Received coupons in the mail decided to give them a try. Got the $20.99 deal 10 piece chicken two large sides and five biscuits. I ordered my food. I received my order and I was home within 13 minutes. Amazing service food was great shout out to them.
Actually got the order perfectly correct, and the food was hot and delicious. Chicken sandwiches and fries FTW.
I came in to pickup my order today and my food was done very fast and customer service was amazing. The food was also very good and warm. All around great experience.
I just went thru the drive thru- this afternoon the man and woman working the window were awesome! They were so pleasant and kind! Food was on point also! They deserve raises!!! I hope they have a Merry Christmas if they celebrate it!
I have a bone to pick with both Popeye's in Akron. I don't know if the issue is staffing or management, but they both feel like fly-by-night operations. I love Popeye's chicken, but whenever I take a risk and go here, I am prepared to have my order cancelled. First, the only way to order is thru the app. Oh, they have a drive thru with a speaker, but good luck understanding anything they say. And vice versa. The easiest thing to do is place the order on the app and brace yourself. There's a good chance the order will be canceled. Someone on first shift didn't get any chicken out of the freezer, so there's no sandwiches. Someone didn't make enough sides, so pick another one, until of course, they run out of all the sides. Sometimes, they tell you to come in from the drive thru. Other times, you walk up to the door only to be motioned to the drive thru. Again, I love Popeye's chicken. And these locations could do So. Much. Better.
Good food, as usual. Kind and helpful staff. Slowish service due to the crowd and a blah atmosphere since it’s at a gas station - but we took our food to a near by park so our pup could enjoy the sunshine. We enjoyed the food and stop in this area.
Haven't been to Popeyes in awhile because of a bad experience at a different restaurant. Will definitely be back to this one. Friendly service and the food was delicious! Right amount of spice and large helpings. Thanks for bringing us back!
Good delicious chicken here. Service is good but wait time maybe long during peak hours. Cleanliness is not their first priority from my observation of the windows, counters and floor.
Placed an online order for pickup and expected it to be ready within 10-20 minutes. I got there about 15 minutes after placing my order, then had to wait for 20-30 more minutes to eventually receive my food. There was panty of chicken cooked and visibly available, but even though there were only 3 people inside waiting to order and a line of drive thru traffic, I still had to wait for a long time to get my food. I counted 5-6 people working, but it was not very efficient.
Horrible! I was in line for an hour waiting to order some nugget. Got up to the window, no nuggets. Ok, ordered 3 pieces of chicken with coleslaw. No coleslaw. The chicken was so small and dried up. They gave me red bean a s and rice in place of coleslaw. It was actually refried beans and rice. The biscuit was VERY hard. Only thing good was the drink. NEVER AGAIN.
I went here and was charged to have sauce with my food. The old lady told me that they do not give any sauce with your food so order shrimp have to pay for cocktail sauce.
This location is always bad. Stopped going in person & thought maybe door dashing would work better but they don’t even take the time to make the door dasher confirm the order. They’ve let 2 door dashers just steal my order. It takes a few seconds to make them confirm the order. Be so fr. We placed an entirely separate order. They’re claiming not to have it even though we literally have proof of it. Door dash tried to call them and have them make the 2nd order but they still won’t do it. Not sure if there’s an issue with the door dash system but maybe it’s time to just stop doing door dash.
Hello, I am writing to formally complain about a very poor drive-through experience at your Popeyes location near S Arlington St / Palmetto Ave in Akron, Ohio. My wife and I visited this location on Thursday, December 18th at approximately 3:45 PM. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst fast-food experiences I have ever had. Food Quality Issues: • The chicken we received was cold, clearly not fresh, and inedible. • The mac & cheese was cold, congealed, and visibly unappetizing, indicating it had been sitting for an extended period. • Despite ordering through the drive-through, our food was oddly packaged in dine-in containers, which raised immediate concerns about freshness and food-handling standards. • The food appeared to have been pre-made and sitting, not freshly prepared. Customer Service Issues: • While ordering, after our first item the employee prematurely gave us our total. • When we stated we were not finished ordering, his response was “What else you want then”, delivered in a rude and dismissive tone. • The interaction lacked even basic professionalism or courtesy. • We were not provided a receipt, making it difficult to document the visit precisely. Before going, I even mentioned to my wife that this location might not be a good idea based on mixed Google reviews, but we decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately, those concerns proved to be justified. This experience reflects serious problems with food freshness, quality control, and staff training. The food was completely inedible, and the service was unacceptable. I am contacting corporate because this location clearly needs attention. I would appreciate acknowledgment of this complaint and information on what steps will be taken to address these issues.
Workers are so rude. Waited so long in an empty drive through late at night when the dining room was closed to pick up two DoorDash deliveries. Once I finally got to the window they handed me one and said to cancel the other delivery with no context/ reason to me while being EXTREMELY rude- as if I’m not also just trying to do my job. Genuinely don’t go here they don’t know how to do simple tasks.
I went there for a job interview, and the person that greeted me was no greeting at all! She yelled next!!! Then when I got up to the counter, she said the person I was looking for doesn't work there....and that they were NOT hiring. She made that very clear. Also, the color of someone's skin should not matter!! But the employees implied that I was not welcome in their establishment, and yelled something as I walked out! This place needs some serious attention and better people working for them!! ALL BAD! DO NOT EAT HERE! If I could remove that star I definitely would!!
Mid quality food as well as rude service especially some girl named Sami or Samantha or something like that kept dancing ridiculously on tik tok in the window while I tried to get my food / someone’s attention. She just danced and it wasn’t even good dancing
This store deserves ZERO stars🤬. I just again tried to go through the drive thru to order a 3 piece meal and as soon as I pull up to the intercom they tell me to come inside the store 🤬. I just got off work and maybe I don’t feel like getting out the car that’s why there are drive through windows. This place really needs to shut down for good cause apparently the staff does not want to work and I’m tired of the POOR SERVICE. I wish they could have a secret shopper come from upper management come through and see just what their doing
Man. When I say this location have the suckiest attitudes. Me and my family tried to order the 12 piece bundle spicy and the manager told us they were out of wings. We ask could we substitute for different pieces and he said “NO you’ll have to get something else with a nasty attitude . Their butt cracks be out on the railing while smoking cigarettes and it’s either u get old chicken or no chicken. Wouldn’t recommend I think they should close this location because clearly everyone hates their job smh.
This location sucks! Seriously I am always more then 15 minutes for my orders their doors are always lock and no one ever answers the drive thru. The workers have sore attitudes. No one is wearing hair nets or gloves. The Biscuits are always hard as a rock they never have hot fresh chicken up. Most of the time when you drive by the workers are outside smoking. And look it's Saturday night 7:31pm and they are closed smh 🙄
I'm a Dasher and I picked up two separate orders. I had 3 drinks between two of them, and they had no drink carriers. I ended up spilling one all over my seat because of this. They took back both receipts instead of taping them to the bag so I could remember which was which. The woman at the counter was very rude and said "hurry up and take a picture of the receipt so I can get back to work." Excuse you but I'M supposed to keep the receipt, and I'm busy trying to figure out how to carry 3 drinks with no carrier AND keep track of which order is which with no receipts.
The person who was at the front counter was rude and argued with my fiancé and I. We did not get the side of macaroni and cheese we paid an extra half a buck for. She even took it back from us and refused to be nice or helpful. We drove from Canton (25 minutes away) to try to have a good experience and it was so bad, I never want to go back.
The staff at this location really could use an attitude adjustment because customer service is definitely not their forte. They act as if they’re doing someone a favor taking their money.What they fail to realize or simply don’t give a damn is my will spend anywhere. The entire staff needs to be terminated and replaced with someone who is more respectful and displays some professionalism! I will definitely not be returning. KFC here I come!
Customer service is terrible at this location. Went inside to order and noticed the mac and cheese was old and dry. Nicely asked the girl there if I could have some fresh mac and cheese. She replied, "No, this is how it comes. I am not going to switch it." Wow. I should have left at that point, but I didn't. Regreted it even more when I took the mac and cheese out of the container when I got home. The chicken was decent, but I will not be going back again after this experience.
