My server was extremely kind and attentive. As a veteran, I appreciated the service and kindness and Veteran Day free meal on Nov 11, 2025.
Parking is next to the movie theater (Free) Food and service were great. The wonton tacos were good. The burger and steak was well cooked. The happy hour drinks were ok. Plenty of t.vs to watch a game. All In all a good meal for a good price. Not busy on a Friday night.
It was crowded and they sat us down in Les than 30 mins. Our waiter was Brandon he was nice, cute, and checked on us a lot. The food was very good nice and hot and well seasoned we had the chicken and sausage bourbon($11.99)the shrimp and sausage bourbon($11.99)the baby back ribs with fries w/onion rings ($26.99)and my grandson had the Mac and cheese and I was very surprised that he loved the fresh strawberries and vanilla yogurt, ($7.49)we are all pleased with our food and the drink with the pop rocks was great!($3.99) we spent $75.00 all together
Came here to eat with my son. We ordered the $25 special. He had the cheeseburger, I ordered the 6oz steak. I requested it to be cooked medium well. I sliced it and it was real rare. Like REAL rare, blood oozing and all.. I read through recent reviews and others have had a rare steak issues as well. Maybe the Cook just doesn’t know how to cook steak. 🥩🤷🏼♀️. I didn’t eat it, even after the 1st attempt to recook it. It still came back rare. What turned it around was my server Felicia, she took it upon herself to speak with her Manager to make sure I was taken care of. I didn’t expect for her to do that, and for that, they deserves the 5 star!! All about the Customer Service! Felicia totally flipped my dining experience into a positive one!
We brought the pooch with us to dinner, so we sat in the patio, which was nice and quiet and away from the busy inside. And even though we were the only ones sitting outside, our server was very attentive. I was pleasantly surprised with the new chicken tortilla soup. It has so much more flavor and veggies than before. It's so good, but the portion is smaller than I remember. The Bourbon chicken and shrimp were also very tasty and well seasoned. The steak was good, not dry, just a bit overcooked. I always like ordering side veggies, but here I am not a fan of their sides as these are frozen, not fresh; meaning the garlic green beans and steamed broccoli. All in all, it's a good neighborhood restaurant where you come for a quick bite or to enjoy a game or the happy hour drinks and specials and you already know what to expect which is not a bad thing.
Went for the all you can eat, and I sure did! The food is comes out hot and fresh everytime. The restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. There was a tablet for my 5 year old to play games on also which made our meal all that much easier.
Liked the experience, didnt have to wait to be seated.
Definitely hands down the best restaurant, food is fresh and on point, and the Staff is absolutely fantastic Evette the GM is such a sweetheart and a fantastic leader! They are all so attentive thank you all so much for making our lunch experience a great one. We'll definitely be back soon!
Had a wonderful time at this Applebee's, I really enjoyed the food I ordered, it was a pasta fettuccine Alfredo. The service was great, we had a big party upward of 10, didn't wait to long, food came right out the server did a great job keeping the drinks filled. Also the split the check perfectly, the system they use to do this worked great. Absolutely would recommend this Applebee's
As a regular the food here never disappoints. What's more, just 2 days ago a waiter I never saw named David really impressed me with his professionalism as a waiter. He was being super attentive and engaged without making customers feel uncomfortable. It's really above and beyond. Shout out David!
Best ahi tuna sandwich I have had at any Habit location. Tuna done perfectly, a little rare, so it was tender. Other locations have been overdone, making it tough. Pleasant service.
I used to get the burgers and sandwich but they seem to have way too much oil on the buns so I finally tried one of their salads since I need to start eating better. It was actually pretty good. The sweet potato fries are really good.
***They changed it so that you have 1 hr to use your coupon, so if you mess up, you have 1 hr to fix your order. Burgers (about $7.50 with no cheese) are a little better than In 'n Out, but without the sauce. They can be salty so I ask for easy on the seasoning. The real winner here is actually the tempura beans. They are to die for, but pricey for $4.79. The specialty drinks are also really good. Meals with a la carte items can be $15+. I recommend getting the app to tap into deals. I recommend using your apps/coupons at the register. I messed up a couple of times at the kiosk and lost my coupon use.🍔
Great food for a good price. Always clean store, friendly staff. Bathroom was clean. My chicken BLT was delicious!
I had a veggie burger with cheese and avocado (bunless), and it was great! It came with a side salad and fries, and the whole meal was very delicious. I would highly recommend The Habit—I make it a habit to go once a month!
Great experience with outdoor optional seating Plenty of parking as there is a huge parking lot. Hand sanitizer available upon entering No clunky self-order kiosks like other locations (cough, cough Glendale) Large tables and food has always been stellar everytime I frequent. Recommend over In n out

Quite Loud🤬 Reason Being Sports Game Night Fans Cheering Screaming Yelling🙉🙊🙈 My sister and I were there dining. It wasn't quiet as usually it is. Don't ever go on a game sports night cuz you won't be able to hear one another talk or have any conversation. Other than that it was relatively good restaurant to eat. The sports bar is right next to the dining room. It's not even separated so you don't have really have much of a choice!!
Came here on a Tuesday night, we got the nachos appetizer, ribeye and Cajun chicken pasta. There was more chicken than pasta and it was well seasoned. The ribeye was decent and the nachos had good taco seasoning layered. We got to watch the dodger game. For price, quality and service I would come back here.
Whenever I go, the experience is good with staff and service. Have a little patience because the wait can take while sometimes.
I pretty much only come here when I have coupons or using the promo, but the quality of the food has always been on the higher side. I actually really like their fried avocado side dish, because it's so creamy when you bite it. They currently have a cheaper combo selection at $6, $8, and $10. The normal stuff can get pretty pricey, so at least now there is some options
Review for take out . The line was outside the door and yet the cashier, Toni worked fast tackle the orders and made drinks order and still friendly. Hope the management recognize their employees because employees like Toni, will bring great business by working efficient, effective and friendly. Just a friendly suggestion to food preparer : to reduce salt on fries or fried green bean. Overpowering salt will destroy the food taste. Thank you.
We ordered all you can eat bundle for ribs, wings, shrimp, fountain. Friday night is a busy night, so they miss you order sometimes. I wait my ribs for 30 mins. More employees are required in busy hour, otherwise customer will lost patience.
Servers and hostess were great. Appetizers were good, drinks were good, but the food is not the same anymore. Every time I order pasta with chicken it's under cooked, I started getting ribs and they are always burnt I get extra BBQ to see if it helps with the burnt flavor but no. I don't know what's been going on lately but it's not what it used to be.
I had been an old customer for many decades since the Company opened its first Restaurant in Santa Barbara. For the first time ever almost all my today's order was wrong. Ordered a Double Char with cheese, the cheese was not there. French fries, not in the bag. Tempura green beans, not there. Ketchup pack, not there. Ranch sauce, not there. The order was to go. Was in a hurry. I had no time to review. LESSON: regardless of any place you order food to go, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS review your order bag before leaving. The hard working people there are humans and there are always good chances specifically on busy hours that some orders may not be fulfilled the way the customer wants.
I like the food. Very flavorful hamburgers and fries. The employees are mostly friendly. The dining room is usually filthy. I normally come here on a weekday, during the 11:00 a.m. hour. There's often pieces of food and/or drink on the tables and seats. There's usually food on the floor, under the tables. The last time I was here, the woman who entered the store in front of me had a large dog with her. It was not a service dog. She sat at that booth seat across from the counter, where people wait for their to-go orders, with the dog laying there on the floor. Not only was the situation unsanitary, but I was sort of concerned about the dog biting me. Maybe it was just trying to be friendly, but it sort of lunged towards me when I walked past it. Then I go to sit at a booth, and a couple sitting near me have just sat down with their dog, who is in a stroller. Anyway, one of them is feeding the dog and the dog was sneezing. Pretty gross. I don't want a side of fleas with my hamburger and fries. And I look down and there's all this food on the floor, under my table. When I was here several months ago, a large white dog was laying on the floor by a booth where it's owners were eating. It was licking the floor. Just not a clean environment. If I'm going to pay $16.00 for a hamburger and fries, then I should be able to eat in a clean dining room. This place is owned by a large multinational corporation. They can afford to hire extra people whose sole job is to keep the dining room and drink area and bathrooms clean. Keeping this place clean is a full-time job. It's hard to eat this food without crumbs and pieces dropping on the table and floor. Show some respect for your customers, and hire people to keep the place clean. Don't be so cheap.
Context: Store closes at midnight and I came with my 9months pregnant wife right around 11pm. We just wanted to get one of the desserts. They gave us the option to sit down at the bar so I asked them if we could sit on the padded seat booths instead of high rise chairs since my wife was pregnant and also the fact that the couple right in front of us was seated at the booths and there were other people sitting there as well as seen in the pictures. Anyways, we ended up sitting at the bar area and ordered the dessert which was good. But the customer service made me give this rating.
First time at a Applebee's with Wife and kids. We were greeted by a lady asking how many. I said five. She put us down and looked at the restaurant for five seconds and told us "Give us about ten minutes.". We sat down and I looked into the restaurant. I observed many waitresses walking around. They have a bar island in the middle of the restaurant. It was a Sunday so it was busy. We got called and were sat at our table with menus ready. We waited for 12 minutes before a server acknowledge us, to let us know they would be with us, yet many servers were talking near the entrance. (Hmm...it was Sunday and busy...) When our server came she asked us for our drink orders and when we did she asked if we needed more time to order. (Uh really?!?) "We're actually ready!" We placed our order. Kids got their dish. Wife and I were not impressed. I had really small portions and my wife's meal tasted like a frozen meal heated on a skillet(or microwave). Maybe because it was Sunday, and it was busy we hardly got any attention (yet the servers and waitresses hanged out in the front talking). Maybe I was expecting to much. We probably could have done better at Wendy's then here. Coming back? No thanks. Tried it, disappointed. I had to try it. I did. They did not leave a good impression. Thanks but no thanks.
The servers are always the best but the chefs (probably) are always messing up my stuff, I ordered medium well and they gave me well done, which is okay but the steak was so burnt I chipped my tooth, it was a small chip but it still sucks 😭. My husband ordered well done but got a bloody steak instead, the server said they would try to remove one of the items from the bill for the inconvenience but left it the same. I understand it was Valentine’s Day and it was super busy but it kind of ruined our dinner.
Ordered a large take-out order yesterday. I was kinda surprised that they didn't prepare our drinks and instead just handed me a stack of cups. They gave me my order and cups and shooed me over to the soda machine to make space on the counter. There wasn't really a convenient place to put my bags of food, so I had to balance them in one arm while trying to fill and lid my drinks with my other. I'm surprised that I didn't drop something. I could understand if they were busy, but they weren't. A few just sat there watching me. I like the Habit, but this location's service sucks. I'll go to the South Pasadena location or another restaurant if I'm in Alhambra.
The food was expect when coming to any Applebees but they had mentioned that the food was cook homemade at the restaurant. Not only that I had flagged the manger "Ellie" the closing manger about the food not tasting right and wasn't good and said what should I do with ? And continues to say we get it frozen , package and put in a fryer, Looked at me in confusion and not trying to understand the issue. Like you guys don't know how to use a fryer or what ? , So I said I would like a refund and said alright then. And rolls her eyes in front in me. As a manger myself and to be treated with no respect and with no empathy about how I was feeling as a consumer. Not only that she was repeatedly rude to her own workers/employees while closing with her fellow team. Joseph was fabulous. Thank you Joseph you need a raise. And not only the manger didn't say sorry at all and never came to check in with me. Manager should never show their temper or frustration when working in a social environment and setting . It’s an embarrassment and disgusting to see Applebees is hiring non ethic managers such as “Ellie “ to fulfill a role that is provided in any manger job description and still can’t do the bare minimum. Thank you but no thank you.
I think Applebee's is an okay chain. A tad better than Chili's, but not much. It was national cheeseburger day, so we headed out to Applebee's for a burger. A nice special too! Parking is difficult here, but we found a place to park and walked in. We were seated by a nice young woman. We looked over the menu and said yup, cheeseburger! Our waitress came by - Not friendly at all and it felt like she didn't want to be there. She took our order and barely said a word. The drinks arrived and she put them down and left - no conversation and I don't think she even said a word! Next, the food came. Plates dropped off in silence, then off she went. The food was very salty - I don't like it when they oversalt food. My drink went pretty quickly and I was looking to call our waitress, but she disappeared. I finally grabbed a busboy and he refilled my drink. We finished our meal and our waitress was nowhere to be seen. I asked a gal walking by if she could get our waitress for us. Our waitress came by, refilled our glassed and left. Not a word! We paid our bill and left - VERY DISAPPOINTED! We will not go back to this Applebee's. We know what to expect and this was a huge disappointment.
This is the first Habit location I’ve been to where the burger patties tasted hard, like they were frozen, instead of juicy like the ones I’ve had elsewhere. One star.
Wake up people — spend your money where it counts! I went to The Habit Burger Grill on Main Street in Alhambra and asked for my bacon crispy. They told me they “can’t do that” — while the guy was standing right there at the grill! I’m paying for it, the least they can do is make it how I want it. I’m tired of paying for things and not getting what I pay for — tired of being treated like cattle instead of a customer. It’s not that hard to cook bacon right. Show some pride in your food and your customers. People, stop settling — put your dollars where they matter!
