I absolutely love this warm piece of Cuba here in the DMV. I love the atmosphere. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Shoutout to Alex for serving my husband and I. He was knowledgeable of the menu and his recommendations did not disappoint. Date night ready. Parking is minimal but I always manage to find great parking. The bar tenders were very welcoming and made some of the best, creative, and inspiring drinks. Lenas has not disappointed me of all the times I've dined here. So Thank you Lenas

So this not just a casual pizza place, this is date night, girls night, photo ready place to be. Ladies don’t wear jeans and leggings but show all out to be picture perfect for the photos you are about to take. It’s not just Italian food, there is Hispanic food too! I want to say El SalvadorIan food too. Food was amazing. Finger licking appetizers, dinner was filling and drinks - let’s just say they don’t hold back. Shout to the waiter Jose! He was attentive to everyone at the table. He made sure we selected good food and drinks. It is pricey but well worth it!

I had dinner at the loft at Lena's (Havana Club) and the atmosphere was really nice although somewhat dark. I liked that I could still order off of the regular menu. I ordered pizza, salad, and a couple drinks which were all good.

The Loft at Lena's is awesome. The atmosphere is a 10 out of 10 for sure!!! The Ribeye stake was extremely good (probably top 30 i have ever had). I will be back to have it again! The garlic bread was awesome too, I did not want to share it. The Gnocchi is light and has great flavor, but the sauce for them was a little salty by itself. Our pizzas were a little underwhelming, like maybe they needed to be cooked a little longer? The only negative I would say is it seemed like our waitress was having an off night; really seemed like we were bothering her to be there. . . We will be a costumers again though.

July 2025 Came back to Lena's to try their firewood pizza - EXCELLENT Garlic bread Ceasar salad - so so good. Margerita was excellent, we loved the food and the great service. Rasberry lemonade was delicious on this 100 degree day in DC! We enjoyed Havana 151 at the loft at Lena's. ... wonderful atmosphere... the Brazilian band was such a nice touch 🎵🎵🎵appetizers were fantastic! Guac delicious - mango salsa - soooo yummy. My niece loved the beef tacos! My ceviche was just ok... lacked flavor. Sweet plantains were were a bit on the dry side for me. Cinnamon apple donuts were a little burnt. My sister had the farro bowl and said it was okay. Drinks were delicious. Would Def. Comeback to try Italian.

This was a pick up for carry out. We love the pizza. The Diavola is our favorite. The anniversary sale lured us back because the price had gotten high as most places have, but we used to go there several times a week.

Fantastic atmosphere inside with some amazing drinks! Also tried the mozzarella sticks and garlic bread which were great (happy hour menu). Will definitely return! It’s located above Lena’s with the entrance in the back. Very expansive space inside with bar seating, high tops, and many big tables.

Beautiful place and great tasting food! We went there for a birthday celebration, the place was not too crowded due to it being midweek during lunch. All the dishes we tried were good, calamari, Margherita pizza and Mushroom pasta. The tiramisu was excellent! They have a dedicated parking area. Overall, it was a great experience. We can't wait to go back for dinner next time. They have a special menu during dinner featuring Cuban dishes . They have vegetarian options available.

Visited for the first time and loved it! I am an Alexandria native of 41 years and have driven past multiple times but never tried it out. The service, food, and atmosphere were great!! Our server Daniel was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. The staff that greeted us throughout were very nice as well! We enjoyed the Chicken Calabrese Pizza, Sliced Sausage Pizza, Garlic Parmesan Wings, and Crab Dip. The Strawberry Lemonade was good too. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Dog friendly restaurant with the cutest dog menu and kindest servers. My dog loved the little doggy menu and the artichoke dip was *chefs kiss*. The server was so kind and I was there at a strange time of day but I can see how nice this place is early evening

Omg yesssss! The atmosphere was dark and beautiful. The outside patio was beautifully decorated for christmas. The food was fire and the drinks were STRONG. CHEERS!

We recently visited for Pi day and ordered ourselves a delicious sausage and peppers pizza. We also ordered the grilled Caesar salad which is a large crunchy romaine lettuce heart with delicious toppings. As always, the service is wonderful and the food is great. To be clear, I am talking exclusively about the lower level restaurant (The second level restaurant is a bit of a different story but I won't go into that. Negative reviews aren't my thing). We have been coming here for years and it's always a great time. Especially for the happy hour food specials. I highly recommend you sit at the bar and watch them make the pizzas! It's a perfect place for taking a date or having after work drinks and food with your friends.

Food was good, pizza was great, and the drinks were amazing. Highly recommend the first cocktail for 2 in the Cuban menu.

T
Tamara Gibbs Franklin

Wow! This decor makes diners feel like they’ve bern transported to Cuba. The food is excellent (highly recommend the shaved brussel sprout salad with steak!). The cocktails are crafted to perfection. Excellent service!

S
Steph Fischbeck

While they cannot guarantee safety for cross contamination, their gluten free pizza was delicious!

A

Havana 51 exceeded my expectations! The ambiance, food, and music transported me to a unique experience. Katie, our server, added warmth with her friendly demeanor and a touch of personalized service, offering a unique salad presentation. The Shirley Temple was the best I’ve ever had. My friend and I enjoyed ourselves very much making our reunion truly memorable. Can't wait to return!

We went to the above location, Havana 151. The food was phenomenal. I loved the whipped feta appetizer beyond words can express. The atmosphere/location was a one of kind type of place and worth every second experiencing this. The service was lacking as we were our server's only table and she kept forgetting about us. We spoke to the manager, John, who was professionally, understanding, and sympathetic to the extent of the issues. He is the only reason I gave 5 stars, because this really put a damper on our meal until we spoke to him. Highly recommend this place it is a really really cool experience and worthwhile.

Havana 151 was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Just unreal ambiance. The decor was over the top cool. I got the seafood paella, loaded with seafood, rice was cooked just right. Wife got the best Ropa Vieja I have ever had and I Iived in South Florida!! My daughter got the kids steak and fried yucca, and every bite was delicious. Just so spot on. My pineapple mojito was also superb. Our server Nick was the best.

Dined here for Sunday brunch twice and enjoyed both times. The mixed drinks were decent but the food is excellent. My favorite is the grilled Caesar salad. The calamari does include fried peppers, which is just filler cause it always goes to waste. The decor and ambiance are very sophisticated and classy. On my birthday they allowed me to choose any dessert item so that was a nice touch. I’d certainly come back and recommend. However, be warned that parking here is horrendous.

Lena’s is absolutely beautiful inside! We love the Velvet and Rye lounge. The food is also delicious- their pizzas and pasta are highly recommended by me. On Wednesdays they have half price bottles of wine! (Just make sure your waitress remembers to discount it on the bill.) Both times I’ve gone, the service is a little bit slow- but overall it’s a fun and nice place for dinner and groups if you are not in a rush.

Wow I am so glad I came in here on Christmas Eve. I was debating between a few local places and I made the right choice. First I had a couple beautiful, delicious cocktails downstairs from Edwin, then I made my way upstairs to Velvet and Rye and the decor is stunning! Had the burrata salad which was flavorful and beautiful, cocktails, lemon cake, everything phenomenal. Edwin greeted me as I entered and gave me fantastic recommendations and told me about upstairs which I didn’t know about. Greg gave great recommendations and service as well. I was expecting a quiet calm night, I did not expect such extravagance and excellence. Thank you Lena’s.

A trip to Havana, no passport needed! This is a review of the upstairs dining room(s) at Lena's, currently (and hopefully forever) decorated and furnished as an elegant Cuban supper club called Havana 151. We ordered from Lena's extensive lunch menu (which is also available upstairs). Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. Our server, Katie, was engaging and knowledgeable. We will be back for lunch (on Wednesdays, when Katie is on duty), and for dinner, when they have Havana-influenced specials. Highly recommend.

During my road trip to USA coming from Canada, it was a very good surprise for the quality of food. Those pizzas are made by a Brazilian cookers and taste AMAZING! Much more tasty than US typical pizzas. Attention! Parking lots are limited, and could be a problem if there's no place.

D
Derrick Khosrofian

Great quality cheese and prosciutto. Chicken parm was phenomenal. Pizza was great too, but the meatball topping was just alright. Slightly pricey and I thought I was in DC when I got the check, however I will be coming back for sure

Visited Lena’s for Valentine’s Day and I’m so glad we did! From the music to the food everything was perfect. The ambiance at the Velvet lounge is really beautiful. I wish their waiting area was a little bigger and I wish the velvet couches were a little more firm. Other than that everything is top notch. Parking is really easy as they have an attendant guiding you. Will definitely come back!

We ordered food for delivery… a LOT of food… on CHRISTMAS! And Lena’s delivered! Every one of the four pizzas was delicious; the crab dip was way more tasty than expected with a more-than-generous portion of bread; and the grilled calamari was amazingly tender! Can I also add that the Caesar salads were actually crisp and had enough toppings that we could dredge the crab dip through it (which I highly recommend!)? We were so pleased sharing Lena’s food with our extended family that my husband and I decided their menu would become a regular order-in date night for us! Can’t wait to try everything else they have!

A
Anthony R. Harris Jr,

Had the pleasure of dining in at Havana 151 @ Lena's Wood-Fired Pizza & Grill on the second floor for my daughter's birthday. Tik-Tok finally got it right! When you first walk in, the first thing you notice is the ambiance. It's is full of a classic Cuban style. Greenery and architecture in every corner, vintage tables, a large bar that fits the decor 👌🏿. We started off with the mussels in white wine sauce. Delicious! For entree, I had the half chicken, black beans and rice with plantains. Awesome! The server was on point with everything, very attentive. The only desire is for the waiting staff to be more exciting, inviting and upbeat. I also wish there was a little more to the birthday festivities. There was just a dessert, no singing or excitement. Very pleasant experience. Will be back, and WILL definitely recommend.

A
Adam N

Flavor! You will find that here. But you will also find a price tag that may cause you to bat an eye. Usually at these prices I get a larger serving of chicken parm or at least pasta With that said you will enjoy the food and the atmosphere is pretty cool.

Great place for wood fire pizza at ground level. I gave it a 4 because it's winter and the place lacks heat from so many doors. We had to keep our coats on even though we sat close to the oven in attempts to stay warm. The real treat was on their upstairs level called Havana 151. I'll be back to experience their "Latin music and dance" on Thursday nights!! In the meantime I'll be sure to book a table and impress my friends with this newly found Eden!

Lena's brickoven pizza was a great place to sit down and enjoy the surroundings whether you eat outside or in-house!! The food was very fresh and everything was prepared with excellence ✨️ see you guys soon !

Disclaimer: expectations were high and we arrived at the worst possible time for a pizza place cutting corners on Neapolitan pizza. I also hate leaving anything other then 5 stars, but your messing with a passion when you say “Neapolitan Pizza”. This place has all the pieces for the ultimate experience. It’s a great atmosphere, they seem to have great ingredients, style, however their claim for a true Neapolitan pizza falls short on several markers. At the top of the list the dough is flat, soft, and not much flavor. That’s NOT a Neapolitan pizza! I would expect more time and it would have been worlds different then when we walked in at opening hour. The chef should know better than to cut, pull, round and serve a pizza that fast, and if they don’t they need a new pizza chef. I hope to revisit and change this review.

The place is uniquely designed which I think is the main attraction here. The food was okay, I would say the price of the food does not match the quality and taste of it. It’s over priced in other words. The pizza was tasty. Fun place to try.

A

This place is definitely all about the aesthetic. It's so pretty. The staff is friendly. The food is good. Prices are a little high for what the food is but given the style and vibe it makes sense. Wine selection was good. They had a Cuban style menu that I didn't see online in addition to the Italian one.

We ordered a half pizza mushroom and half margherita, with a pesto base. Fan-tastic! Also had the meat pizza and were big fans. The cannoli was filled fresh and it was crispy. The only thing disappointing about the meal was the tiramisu. It was just bland. Next time, I’ll try the crème brûlée. We ordered delivery and the driver was fast and had great attention to detail. Thx for a tasty dinner!

The aesthetics of this location is beautiful. But the service is slow and the food is Mid .It was nothing spectacular. Do not order the crab dip! It’s pasty and there’s no old-bay seasoning in it. I barely taste crab. The bread that came with the order was hard as a rock . I had to replace it with the salsa and guacamole, which was really good. I ordered the Mojo rotisserie chicken. I rate it a 7/10 . Also just a sidenote 20% gratuity is included for a group of five or more. I didn’t order liquor, but I had the homemade raspberry lemonade excellent! The place is a good vibe for a nice photo op.

Two beers late doesn’t beat one beer on time. Got seated promptly ordered a beer and pizza, finished the first beer before the pizza arrived. Went to bar to ask for a beer to drink while eating pizza. Pizza arrives I had ate half before beer arrives (then they brought me two as an apology) Then had to go to staff to ask for check. Pizza was very good love the pepperoni.

Food was decent, nothing to write home about. I got the Maui pizza, a friend got chicken Parm which they didn't love. I wouldn't go back most likely, not that it was a bad experience but it just didn't impress. Also, funny to us but not our friend, the sun was shining in his face the entire meal.

M

Dining here was okay, but not mind-blowing. The food was decent and came out pretty fast, which we loved. Our server was attentive and friendly. We did encounter an issue with our reservation that resulted in a bit of back and forth, but was resolved fairly quick. Towards the end of our dinner, we saw a mouse wandering around under a table nearby. We let our server and the manager know, but they didn’t seem to care about it. We were told that the door is constantly being opened and it probably ran in, but it seemed pretty comfortable coming out for food scraps while people were around. Overall, decent food, decent quantity for the price, but probably won’t be back.

A
Ari Runkle

Went here and got me and my girlfriends usual calamari appetizer, was disappointed that it’s barely any octopus, and mostly fried peppers. Also, much of the menu cost has increased while portion sizes have shrunk. While our server was super nice, we had to wait a while to both place our entrees, and get the check. Don’t worry, the food is still great, just not the most value for your money and the restaurant as a whole defenitly has gone down in quality in the past year since I’ve been a regular.

L
Ladonna Abdullah

I had a craving for some good pizza so I decided to give Lena's a try! The delivery took an extremely long time. The website wasn't the easiest to navigate BUT when I called the restaurant the manager made the adjustment and said he would credit my card. The pizza was a bit salty and burned; so not quite the experience I was looking for.

A
Andrea

Come for the ambiance — the food, not so much. This place claims to specialize in both Italian and Cuban cuisine (still trying to figure that one out). They had two separate menus as well. If I ever return, it’ll be strictly for the pizza.

A
Ada Biesma

We ate upstairs at the Havana 151. Out of 7 people only two ate their food. Lasagna was very greasy, Paella was watery and tasteless, chicken parmigiana was dry inside. Ropa Vieja and Hangar steak were good. Server was slow and didn’t make much effort. Nobody refilled our water. They also add the tip before the taxes and you end up having to tip on the tax. Not fair that in my case it cost me $9.00 more dollars. The place is nicely decorated. Cocktails were good. Limited latin american options. We were told they had no beans so the dish that was to have the rice and beans was not available. Poor service and terrible food. Good for a cocktail only

Could be an amazing place but tonight I went for the first time to celebrate a friend's birthday. The waiter was rarely around, he brought the salt and pepper shakers at the end of the meal, the table next to us went searching on their own to find shakers, the salad we ordered with dinner came out about 10 minutes after the main course. To close out we had to find another waitress. Perhaps it was because it was Monday and their good staff was off, or maybe it was his first day on the job. I will go back again and this time eat at the bar.

R
Ralph Espinosa

Service was fine. Atmosphere is also great above average but I will say the pizza that we have di carne and the lasagna was both very salty. I'm sure they use the same sauce for the pizza and the lasagna was really looking forward to this place being good. Hopefully if we ever come back next time it's not That salty

D
Daniel Correia

Granted, this was Valentine's day. But we waited about an hour and a half for our food. Got no water refills after asking, saw our waitress for a maximum of 45 seconds. The burger was fantastic though so🤷🏿‍♂️

J
Josem Diaz

First, we walk in and we are told the establishment is sold out by the manager and they didn't even check for us telling us that they couldn't seat us. We walk outside and we made a reservation immediately within 30 minutes via the open table app. Second, when we got seated they told us we couldn't order from a regular menu after we confirmed in the front what the menu options were. Third, and the most frustrating one. I order wine and it was obvious the wine bottle had been opened for longer than a day and I requested a newer bottle - the waitress mentioned "they never do that , and that they have to use the older opened bottles" - I suggested they revisit that ridiculous policy. Place would be better if you could smoke cigars outside.

L
Luis Flores

Paid almost $20 for the worst excuse of a personal margherita pizza. I could look past the fact that they put fresh tomatoes on top, which doesn't traditionally go on a Margarita pizza, but the crust was also burnt and bitter and the tomato sauce was completely flavorless. The nerve this place has to charge as much as they do for such a simple pizza and not even execute it well is astonishing. Suffice to say I will not be returning.

A
Akira Chavez

We visited for a birthday with friends. Even though we’re young, we were respectful and patient. The restaurant wasn’t busy, but our server barely came back to the table and we received very little service. All of us have waitressing experience and understand how busy things can get hard days but it was a bit insane we absolutely would have tipped 20% as I said most of us all have old experience. I usually only write positive reviews, but this experience was disappointing.

E
E Passaro

It was supposed to be the best Pizza in Virginia... We ordered soup, came without a spoon.... after 10 minutes of waiting they came back with it. The barman was in a bad day and the "happy hour" was not honored that day. ... The waiter can hardly speak english and it took for ever to get serviced. The food came at different times and order and the Pizza WAS COLD AND SAGGY. Don t waist your money...

Stephon Heyer

So I went yesterday, 2.14.26, for my Valentine's Day dinner with my special someone. I had booked this reservation three months in advance, so I had plenty of options of restaurants to choose from. I wanted to give this restaurant a shot. We came in and sat down immediately. We didn't see the waitress for at least 15 minutes for water or to ask if we would like appetizers. We ordered appetizers, which were the jumbo prawns and spinach artichoke dip. The shrimp was good, but the dip was underwhelming, to say the least. After dropping off the appetizers, our waitress didn't show up again for 20 minutes or more to check in on us. When she did come back, we expressed our displeasure that she hadn't checked in on us because we needed additional items like napkins and refills. She then took our entrée order without writing any of the order down. THIS ABOVE ALL IS UPSETTING TO ME PERSONALLY. After taking the order, she proceeds to go to a table and begins a long-winded chit-chat with the table for 15 to 20 minutes. My date and I assumed that she must have known the couple because she would talk to them on and off for long periods throughout the night. Our food came out, and both of our cream sauce pasta dishes lacked flavor. She also forgot the pizza we ordered because, again, SHE DIDN'T WRITE OUR ORDER DOWN! I wanted table salt and pepper too, but once again, the waitress was nowhere to be found after our meal was delivered to the table. We didn't even tell her that she forgot the pizza order because I don't think she would have remembered that we ordered it in the first place. At this point, even if we had asked again for the additional entrée, I had seen enough of both the service and the food that we were ready to leave. I honestly don't leave many reviews because, honestly, why bother? This one had to be done because it was my first Valentine's Day with the woman I'm dating. I made up for the rest of the day with what I had planned, but this was our first stop of the evening, and I felt like Lena's ruined our dining experience that night on a special occasion. I will not be coming back. If anyone does decide to go to Lena's, be prepared for long service times and Panera/Noodles and Co-style culinary experience which in my opinion isn't worth the price.
