe 2, but then you gotta power through the 2nd so you get that 3rd dozen for take home. In the end they charge you for each dressing and 2 pieces of sad celery that come per dozen and your free wings are now $30+tip. Scam.

The food was okay. Asked for our burgers to be medium, they came out well done. The bottom of the burger bun was soaked it grease for both burgers. **We had a waitress for about 2 minutes, enough time to get our drinks, and then she advised us that they had "cut" her for the night. Our new waitress was a sweetheart very nice and professional!! Overall, we paid 75 dollars for a mushroom Swiss burger and small handful of fries bacon cheese Burger small handful of fries and a grilled chicken sub, and like 5 onion rings. And 2 raspberry teas and a pepsi. We will not be going back anytime soon but may try it again at a later date.

Food is good. Atmosphere is good. Most staff is good. But the bald bartender could be replaced with a kid from make a wish and it would be 1000x better. Took ages to refill my glass, took ages to take my order and to cash me out. I was going to have more to eat and drink but he spent the entire time I was there talking sports and his highschool days with old friends. Literally the entire time I was there, about 2 hours, only checked in on everyone else when he was going to get food or get something from the back in between his conversation. If you have somewhere to be or want to have something to eat or drink don't expect to be acknowledged at the bar or served

Not all menu items available. Service was lacking in that condiments were missing from the meal and were never delivered to the table even when asked. 10 stars however for the pizza crust. Best pizza crust I’ve had in ages.

Spaghetti was cooked properly; sauce was lackluster; chicken parm was extremely crunchy (almost a tooth breaker) and the meat was inconsequential for the chew--it was overwhelmed by the crunch. Plating was somewhat attractive, could have used a bit of green. My mom's chicken wings were overcooked and dry.

The staff was very lovely and they were able to keep food times short for being busy. However, the individual was more crust than pizza and had little flavor. Was a bit bummed since I had heard so many good reviews throughout the years. Perhaps if they had a thinner crust and served larger pizzas it would be better. Not sure if I will return here.

I'm shocked honestly. I've heard this pizza is one of the best around. We just picked one up and this is it!? 10 slices are there. The pen is for size reference. And this cost $16! It's like the size of a personal pizza. It tastes like normal pizza so I'm not sure what the draw is.

Usually there are no problems and the food is great. Today we ordered a well done burger and it came medium rare. With the amount of money we spent on food we should have no problems. We also ordered cheddar cheese to go with the onion rings and we did not receive that. Unhappy with our order today.

I ordered a cheese and meatball pizza. The meatball portion was $1.80 extra. I received the pizza and I had all of about 1/4 of a meatball, shaved and sprinkled across the pizza. Pathetic! It looked like oregano sprinkled on the pizza that's how small the meatball pieces were.

If you are going to the Orchard Tavern West for its pizza, I don't recommend it at all. We loved the original Orchard pizza, it was the best around. When the new owner bought the Orchard in 2019 the pizza continued to be really good. Then the one in Guilderland opened and we went a few times and the pizza changed a bit such as different sausage being used but it was still pretty good. We haven't been there in years, we went last night and ordered pizza. It was not good at all, not even close to the original. The only thing similar was it was still cut in the small squares. We ordered 4 pizzas and none of us liked it and were very disappointed. I don't know what happened and why they stopped using the original recipe which would have been included in the sale. Regardless, the glory day's of the Orchard pizza are long gone. With that said, the atmosphere was nice and people seemed to be enjoying themselves. Just don't go for the pizza.

I went tonight for my sister birthday . for the free wings on your birthday. Never ever have I been treated like third class citizen at a restaurant. The server payed no attention to our table. The free wings when all said and done costed me $80 the 18% Tip on top of your check is why the staff there doesn’t feel like they have to work for there tips. To get 40 wing it took over 3 hours because of the service. Next year I will take my sister out to a restaurant and just pay for a nice meal at a nice restaurant.

Placed an online order. Could have dealt with the mix up (again) when picking up the pizza. But $27 for two personal size pizzas that were so burnt and hard as a rock, they went in garbage.

I try to avoid writing negative reviews about places, however, this was a pretty poor experience. We arrived by 6:15, We were behind one other couple waiting for their table. A waitress immediately went to seat them, she left to talk with other waitresses in the back looking at us, and don’t come back to us for about 10 mins. They took our drink orders, water and Pepsi and it took about 15-20 mins for the waitress to come back with it. We order, about 20-25 mins before our nachos come, the best thing about them was the chili. It wasn’t described in the menu, but they were covered in beer cheese that tasted like straight up alcohol. Another 30 mins goes by and our food comes. My fiancé got fish and chips- the fish was very tough and chewy and looked like it was fried in old oil, I got a grilled chicken sandwich and it was incredibly dry. I got orchard gold sauce on it and the sauce was delicious, I also got sweet potato fries and they were extremely bland. Twenty more minutes go by and we get our check. We finally get out and it’s 8:20. Slow service and mediocre food.

Went here at 5pm on a Sunday. There was a good crowd but didn’t seem too busy. The energy here felt weird, but maybe that was me and my dining partner. Ordered the famous French onion soup as an appetizer, a few drinks, pizza and fettuccini Alfredo. Got the drinks immediately. Did not see waitress again until 5:40pm when she came to inform me that they were out of onions and therefor no French onion soup. This was at least 30 minutes after order was placed. At this point, they were just getting to the appetizers after 30 minutes?! Left a $10 bill to cover drinks. Will not be coming here again.

Uncomfortable and tense environment Went here for dinner and even thought the food was alright the environment was terribly uncomfortable. The boss was screaming at employees and the waitresses seemed genuinely upset and the whole night was affected by this. How is anyone supposed to sit down and have a nice dinner when you are hearing swear words from the boss scolding the staff? I wouldn’t come here again even for the food which isn’t overly good. I recommend the pasta dishes but the pizza was mediocre. Won’t be coming back.

We made reservations for a birthday celebration. Arrived about 5 minutes early & had to wait another 20 minutes before we were seated. Carla was our waitress & not friendly. It took about another 10 minutes to order drinks & order birthday wings which came prior to the drinks. It took another 25 minutes if not more to order food & when the food came the pizza was under cooked & part of our order wrong which was sent back. To only come back wrong again & when started to bring to attention of Carla who then announced to the entire dining room that all we have done was complain since we arrived. This was only time we said anything which was when Carla’s attitude started. We had to pay $160 including $35 tip. We left hungry because the food was not edible. Service was poor & Carla was rude. We spoke with Tom (Manager) who listened but seemed dismissive at the same time.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY. Our server didn’t even refill our drinks until I had to seek him out, then he had attitude. We had to ask for napkins and plates. We waited 30 minutes to get an another order of wings. The waiter kept disappearing for long periods. Go to Rusty Nail, or Bentleys, or anywhere else.

First of all let me say the service was terrible. We went with another couple and requested separate checks. We ordered wings as our appetizer.and individual pizzas for our entrees. Only two of us got our drinks and the other two waited for about 15 minutes to get theirs only to have it wrong. We waited a long time before we asked our waitress where our wings were and she never put the order in saying she thought we wanted them with our dinner. So she went back to let them know to put the wings on. Then she came back and asked us for our order all over again! Next thing you know our pizzas came out before our wings. We had a 6:00 reservation and never got out of there until after 8:00. She never came back to check on us even forgetting about our requested water. When our bills arrived they were completely messed up. This was our first time going there and I would say our last.

I’m extremely disappointed! I spent $45 on food that I had to throw away after just a few bites because it didn’t taste fresh at all. They were supposed to include a salad, but it was missing. The grilled chicken on pasta tasted awful. The food used to be good in past, but not today. I won’t be going back

I have been there once I will never ever go there again, finding a thin crust pizza in New York is like finding water in dessert. It’s really overpriced, bad customer service and it's really time taking. They take more time to make pizzas than anyone else in the town.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY. Our server didn’t even refill our drinks. We had to beg for napkins. We waited 30 minutes to get an another order of wings. The waitress kept disappearing for long periods. The receptionist was rude when we told her of our disappointment in the service. Go to Rusty Nails, their wings are actually free… no strings attached unlike the orchard. I will never come here again.

Ordered food online for pickup. Arrived to the tavern and they didn’t have the order. The bartender said if I place the order it would be ready in 20 minutes. An hour later I was still waiting for a very small pizza and wings and I paid way too much for the wings and pizza. Very poor service and way over priced. They never offered me anything for the inconvenience and I ordered a mixed drink that cost over $13.00.

The owner was yelling and swearing at his employees. The photo of my yelp review is in there. All around bad experience. Go somewhere else and say no thanks to this place. They don’t take in account for dairy allergies at all even after it was explained. Paid for extra pepperoni but get only have. They bring pizza out and refuse to fix the problem. Forgot my wings and shoved all the salad dressing in one container. Found that all the cucumber was bad like slimy. Just yuk.
