Phenomenal food, I can’t believe I haven’t seen this on more lists of the best Mexican in NYC. The mole is fantastic, the quesadillas unique and delicious, cocktails amazing!!! Don’t walk, run.
The food was fantastic! I loved the guacamole and chips, and the fish tacos were delicious! The barbacoa and al pastor tacos were also very good. The service was also good, we'll definitely be back.
Hello I'm Marlon and I'm addicted to Al Pastor tacos. I've been eyeing this spot ever since Talde close. Ever since I saw the dark royal blue interior when I peeked in during the modelling, I had visions of greatness for the next South Slope restaurant to occupy this space. I know it's only been three tacos but you can tell so much from the Al Pastor tacos and homemade hot sauce. I could have eaten another 6 tacos, they were that good. The pineapple salsa helped to balance the heat from the jalapenos. I was a little surprised how smokey the hot sauce was but it had a nice kick. I'm excited to come back and try the Mole Oaxaqueño. Great service. Friendly staff. The manager is a vet from Alma in Carroll Gardens. This is a welcomed addition to the neighborhood. Update: just saw Robi's photo of the fish. It'll be a toss-up between the pescado and molé next time
Loved this place. You can tell they are very experienced and take pride in their restaurant and community. My husband and I ventured there and so glad we went. Especially loved the fresh juices and fish tacos. ⭐️
This was our first time there since they opened and I was very impressed! The food was delicious for a busy night (Valentine's day) and it was a comfortable environment for us to bring our toddler. The staff was friendly and attentive and we'll definitely be back. Note: the prices were not toddler friendly and I didnt see a kids menu so it's not necessarily a frequent family dinner spot.
Extensive cocktail menu and the drinks were so delicious. Staff was attentive and so friendly. Got some great guacamole and quesadillas. Will definitely be back to try more of their menu!
Great food and atmosphere. Service waa good as well. Ordered the Guacamole and queso fundido as starters. They were both great but the queso was my favorite, really good flavors and the homemade corn tortilla Enchiladas and barbacoa del mercado for entrees. Lamb was delicious. Flan and brownie for dessert. Were both good. But i really enjoyed the brownie the best. It wasn't overly sweet like most brownie desserts. Good selection of mezcal and their house brand was surprisingly better tasting than some of the more expensive brands.
Upon returning from a trip to OAXACA i coincidentally stumbled across this place a few blocks from where I live. Having eaten at some of the best places in Oaxaca I had high standards and was not expecting to be as impressed with the food as I was. We ordered guacamole which was very nice, enchiladas(good but not better than other upscale mexican places) and the tamales which I can say were the best tamales I ever had. Went back the following 2 days for the tamales alone. Will try the mole next which I am usually hesitant to try but looked incredible at the next table over. I will definitely be back regularly. One thing to note is that the place is BYOB while pending liquor license so done expect any cocktails yet. There is a nice wine store down the street and they didnt even have a corking fee.
Great flavours and lovely food in this Oaxacan inspected restaurant. Service was attentive without being over done. Right now it's a BYOB, but I understand it is waiting for a license for drink. I chatted with the owners, and they are planning a great selection of Tequila and Mezcal.
The music instantly hit the second I walked the restaurant. I appreciate it how kind the staff was towards my date and I. This is easily going down as a nice romantic spot to enjoy quality food with the kick of spice I have been craving.
I’ve been wanting to check out Casa Azul since it opened so I was very excited to see that they are currently open for take out. I called to place my order and picked it up 30 minutes later. I ordered a bunch of items to try over the weekend! I had the salad, tacos al pastor and guacamole on the first night. Everything was fresh and delicious. The guacamole had a bit of a kick. The chips were super crispy. The salad was dressed perfectly. The al pastor tacos with the pineapple salsa were so tasty. I also got the chicken mole and enchiladas. They reheated really easily in the oven the next night. The mole chicken was juicy and the abuelita sauce on the enchiladas was wonderful. I definitely recommend checking out this family owned restaurant. Oh and they also have margaritas to go! :)
Ahhh such an awesome experience! Their margs were soooo good and hit you where you needed it!🤣 Our server was amazing and such a delight! She was very helpful and fun! She took amazing care of all 7 of us rowdy women 🤣. We got some food but what we got was so incredibly delicious and flavourful! Highly recommend!!
This is the mole that made me like mole 🔥🔥🔥 drinks are incredible but get the enchiladas de pollo and add mole 👍🏻👍🏻
Great atmosphere, concise and quality menu, service was excellent! Had a great night and good vegetarian enchiladas :)
The food is good and the service too. What made last night stand out to me and my two fellow diners: The cocktails! We had a bunch of them and all were incredibly well balanced, tasty and creative 😍 I’ll go back for more! Milk punch 🔥 Sour 🔥 Clarified colada 🔥 Vesper 🔥
Modern Mexican cuisine and great cocktails. The very friendly service will be remembered. We were happy to come back. Highly recommended.
I had a really nice experience here. the service was friendly, we had an incident with spilling a drink and they were super helpful and kind. we enjoyed all the food, my favorites were the queso fundido and the pulpo. would definitely return, seems like a neighborhood staple.
Always a delight! Came in with a big party. Seated without too long a wait
Beautiful place and nice atmosphere. The food is amazing!! I’m from Oaxaca and this is the only place I found that has an authentic Tlayuda. The the drinks are amazing, they also accommodated my kids with hibiscus water. Will definitely be back to try all of their cocktails and more food.
I love this restaurant. Lovely people and really good food. Try the barbacoa and chicken mole. The guacamole is always good! Great tortillas. We always order extra.
Amazing place, amazing ambiance, amazing people. We were treated very friendly from start to finish. The workers were extremely delightful, and it felt genuine, not forced or faked like other places. The food was spot on. Cooked and served perfectly, the drinks were really, really good. Not one of us four had any complaints about our dishes. We went for a birthday last night and had an absolute blast. Music could have been a little louder but it was just right for being able to conversate without having to shout. The hour drive from New Rochelle to this spot was well worth it and would recommend anyone considering going to this place to do so.
I visited Casa Azul for the first time this week and it was SO cute!! It’s truly a neighborhood spot to grab some great Mexican food and catch up with friends over drinks. The thing I liked the most was the fact that they had happy hour on a Saturday. Amazing deal and I can’t wait to visit again.
Dinner with family, great drinks and authentic Mexican dishes with modern touch. Ceviche, enchiladas, flauta was delicious!
I dined here around 5:30 on a Tuesday and it was pleasantly quiet. The staff didn't rush us and was so helpful with offering menu suggestions, which are needed because everything looks good! We settled on sharing copious amounts of chips and salsa, flautas and enchiladas. I also had a spicy margarita which was phenomenal!
So incredibly delicious. The Guac and homemade chips (still warm) started off a delectable meal. My son relished his fish tacos and I loved my chicken flautas. The black beans and rice were also scrumptious with homemade stewed flavor to the beans. The service was also prompt, informative, attentive, and warm. Very cheerful ambiance as well. Will totally be back and highly recommend!
As an avid explorer of new dining experiences, stumbling upon this restaurant was a delightful surprise. The place exuded a fantastic ambiance, and for the quality of the offerings, the prices were more than reasonable. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and promptly seated. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, with Liz, our server, standing out as a true gem. She provided us with a thorough explanation of the menu, and all her recommendations were spot-on. To kick off our culinary journey, we each started with a refreshing drink that left us more than satisfied. The appetizers we ordered, including the Tamal special of the day at $7 and the Flautas at $14, were incredibly tasty. The restaurant's interior had a modern touch and was impressively clean and inviting. The main course was nothing short of a gastronomic delight; my Branzino practically melted in my mouth! I'm going to share a picture of my entrée so you can see the culinary masterpiece for yourself. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. One notable plus was that the receipt did not include an automatic gratuity, which I appreciated. However, my one gripe was when it came time to settle the bill. The payment screen initially suggested a 20% tip, with a recommendation of 23%, which I found a bit exorbitant
We came a little bit late for food after the bar convent and Benito was our bartender. He was so patient and kind. Amazing service, the food was great, the drinks and the mezcal selection. When you’re visiting Brooklyn or you live there go to Casa Azul and ask for Benito <3
I had been wanting to come here for months after passing it every day and finally stopped by. It was incredible! We had their enchiladas and flautas and rice and beans. They tasted so authentic and homey like what our family cooks (but slightly more elevated). The special on the night that we went was a tamal oaxaqueño and it tasted exactly like the ones my partner and I have had in Mexico. I’ve been here a few times now, both for dine-in and takeout, and it’s a new favorite of mine.
Wonderful experience. The bartenders and staff are warm, welcoming, pleasant, and extremely knowledgeable on tequila and Mezcal alike. Fantastic selection for tastings and the cocktails are well worth the money. Great spot for any tequila/mezcal lover.
Great brunch, really tasty food, well balanced and constructed. Great huevos rancheros, chilaquiles, and Bloody Mary, all at reasonable prices.
Food and cocktails are creative but without sacrificing authenticity. A family from Oaxaca opened this restaurant in the heart of Park Slope. Personally love the Flautas and Quesadilla Al Pastor. Waiters are kind, friendly, and attentive. Lulu is the best manager in the biz. She and her staff take great care of their customers.
love casa azul. sad they’re closing, 10/10 in everything: food, service, atmosfera, drinks!
The service at Casa Azul was absolutely splendid — and Eduardo made it even more special. The drinks were exquisite, especially the Razer — bold, balanced, and unforgettable. If you’re into cocktails with character, that one is a must. Eduardo’s attention to detail and warmth made us feel like VIPs from the moment we sat down. If you’re anywhere near Casa Azul, make sure to stop by and ask for Eduardo. He’ll take great care of you, and the whole experience will be worth it. Highly recommended!
Casa Azul in Park Slope is a must-visit spot for delicious Mexican cuisine. The Guacamole + Totopos was a standout dish and the Carne Azada was a fantastic grilled skirt steak - I wish I had ordered two! The Barbacoa Adobada was also good, but the steak was the real winner. The Margarita de Mezcal was fantastic, and I couldn't resist having more than one. The atmosphere at the bar was inviting and I even had a great conversations with the bartender and other patrons.
I am obsessed w this place. The carne asada Plato fuerte (I.e. Steak) is super well seasoned and has to be marinated. The veggies include traditional and seasonal, also grilled and 😍. The margaritas both picosita and mezcal are so well balanced and just as spirit forward as needed. A relief to find an authentic place in park slope.
Casa Azul was, first and foremost, delicious. Their tacos are nearly perfect in dimension, juiciness, and taste. The pescado tacos are, in my estimation, perfect. The steak ones were delicious, and even my picky seven year old like them. And during happy hour the prices are extremely reasonable. Speaking of children, and this is why I’m rating Casa Azul so highly, we were two families with a total of three small children and they were extremely welcoming and patient with our group and it’s chaotic ordering. Their kindness and their amazing food make this a place I will definitely return to whenever I visit Prospect Park. Thank you Casa Azul!
This is our go to Mexican spot, we eat here almost once per week and have had almost everything on the menu. The food is 5 stars, absolutely delicious flavors and execution. Most of the meat on the menu is organic and service is always fantastic. They have the best Michelada in town!
Great cuisine , tamales are a must try , they make different every day , the ceviche , the mole sauce hit the spot . Brings something different to Mexican food. Take advantage of the BYOB , I’ve heard it’s going to change . Be patient when it gets busy, it’s a cool place to relax and enjoy a beautiful time around the neighborhood
Not that far from my Daves Hot Chicken store and I brought my staff and training team and partner's here and they all absolutely loved it! The food was on point, get a table for 6-8 people was very easy and fast as staff accomodated us and the food was delicious. The drinks were very good as well. Very friendly environment and I highly recommend this place.
I Love this place from the food to the service and the atmosphere 10/10 Not words to describe how good is the Espresso Martini in this Place. Great Service Delicious food Amazing Cocktails 🍸
Love this neighborhood spot! We have been many times, and it's great for a casual weekend dinner or to celebrate with tequila flights. The fish tacos are some of the bestttt I've ever had, the enchiladas are delicious, and the cocktails are great. Highly recommend!
A poetic ode to Frida Kahlo and Oaxaca, Mexico, this restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere in which to enjoy traditional Mexican food and drink. We enjoyed the table d'hôte of the day, a tamale inspired starter, a rich and flavourful pozole soup for main course, a very tasty ice cream confection for dessert, followed by a Mexican coffee delightfully laced with cinnamon and brown sugar. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented with every care taken to maintain authenticity. The drinks, too, were fabulous. I highly recommend the margarita piquante which I think was my favourite; just the right blend of lime and chile. The wait staff was attentive and the manager was on hand, stopping by our table to say hello, answer questions about the menu and to ensure we were enjoying our experience. Despite our choosing the fixed menu, I did notice the menu is quite extensive with everything from tacos and quesadillas to seafood and fine traditional Mexican cuisine. I also noticed they have a party room downstairs for large groups. Overall it was a wonderful experience, I could not fault them on food, service or atmosphere. In fact I'm already planning a return visit!
Might be my new favorite Mexican restaurant in NY. Oaxacan focused food presented in a beautiful space. Everything was fantastic: the flautas to start (delicious), the mole was fantastic - almost like what I’ve had in Mexico, the carne asada was cooked to perfection and served with an amazing sauce. Drinks are fantastic too. Definitely recommend to all
Last night was our second time at Casa Azul but it is fast becoming one of our favorite restaurants! I have been learning more about tequila and mezcal and was searching for a restaurant with a great selection. Casa Azul not only has a great selection but amazing service, which made a world of difference. Our waitress Pamela was an incredibly knowledgable guide through the different types and flavors of mezcal. On both our visits I got a flight of mezcal and each one was unique and interesting. Though I don’t know much about mezcal, Pamela was patient with all my questions and recommended several new mezcales this trip based on what I liked last time. This will be my mezcal and tequila tasting spot for sure! Pamela was also so kind to our slightly chaotic 1 year old and it made all the difference since we don’t often get a sitter. We saw another two families there - it’s definitely family friendly without sacrificing vibe. Our first visit was a date night without our son and it felt plenty upscale for a kid free night out. The adult food is also excellent!! The fish tacos may be one of the best I’ve had and the barbacoa our first time was amazing. They have a kids sampler plate of chicken, rice, beans, and avocado which was so helpful for our son.
So happy I finally checked this place out! Casa Azul has immediately become a Park Slope favorite. Everything I have tried has been excellent. I especially recommend their quesadilla as a starter and for mains the Branzino , and their Carne Asada was divine! We were served twice by Pamela who is absolutely the kindest and gives helpful recommendations. Benito and Diego are amazing as well- cocktails are the best. Tried Mexican sake for the first time, with their Nami Spritz which I claim as the drink of the summer. Definitely give this place a try!
An Unforgettable Mixology Experience I visited Casa Azul and I have to say, the experience behind the bar with Eduardo was simply magical. Every cocktail he crafted was an explosion of flavors, aromas, and sensations — it felt like each sip told a story. Eduardo is not just a bartender; he’s a true artist of mixology. His passion, creativity, and the way he masters every detail of the process make sitting at the bar a truly sensory experience. He didn’t just make drinks — he created moments. Thank you, Eduardo, for taking the night to another level. Without a doubt, Casa Azul wouldn’t be the same without you. I’ll definitely be back for more!
a wonderful experience at a modern Mexican place had outdoor dining during a Sunday for brunch with tacos including al pastore and fish and also there modern take on quesadilla and a fresh avocado but really really good hot sauce along with a really strong and tasty frozen. margarita with passion, fruit and pineapple that was a must-have. and ended it off with a very dense but delicious. flan highly recommended edit: mango con chile excellent sweet strong drink, taco peescados always flavorful, queso fundido presented like crmee brulee and tasty, habenero hot sauce they provide is fire, and can skip the enchiladas pollo pretty reg mole too sweet edit again: carne asada, freaking delicious with the sear and the sauce is just incredible. also, the fish tacos still good. house Margarita on a picture with salted rim and tequila. very good for getting lit
It's such a great spot. Flavors and sauces are so good. Drinks are really interesting and tasty, and both a feast for the eyes as well as your tastebuds. They serve their chips warm with your guacamole. I always get their tacos de pescado, but this time, it was soggy. I think it might have sat too long waiting for the rest of the order to come, which might have been our fault. It's always been super crispy. Even while soggy, the fish still was flavorful, and I love the sauce for it. They make pretty good mocktails too, that taste like cocktails, not just a fruit juice. It's always such a treat to come here.
I stopped in for brunch for the first time today after having this place on my go-to list for a while now. Everything from the ambiance to the food and drinks was wonderful. My server Liz was friendly and very attentive. I ordered the Barbacoa Adobado and the Tres Leches Cake, and both were absolutely delicious and flavorful. My Beso Caliente really hit the spot as well. The establishment is clean, and the food came out fast. Not only do they have indoor dining, but they also have outdoor dining as well. I definitely recommend and will most certainly dine here again in the future.
The place has become favorite spot in Brooklyn for drinks and food. They do have delicious drinks and the food is just perfect. They have the best mole I've tried so far. Perfect ratio chips to guac 👌🏻The service is also very good and very attentive. Highly recommended the place for a date night.
Have had this place bookmarked for a minute. Enjoyed a wonderful solo dinner here last night. They had an empanada special featuring crab meat topped with a mango salsa. I wasn't super hungry so that meal did the trick. The empanada was very crunchy, could have used some more meat in my opinion, the sweet salsa was a great compliment. I also added a side of soft tortillas and seasoned veggies which thankfully were only $5 each. Can we talk about how they have the options for cheap sides to build your meal. Such a good concept! My drink was so delicious. I had the green razor made with illegal mezcal , cucumber poblano ,Thai basil , charred pineapple and lemon. Very strong and well balanced. Lastly their decor was drop dead gorgeous. The skeleton illuminated in gold, the warm blue background, so esthetically pleasing. Overall elegant and comfortable. The service was very welcoming as well. I arrived an hour before they close and did not feel rushed. Waited a little for my sides. 5 stars for cocktails and decor 4 star for the food
You one of those days parking goods shine on you and you go to an amazing event at the Prospect Park bandshell and you are tired but not quite ready to end the evening and that is how we ended up at Casa Azul and it was an awesome end to an amazing day out. The food was amazing the drinks was lovely the service was great. All across an A++++day. Btw way you know the food is on point when u just want to have more but you are so full you have them pack the leftovers which was the sauce from the land stew dish and two tortillas for a midnight snack and it really was just as good the second time around minus the ambiance and company
Food was great and drinks were good. My only complaint is that they don't give you nearly as enough tortillas as they should. They give you 4 very small tortillas and charge you extra if you want more with your main dish.
The decor is not over done. Upbeat ambience, great food. Desserts did not make the cut. I tried tres leche, just okay and the flan was quite firm. Your greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
We were so happy to see Casa Azul open up in the former Talde space and tried it out the other night. Overall, they are off to a solid start, but a few refinements will put them over the top as a good neighborhood restaurant. The space itself is great, a nice evolution from the former restaurant and a really nice place to dine. The service, however, was not great. We had a question about an ingredient in the menu and it was clear that the server had no idea and didn't express any interest in getting us the correct answer. Ended up googling the answer while at the table so we could order. They need to train their wait staff in the menu and get them enthusiastic about what they're serving. My husband got enchiladas with the abuelita sauce, which were excellent. I had a tlayuda, which was seriously underwhelming. It had nearly no flavor or creativity: just a smear of refried beans with some dry shredded cabbage and crumbled cheese. That was it. I managed to scrape the abuelita sauce off my husband's plate and drizzle it over the tlayuda and it turned out to be a very good dish. But there is just something missing in the execution if they are comfortable sending out that tlayuda without understanding that it needs something to bring it all together.
It was good for a casual bite when you're feeling like Mexican food with friends. The inside is welcoming, the servers and really attentive and the menu was great.
A bit pricey but the food was very good and the service was very attentive. Really liked the chicken with chocolate sauce and queso fundo. We were surprised with how kid friendly it was. It wasn’t too busy because we came early but it gets pretty packed quickly. We plan on coming back again.
The food was great, we tried the house salad, guacomole, fish tacos, and lamb dish. All was flavorful and delicious. Drinks were also really good. The wait time was the only drawback
Food was ok, chips with guacamole ok all the chips were like broken crumbs. The main course was good but to heavy on the sauce. Overall not bad but not awesome.
Casa Azul is an eatery and big on drinks.. It isnt a restaurant for various food options. In my opinion, the Al Pastor tacos were mediocre and missing some flavors. The guacamole and chips were fresh and had good flavor. As mentioned before, they're big on drinks so they have an extensive drink menu. Service was okay, the server was friendly.
This is a COVID-era review. The food was pretty good though not fantastic. The Mexican here is not leagues above what you can get at a cheaper place; the prices reflect the high-rent location. Service was good and well meaning, but I had issues with their COVID precautions. Someone brought a drink for our table to someone else and let them put their hands on the drink and would have served it to us if I had not objected. (Pre COVID I would not care.) They use menus on these wooden boards. Are they really thoroughly cleaning those between customers? Why not use a QR code or disposable menus? The hostess had issues with her mask, which kept falling off her face, and she kept touching it and then the menus, etc.. I also feared getting hit by a car in the outdoor seating. There are no safety cones or signs on the seating in former parking places.
Good and interesting cocktails. The octopus was perfect--cooked expertly and with a delicious sauce and well-chosen vegetables. The rellenos and quesadilla were good and different in a good way. The tacos were nearly tasteless, overwhelmed with a bland cabbage mix and a nothing sauce. Server was pleasant but less than attentive.
Quality was fine but not quite worthy of the prices. They couldn’t make their chicken and cheese enchiladas with just cheese, which I have never once experienced at a Mexican restaurant, be it fancy or down-home. Service slow.
I feel like this place would have got a higher rating from me had we been sat somewhere else. My party was sat right next to the kitchen window and it was BLAZING hot, like we were fanning ourselves and rolling up our sleeves to try and cool down 😭 And the waitstaff forgot about us and no one came over to us for the first 20 min we were there which wasn’t great. They said they would take off the charge for our guacamole bc it took them so long to serve us but they didn’t end up doing that. Food was truly great! No complaints there. I would just definitely try to get a seat towards the front of the restaurant or else you might be sweating all night and forgotten about by the waitstaff.
I sat at the bar on this sleepy Tues evening. The guacamole and chips were bland, at best, and the salsa was more like a hot sauce than a salsa. The fish tacos, while fresh, were again bland and lack zip. Most drinks seemed to be tequila based, and they seem to have quite a selection , although my first margarita was on the tart side. On the other hand, my bartender was quite attentive and did what he could to keep me content.
If you really enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine, this is not your place. This dish was flavorless and sprinkled with achiote-infused oil (greasy) Not to mention being overpriced for just a bunch of cabbage tossed on top of a tortilla, 6 slices of tomato, and 1/4 of an avocado. There was also oxaca cheese and black beans, but the flavors were not there.
Big place. The food didn't have much flavor and everything was bland and the drinks were small and watered down. The service was inconsistent and not attentive. The prices were way too expensive for the lackluster experience.
They lack any form of allergy awareness. I’m gravely allergic to sesame seeds. I ordered the enchiladas and I broke out into an allergic reaction after consuming them. Turns out there were seeds in the sauce and on the shell itself. There is no label saying sesame seeds and I find it an extreme safety hazard. Now my entire night is ruined, and I’m truly shocked no one else has had a similar reaction. This needs to be fixed! In addition, I was supposed to have an allergy test 2 days after New Years but this accident has caused a cancelation and loss of $100. Totally not worth it, not returning again. However, on the bright side they did comp the order and give a refund which was good customer service.
The food is fine. The BYOB is nice. The prices, though, are astoundingly high for how good it is. If you’re not in need of a family-oriented place but in the mood for Mexican, Chela to the north or Fonda to the south are MUCH higher quality for the same price (if not cheaper).
Naaaaah this ain’t it y’all. The minute I saw baby’s breath as garnish for my margarita it was clear this place has a specific target audience . Our bill was $98 with just 3 appetizers and 2 drinks. I’ve had way better Mexican food at better price points. Nice ambience though
First off let’s start on how overpriced this place is for such quality on the food I think they need to tone it down. Food quality is terrible. The queso fundido swims in oil and it’s not tasty at all. Fajitas tasted horrible for $37 for the plate you would expect a good meal oh and also be aware that if you ask for extra tortillas because they give you only 3 tortillas with the queso fundido for 5 people they will charge you $12 for them. Disappointing overall ended up paying $252 with tip included for 5 people which i don’t mind paying when the service is good but then again it wasn’t and on top of that they add the tax after they add their tip which I’m pretty sure it’s not legal. And after you pay they give you your credit card receipt with the option to put a tip which is already included so be aware of that! There’s many excellent Mexican places in park slope starting by Fonda across the street from this place. Don’t waste your money here.
The food at this place was horrible. I usually have great experiences when I go out to eat because I am a foodie. The steak in the Quesadilla was hard when I asked for medium steak and the quesadilla itself was hard I couldn’t even bite into it. They took the fajitas off the menu and that’s what we were there for and was told the fajitas was good and the worst part it wasn’t much of a menu. It was a very short menu at that, not many options to choose from. We left hungry because we didn’t even the enjoy the food.
Ordered from here twice. Both times they seemed unable to navigate the delivery. Both orders showed up two hours late and frozen cold. When called the restaurant manager said he didn't care and it was Seamless' fault. It's too bad as their food is very good but their customer service and giving any care to their job of food service is laughable. I would never recommend this restaurant to an enemy and hope they go out of business soon so they can go back to cooking excellent food for their family and keep their rudeness and lack of professionalism out of the food service industry.
