The food was fantastic. The drinks were amazing. The ambiance was beautiful. The location was perfect. The waiter we had Ali was more enchanted with my date then doing his job. He only talked to her like i wasnt there. But I will say one of the bus boys made mybdate some honey mustard because they didnt have any and made the meal. 100 percent will come back next wouldn't want tone served by Ali he needs.tompay attention to every customer. I was never rude just ignored.
I came here with my partner and we had such a great experience. The view is honestly so nice. We ordered the Fried Calamari as an appetizer and the Chef Special “Surf and Turf” to share, and the portions were surprisingly big! One appetizer and one entrée were more than enough for both of us, we were so full by the end. Service was 10/10 — everyone was attentive, friendly, and made us feel really welcomed. Omg “Daniella” who took our order, she is amazing. Food was 10/10 and Drinks were 10/10 too. Definitely coming back again.
I’m not sure I can recall a more welcoming environment with such incredible staff, amazing food and drinks! The service is an 11/10 and the location is unmatched. This is an amazing space for a happy hour drink, classy dinner or pregame before an MSG event. I will be back multiple times!
Santiago was amazing! He gave us amazing recommendations and the drinks were top tier! Beautiful bar with amazing food. Highly recommend the Nicoise salad. Will be back again and again.
Surprisingly amazing food. Squash soup, Asian salad and the burger were fantastic
Amazing prime rib! Hannah, our wait staff was a dream. Good was delish . Everyone who works here had a great attitude and a smile. We will be back
I visited for HH on a Tuesday. There was a bustling crowd. The staff managed to keep everyone happy.. The hummus was on point. It's located in the 2nd floor of Penn.
I recently had the chance to check out the Landing, and I have to say , it definitely exceeded my expectations.
This was our first time at The Landing. It’s a cool restaurant inside an office building - busy bar after work, meal times don’t go too late but was perfect for us as right around the corner from MSG, where we were attending a concert. We had a little more than an hour and they assured us they would get our meal out. We ordered drinks and our meal - a hamburger ans fries and lobster rolls with salad. I ordered a Margarita marigold, which was delicious! Unfortunately, they were short a cook and the meal took longer than anticipated. It did come at about 7:05 so we figured we could eat quickly and still get there in time. The manager came over to us and apologized that it was so delayed, and comped our entire meal! We were so surprised and appreciative! The food was excellent, delicious two lobster rolls and a great side salad. The burger was cooked perfectly and came with really good fries. We of course left the server a good tip, and we will definitely return to The Landing. Thank you so much, we appreciated the gesture and love the vibe. It’s a cool place.
"This is my favorite please with great options no matter what your dietary needs are. The vegetarian wrap is DE-LICIOUS and their salads and scrumptious, the best part is the staff, every time I go to The Landing, the greeting, the service, the professionalism makes you want to exhale and enjoy the experience. Highly recommend The Landing"
Great place to eat amd get a famcy drink while waiting for a Knicks game
Love this place when I visit the Madison Square Garden for shows - so close , so good and so easy
Food was great I had salmon and it was perfect for business lunch. Will be back…
We had a delicious lunch, the salmon poke was excellent. Emily our server was kind and friendly and we will be back for sure!
Nice spot for after work drinks. Leaning on the classier side. My team from out of town loved it. Great location- Penn Station.
Great food and service! Had the Peri peri chicken and loved it.
Best seasonal pasta I’ve had - elevated version of a rustic pasta and squash dish- could have kept the chicken cutlet (too dry) on top. Table of 7 - everyone loved their dinners
Great restaurant, great location, carefully crafted food, fantastic service! If the music would have been turned down a bit, it would have been 5 stars for the atmosphere.
Excellent food, staff and ambience. A hidden gem near Penn station.
I’ve been working in this building for over half a year now and have never had a bad experience at the landing. The vibes are great for winding down and Jamie is always a friendly face who makes great conversation and always gets the food/drinks out in a timely manner no matter how packed they are. I would definitely recommend stopping by if in the area and ask for Jamie she’s a sweetheart!
Loved it and the stranger who introduced me the Landing. Also thanks for the gift I received when I was at the Landing. Thanks so much
Great pre game ! Cool vibe! Great menu.
Overall, "The Landing" is not just a restaurant; it's an experience. The ambience, service, and cuisine combine to create a memorable evening that you won't soon forget. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for an extraordinary dining experience, "The Landing" in NYC is the place to be. I can't wait to return for another enchanting evening.
Delish, reasonably priced dinner; attentive service; they were sympathetic and accommodating when I had to change my reservation due to my train breaking down on the way there. This is my new go to NYC spot!
Absolutely amazing spot! Bruna & Anna are wonderful. They went above and beyond to ensure excellent service and care. They treat each table like a VIP table, and we had such lovely conversations with them and all of the staff. They are kind and caring and definitely helped make the experience 10 times better. The live music on Thursdays is amazing and makes it feel like a Jazz Club. Overall, it's a great spot for an awesome hangout and a fantastic atmosphere.
One of my favorite places in Midtown! The food is always good and the staff is so lovely. Great place to bring friends or clients!
Great place to stop in after work for a bite and a cocktail or pop in for dinner before a game at MSG! The food is so tasty. You can really tell they use top-notch quality ingredients. The vibe is cozy yet modern. I have a dairy allergy and they are always very accommodating. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Our go to!
This was my first visit to The Landing and SURELY won't be my last. I would rate it 5+ stars on ALL counts! We truly had an excellent experience so kudo's to the staff and the Chefs! Our server Jade did a wonderful job from welcoming us to saying goodbye as we left, she should be commended :)
Santiago was amazing! He recommended the best drinks and the service was phenomenal. Our time here was pleasant. Foods and drinks are 10/10 I definitely recommend it. We will be back. When you come ask come to the bar and ask for Santiago
We had a staff meeting / dinner for 26 in a private area of the restaurant yesterday. A month ago we did not even know of "The Landing", today it is our favorite midtown spot for group events. The service leading up to the event with all of the preparation was so easy and thoroughly handled. Day of event was equally great. All the staff from Management to Servers were amazing. The food and drink also exceeded all of our expectations. If you have a need for a presentation, they have a very large wall mounted TV with excellent connections to laptops. I cannot recommend The Landing enough, they did a great job!!! Thank You!!
I have recommended The Landing many times. It's the perfect restaurant for the Penn Station area. There's nothing like it. Tonight, Mario and the rest of the staff were very pleasant and provided quality service. I look forward to the next time!
First time here, and we were very impressed. Unfortunately they did not have the crab cakes and I wish I was told before trying to order them… but nonetheless the food was great. Halibut was cooked to perfect and the tuna poke bowl is fantastic. I will be coming back for those crab cakes!
Outstanding experience at the Landing. Wonderful location inside Penn 1. My food was incredible and the service was great, even though the restaurant was packed. I was eating by myself over lunch time, and they were able to get me a table after only about a 7 to 10 minute wait. Food was very tasty! I have my laptop with me and they were totally OK with me working at the table once I finished. Get the steak frites- you will not be disappointed.
From first impressions to last tastes, all wonderful. Staff members appear exactly when needed. The menu items satisfy. The environment impresses. This restaurant delivers consistent excellence. This place outperforms established places.
I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here last night. I did not look at the menu or reviews before booking, I needed a last minute meeting place that was near Penn station. The drinks were awesome, service was amazing..and the charcuterie board...HUGE! Great value for money, fun atmosphere. As Arnold says...I'll be back! !
Such a beautiful restaurant in the heart of midtown. It's located on the second level of One Penn and you're greeted with a very nice seating area before you turn into the restaurant. The service was great and the food even better. I had the burrata and piri chicken. Both were divine! I'll be back to try other dishes because this was just great
What am amazing new property at One Penn. Just walking into the building you will be overwhelmed with the lighting, the stairs, and the upstairs huge room length fireplace. It’s worth a visit to just bask in this atmosphere. Now to The Landing, which offers a creative, healthy, and well balanced menu. You have options here from lighter fare to a sumptuous meal. We started with the butternut squash soup, a deep savory flavor with pepitas and kale. This alone would have been a standout for me. We moved on to the chicken with veggie root hash and branzino with broccolini. We finished out the meal with their olive oil cake. Cali was our server. This young lady was extremely personable and assured us that our dietary requests would be honored. Even Chef John came out to check on the dishes which were all presented beautifully. I want to return to try their hummus and their “in house” veggie burger. All the staff were working together to assure the guests were having a wonderful dining experience. Even though this is a very new place, I most definitely felt an old warmth here.
Excellent service! Atenas was amazing and made the experience incredible. What a great crew of people. Will be coming back with friends because of how excellent the staff here was and treated us. World class!
A good experience at The Landing restaurant. My girlfriend and I had an amazing time thanks to the excellent recommendations from Jaciel. The Morning Glory and P.I.T.A. were delicious starters, and my Tuna & Hamachi Poke was perfectly balanced with fresh ingredients. The ambiance was cozy, and the service was impeccable.
The place is very cozy, highly recommended!!! The salmon bowl was exquisite. The service was a little slow, but thanks to Santiago's excellent cocktails, the wait was pleasant.
I held court here for client meetings @ AdWeek 2026 and the staff could not have been more accommodating. From offering to keep me at my same table throughout the day, to remembering my drink order and helping guide clients through the menu - it was fantastic. Excellent for a quick lunch or quiet dinner - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Landing is an absolutely beautiful five star restaurant/bar within the Penn Plaza area that was so badly needed. For many years I'd go to Midtown for that five star type of experience, there is no reason to travel uptown now! Went for the first time tonight and was amazed at how nice this establishment was, I couldn't recommend the Landing highly enough if your looking for that high end type of dining or drink experience in the Penn Plaza area.
This place is awesome. Food is really delicious. We ordered burger and main plate with chicken - it was sooooo good🤤 The vibe here is so comfortable and relaxing! The service here is excellent, I really enjoyed my visit! Guys, thank you so much for such cozy dinner! I was celebrating my birthday today at the Landing and I’m really happy that this special day was with great people!
If you ever find yourself in Manhattan and wondering what to eat for lunch or dinner, I strongly recommend that you try THE LANDING RESTAURANT. This is an exquisite spot that caters for all Food lovers across the spectrum. The Landing Restaurant, is the hidden gem located right on the second floor of Penn 1. It distinctively overlooks 34th Street, with a gaze difficult to ignore. Walk in or make a reservation and The Landing won't disappoint.
This place was a gem. My family and I, a party of 8, needed somewhere to eat right before our concert at MSG. We arrived very under-dressed for a place like this. All eyes were on us but our server Jamie made us feel very welcomed and we loved her. Her hospitality was awesome and work ethic great. She took her time with us. The food and drinks were AMAZING. The Chicken Piri Piri was delicious. I recommend this place to everyone.
Great spot on the second floor for breakfast. It definitely a spot for those who know it is there ie business people in the area vs tourists. It was quiet and relaxed at breakfast time. Great coffee and the staff was so attentive and kind. They have gluten free bread and can ensure meals are gluten free. I'd recommend it and will visit again.
Great atmosphere, nice cocktails, good food options and the menu is not too busy. I had the Morning Glory cocktail - awesome! And the veggie wrap and fries, which was fab. Nice lively atmosphere and right next to the MSG so perfect for a pre-game meal.
Great experience. Loved the bar scene especially. Bartenders were great mixologists as well as conversationalist. It was an experience. And it is tucked away in the MSG complex. Worth the extra effort to find it.
Went to a fantastic bar / lounge near MSG / Penn Station / Herald's Square today. It's called the Landing in 1 Penn Plaza, Manhattan, NYC. Second floor. Live music / DJ, no cover, and fantastic drinks and service. Cocktails run about $18 a pop. Upscale. Huge lounge area with big screens frequently with sports content. Comfortable seating and even areas to sit down with a laptop and take calls / meetings. Great area to chill while waiting for an event or train. Meet up place for friends or business. Bathrooms are unisex and super clean. I'll take photos next time. It's a hidden gem. Thank me later folks.
The Landing . One of my favorite places to eat. Santiago is a great asset to this restaurant. I come here often and when he sees me he always greets me and provides the best customer service.
I went yesterday after my friend recommended this restaurant and I can see why. Our waitress, Daniela, was so attentive and kept checking in on us. She suggested the special sushi and it was so delicious ! We also had the chance to try the fall sangria and golden cocktails which were also great. The vibe was nice and Daniela made our experience memorable. We’ll definitely come back !
We had an absolutely wonderful time celebrating here, and the atmosphere and menu variety make this a must-visit. The kitchen and bar both hit high notes, delivering an elevated yet comfortable dining experience!! Menu highlights: Cavatelli Bolognese, charcuterie board, FRENCH DIP, STEAK FRITES, and i think we got Thursday special which was Steak Burrito as i believed that was really good too, For the cocktail: Try Morning Glory ✨
Went with my family as we visited the city this past summer just for a family trip. We randomly just picked a place with good reviews. However, we were blown out the WATER! The chef was so amazing! And the seasonal menu was so great! That hummus and starter that were out of this world! The main entrees were to die for! From the starters to the main menu every single thing impressed me.The seasoning and the way everything infused together was wonderful. It wasn’t just eating it was an experience!
I wasn't planning to eat at The Landing from the beginning. After searching and this restaurant quite interesting so I give a chance to try. I came a bit early lunch time so when I got there was no customer. The host asked me if I wanted to get a table, but I just want to chill out and enjoy some snack, so I prefer to sit at the bar. The bartender was friendly and nice conversation. I had a little Gem Salad and a glass on Passion Elixir. It was a yummy snack. The place got busy during the time. I was glad I went early. They told me they close on weekend, that make sense because the area mostly office.
Amazing place. The service was spectacular, the servers were very kind and nice, they knew very well about the menu, and their recommendations were perfect. The bartenders made us incredible cocktails, everything was made by them and fresh. The peach margarita was amazing. The food was incredibly tasty, and delicious. Every plate was just amazing. Definitely One of the best restaurants in New York.
Great spot! It does get very busy around Happy hour and service is sometimes slow. I love the decor, staff is always friendly. It is Manhattan pricey but worth it to me for an upscale bar experience.
This was my first time at the Landing and was for a lunch, business meeting with people I had not met. Upon entering the 1 Penn Plaza building, if you're coming from 33rd, walk through the doors, pass the elevators to wide staircase on right. If from 34th, bang a left as soon as you're inside and up the stairs. Note, there's a bit of a strange "landing" area at the top of the stairs to the right, almost like bleachers for people to squat, have lunch or a chat. I wasn't sure where to go. Continue straight and up more stairs to the left. You'll enter at the bar and hostess on left. Now that you've arrived, your first impression will most likely be "wow, this is nice!" It was lunch on the early side so no one was at the bar, but it is long with many seats and is beautiful. The Landings provides the perfect pscale environment for lunch - which is a nice change from two floors below streetside. Note: The area south of 1 Penn and the MSG complex is dirty with many homeless, seemingly drugged out people. Sad and slightly uncomfortable as you traverse these realities to the big black building that is 1 Penn. The service was quick, thoughtful (our waitress made recommendations e.g. "the tuna poke is the most popular, but I like the salmon bowl better." And, the Salmon was less expensive. It's always a nice surprise when the service team doesn't automatically upsell. Our colleague had the gem salad with chicken which looked nicely presented and he ate most of it so assuming it was pretty good. The salmon poke (definitely order the rice with it) was good, not a huge portion so perfect for a light lunch. It was accompanied by whole tortilla chips (seem to be home made - note; the pic is a stock picture and the tortilla is no longer in strips, they're triangular chips which work nicely as scoops). The seaweed or whatever the stringy gelatinous thingies were, was good but a little fishy tasting. We had water and ice teas as it was a biz lunch. I'll definitely be back for cocktails. In terms higher end places for lunch/dinner in the area, this and Bar Primi are pretty much it and at the top of the list. Blue Ribbon sushi is also on the main floor of 1 Penn. I have not been there yet. Enjoy!
This place caters to business lunch meals, I assume located in Penn plaza. Upscale casual, variety of food on the menu and friendly staff. Prices are a bit expensive, the quality of food is very good though. I enjoyed my lunch! I had the salmon poke bowl and it was very filling. The salmon was fresh and I enjoyed the crunch of the wontons with it. I didn’t want the extra starch but should have gotten the added rice for $3 as there was a lot of extra sauce on the plate. There was too much sauce without rice. the burrata appetizer was good as well. I liked the balsamic and strawberries with it and the pork as well. The hummus was okay, it was more chunky than I expected. Convenient location for work lunch meetings!
Our drinks were perfectly mixed- so delicious. 3 of the 4 of our dishes were great. The French dip sandwich was so tender. The salmon entree was perfectly cooked and the sauce was amazing. The steak with the steak frites was very good. The lobster roll was kind of lackluster and was also a little chewy- would not get it again. The location and atmosphere of this place is great, would definitely come back for a drink and to walk around the open lounge area. The service was excellent- our waitress was very nice as well.
Not Non-binary Friendly: Two different employees misgendered my partner. Why why why does a restaurant in this day and age in a huge city need to call people "sir" and "ma'am"? Ugh!! Step into the modern age please!! On the bright side, they had good all-gender bathrooms. Other than that, the food was great, the decor was cool, but it was so loud that it was hard to have a conversation.
What made this place was the wonderful staff who work there - from the wonderful Maitre D' , who was a little hard to find in the after work throng drinking around the bar, to our most attentive, gregarious and friendly waiter, Nelson, and a kind and helpful gentleman from the kitchen, who brought our dishes to the table. The menu was parsed down to a few selections as they are experiencing a temporary issue with their gas burners. The appetizers we had were amazing - I highly recommend the shrimp cocktail and the hummus plate. Our main courses came before we finished our appetizers, which made us feel a little rushed. I ordered the salmon as a main, which was meant to be cooked medium, but was well done and served skin up, which emitted a strong odor. It came with an abundance of choron sauce (Bearnaise sauce with tomato) and a side of fingerling potatoes. It was good, but I would have preferred if the salmon had been served skin down and with a livelier and zestier sauce. Thankfully, I held on to the sauces from the shrimp appetizer as both were excellent. A colorful vegetable would have added more life to the plate alongside the tasty potatoes. One issue with this restaurant is that it was way too loud due to there being a DJ spinning club music to an after work drinking crowd. A crowd that crowded en masse around the bar and spilled out onto an indoor patio type area - a landing! For someone with a disability it was hard to navigate the rambunctious crowd, locate the maitre d' station, and get seated. The DJ stopped spinning at 8 p.m., which was when we were leaving. So I recommend going there after 8 if you would like a less club-like experience. Another issue was getting upstairs with a disability requires one to talk to security downstairs to get you on an elevator. However, when you leave, there is no way to get on an elevator as it requires a security key to access the elevator bank.
Tasty food (beet hummus and salads were highlights), cool atmosphere in PENN1, but service was average/slow. Okay for a casual bite.
Well worth a visit the service was great, and we didn't have to wait too long for a table. Will absolutely go back the next time, There wasn't a bite left on either plate.
***3 1/2 stars*** I've been to The Landing a few times now, primarily for drinks after work and once for a sit-down lunch. I've never had a bad experience here, but there's also nothing about this place that really pops or blows me away. Not necessarily a negative, and arguably it's good enough. The best part about The Landing is the location/convenience. I work in the building at Penn1, so this is literally just downstairs - if you're an office tenant, you can just take the elevator to the second floor "social stairs" area and walk over to it without even navigating the lobby traffic. I get the impression most of the clientele here is in the same boat as I am, which makes sense - if you're just walking by on the street, the signage isn't particularly prominent and your eyes are probably going to get drawn to something else anyway. It's usually packed here after work (probably other people in the building with the same idea), but they let you hang out on the social stairs outside of the restaurant and utilize their services from there. Their staff just walks around taking and providing orders. Very cool, and a smart way on their end to maximize business. I was most recently here this past Thursday evening for my department happy hour (everything tastes better on the company card). Despite an attempt around 4:30pm to grab a table, nothing was available so off to the steps we went, happy hour menu in hand. I ordered an Old Fashioned with Angel's Envy (my favorite bourbon, which thankfully has always been here when I've asked for it), and requested the Crispy Rice app, which is their version of tuna tartare with copious amounts of avocado and a few pieces of crispy rice to dip or eat off of. The Old Fashioneds are decent here and pretty straight-forward. There's an argument that for me all Old Fashioneds are graded on a curve if they have the Angel's Envy, but it was well made nonetheless. Maybe a TOUCH heavy on the bourbon but I'm nitpicking. The Crispy Rice is always a good time as well - I think they could benefit from including twice as many pieces of the crispy rice, which disappears almost instantly, leaving a large pile of the tuna tartare to play around with, but it is what it is. The fish and avocado are fresh, and that to me is the basic requirement of the dish. The service is usually pretty decent here. By definition, I think it's almost impossible to maintain a truly excellent level of hospitality during the time of the day/night when your staff has to be stretched very thin across half the second floor of the building basically, but it could be worse. A few times we were all looking around for a waitress to order additional drinks/apps but it was never an egregious amount of time and arguably inevitable with the setup. We had a few people assisting us, and I appreciated the fact that one of the waitresses (after receiving an app order technically after happy hour ended) told us the price was no longer applicable but that she didn't let us know ahead of time, so she was going to try to ensure we still got the deal. Classy and a pretty easy win for them. The Landing really benefits from the location in two ways - one is the aforementioned convenience factor if you're already in the building, but two is that you can avoid going outside and dealing with arguably the worst neighborhood in NYC. If that's not a win, I don't know what is.
Service was disappointing. I ordered sweet tea, but it came unsweetened with a side of sugar—anyone who drinks sweet tea knows that’s not the same and really ruins it. The food itself was good, but definitely overpriced (though that’s typical for NYC). Overall, this place seems more suited for business meetings than for tourists looking to enjoy a relaxed meal.
I was thrilled to discover this hip yet chic restaurant in Midtown, perfect for work lunches. I've visited The Landing four times, and the food is truly amazing. I particularly love their Niçoise salad with fresh seared tuna, chicken paillard, and shrimp cocktails. My top picks. On my latest visit, I brought my VP to celebrate her birthday. The team's gesture of delivering a handwritten birthday card to the table was a lovely touch. Unfortunately, the service for the remainder of our visit was lacking. Our server checked on us infrequently, and appetizer plates lingered at the table until midway through our main course. Dessert options were disappointing; the daily special (tres leches) was unavailable, and the remaining choices were underwhelming. There were no decaf options, and my espresso arrived in an oversized cup with a watery consistency. The port was served in a random glass, which was unexpected. These service issues left a sour note despite the excellent food.
Good ambiance but poor service and ultimately they care more about presentation than taste. The ribeye was not tender, and I knew they didn’t treat their steak seriously as no steak knife was served. The various chicken dishes were alright, nothing special and was a little dry and flavorless without adding sauces everywhere. The fries were great at least.
"Started off strong initially. Food was good The portion of our party of 5 who drank alcohol they were attentive to refill but the child and adult drinking water not all all… we sat there for over 20 minutes without water or refill. Once dinner was served not sure we ever saw him until he wanted to know about dessert and again no attention to water refill. We were getting a free dessert so we ordered one thinking that was the free one but no he charged us and brought us another one so we had two and didn’t eat them. We felt like he was trying to increase the bill for a bigger tip.. FYI water drinkers will tip well if they have water in their glass!
This place is nice and shiny and the staff are better than a Lot of other places. Very friendly and quick! Couldn't have asked for better. I was disappointed with the food though. I had the hummus and the crispy chicken paillard. Neither had any flavor and the chicken was pretty dry. No salt or pepper on the table and it could have helped a little. White bean hummus had almost no flavor. Texture was great and it looked great. Had three margaritas which were really good. Overall, I'd say it's a great place for drinks but I wouldn't eat here again. You're in NYC, do better.
If I could rate this place zero stars I would. The hostess with the blonde hair made us wait a very long time to get seated, and when we asked for a table preference, she couldn’t give it to us even though the half the place is empty. Being treated like an inconvenience just because we're brown, racist much.
The Landing is mid. If you are a vegetarian or vegan, the options are very slim. It is 2025 and I don't know why restaurants are not catering more to this growing demographic of diners. The service can be quite slow and the food takes a while to come out. It is usually crowded around lunchtime with various office groups dining here. This restaurant is nothing special and there are other options around that are better, and who cater to all diet types.
Was here for an event recently. The bartenders and servers were incredible, but one of the actual building staff members (I believe his name was Armado ?) was incredibly rude. He claimed to be a "manager" but I highly doubt an establishment of this level allows an unprofessional like him to be in a position of power. We witnessed him speak in a condescending manner to some of the event staff and cut us off mid conversation when we were simply asking questions. Will never ever return to this restaurant again while he is a "manager".
I used to love coming here. I brought two friends with me yesterday and was looking forward to a most unique dish. However, the menu had changed, and we can no longer get the chicken Piri Piri. I raved about that dish to my friends and we were all looking forward. I asked the waitress if they could still make it and she said unfortunately not. we each had something different but I can’t say that any of the dishes were as good as the Piri Piri. It was unique! I wished it was still available if requested. Don’t think I’ll be coming back.
Food and drinks were fine. The experience, however, was ruined, by the waiter shaming us into providing an 18% tip, instead of a 20% tip. (both were options displayed on the card reader, mind you) After paying the bill, he stared at us and then said: "Is this your first time here?" "Yes" "Are you residents in the building?" "No" He then condescendingly said "Ah, that makes sense". Unprofessional and petty behaviour.
