I was in Artesia for work today and got a sudden craving for Thai food. I remembered a spot on South Street that I had tried a while ago and loved, so I decided to give it another go. I'm so glad I did! The food was just as amazing as I remembered. I went with a few friends and we ordered a bunch of dishes to share. I got the seafood dish, and honestly, it was a solid 10/10. Fresh, flavorful, and just perfect. I also tried the crab fried rice, which was packed with real, fresh crab—definitely a winner in my book. My friends ordered the fried mussels, along with a couple of other dishes, and everything was so good! We ended on a high note with Thai French toast for dessert... It was bomb! Seriously, don’t skip it. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area. Everything is consistently great, and I’ll definitely be back next time I'm craving Thai
I had a wonderful experience with customer service; the staff were attentive and genuinely friendly, making me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. The food was not only incredibly delicious but also reasonably priced, which was a pleasant surprise. I was impressed by the generous portion sizes, ensuring that I left feeling satisfied and enjoyed great value for my money. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience that I would happily recommend to others.
This place offers authentic Thai food. Always serve good quality food.
We make every effort to dine-in at this place annually when we visit Irvine, CA. The food is absolutely delicious and consistently tasty. Highly recommend dishes: satay chicken/beef, papaya salad, Thai boat noodle, catfish w/ chilli sauce. Can't wait until our next visit!
Probably one of the best Thai Restaurant in the area. We order 3 items and we are not disappointed with the flavor. Everything was delicious and the portions are satisfying too. Definitely will be back here again!
The restaurant is very clean including the bathroom. The medium spicy Thai boat is very good and Thai coffee is yummilicious 😍🥰💕
Love their Thai Boat Noodles, wish they open a spot in the Valley for this type of cuisine. Can't find this food no where in the valley that makes this dish. I fell in love with this dish from the first bit, Mmmmmmmm oh how I miss it!!
Great atmosphere, timely and friendly service, food is delicious, and reasonably priced! Definitely plan to go again.
To me this is the best Thai restaurant in La county. Especially the yellow curry. I’ve been to a lot of Thai restaurants and this one has the best yellow curry.
Beautiful service. Good food. The only thing that was a bit egg smelling tho, a little too much was the pad Thai. Other than that pretty good.
A nice, pleasant place with a great ambiance—perfect for brunch or a relaxed morning. I missed the full menu this time since I was planning a big breakfast, but ended up ordering a couple of macarons and pastries. The pastry wasn’t very fresh, but the macarons were really good and still tasted great even later. I ordered a regular Americano, which I enjoyed, and I love trying coffee at different places. The space wasn’t too loud, the service was good, and I noticed one staff member constantly cleaning and checking on guests, which I really appreciated. Overall, it’s a fun and nice place to visit. ☕️✨
Just as expected, Amazing place! This place has been on my list to visit from quite some time now and today i finally get to try it and it did not disappoint me. Loved the whole vibe at this cafe. They’ve got great pastries options to choose from. They also have delicious brunch options as well. Love the open floor concept here, plenty of space for seating (Indoor and outdoor). Great staff, very helpful if you have any questions regarding their menu. Place is cleaned, their staff was making sure all the tables are cleaned nicely as soon as table gets empty. Highly recommend to try their Honey Lavender Latte!
My first time here, here are some things you should know about this place. 1) Get there as soon as it opens; it gets busy. 2) On weekends, a lot of runners gather here for breakfast, so it's quite busy. 3) Parking fills up quickly, so arrive early. THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!! Desserts and food are so good. I had the breakfast bowl and it was just perfect, and all of our food was delicious. The place is very clean, with plenty of comfortable tables to sit on, and the atmosphere is nice and quiet, with friendly staff. To the Manager: Please add another register; the lines are getting too long; the wait time for a cup of coffee and some bread was about 35 minutes, and the line moves very slowly; especially on weekends, you need more employees and one more register to keep the line moving. Aside from that, you must visit this place for some delicious breakfast, and the portions are generous!!! I loved it. Yummy Healthy Breakfast here.
Fast service. Amazing chocolate cake. Just can’t get any better. Maybe, I need to try the brunch next. Big parking lot, but it tends to get full quick with the surrounding businesses. Rich and light chocolate cake. Nice cookie crunch. Every bite is different, delicate, rich, but you want more after your first slice!
I've come here several times before and always gotten the breakfast burrito (which is fantastic). This time around I got a cortado and a mushroom sisig bowl with an egg on top. The mushroom sisig had a great contrast in flavors (mushroom-richness but also light/bright with mint, greens and other herbs) The cortado was on point, both in taste and presentation. Definitely recommend this place! (Also their matcha mousse cake is to die for.)
This place has a weird business model but they have well crafted food. Came for brunch and was pleased with the flavors and amount of veggies and flavors in my bowl. My partner got avocado toast and thought it was delicious. I've been here after their brunch hours for drinks and dessert many times. Love the ambiance of the place. Don't love their cakes but that's personal texture preference.
Amazing spot! I went here for brunch and had a great time! Their brunch is great for all folks who enjoy different types of brunch food from around the world! I had the pleasure of eating kimchi fried rice, their version of avocado toast , topsilog, and i topped it off with their amazing cakes and Oreo doughnut . It's definitely a place to go all out on and enjoy. Expect a food coma for all the right reasons! I definitely recommend this spot!
I always come here for dinner with a friend every time I'm in town. Young papaya salad is one of the best ones around. I highly recommend the papaya salad, the pineapple fried rice, and the green curry and basil (this curry was the best dish tonight. I kept going for more and didn't share with the others, lol). All the dishes were delicious, not salty or bland, my taste buds greatly appreciate this.
First time here since we discovered their IG page. Finally got to try out their food. Spring rolls (eggrolls), fish patties, Thai boat noodle and Pad see ew beef. Service guy was great, he even explained the noodle that I may not want to try only due to a few people who dislike it 😂. I'm not risking it yet so I passed that n pick my usual at every Thai restaurant: pad see ew. The portion is huge.. definitely share 😬.. flavor is there but if they swapped that w a flame wok and get that char smoke flavor, it'll be 10/10..but it's still great tho. 😆 Lol. Boat noodle was good but a lil sweet for both of us. Vinegar jalapenos help cut that part a bit. Fish cakes is super light and fragrance with the kaff.lime leaves. Not a fan of the sweet sauce though. Eggrolls was ok, not something I'd try again. But overall, there menu selections is huge compared to other Thai restaurants we've been too. 4/5 . And will definitely come try other dishes ☺️
This has become our go-to spot for asian food. Consistent quality every time we visit. The accompanying chili is delicious. I wish they'd offer Sriracha sauce. The food is perfect, but I don't like the smell. The interior is also a bit scary, although it's cultural
We love trying Filipino restaurants/shops and had this bookmarked as a place to visit. This is what we ordered: Pour Over As someone who loves coffee and has spent a lot of time learning about it, I should have known to asked about the tasting notes before ordering. - A dark roast bean (which means it’s more on the bitter side) - Surprisingly tastes like a tea the more I drank it, which is cool. - Pairs super well with a sweet pastry because it balances out the bitterness so this is a drink that you may want to pair with something else. Hojicha Biscoff Latte - Star of the show - Not too sweet - Different than typical lattes - Earthiness of the latte combined with milk and the biscoff *perfection* - Can get overwhelming towards the end of the drink but those first sips were delicious Tapsilog Plate - My husband thinks that it’s the traditional tapsilog flavors don’t come through as much, but it’s a very good steak dish - Loved the garlic pieces in the rice and the orange yolk of the eggs Milk and Cereal Cake We ordered this because it was one of their most famous pastries/desserts and were always down to try something. Definitely ask yourself before ordering if you like fruity pebbles. If yes, you’ll love this. If not, maybe pick another dessert. - It is a huge serving! - Very true to taste and the cake isn’t dense. - It’s a blend between milk soaked cake with softened fruity pebbles, just like having a bowl of fruity pebbles.
I will get the bad out of the way first. My one and only personal gripe about this place is; ordering dine in food at a to go counter. Other than this very minute complaint, there is nothing but praise, and utmost satisfaction for Bakers and Baristas. The ordering restaurant food at a to go counter is clearly done by design. They have dozens upon dozens upon dozens of macarons displayed at their glass counter, as well as other baked goods such as croissants, a green matcha cake, and a cereal milk cake (which looks like a delicate, taste indulgent soft serve, ice cream cake). Since I'm a savory guy, I went straight for the breakfast burrito. It was stuffed to the brim with at least two different types of meats (sausage, bulgogi?) eggs, cheese, and potatoes. I didn't try any of my compatriots dishes since I was too busy enjoying what I ordered. Regardless, there doesn't seem to be any type of boring dish on their menu. I will be coming back here once my sweet tooth is activated. 4.8/5 ⭐
A chill coffee spot that doubles as a brunch and dinner place. Their pain au chocolat croissant is one of the better ones in the area, it's just too oily. I love how they serve their iced coffee on glass, er, glass(???). A lot of people have occupied the tables already when I got in as it was a Sunday. Would definitely recommend, most especially, if you are coming in as a group. Although there is ample space for solo coffee lovers.
This place is what I would describe as industrial modern. When you come in, you would get in line to place your order, PLEASE plan ahead and know what you want to order before you are in front of the cashier. The place is clean. The servers are really attentive and check up on you quite often. We ordered the tapisolong, which was delicious and the meat was super tender and juicy. The other item is the avocado toast, which was fresh, and the toast was crispy. It was a little under seasoned even though I added a bunch of salt and also ordered an extra side of beacon.
Last visit in 2024 cost us $80 for beef and fish- not even seafood!! It will also be our last visit. 3 years ago: Very hard for me to rate since services were good but food taste doesn't wow me. My rating is for food. Monsoon noodle came out looking soggy, not appealing to eat, the taste was off. Just not yummy. Updated for February 26,2023 Pad see ew soggy, burnt Thai speghetti was wow, yes this tasted yummy of sweet and spicy sauce mixture.
We had come here for a birthday dinner today and we had ordered multiple items such as; monsoon euros with tofu, fried rice, Penang curry and when we got the food in the middle of eating we found two hair on two of my dishes. The server was nice enough to ask to change the dishes and not to charge them but at the end of the day I don’t think it was right that we found hair in our food. It was disgusting and we stopped eating our food after that we didn’t feel like eating here anymore. Thanks sweetie Thai owner for not charging but you maintain a level of cleanliness so there is no hair in people food.
Visited this spot for brunch with the bestie and got pork belly and breakfast bowls. I was quite disappointed in the food itself because it wasn't as flavorful as I thought. The best parts of each is the pork belly itself (just that the pork skin isn't crispy). The breakfast bowl was subpar and generic imo. I've tasted this before but better from other breakfast spots. I've visited here before for the Cereal cake and it is pretty good l. I like that it does taste like cereal and milk! Their baked goods are way superior than their brunch food.
My friends were raving about this place. Gone twice and each time my food was just okay. Seems more like Americanized hipster thai food. Parking can be a pain in the butt too. Haven't been back since.
Got the tapsilog. Meat was tasteless but tender. Rice was not fried. They just topped off white rice with fried garlic flakes. All this for $26. Will not be buying again. Ever.
They need to work on there quality of coffee and do better on service, And croissants 🥐 was terrible I asked them to warming up on microwave and ended up burned and dry like paper towels. And for somehow the price is too high to what they offer.. not worth it to try this place. For my own experience I’ll not come back so I already flagged it as red flag 🚩
I used to come here a lot back in college, so this visit was really a letdown. Ordered the Hainan chicken and papaya salad—first chicken came out looking like scraps, redo took 15 minutes, and was so dry it was almost inedible. To make things worse, the rice for the chicken was undercooked. The papaya salad with black crab was painfully salty. Service was fine, but nothing memorable. Overall disappointment.
Charges a 10% additional fee for to go orders as if you’re dining inside and being served and if you get good service you tip. Seriously. You order your food and pick it up and they want a tip. Not happy with just charging their prices and moving on.
We saw and add in Facebook about this place how good the food is, well we try it, I don’t know who is writing good reviews for this place, the food was average at best, the food was greasy and mostly tasteless, we are never coming back here, try somewhere else you’ll be glad you did
My family and I used to frequent this place almost monthly from 12 years ago til about 5 years ago. We decided to give it another shot after being away for so many years. On August 4, we went for lunch and had a waitress who could barely speak English greet us and take our order, (which was incorrect when we asked for for pork Moo Yang, she gave us some ages old beef). Then she tried to up-sell us on some lunch set which we're not interested in. We ordered pad-see-ey, and 2 thai boat noodles, in which were terrible tasting. The last straw was when we got our bill which came with a 18% service charge. We had 3 adults and barely 2 childs. Asked the waitress is it customary to charge automatic service charge for barely a group of 5, she nodded her head and spoke gibberish. There is also no clear mention of this charge on any of the menus or elsewhere in the restaurant. A once fine establishment probably ran to ruins by new greedy management, I as well as my millions of followers will never set foot here again.
