Opinions de Yellow City Street Food Amarillo
One of our go to places in Amarillo. Especially if we want to impress folks from out of town. Everything we’ve ever had is absolutely delicious! Tacos, burgers, animal fries and craft beers are all SUPER good. Highly recommend whatever their special of the day happens to be. ALWAYS so creative and scrumptious!
Great food! I ordered the shrimp tacos and jalapeño fries both were awesome. My brother ordered the vegan tacos he said they were also great. The vibe was laid back and inclusive. Love seeing a business like this in Amarillo. We’ll be back.
Just wonderful. Good food, service, and atmosphere. Loved it for a quick bite while on a road trip. Always nice to stop at a locally owned place.
Tacos were delicious and the staff was welcoming. I was in town for an evening in the middle of a roadtrip and would have gone to a chain if my sister hadnt found this place on google. I would come back to this place in a heartbeat over any chain restaurant for food!!
The food is excellent. All natural drinks. My only recommendations is to have an American flag that represents ALL people of America regardlessof thier sexual orientation. We are UNITED under one flag. I love all Americans.
My girlfriend and I stopped by this place while passing through Amarillo on our road trip. As vegans, finding places along the way can be a challenge. YCSF did not disappoint. The idea here is that the food isn't fast, but good. So don't come in ready to complain if it takes too long. They have great tacos, and a good selection of craft beers to enjoy while waiting. The menu rotates, so check their Facebook to see what they have this week.
Was traveling through Amarillo and came here based on reviews. Don’t let the outside whole in wall look scare you from the wonderful food, and service of the inside. The staff are very friendly and willing to do anything to allow for a good experience. We had a great experience and would recommend anyone to stop by on there travels.
My partner and I passed through Amarillo on our way back to CO and decided to stop for lunch. YCSF pulled up on Happy Cow so we decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did. Not only is the food absolutely delicious and obviously made with love, but the staff is welcoming and upbeat, and the atmosphere is inclusive and full of late 90's/2000's skate/post punk vibes. We're always stoked to find rad people doing rad things and this place did not disappoint!
Great vegan options; there were only like 2 things that couldn’t be made vegan. The al pastor taco I had that wasn’t vegan by default was excellent with jackfruit, and I usually do not like jackfruit-heavy dishes. great beer selection, i loved the life and death in la west coast ipa. Good vibes too, friendly staff. fun
The best spot in Amarillo. Excellent vegan options - I loved the brussels sprouts, imposter and dragon tofu tacos. A welcoming atmosphere, too! We will be back!
The crew over here really always knocks it out of the park. I really enjoyed the collaboration between Nomad Pizza and Yellow City Street Food, great combo, great beer, great times. The staff and the menu are outstanding thanks gang. Highly recommend anyone traveling in the area you better stop.
Other Google reviews led us here on our way through town. Definitely wouldn't have pulled in just passing by and happily agree with the positive reviews about the food and the service. Husband had special of day which was asian hot chicken sandwich and I had famous fish taco. Very good. Yes they have craft beer on tap, not necessarily local, though they cover a number of breweries across the state by tap, can and bottle. Be intentional and give it a try. You'll be pleased! Don't be fooled by the nondescript exterior! BTW we dined between 3 and 4 and not too busy for easy parking and quick service. Go early and beat the local crowd.
On a road trip headed to Memphis and decided to have lunch in Amarillo. This place is amazing!! Food was great, atmosphere fun, and people friendly! We got the OG smash burger and fish taco! Wow!! Amazing. Right off the interstate. Do not miss this place!
Great craft beer. Local. Cozy hip atmosphere. And the best damn veggie burger on the planet. I am a purebred Texan and therefore, a true beef lover. However, this veggie burger is so insanely delicious that I can't even bear to stray away long enough to order a traditional burger. AND THE ANIMAL FRIES! I literally had a dream about these once, if that tells you anything. If you skip the meat in your burger, you can make up for it with mounds of perfect bacon on these heavenly fries. I recommend drinking a tasty draft brew while you wait. The staff always has a great recommendation for me. They know their stuff. YCSF is locally owned, food is locally sourced, and they even hang work from local (but not lame) artists on their walls. But don't think for a second that their hometown roots lower the bar for quality or style. You'd be hard pressed to find another restaurant where you can eat and drink this well even in a big city.
Every dish is amazing, made with love, care and attention to detail. My favorite place in Amarillo!
We spent the night in Amarillo while on our way to Colorado from Austin and we were pleasantly surprised that there was a restaurant with plenty of vegan options here! I had the veggie burger with a side fries which were delicious. My wife got a shrimp taco, a fish taco, and fries as well and she said her food was great as well. We finished it off their oreo truffles which were incredible! If you want to try some fresh, tasty food with some very friendly employees, then try YCSF the next time you're in Amarillo
Terrific, quirky little restaurant. The staff were extremely (not over the top), friendly and helpful. The food choices were well explained and delivered quickly. They also serve a variety of beers, changing their beer menu regularly. The place was not crowded when we were there and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. There are some interesting cartoon like pictures on the West wall. A great place for home cooked healthy food (beware of the horse radish it’s quite strong).
Please excuse the halfway eaten food pics - Food was so good I decided midway through that I wanted to leave a review. We got the garlic parmesan fries and they were generously topped and seasoned to perfection. I made my own burger and my bf got the wake and bake burger. Both were some of the best burgers we’ve ever eaten. Following the meal, he kept making comments like “wow, that was a really great burger.” 20 min back into our drive and he’s still reminiscing 😂 unfortunate that this was just a pit stop on our road trip because we’d be back in a heartbeat.
I ordered a vegan shrimp Po boy sandwich, vegan garlic Parm fries and a topo Chico. I was on a long trip down I-40 so I stopped in to use the restroom as well. The food was exceptional! Delicious crispy fries, the (faux)shrimps we're crispy and tasty. All the ingredients were excellent quality. The 2 private restrooms are the best on the I-40!! Extremely clean and well stocked. Fem products, sanitizing wipes and hygiene wipes, TP etc. Sadly I was driving for work so unable to take advantage of the vast alcohol selection. Hopefully next time I stop in I'll get the opportunity.
FREAKING YUM! Oh my goodness. Don’t let the outside of this business fool you - the food is INCREDIBLE! When you arrive, they’re upfront about their wait times. But after ordering, we took in the cool vibes of the place and even chat with the employees a bit and before we knew it, the food arrived. Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food and drinks! GET THE DANG TACOS!!!
My boyfriend and I came to Amarillo on a whim for the night, having never been before. We haven’t been out to a restaurant in almost a year, & decided to try while on our mini- getaway. We got SO lucky to find this gem! I am vegan, & usually do not have many choices when we are getting food on the go, and so I was in heaven here! As was my bf who is not vegan. The service was great, and there was patio seating. I so wish we had one of these near Dallas!!
I stopped here on a roadtrip from CA to PA & it was so good, I specifically requested to stop again on the trip back. The atmosphere is great. It's one of those places that you just feel safe to stop and enjoy a meal. Maybe it was the Wu-Tang sign on the front. Chill vibes. I can't remember what vegan tacos I had the first time around (Dec 2021), but the highlight taco of the second stop in June 2022 was the blackened "shrimp" taco. I have dreams of this taco. The "blackened" flavors came through in a way I've never had on vegan dishes. And it was perfectly spicy. The first couple bites didn't have much affect, but by the third the spice hits in just the perfect way. I'll be forever stopping here if I need to make a stop in Amarillo. I may even come out just to eat and enjoy the place.
Great joint! Went there for the first time and will definitely be back. Tried their tacos and they didn’t disappoint. 👌🏼
Four of us had lunch and everyone left full and happy! Great vibe. Only negative was I was on duty and couldn’t have a beer.
delicious and unique vegan/vegetarian options, online ordering available and our food was ready very quickly. overall fair prices for the quality, flavor, and amount of food. pictured: Vegan Hulk Taco (veg. jerk chikin) with fries and vegan ranch & Vegan Hulk Salad highly recommend!
I stopped by on my way from Ohio to California and had the best breakfast tacos ever! I went on a Saturday around noon and although it was busy getting a seat was no trouble. My family tried the regular breakfast tacos and the vegan ones along with the animal fries. Everything was amazing but the vegan tacos stood out as the best. The root beer came from a tap and I could drink that stuff all day, it was that good. Highly recommended!
The food was absolutely amazing. The pork carnitas was spicy but the best taco I’ve ever had was the fish taco. Go there-it’s amazing.
PHENOMENAL!!! This place has everything! Great food, atmosphere and convenient location. The food was fantastic! It was perfectly prepared, of great quality and sooo tasty. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The bathroom not only has a changing station for your child (with wipes), there are feminine products provided. All of the details have been thought of and put into place here. I wish I wasn’t just passing through because I would come back weekly if I could. Great job, YCSF!
Passing thru town, staying at local hotel...looking for a place to have dinner. Found this cool place with an eclectic vibe...both in atmosphere and the menu. Intrigued by the menu and what was on tap. We ended up getting the Hulk Taco, Fish Taco, the Garlic/ Parm fries and a the Checkered Vans IPA. Not too many others there, we got there about 6PM on Saturday and our order came out pretty quick. The tacos were great. Huge fish fillet on my Taco. Loved the red onions n cabbage with the sauce. Wife's Taco had a very flavorful jerked chicken taste. The fries were the best garlic/parm I've had. Two types of parm on them, crispy and the remoulade was a nice dipping sauce. Amarillo foodies...WHERE WERE YOU TONIGHT?!?! You gotta try it. We live in AZ, but if we were here, we'd hit up this place often. Thanks for a great dinner on our travels.
Absolutely delicious. This chef-owned place knows what it’s doing. Great flavors with modest flair. I’m not from here but I’ll take bets on this place having the best fries you’ll find in Amarillo. Excellent fish taco (massive!), Hulk taco was awesome, and the animal fries we’re so damn good they about killed me. The chef special muffalata was a fantastic diner-style rendition of an Italian classic. I’d whole-heartedly trust the vegan options if that’s your choice. Seriously. Pop-in and try it, and remember be patient… Good food takes time to make!
This hole in the wall counter service joint might surprise you. Nicely curated selection of beers, wine, and organic sodas. Staff were great. Can't go wrong with pork carnitas or tofu tacos. This place can make the vegan and carnivores in your group happy. Highly recommend this place. We're from Austin and wish this place was in our town.
Vegan food in West Texas? Damn right. And it’s good too. I got a quiche for Saturday breakfast. Unbelievable. Not sure if it was just egg or something like that but it was phenomenal. I also got their basic veggie burger and it was all around solid. Only real negatives is it is on the pricey end and it’s definitely takes a while. But it’s a really cool spot and I absolutely would go back.
This is the ONLY place to eat in Amarillo! I've been to this city twice, and I've eaten here both times! I had both of the veggie tacos this time and they were completely out of this world! The berry hibiscus tea is yummy, and comes with free refills. And the staff after very helpful and sweet!
Out of Amarillo’s roughly 500 dining establishments, Yellow City Street Food is my favorite. Maybe it’s because I love the alternative scene, or maybe it’s because I like progressive American fare done right. YCSF scores highly in both regards. You can dress up or down, show your tats and piercings (or none), and dine with a very diverse group of people who have come to know that YCSF loves all and serves all. And that is evident on the menu board, which has evolved through the years from whatever they felt like making on any given day, to what is now a strong group of items that appear every day, with everyone covered. Vegan? Vegetarian? Omnivore? They love all of us. In addition to amazing delicious food, they have an impressive rotating selection of craft beers. You won’t find any mass-produced swill running through their taps or taking up space in the fridge. On this visit I had one each of the Dragon Tofu Taco and the Imposter Taco. Both are vegan, the former featuring huge chunks of lightly fried tofu, the latter with similarly fried cremini mushrooms. A heavenly vegan remoulade tops both. I washed it down with an IPA from Tupp’s Brewery. Two tacos are filling, but I confess to sometimes also getting a side of their Salt & Pepper Fries, which are to die for. Other times I have chosen their Veggie Burger as well as the Vegan Impossible Burger. And the omnivores who may be dining with me love everything from the “other side” of the menu. YCSF is a place that folks with different dietary bents can come together to celebrate a meal, and not have to worry if “their” specific type of food will be available. No judging allowed, just good food.
Came here while passing through Amarillo and it was SO worth the stop. Their staff was helpful and kind. And the food was a standout even when served to go. There were lots of vegan friendly options for my husband. The YCSF was the best burger I’ve ever had. And I don’t even like burgers. Will be recommending to any friends passing through!
Fortunate to be able to stumble across some awesome places in my travels. Yellow City Street Food - YCSF for short. Not only was the guy at the front counter the friendliest and most chill person I've ever met (think of a mix of Jay of Jay and Silent Bob - with zero of the idiot part of him - mixed with your coolest, most relaxed friend. I'm 85% positive he was Jesus.), but the food was awesome and the drink selection was really cool and right up my alley. Craft beers, wine, organic teas, local soda. Huge emphasis on local, quality, fresh, innovative food with a very artistic and chill atmosphere. Menu currently has creative street tacos, quality burgers with gourmet accompaniments, and three styles of fries, two of which you've probably never had but definitely want to try. It is chef owned and operated and the crew are all happy to help and genuinely cool to the customers. You don't feel like a customer - you feel like a friend. I hope it does well. If you are ever in Amarillo, stop by this place. I highly recommend it. It is a foodie's sanctuary among a ton of fast food joints.
Delicious food, laid back atmosphere, and kind staff. I had the Cubano sandwich and an iced tea. The jalapeño ranch fries were the highlight, but all the food and drink I had was filling and tasty!!! Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. Drove through Amarillo with a friend and am low key sad I can't come back and eat here regularly!
I pray that they put the Nashville hot chicken macaroni and cheese on the main menu it was so good and so is there dragon tofu tacos 10/10 a lil spicy but good spicy and so fresh, me and my partner go all of the time. A true craving, wish they would sell a cook book, will miss it if I ever move. Please never close!
First time visiting and already looking forward to returning. The food is fresh, the servings generous, and the staff super friendly. Tried the simple burger and the French toast during Saturday brunch. The burger was cooked perfect and the French toast was mind blowing good. It was not overwhelmingly sweet and served with a fantastic, homemade, fig jam. It does get busy and the food takes time to be prepared because it's all fresh, so plean accordingly and get ready to enjoy!
Fun atmosphere and unique menu. We started with a beermosa and coconut soda- the soda was delicious! Animal fries have bacon, carmelized onions, and an amazing spicy sauce. I highly recommend them (pictured is the small size). Then the Mac and cheese with chicken was a special- it’s not always on the menu. The imposter taco has tofu- not really a fan, but you might be. The chicken fajita taco was very good.
Ok, little gems like this restaurant are what I live for when traveling. No offense to anyone from Texas but I really wasn't looking forward to the Northern drive across Texas on the 40. Man, did this restaurant make it worth it! As a vegetarian, I loved all the options available to me (I chose a breaded mushroom taco, the name of which I can't remember). My wife got a hangover burger and we split an order of parmesan garlic fries. Everything was absolutely delicious and completely unlike the "same old stuff" you find everywhere. But hey, don't listen to me. Try this place for yourself and tell me you aren't blown away by the unique flavor combinations and the eclectic atmosphere (don't get me started...I could write a whole review about how fun and punk-rock the decor is inside). If you're going through Amarillo, you would sell yourself short if you skipped YCSF. Ahh-mazing!
Very delicious, awsome staff, amazing music, great food!! 10/10
The food here is amazing. The people are really cool just like the atmosphere. This place is a vibe. They got a banger playlist playing. Definitely coming back :)
Stopped here in the middle of a long road trip, the Puerco Loco sandwich was delicious and gave me the strength to drive 4 more hours that day ❤️ also the fries are like the peeeeeerfect texture, crunchy outside and soft inside. Highly recommend!!
You walk in. Dragon Ball Z is on the TV. The stickers on the counter let you know the staff is based. A gorgeous person sells you a cool beer that you’ve never heard of, but tastes incredible. The burger you ordered comes out hot and smells like magic. There is a candle with Anthony Bourdain on it, and you think you see him smile at you as you take your first bite of heaven. Amarillos pretty damn lucky to have this place. (Also great vegetarian options!)
Wow! What a find! This small-but-awesome eatery is a pleasant break from the usual Texas fare while still empowering Texas flavor. I tried the chorizo taco. It was full of spice without the taste bud killing heat. Savory and fresh all working together. The garlic parmesan fries are a must. Shredded parmesan, crispy skin-off fries, and a spicy aioli for dipping. Fresh, well-brewed black tea with Truvia for a little sweet hit the spot. I was greeted with an energetic and friendly smile. From order to eating took about 7 minutes. Total bill with a 20% tip is just over $16. Next time I come thru Amarillo, I will be back! NOTE: LGBTQIA+ safe and friendly. Single person bathrooms kept VERY clean and well stocked.
Food: their famous fish taco was evenly battered, crispy, yet still so tender in the inside. We thought the fish to tortilla ratio would be off, but it was actually just right, and we felt like it was well worth the price - very filling. The potato hashes were a really nice touch. IMO the best bite here. The wake and bake smash burger was my fiance's favorite here. It had a coffee mayo and blueberry jam to really make the flavors stand out from other smash burgers. Highly recommend to get their comho for this one because the fries were crispy (it seemed like they were double fried). And their gochujang aoli 👍 The Santa Muerte smash burger had a similar base as the wake and bake but more saucy and spicier (jalapeños). It was good but we liked the wake and bake better. Service: Great. Everyone was friendly and the food came out in 10minutes. One of the few gems in Amarillo we'd 100% go back for. Good not even just for Amarillo.
If you are looking for a really tasty burger and love some spice, I highly recommend the Santa Muerte burger at this location. Their house sauces, pickled jalapeños and perfectly cooked patties provide an amazing tangy taste. The restaurant itself has a fun vibe. There are a lot of vegan and gluten free options as well.
It’s a chill casual place. The music wasn’t too loud, the decor is interesting, the staff was nice. Now the food…. I ordered the vegan burger, and it was delicious. It’s really difficult for me to find good veggie or vegan burgers, and this one didn’t let me down. My husband isn’t into burgers that much anymore, and he was amazed with his burger, the yellow city burger. The garlic Parmesan fries were amazing too, the right amount of crispy with great flavor.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Lots of delicious, thoughtful vegan options. Pictured are the imposter taco (left) and dragon tofu taco (right). Both fantastic. No substitutions allowed, just FYI. Fine by me. [EDIT: See the restaurant's response below, I wasn't exactly right. This no-modifications rule only applies to some menu items.] One caveat: the prices for everything (vegan or not) are more like Dallas prices than Amarillo prices. I live in Dallas currently, so I don't mind. But I know some lifetime locals might not like that. Overall, I definitely recommend it! I'd say that, for anyone, it's worth going at least once. New favorite for me.
“Most intentional Smashburger I’ve ever had!” 🫶🏾 I love when a good Google search leads me to a hidden gem, and that’s exactly what Yellow City in Amarillo, TX is. Small town, BIG chef flavors! Every bite felt intentional, from the balance of flavors to the care in presentation. Even the house salad and homemade peach preserves were fresh, vibrant, and thoughtfully crafted. You can tell the chef pours heart and creativity into each dish, making this place stand out in a way that’s rare for small-town dining. The selection of local beers on tap was also a fantastic touch, really adding to the experience and giving me a taste of Amarillo’s craft scene. It’s clear that Yellow City focuses on celebrating the local community, which adds another layer to the dining experience. Now, about the famous fish taco – while it didn’t fully meet my expectations (I was hoping for a super crispy batter), the fish itself was flaky and cooked to perfection, which showed the chef’s technique. I would have preferred a thinner tortilla to let the fish and the fantastic sauces take center stage. The sauce, by the way, was abundant – as a sauce lover, I enjoyed every bit of it, but I can see how someone less into sauces might find it a bit much. It’s a small adjustment in an otherwise excellent dish. Would I come back? ABSOLUTELY! Yellow City offers more than just great food – it’s an intentional dining experience that shows respect for local ingredients and culinary creativity. Can’t wait to try more from the menu next time!
Everything yes! The food was insane: fresh ingredients, bold flavors, so many vegan options that are actually delicious! I tried four different vegan tacos and all were seriously good. My favorite was actually just the vegan classic soft taco, but I also inhaled the vegan hulk. (Also four was 2+ meals) The staff was super extra fun and friendly, and the atmosphere was happy and hippie dippie. I was only passing through but I’m going to attempt to make this on my way again.
So excited to find such tasty and interesting vegetarian/vegan options! Especially with both meat alternatives (impossible, chicken soy curls) and mushroom/tofu. We picked up for take out. We had the vegan hulk salad, dragon tofu salad, and kids tofu nuggets. We’d never had tofu nuggets before but loved these, the seasoned corn chips were also very good. Loved both salads, they were both very good. Maybe a bit small/light on greens but very filling with the toppings. The one of us who doesn’t handle spice found the sunny sauce on the dragon tofu salad too spicy to have much of, but the house remoulade was very good.
YCSF was discovered as we searched for a restaurant near our hotel as we were passing through town. We chose it because it had 4+ star reviews by over 1,000 people, it is a local place, it is chef owned. Well it was "all that and then some"! Food was not only bursting with flavor but hefty portions. Wait staff were friendly and very accommodating giving great suggestions on menu items. Atmosphere was fun and eclectic. We each ordered the Yellow City Burger and then shared Animal Fries. Delicious sauces! I love Iced tea and was pleasantly surprised to find a flavored tea - Blueberry Pomegranate on the menu. Bonus for beverages was free refills. Whether passing through or if you are living in Amarillo this is a must stop.
Yellow City Street food- My wife and I went yesterday for dinner and I just have to share we really value places like this exist in Amarillo. They were very friendly and clearly take pride and have passion for their food. They just check off so many boxes for us with what we consider a good restaurant. The speed was reasonable, the quality was top notch and the over all environment just has a good fun vibe. So if you don't know about them or haven't been in a while I definitely recommend you check out.
Hands down one of my favorite restaurants of all time. YCSF will always hold a special place in my heart since I've been eating here since it was only a drive through in a small hut. It was amazing back then and has only gotten better over the years since. You never have quite the same food experience every time you go in and that is wonderful because it is always fresh and keeps you coming back. My personal favorite time is brunch time and when I lived in the area we went at least once a week if not more. Now that I don't live in the area it is one of the places I miss the most and always try to visit whenever I'm near that area. The staff is always wonderful and I adore the atmosphere they have created there. As you can see the food doesn't just taste amazing the look and presentation are equally as amazing in my opinion. TLDR - eat here, food's fantastic
Food was good, the special sauce with the OG burger was legit! Cute, clean restaurant. Service was ok. The whole staff seemed to get offended that I asked for salt. They were actually kinda rude about it. The food was not under seasoned, I just like salt and I like a lot of it. I’m also a foodie and know to taste my food before salting - don’t need to be told to do so, like I was.
Excellent eatery with a casual environment. When they say do not alter the menu this is a restaurant where you do not alter the menu. I unfortunately made that mistake but won't a second time. Their beers are good and while their selection is lacking, you can expect a new variety by next week for you to try. My only issue is the price of the meal for the amount of food you get. The patty for my burger unfortunatly left a lot to be desired. The price is also per taco, however, I felt their portions were more fair than their burgers. I would love to visit again and try something new on the menu. Next time I'll know not to alter the recipe.
The kombucha is awesome, food and service is great. Had the Reg Burger, and it was fresh and juicy. I love that they work with local farms. My only negative is that I was confused about whether or not I was supposed to clear my table. I watched other tables leave... one cleared their table the other didn't. There weren't any signs or anything and the dish bin was full, so we just stacked everything on our table and left it there.
Pros: - cool atmosphere - nice staff - good beer - supports local - outdoor seating Cons: - very long wait for your food (but this is posted so you should be aware) I will say, I worked in the food industry in two fast paced counter-serve restaurants with only one person preparing the food (me). Given my experience I don’t think it is acceptable to expect patrons to wait an hour for their food, especially for 4 tacos and a half order of fries. This is the reason I can’t give 5 stars.
Delicious food. Didn’t expect to find such unique flavors in Amarillo! When I first read the sign with the 7 rules about trusting the chef and no salt and pepper, I was immediately turned off, but the experience changed for the better the moment the food arrived. Brussels sprouts are amazing. The spicy burger is actually spicy unlike most. Decent selection of craft beer too! I just wish the glasses were beer clean, so I could enjoy the flavors/aromas of the beer as much as I did the food.
Not for me! My brother loves the food but the cheifs refuse any acomidations to any meals. Which is okay, it just makes it so I can’t eat here. If you find something there make sure you like everything on it! They won't even put it on the side. Edit: I attempted to order the avocado toast, but because I was told there could be no changes I have very concerned about ordering it! I have a preference for no spice, it hurts, I don't find any meal enjoyable if it's causing me active pain. I ordered this months ago so my memory is hazzy, but I clearly rember there was a "tomato jam" which was just salsa on it. I was TOLD nothing on the menu can be changed, but an employee. So reluctantly, I ordered because I was younger and very hungry and had no where else to go. Plus there is a strict no outside food or drink making it so we couldn't grab something for me on the way and we all eat together. After affirming that the toast was not spicy, and orderer it with nothing else I could eat that was nutritious or filling if the toast was spicy. It was, even to my brother that enjoys spicy foods. I couldn't eat it, or return it. I have never felt so awful or had a worse experience at a restaurant. I did cry, and my brother had to eat my regret meal while I mourned what I believe was around $15. Since my brother frequents this place, I was also informed that getting a basic burger then adding modifications is very expensive. He also confirmed that there are no accommodation, while I have only been twice (the second time I prepared and ate before hand) he has been many times so it isn't a slip up if it's common knowledge to a regular that there are no accommodation. I do not have an allergy, and I do not want to lie to see if they would accommodate me if I did. So I am unsure if they would, but I wouldn't risk it.
Horrible experience! The owner along with the co-owner harassed me and my children after reporting that our burger was literally RAW will not be back hopefully this place gets shut down!
