Great classic banh mi and short rib pho 🤩🔥🔥🔥
Great Pho, nice staff. A perfect lunch.
Tried their shredded chiken Pho and it was just what I needed for my under the weather tummy! Seasoned beautifully and chockful of cilantro. ginger and lemongrass.....yummy!
Dropped in for some coffee, left with a short rib banh mi. Both the food and coffees were excellent and the counter people were super nice!
We needed good Vietnamese place in BK Heights! Pho was great, very tasty, good portion for a good price. Will come back!
Delicious traditional Banh mi for $11. Came out very quick and is a great option for lunch
Really excellent Spicy Pork Banh Mi combined with speedy service. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area.
Tasty pho and banh-mi, sat at small table outside due to Covid restrictions which was nice! Friendly staff, they allowed me to charge phone while we were eating. Would recommend!
Got the spicy grilled pork sandwich, highly recommend. Great food, fast service, friendly, great customer service.
Really nice family owned shop. They care for your needs with good food and good service. The fresh lemonade is made to order, yum!!
Food is great and staff is always very nice. Can’t complain. Prices are comparable to other’s in the area
Very nice food!
Customer service was great! Food was delicious and fresh! Definitely coming tomorrow!!! Great food stop after visiting the ny transit museum!!!
Not the best bahn mi I’ve ever had but a solid lunch spot. Staff is always very nice.
It’s what a Banhmi should be. Great bread, tender Chicken, fantastic pickled carrot, and the spicy is spicy.
Great banh mi, great service! Small place so can get crowded
Great place. I liked the food a lot. Staff is very friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend it.
Best banh mi I’ve ever had! Had it three times in one week!! Highly recommend.
excellent short rib sandwich, took no time to prepare. Owner very accommodating & nice.Thank you ! e.t.
Great place to eat. Decisions food. Tried a few different options. Liked all of them
Clean and tidy spot. Food was good and I now know where to go for lunch when I’m in the area
Sliced beef pho and the duck breast summer rolls were delicious.
Their Bahn Mi’s are phenomenal. Short rib. God. Just get it. GET IT NOW
Bahn mi is great, best I’ve had. Will have to try the pho soon
When searching for a great banh mi, the bread can make or break the sandwich. This banh mi hits all the check marks- the perfect crunch bread, soft inside, meat seasoned well and pickled carrots and daikon to seal the deal! Great job guys!
Got the traditional and an iced vietnamese coffee. The bread was on point and had that nice crisp once you bit into it. The ground pork was flavorful, but not overly sugary. Prices are a little pricey, but justified I guess since you are renting on Court St. The Pho looks tempting and I will definitely try it out next time.
Never had a banh mi before. Really loved the flavor profile. I got a spicy traditional, everything complemented each other nicely. Will definitely be back here again.
The ribeye pho blew me away! It was fresh, delicious and tender. The service provided was kind and efficient. I look forward to taking out once again :)
Oh my my. I ordered bánhmì, the traditional. It was fantastic. The staff was all super friendly and the place is quite clean. Prices are reasonable. ( ... Brooklyn BaNHMiGOS, corner: Schermerhorn + Court Street )
Extremely good value! Service was incredibly fast and the Bahn Mi was great. The bread especially was a standout. Pho was also amazing too!
Best quick bite on the block nomnomnomnomnom. You can go to Popeyes or Dunkin, or get a mediocre pizza slice half a block down, but this place is soooooo good. I think the salad isn’t as filling as I hoped, I wish there was a bigger size. The veggie chicken is like flavored tofu I think, but very yummy despite how it looks. Fish sauce in everything so BEWARE if that’s not your thing.
Got the traditional BahnMi.. the best Banhmin I've ever had.. juicy, spicy(you can choose spiciness level) and fresh.. the bread is perfectly crispy and soft. I will be back!
Had the traditional banhmi, spicy, and it was excellent. The bread was the exact right combination of crunchy/chewy/airy and the pork was perfectly spiced.
Best service, Sunday cashier deserves a raise. Very fast, kind and helpful. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Hands down the best banhmi and pho in the neighborhood...no joke! I ordered the transitional (ground pork) banhmi and Thai tea, it’s consistently delicious every time I come here. It’s better than the other Vietnamese place (Hanco’s). If you haven’t been to Banhmigos yet - GO!! They offer FREE WiFi. I love this place, the people and the food. Couldn’t ask for better!
Best, freshest, tastiest banhmi anywhere. Absolutely addictive! The bread and ingredients are so fresh. The flavor is amazing. I LOVE this place and you will too. Service is fast and friendly.
Their Banh Mi is amazing. The baguette is warm and not too hard. Many other restaurants just use cold baguette so this store is def better.
Short rib Bahn Mi and Beef slice Pho were both great! Good crisp to the bahn mi bread and really flavourful broth - would recommend!
this place is amazing!! i tried the traditional bahn mi and taro bubble tea, and both were delicious :) the baguette was crisp yet light, and the fillings were all so flavorful.
I frequent this place at least once a week. Staff is super friendly and if you are new to their restaurant are patient with customers. Food is beyond super fresh and delicious. This place is one of my favorites in the 11201 zipcode.
Their Banhmi sandwich is the only good thing that resulted from colonisation.
The classic Banh Mi was exactly what I wanted. The bread is great and so is the filling, and the spice level was very nice.
Lovely food! The place was very clean and the staff was friendly. The bread was really good, fresh and crispness.
Food is fresh and delicious, really friendly and fast service. I live nearby but wasn't feeling well enough to pick up the food, they were kind enough to deliver quickly. Thank you!
By far the best Vietnamese food I have tasted ever! If you have never had this type of cuisine, this is the place to begin your journey. And by the way, the people behind the counter could not have been more helpful. They are a delight and a breath of fresh air to this neighbourhood.
I love their grilled chicken bahn mi sandwiches. I like that they have different spice levels to choose from. I would definitely recommend people to try their bahn mi sandwiches. I also enjoyed the Thai iced tea here.
Lovely place to grab lunch to go! I've eaten here before the pandemic so I'm happy to still see it in downtown BK! It's very small inside and there's a sign stating only 2 customers at a time The nice staff would bring the food to you if you are waiting outside the entrance. I recommend their iced coffee and bahh mi sandwiches! Please support this small local business!
One of the best bahn mis in Brooklyn hands down. Very traditional to its core. As soon as you bite into the bahn mi it's one of the best things you will ever taste. The pork was savory and well properly seasoned and the pickled vegetables give it a little nice tanginess to to compliment the well seasoned pork. The French baguette bread gave a very delicious crisp and had a very nice texture that compliment your taste buds. With that savory pork and pickled vegetables it's an unbeatable combination to die for. Must try if you are in the area you wont be disappointed. On top of that the prices are reasonable.
Finally, a fantastic alternative to Hancos in BK Heights. Got the grilled pork bahn mi which was delicious. Bread was fresh, soft but crispy on the outside. Good chunks of seasoned pork. Service was friendly and inviting. Will obviously be coming back to sample the pho.
Best Traditional Banh mis I’ve ever had. Been to other locations in Crown Heights and Staten Island and all are consistently delicious. From the perfectly toasted baguette, to the delicious grilled ground pork alongside the liverwurst and ham, to the fresh and tasty pickled veggies - it’s just the perfect mix of flavors. Highly recommend.
What a hidden gem!!! You’d never know this was the best Vietnamese spot in town, but now I’m telling you!! Not only is the food incredible but this is a small business that truly cares about their customer and the quality of food. I literally heard the owner tell the kitchen not to start on a delivery order until the driver arrived so that it would be hot when they got it since this order was going further than normal.
I love Vietnamese food. Absolutely loved my experience at Banhmigos. The service was great and the food was excellent. My favorite sandwich was the traditional (ground pork) banhmi. It was delicious!!! I will definitely come back to try other items on the menu.
All 5 star because it was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. And the food was really good. My first time having Vietnamese food. The Banhmi was so good. The bread was fresh light with just a little crispness. The salads are quite large and filling. I loved the food. Will have it again. It's a small place with 3 small tables but it was just right to stop in and have a quick lunch
This place is fantastic. You can smell it halfway down the block. Anytime I am near by I get a Bahn
The spicy grilled pork tacos are delicious! I tried to only eat one but could only stop long enough for a picture. I got mine without cucumber so they might have given me a little extra carrot slaw on top. The spice was perfect, a slight fire of sriracha, the meat tender and juicy. And the mint garnish gave the perfect flavor balance. I called from outside and my order was prepared fresh & hot in minutes. Yum.
Delicious! I’ve dined in and ordered delivery and had great experiences every time. I always get the grilled pork bahn mi. Bread is perfect, veggies are fresh, and pork is nicely grilled and sweet. Good portion for the price.
New vietnamese place, has Banhi Mi sandwiches, Pho, rice box, salads. GRAND OPENING DEAL! Bubble tea buy one get one. Authentic vietnamese food. The staff are nice and friendly. Vermicelli Salad with grilled pork is $10 without tax. Prices are reasonable and average for a vermicelli salad. Lettuce was fresh and crispy. Grilled pork was flavorful and well seasoned. Limited Seating inside, 3 tables. No restroom. There is wifi!
One of the better Bahn Mi sandwiches I've had. At $11 this is a go-to meal downtown. Will be back often. The smoked duck breast summer roll was also really good but a little pricey at $8.
Great, easy, healthy, well-priced lunch option in downtown Brooklyn. The classic bahn mi sandwich is on a baguette with your choice of meat, tofu, or portabella, plus carrots, greens, and other yummy toppings. We tried the tofu and beef ones, each about $8. Very fresh and flavorful!
Pork banh mi was so good I came back for rice. Fantastic flavor both times and friendly service and a great deal
New Vietnamese spot with tacos and bubble tea. Short rib sandwich is delicious, very flavorful meat and pickled veg on soft and crusty bread. Spicy option was a touch hot, but tempered by other flavors and came out very mild. Lychee bubble tea was good. Small and chewy tapioca balls. Will try pho and tacos next! fast service. Clean COVID procedures. No seating yet.
if only I had gazed a little further down the street and spotted this Vietnamese Bahn mi place sooner. Amazingly delicious. The place serves other dishes too. Can't wait to go back..
Ohhh the banh mi is amazing , i had the spicy grilled pork for breakfast and it was the best decision ever ... The girl working behind the counter is Uber nice, great service and personal touch 10/10 will be back
Wow! What a treat to have on my day off! Every was packaged well and the food was spot on! I had the shrimp rolls, Babb mi, pho…. Everything was delicious

Very bright, nice traditional Vietnamese place. Got the Traditional Banhmi and it was really good! Great service? Do recommend!
Service was quick and fast, the employees were extremely kind and friendly, and the food was beyond delicious! The owner was extremely kind and recognized me when I returned for a second time (because it was just so good)! I really enjoyed my treatment at Banhmigos and will definitely be returning!!
Tried the traditional banh mi sandwich today. I enjoy spicy food so I requested for extra spicy. Was surprised that it actually had a good kick to it via some jalapeños and a spicy mayo type of sauce. Not ridiculously spicy but honestly spicier than I expected from food from this neighborhood (no shade) I would’ve rated the sandwich 5 stars if it wasn’t for the pickled veggies being chopped into small chunks vs the long crunchy julienned style that I usually find and enjoy. This one was a bit mushy ear in texture due to how they cut it and perhaps prepared it. Usually the veggies are my fav part of the sandwich though 🥲 However, the service was great. The male cashier was giving family owned business from the way He was so attentive and monitoring all the tables, proactively offering extra utensils and paper plates when those dining in needed it. Nothing fancy but I really appreciate when customer service is on point. Overall I’d come back here when I’m craving a viet sandwich but if you want a really great one you gotta go deeper into Brooklyn (try 8th ave - ba xuyen) or of course make the venture into Chinatown which is closer to downtown bklyn

Very average pho, the broth is kind of bland
Nice quaint spot in corner of Court & Schemerhorn. Good filling portions. Great Short Rib sandwich! Will be back!
Really nice sandwiches. The prices are a tiny bit high for a banhmi but, it's worth a try.
The banh mi had a decent amount of filling, the bread was crunchy and yet soft, and It was prepared quickly. A good bite, but not memorable otherwise. I wish they served sardine banh mi.
Good food. Charged me $2 for fish sauce for my pho.
I got a short rib bành mí to go and enjoyed it. The meat had a pleasant taste, the portion and price were reasonable, and the vegetables within the sandwich were pleasantly crisp though they could have been distributed more evenly. Will return to try more items.
Was in the neighborhood waiting for someone and decided to give Banhmigos a second try while I waited. The first time I tried their food was shortly after they newly opened. I ordered a Beef Short Rib Pho, and I found the flavors to be plain and uninspired. The portion was also small compared to what you'd normally get from traditional Vietnamese restaurants. After this first experience, I had written them off as being a non-repeat. Fast forward to January 2023, and I have an hour to kill right in front of this restaurant. There were plenty of other restaurants I could have gone to, but I decided to give Banhmigos another try and actually order a banh mi, which is what they're named for. This time, I liked what I ordered! I decided to try their Traditional banh mi, which had Vietnamese ham, liver paté, roast ground pork, and pickled fixings of daikon radish and carrots, stuffed into a French baguette. While it tasted slightly different from the other banh mis I've had, it still had great, authentic flavor, and the crusty baguette was very light and airy. The size of the sandwich was smaller than others I've had, but it was enough to be filling. I bought a Vietnamese ice coffee to wash it all down and that was really good as well. Rich, dark coffee, lightly sweetened with condensed milk. It was creamy and delicious. The entire meal was surprisingly satisfying compared to my first experience. The only other criticism I have is the cost of the food. The sandwich was $4 more than what other Vietnamese restaurants charge, but I rationalized this was due to the real estate of the area. Overall, I would return for the Traditional banh mi and Vietnamese ice coffee, if I have a craving for them and can't access other Vietnamese restaurants.
The spare rib banh mi was delish. Pork was a little grizzly with fat, but still super tender and great marinade. The bread was crispy on the outside. The taro milk tea was the worst I’ve ever had. It tasted like lavender soap. I could barely get through 2 sips of it.
Quite a nice and quaint little place to get a quick meal and not too bad bowl of pho. The portion is reasonable for the price for New York City standard, with fresh vegetables etc. The broth is not overly salted which is also a plus point.

Tried their beef pho from Uber eat,… hmmm not so authentic
Pho with grilled chicken isndifferwnt from pho taste i know. It is sweet soup. Another taste than pho. Service friendly. Soup Served in plastik bowl
Food tastes okay. Highly overpriced for the taste it provides. The shredded chicken pho was unimpressive very bland, but the jalapeños added and hot sauce made it good. They charge 50 cents for an extra hot sauce, although it’s super small. The Thai tea was very good. I would give this place one more try, but it would be for a sandwich not the pho. The Pho 🍜 was disappointing.
Grilled pork is very salty! Wish the bahnmi had more pickled carrots, cucumber, and cilantro to balance it out. Their coffee is good, could be stronger.
The bowls were paper / plastic products... seems like take-a-way option. Kinda stingy on the sauce packs... asked for a few more and just given one of each, I like to make a dipping sauce for my meat. However the Pho was a rich umptuous beef flavor ... strangely the portion was just right for me... however I think this was more a lunch size as apposed to dinner serving size. They were strange about buying/ adding extra meat... They made me order the more expensive combination and add rare beef to it... not a big deal it made the bowl $3 bucks more. They just wouldn't sell extra Brisket as 'extra' protein.

I ordered the traditional banhmi sandwich it was decent. The shrimp rolls were meh and the peanut sauce that came with it was 👎🏽 I also had a bubble tea and it had no flavor at all. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t go back.

I’m honestly surprised by all the good reviews. This place is serving hot garbage. The “sliced beef” in the pho tasted way off. Would not recommend.
The banh mi here is very good; however, I’ve been here twice where I was waiting 30min for a single sandwich. When I ask, it’s clear that the ticket has been lost. Order online to avoid the issues.
Friendly service, bright and clean restaurant, reasonable prices, low quality flavorless food.
I'm sorry, but this is one of the biggest rip offs I've ever had for a $12 banh mi sandwich. I wanted to try this place out since I've never had a banh mi sandwich and it looked really solid. My sandwich was mainly bread and it weighed less than a feather. Only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because it tasted decent, but overall really unimpressed and will not be back....
Way overpriced for the slim amount of meat you get in the duck rolls. During the few moments I could taste duck it was good, just wish there was more.
We ordered online and learned that we paid at least an extra 20% on top of the total and tip! When we picked our order up I told the manager and he said he had no control over that because a third party company handles the online commerce that for him. The two reasons that make this disappointing is the manager made no effort to make me the customer satisfied. He could of offered a free desert or something to soften the experience. Secondly, wouldn't you think if your customers were complaining and upset because that your online company is not really taking a slice of the profit but overcharging your customers and penalizing them for ordering online your goods. And not a one dollar or a few cents it was an extra $4 or $5.
The banh mi are good but the rest is very meh. The pho is downright disappointing, the broth doesn't really taste like anything, and there's very few sides to flavor it yourself. Also the banh mi are 12$. Overall wouldn't recommend
I normally come here specifically for the chicken pho. It is really good. However this time I got a shrimp banh mi, and I would not recommend it, the shrimp looked and tasted like a watered down version of a shrimp cocktail, it was not seasoned and was not very tasty also the portion size was pretty small and it cost $15 if you’re going to come here I definitely recommend the fair but save your money and time if you’re going for that shrimp banh mi.

Good bread, but hardly any cilantro and didn’t give me any option for spicy.

Poor tasting. Pathetic attempt at making Vietnamese food
The infamous beef sandwich was full of carrots. the only meat on the sandwich was in he very crease of the bread. They should be embarrassed about this sandwich. There was no meat to bread ratio at all. just call it a slider.
The service was good. However, the short rib banh mi was rancid. By the time I got to my destination which took 20 minutes to get to, I opened the sandwich up took a bite then upchuck then I threw it out.
I ordered the shredded chicken with rice and received what could only be described as a single unseasoned boiled chicken breast cut into small strips with rice. My father had a pho soup that could be likened to hot tap water with noodles and three shrimp sliced to give the appearance of six. Our beverages were even more atrocious as they had the exact same gross aftertaste, meaning that they clearly just use water from the tap. If I could give this restaurant zero stars, I would. They are undeserving of praise in any regard and their food is horribly overpriced for the complete lack of effort put into their unappetizing food.
Ordered the tofu bahn mi for $13. Tofu wasn't cooked, sandwich was small and bland---maybe it achieved flavor and taste in a world where my palate was calibrated with sandpaper and corn husks.
I’m sorry and I hate to give a negative review, but I feel like in this case I genuinely have to warn people - DO NOT GO HERE. Like I cannot overstate the extent to which you should just pick literally anywhere else to get your Vietnamese food I’m truly baffled and perplexed that this place has above like, a 3 star rating. The food was genuinely the worst meal I’ve had in 10+ years. It was so bad my ancestors were shaking and crying and probably cursed me for even putting this in my body. We had the pho. How do you mess up a pho?? Apparently by making the noodles a wet, soggy mess of literal slop, the weirdest mystery meat ever put on God’s green earth, and a disgusting “broth” that tasted like lukewarm salt water. I think it was like 12 hours old and had been soaking them they microwaved it. Like why even do that to someone you just paid $30 for your food dude??
It is anything but not Vietnamese cuisine. Pho Bo soup is not tasty and not authentic at all, the broth is liquid, spices are not all added, and the price is overpriced. I finished it only because I was hungry. Don't waste your time and save your money.
