Gigis is awesome!! My wife and I had a fabulous experience dining in for dinner on a Friday night. Our server, August, was the best. Everyone was super friendly and seemed happy to serve us. Everything we had to eat was spectacular. We got the Calamari as an Appetizer which was super Tender with a Sweet and Spicy Sauce. I got the Salmon while my wife got the Steak. We both were very happy with our choices. As we were eating, our mouths kept watering seeing the Pizzas come by as well as their Smoked Old Fashioneds. We are definitely coming back. Highly recommend for a Date Night or Family Dinner

My family and I went to Gigi's on Saturday. Amazing food, drinks and service. Our server, August was amazing and made sure we had a great experience. All of the employees were kind and had great energy. Give Gigi's a try, the Apple Margarita OMG!

Came here for lunch on opening weekend. Great environment and the lasagna is amazing! The staff are friendly and you can tell they are happy to be there.

Amazing authentic Italian. From apps to dessert was *chefs kiss* I love the signature drinks and they have a fantastic espresso old-fashioned to go along with an espresso martini. But the Gigi’s Smoked Old Fashioned is a show stopper!

Great location, service, environment and people. Recommend stopping there if you are in Kent.

If you're looking for a more classy upscale environment to dine at in Kent, Gigi's is definitely a new spot to visit. I've been there 4 times now, and all the food on the menu has been excellent. And if you're just stopping by for some drinks at the bar, Dominic and Matt will also definitely make you feel welcome and important to them as well.

3 of us enjoyed each meal and had leftovers to take home! The calamari was exquisite with sweet chili sauce. Our server, Kendall was fun, personable and helpful with her explanations and suggestions! I had the Sicilian pizza and it was scrumptious! Ask about the wine rewards club...what a deal!

So glad my friend and I decided to try this place on Tuesday! It’s wonderful! The appetizers (calamari and meatball) were excellent. The meatball is officially the best one I’ve ever had. The bolognese entrée was also excellent. I’m not a huge fan of taleggio, but that’s just a personal thing. Still a fantastic dish that I would recommend to anyone. We decided to sit at the bar, so probably my favorite part of the experience were the bartenders, Dominic and August (sorry if names are misspelled). They are awesome!! Naturally sociable, intuitive, and attentive to guest needs. They actually remembered things I said off hand I was trying to decide on my order, and brought a little extra sauce for my dish, simply because I mentioned I like it saucier. These two are a highlight of Gigi’s! I will definitely be going back and I hope August, Dominic, and everyone at Gigi’s continues to have lots of success in Kent.

Had a great time catching up with old friends in a great atmosphere at Gigis. The music and the drinks were perfect for a night out. Special thanks to our bartender Dominic for making our night with great service!

Dominic served us hot dogs even though the restaurant didn’t serve them! He ran to CVS and sprinted back in less than 5 minutes. Then he performed an interpretive dance for 30 minutes straight. We didn’t ask him too but he still did it!!!

The food was excellent, the place is very cozy and the prices are what would be expected. The staff was very friendly as well. It is a great location in Downtown Kent. My only complaint was that the service was pretty slow - both kitchen and bar. I am hopeful that was just a one-off situation because we will surely be back.

Excellent food and comfortable atmosphere! I came for dinner, had the Carbonara which was very tasty and the Brown Butter Cake that was perfect! Also, I had a taste of the Short-rib and for sure getting that next time :) My second visit was Brunch and enjoyed every bite! The potatoes were the best part of my meal, a must try! I’ll be back to work my way through the menu… definitely a great place to enjoy a tasty Italian meal.

My wife and I were very impressed with the food quality. We don't go out to eat much anymore largely because food is often a disappointment compared to what we cook at home. Not the case here, Gigi's produces an absolutely delicious meal!!

The best experience I've ever had at a restaurant in my entire life. The chef and sous chef were very very sweet and they make a perfect team. My waiter was such an amazing person and great people pleaser. If you're in Kent you NEED to stop here! (Get the steak and frites you'll thank my later!)

Absolutely loved every moment of my dining experience at Gigi’s. The food was excellent. The drinks were some of the best I’ve ever had. But it was Natasha, our server, who made it such a relaxing and welcoming experience! Easily one of my favorite places in Kent after today! Will be back again and again.

Visited twice so far, and both times were excellent! Cozy decor, and you can tell their food is made in-house. Very tasty! Our bartender, August, was also super friendly and on top of it! Looking forward to our next visit :)

My fiancé and I had dinner here last night, and it was an incredible experience. The drinks were balanced and delicious, and the food was so flavorful. It was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! The service was very attentive; our server Kendall was amazing.

I'm visiting from out of town and shared a meal with family & friends last night, what a fabulous experience we had. Our server Chris was so patient with us, recommended wonderful food choices and the bartender made a great wine selection for me. Kent has needed an elevated restaurant for some time now and this is the place to go!

I’m so excited that restaurants like this are opening up in our area. I had the salmon with risotto and it was delicious. My Negroni’s were made with love and I had 3 because they were that good. Service was great and on point and our server Ciara was very friendly. The place is beautiful and has lots of charm. I can’t wait to go back.

Second time having and food was really good, loved the pizza and carbonara and chix parm…husband had to wait 40 min for takeout and if you order the “Italian bread” fyi it’s just a small roll. Thought it would be more than one since it’s under appetizer.

Very clean and waitress was very attentive.

We had a very nice dinner tonight. Sat in the bar area. Our waiters were very good. Had pasta carbonara and lemon butter pasta. Only comment - for what we spent - over $90 it would have been nice if bread was included. Will definitely go back!

We visited this restaurant recently and had a good experience overall. The interior was fancier than expected, creating a cozy, intimate atmosphere. House chips were okay. Bruschetta was good, I liked that it was crunchy but soft in the inside! We also got pizza and the burger. Pizza was okay, I would probably get something different next time. Burger was great. You can tell they’re still new, and I’m excited to see how they grow. We will definitely be back for a date night!

First time here. Had a couple appetizers. Stuffed peppers and crispy cauliflower. Both were very good. I was a little disappointed that there isn’t the market that is advertised on the website. Maybe they will get it together soon. No bread, nothing to take home and heat up. Just dry pasta and sauces.

Nice restaurant. Some kinks to work through but impressive service for how new it is. Waitstaff was excellent. Drinks were great. No bread service in an Italian restaurant I’m still not happy about. The calamari while flavored and tasty well has an Asian sauce? I got short rib on linguini. Pasta was spot on Al dente Marsala sauce is exceptionally good. The short rib is 💯 fire among the best I’ve had presented marvelously. I’ll be back for that. Happy to see the restaurant scene grow in Kent such a great location.

Stopped by to pick up a to go order. The staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating. The food was excellent. The only reason for the 4 rating instead of the 5 is that when I opened the bag at home the egg plant, pasta and sauce were on the bottom of the bag (not enclosed). The cauliflower on the other hand was inside a small container also in the bag. As you can imagine the sauce, pasta and egg plant completely were all scrambled inside the bag. I would suggest putting food inside foil paper or zip lock bag instead of just throwing it inside the bag. However because the staff were pleasant and the food was really good, I will give this place another try.

I’ve been here once and the food was good, but the staff/management is why I won’t be back. I tried to go last week and the listed hours on Google said they were open until 12am (followed these because none listed on their Facebook page and their website stated they were open until “close.” Of course when I arrived at 8 the doors were locked with no sign of hours or reasoning for closing in sight. My husband called to speak to someone about this incident and they said that it has been a common complaint and they were trying to fix their hours. Fast forward to tonight (730 pm) we checked Google to see that they were open until 9, although we still called to make sure. The person answering the phone said they were open until 9 although they were slow so they may close early. We were told they would have to get a manager to make sure we could be still be seated. At this point the customer service here has made me decide this restaurant is a no go for me. As a local it is disappointing that I can no longer support a new local business.

Visited 1/7/26: I would give it 0 stars.We decided on a whim to try GiGi's. We walked in and were greeted promptly, hence the rating of at least1 star. The 3 hosts were discussing amongst themselves about where to seat us and who was going to be our server. Finallt we were sat in at a high top in the Lounge- not a problem. However, not one person looked our way, greeted us nor gave us any water for 15 mins. By that time, we were looking around for a server but only 2 walked by and neither even looked at us. Neither of the 2 bartenders looked our way. Now I can understand if they were busy but it was a Wed night at 8pm. We were excited to try a new place everyone raved about but now we will never be back. When we left, all 3 hosts looked confused as to why we're upset leaving. I've been in the service industry for over 25 years and 1st impressions are very important. Disappointing!!

Brought my nephew to see the music for Beatles fest, from 50 minutes away. Let me be very clear, the quote of a 30 minute wait, although pretty obviously a lie, is not the issue( even though there were lots of open tables for some reason , as well as the other two young hostesses just standing around) . The hostess was incredibly rude. She would not even look at me, was nasty about my request to sit at the bar to eat , which was also open with about 10 seats. There was also an open table for two right in the lounge, which I inquired about, and the middle-aged blond hostess once again couldn’t even be bothered to look at me and was extremely curt and dismissive. I truly got the impression that we were not welcome in this establishment which was shocking and unexpected to say the least. On top of that, the smell of the restaurant upon entering the building, was NOT a pleasant or appetizing one at all, but that of spoiled olive oil. 0/5 would not recommend to anyone . What is a restaurant like this even doing in Kent??? Edited to respond: Not in the slightest interested in a second chance here after that experience. Kent has no shortage of fine dining. I also want to point out this “30” minute wait time was especially odd , besides all the open dining clearly available, because there was NO one else waiting. A group of several people who walked in right in front of us, NO RESERVATIONS, were immediately seated. We also weren’t even offered a seat to wait ! It was abundantly clear by your middle-aged blond hostess that we were not welcome and expected to leave. Maybe it was because I was carrying a seat cushion for my broken tailbone? If so, thats even more disturbing to have been profiled in such a manor. While we weren’t dressed up, we weren’t in sweats or jeans either, and I could see by the other customers that button up/business casual or similar attire was not a requirement to dine here. If there is some sort of expectation for reservations, maybe try putting that very clearly on your web page. Who turns away paying customers there to see live the live music you’re hosting, when they’re ready and eager to dine?
