The cold brew shake- so addictive! Always super friendly service and delicious coffee + smoothies.
This place makes the best iced lattes! The quality is so good thanks to the amazing espresso + Battenkill Farms milk! The baristas clearly put a lot of care into making everything (and are super nice, too!). Excellent matcha drinks as well. And great views out over the water, especially when it's warm out and you can sit outside - or at the table by the big glass window. This place is a hidden gem.
Wonderful staff -knoweldgable and friendly. Coffee is delicious. My go-to spot every morning.
Our favorite neighborhood spot, a daily stop for me. The staff goes above and beyond to remember your name and order and makes the experience personal. It can get busy on the weekends given how busy the area/piers get, but the staff is always on top of it working hard to make sure the wait isn't too bad. The coffee is consistently great -- the sesame latte (both hot and cold) is incredible, and their cold brew shake is a must have. Cannot say enough good things about this spot, definitely check it out!!
If you're looking for a coffee experience that blends exceptional flavors with stunning views, Kaigo Coffee Room is an absolute must-visit! Their cold brew is a standout—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced, it’s the kind of drink that refreshes while still delivering a robust coffee flavor. What truly elevates your visit, though, is the breathtaking view of the New York City skyline. There’s something magical about sipping on that delicious cold brew while gazing out at the iconic buildings and vibrant energy of the city. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Kaigo Coffee Room offers a delightful combination of fantastic coffee and unforgettable vistas. Highly recommend!
Fantastic coffee shop in Brooklyn Bridge Park. The cold brew shake and the black sesame latte are my favorites, both superbly executed by the excellent staff! I come here regularly, and it's always consistently top notch.
Kaigo has been my go-to coffee spot for years for its delicious coffee and food, and its truly wonderful staff. They are integral to the community and ensure everyone who comes through their doors feels welcomed and cared for (and plied with copious amounts of caffeine, of course). Often, the coffee itself is secondary to the friendly and warm conversations I have with Steven and Vivi :) Thank you to the lovely folks at Kaigo for all the iced vanilla lattes - and much, much more!
Get a coffee here and take a walk in the park. It doesn’t get better than that! Great speciality lattes, as well as all the classics. Amazing location, great service. Definitely recommend if you’re in the park looking for a coffee.
Kaigo is the unicorn—the local indie coffee shop with no attitude, baristas who remember your coffee order, great cold brew and taro lattes, pastries from Balthazar, and a stunning view of Manhattan and the harbor. A gem.
Excellent hot coffee and cold brew for mom and dad. Lychee Berry Lemonade and slushies for the kids before the Brooklyn Pier walk. Sandwiches and Snack options for on the go as well.
The Coffee ist very good like the Coffee-Muffin. Amazing!
We popped in for a flat white whilst waiting for the ferry to Wall Street. This was the best coffee we've had in our short stay in the USA and it was accompanied by a delicious vegan tahini cookie. There was plenty of space and we managed to find a socket to charge a mobile phone.
Today was my first visit to Kaigo and the customer service was excellent with a welcoming environment. The drip coffee, chai tea and pain au raison were also delicious.
I LOVE Kaigo! It’s become a staple for my husband and I. The service is fantastic, coffee is great, and the food is amazing, especially the pastries. I personally am obsessed with the danishes! SO delicious. The staff is so nice here and really go above and beyond with the fantastic service. I also really love how dog friendly they are! Kaigo is just all around totally awesome. Highly recommend!
I’d go here over and over again it’s sooooo good best matcha I’ve had in NY. And everyone was so nice they will be seeing me again FOR SURE. Good place to work as wellI
Absolutely recommend. I'm from New Zealand so pretty particular about my coffee but had a perfect Flat White here. Friendly service from the girl at the counter and I really enjoyed the vibe in this spot with the view etc If I lived in the area, this would absolutely be my new morning coffee spot but I will have to settle for popping in whenever I'm back in the area 🙂
Love this place. I always get the double berry banana smoothie with chocolate protein. It’s great. Great location too and the best service!
The staff here are the nicest! The coffee is a great and the sandwiches are tasty too
Cafe next to Brooklyn Bridge Park with coffee, smoothies and sandwiches. Chicken panini was great, well toasted and full of ingredients. Perfect for a meal in the warm weather when you can sit outside and enjoy the expansive view of the harbor
I work in the park for the summer and my favorite spot to go is kaigo coffee room. I love the energy and the staff is very welcoming and warming. The music is nice and it’s a calm space to eat, chat or just to sit and enjoy the view of the pier.
The sesame latte here is really good. Love the vibe and the workers. Steve the owner of the cafe is awesome, such a friendly place and pleasant experience I have. Hope the place does well and be here forever!
The staff is always friendly and service is quick! Their menu is reasonably priced and there’s plenty to choose from. I highly recommend the panini sandwiches and their cold brew shake!
stopped by for a quick snack and damn this might be one of the top grilled cheeses i’ve had. the bread reminds me of a rosemary foccacia and the cheese is more of a mozzarella blend than your traditional american. splendid and was debating ordering a second.
I don’t always go out of my way to make reviews; but i had to for this one. I ordered a Honey Spice Latte a bit on the sweet side but the coffee tastes fresh! Next time i am coming ordering the Lavander Matcha!
Great coffee spot & location is perfect, grab a cup & go for a walk in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
The avocado toast at Kaigo Room should be the standard for all avocado toast everywhere. The thick cut piece of sourdough, the generous portion of perfectly mashed avocado, and flavorful toppings make this toast a winner worth coming back for even though I’ve moved away. Not to mention their staff is always so attentive and hard working!
Cold wind and rain accidentally forced us to visit this place. We decided to try Caramel Latte and were very happy! We enjoyed not only a coffee but also a wonderful view of Manhattan outside the window !!! Thanks so much, guys, for amazing evening ❤️❤️❤️
First time trying their Black Seasame Latte and was blown away. Great recommendation and service from the employees. Will definitely come back to try their other drinks.
Love their Iced Lattes..They also have a great Turkey panini..so delicious!! Grab a drink and sit on the Pier!!!
Have only gotten slushies here so far but they were both delicious! I got an Arnold Palmer and my boyfriend got mango - both equally perfect for a hot day. The employees are also super friendly, make sure you stop in!

KAIGO is a great coffee shop ! Good coffee and light snacks - what makes it so great is the staff ! Super friendly and kind - I love it here because of the staff. Vivi is always so warm and welcoming every time I come on for some coffee alone or with my son. Thank you Vivi and team - you rock ! ⭐️
They got everything right. I love this place. Coffee is always amazing, staff are attentive and friendly. Even when it’s busy they keep their cool polite nature, while keeping the flow of service. I highly recommend this place!
This is my go to for fresh smoothies, amazing coffee and pastries! What I love most is the friendly staff! They always know what kind of drink I'm in the mood for and go above and beyond to make my day better. The ingredients are high quality and my entire family can find something yummy. I def recommend this Kaigo!
Nice atmosphere with a decent view of the city. Usually pretty quiet during the school year making it a good place to go study and chill. Despite the higher end price, sandwiches are pretty good here and honestly worth it if you can afford to spend it. Employees are always working their hardest to meet the needs of the customers. All around, a pretty good coffee room. Would recommend.
Wonderful place and one of my regular coffee spots. The drinks at Kaigo are fantastic. They use high quality ingredients - beans, teas, milks, everything. Baked goods are yummy as well (especially the monkey bread). Combine that with a great team who know your name and what you are ordering before you even say it, and you have a one-of-a-kind coffee shop.

We stopped off here for a coffee and a sandwich. Simple menu with a good selection of snacks both sweet and savoury. It was very quiet when we were there and we had a nice little table looking towards Manhattan. The grilled cheese sandwich was simple and delicious and the coffee was fine.
Matcha latte is very strong, felt more charged than in other places. Taro latte is interesting and delicious of you like that flavor. The place itself is clean, service is cool but the ambiance is not very inviting, there is a lot of empty space and it feels too laconic. Not a cosy cafe where you want to sit on a rainy day.
Cafe on the water front that offers espresso drinks with Asian flair, iced teas and a good menu. I tried the black sesame latte and the flavor was wonderful and not overly sweet . The grilled cheese had herbs on the outside . I would go again .Look at the cheese pull on the grilled cheese !
Given the layout of the shop and furniture, I t’s clear that this space was designed to grab and go. This makes sense given the waterfront views and access right outside. The service is quick and efficient and were able to move a late Sunday morning line well!! Enjoyed a hot matcha with oat and my companion had a black sesame latte. She’s almost 80 and doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth and it ended being too sweet for her. Went back in to add additional oat milk to temper. We loved getting our drinks, and sitting out by the water to catch up, and enjoy the sun!

Good coffee, bad interior design and pastries/food options. The place smells so weird...
Ok coffee and espresso. The space is a bit weird but it's good for a drink if you're walking in the park.
Good coffee and pastry. Coffee has some sendiment. So it would be nice to have a better filtering. The service is bad. We were there 40 minutes before closing. We bought our coffees and pastry and wanted to eat inside. They said we cannot sit down as dining area is closed. The dining area is basically open space before the bar. So we chose to stand by the table. At some point a worker came over and tried to kick us out citing they had to clean up. One of the people in our party was an elderly man. This was very disrespectful. If business is still open, people should be able to sit down. Very bad business model. Wish they would train their staff better.
Worst experience, so overhyped. All I wanted was a pump of mocha in my cold brew which is a thicker syrup than the usual vanilla or whatever, and they refused to do it because it wouldn’t mix well. However I am very well aware it doesn’t mix the same and I do this all the time, I wasn’t going to judge the lack of mixing. Then they refused to put the stupid pump of mocha in the drink. The snobbiness was comical from the girl working. Word of advice: share your POV with the customer then give them what they want when it’s a simple ask. Will never walk in here again, there’s so many other options in the area!
