Growing disappointed :( I’ve been going to this place consistently for a year because the bagels were good and the service was quick. and the last few orders have been going downhill each time. They haven’t been able to get my order right, it’s takes way too long for even a small easy order, and my bagel is always burnt. this past time it took 20 minutes for an everything bagel w cream cheese and avocado and not only was it burnt yet again but no avocado, so I paid $8 for that. Really wanted to keep supporting this place but may have to go elsewhere if they can’t improve the service.

I am very thankful for the existence of this place, but if you tell them salt, pepper & ketchup and they dont do it for you, its bad. Why? Because when you walked 10 blocks back to your office, you have nothing but food with no taste or flavor. Everything is to go here. You cant even sit down or stand anywhere.

While the food is usually good and fresh, sometimes they get things wrong and today it really was frustrating, as an hourly employee. I have a 30 minute lunch and anything above that I don’t get paid. They made my sandwich wrong, including the items I paid for to add and I have to walk back. Which cut 15 minutes into my lunch costing me over $16. And that in itself is not the reason I wrote the review. The reason is because they didn’t offer anything. They were not apologetic. They were just like “oh” and when the cashier asked the workers at the deli counter to make my order fast since I explained, I have to run back to work. They ignored that request and made everyone’s order Who was there instead of correcting mine. Which doubled my wait time.

$9.90 for an egg and cheese on an everything bagel and a small coffee. Are you serious? It's $4.50 for the same thing at the bodega around the corner from my house. Get real. The egg and cheese was pretty good. But the price? No thanks. And none of this "eggflation" deal either. The coffee was not good.

Used to be a local go-to bagel shop. Went downhill since forever. Look at the amount of smear on my bagel. This for $7 is not acceptable for NY standard. Plus the service is a meh.

Customer service is terrible. I’ve been going here to grab a late breakfast for close to a year (long before this I went to the one on Lafayette) and the girl at the register is *always* rude. Doesn’t say hi back, doesn’t respond to a thank you. My most recent time there I called for pick up long before I went to get the food. When I went in the store, the same girl at the register ignored me and didn’t look up at me as I told her I was there for a pick up order. She had no other orders but didn’t go to check if my order was ready for at least 10 minutes as she took care of orders that slowly built up around her. When her manager (who is equally unpleasant if not worse) called for pick up, they called for a name wildlyy different than the one I spelled over the phone, while holding a sandwich that was not mine and cut me off continuously as I told them that the sandwich wasn’t mine/ explained why I was confused. No apologies for the delay, no consideration for the time I had waited for the order. I may as well have stood on the line with everyone else. I’ve given this location multiple chances because the men that prepare the orders do a wonderful job but will never be back given the lack of kindness from those at the register.

Got charge an extra 75 cent for cheese and 50 cent for red onion on top of the price. Nothing has a name on the receipt so you just have to take their word. Second time here. Twice disappointed. Wouldn’t be back because the price doesn’t stay consistent and was grossly over charged. Wasn’t charged for cheese the first time I visited.

12/17/2023 Food was horrible! What a waste of my money. Bacon was old and dried up, more like bacon jerky, roll was old and rubbery. I sent my daughter with a note to get breakfast. Either person couldn't read or just didn't care. I asked for a soft fresh roll w/ butter, bacon, eggs, and cheese. A coffee sweet with half and half. Coffee had no sugar and sandwich was cold and disgusting! 🤮 I have complained many times to the manager in reference to getting horrible food from this establishment. Obviously there is an on going problem if this keeps happening. I am surprised this place is still in business it's definitely a hit or miss but more of a miss though..I honestly believe this is the result if cheap labor with no understanding of the english language. You will never get another dime from me.

It always baffles me when a place doesn't treat every customer with friendliness, quick service and like they actually care about your business, because every single person that comes through those doors has the potential to be a lifelong and/or daily customer in NYC. I felt as if my business was unappreciated and as if the other customers, likely regulars, were much more important. Even after putting in my order and standing directly in front of the cash register, the lady ringing everyone up proceeds to ring up three people that came in after me. Just slightly annoying. After waiting about five minutes I *almost* walked out, but decided to wait it out. I was finally rung up ($6.30 for an everything bagel with Scallion cream cheese and a Sprite) and see what I thought was my bagel being brought out (looking burnt but I only got a quick glance). I get home to eat it and it's literally burnt. Besides it being burnt, it's quite possibly the worst looking everything bagel I've maybe ever seen. I'll leave it at that, but I'm definitely not ever coming back here. Plenty of other good bagel shops in the area (I'm thinking of you Court Street Bagels!) that actually care about my business and won't give me burnt bagels.
