The food is very delicious and the desserts is amazing!!! I extremely recommend!! Appetizer: Chicken Satay; Yum! Meals: "Seafood in Fresh Coconut", "Chu-Chee Salmon", and "Pad See Eiw". And for desserts: The Floating Lotus - for those with a sweet tooth!! Sweet Sticky Rice - Mango lovers!!! Sorry no pics on desserts, we couldn't stop eating after the 1st taste ^^
I go here often, as I work down the road! Tom Yum fried rice w/ chicken - spicy 3 is my order and YUM!! So good and always so much flavor. I get take out and it is always hot & fresh. Everyone is friendly and efficient!
Boyfriend and I frequent this place when we want take out! Always super good!! Anyone we’ve introduced to Fresh Thai has also love it. Our favorites are the spring rolls, chicken pad thai (we do no peanuts), and chicken pad woon sen. I usually go for the spice level 2, it’s a mild heat. My boyfriend gets level 3, it definitely packs the spice but is still bearable to him. It’s too spicy for me to eat more than a couple bites!
We were originally planning to go to a BBQ restaurant two doors down from Fresh Thai but they were closed so we gave them a shot. They did not disappoint in the slightest. Very delicious with big portions and very reasonably priced. If you like Thai food or Asian food in general I would definitely recommend this place. The atmosphere is very cozy and even the bathrooms were very clean and nice. They dessert was very delicious as well!
New menu since the last time we were in. This afternoon was the 3rd visit and we were pleasantly surprised that there was a new menu. As a parent, I'm thrilled that they expanded the kids menu! And I'm happy to say my Pad Woonsen tasted the same as before. We had the Fresh Tai Gold Bags for an appetizer, they were delicious! My husband had the Khao Moo Dang and although he expected fried rice, he still cleaned his plate. This was a nice quick meal!
Ate here twice, once dined in, and once too out some dinner. Due to the whole construction on 380 getting in and out is a little annoying but that’s not on the restaurant. Their service was prompt and polite, ambience was cozy, food was excellent👍 The basil fried rice, lemongrass chicken, vegetarian stir fry were all fresh, tasty and spicy. Would definitely recommend.
UPDATED!!! We went back! I feel like it was better than the first time and this time I remembered to take pictures!!! ORIGINAL REVIEW: People who know me would agree that I am a picture person...you know the one who annoyingly takes pictures before eating. But, unfortunately this is the ONE time I didn't and I regret it! THIS FOOD IS DELICIOUS! 😋 I don't think the pictures would speak enough anyway. And the staff... amazing! 😍 My Husband and I relocated from New York State and tried this place as it was right down the street. I AM SO GLAD WE DID! We are DEFINITELY going to be regular customers!!!
Delicious. Fried tofu app was crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and the sauce was good. Tom yum soup was a bit watery so don't really recommend that. The "lotus" dessert was delicious. Soft glutinous rice balls swimming in coconut milk with soft coconut shreds. Coworker said his Panang Curry was excellent
Oh My good Fresh Thai in Aubrey Texas is a hidden gym. The food is absolutely. one of my favorite Thai places in Dallas was Zena and it closed down for whatever reason but they had the most amazing Thai food I’ve ever eaten. But fresh Thai and Aubrey Man it is super delicious. Service was great. The restaurant was clean and if you live in Aubrey Little Elm and you haven’t had it you’re totally missing out.
Great little hidden gem. Very friendly staffs. Food was tasty and delicious. We order coconut seafood curry and tilapia with 3 sauces. Both were really good. Took a little bit because of the tilapia but I wasn’t in a hurry. There were construction next door so was not easier to get there. Just had to make an extra turn. Parking was good. Will be better when construction is done. Highly recommend this place.
The food was so well cooked. The most authentic Thai that I have ever came across. In all of my travels and states I have lived in, never have I had such delicious Tom Kah noodle soup! The flavor was explosive and I can't wait to go back and get some more! The crab fried rice was super yummy too. My husband had the Duck Curry with jasmine rice and orange chicken. My granddaughter had the kids pad thai. They were all excellent dishes. Hughly recommend this restaurant!
Service & Food was Great!! Highly recommend!! If you like Pho, this is your new favorite place!! The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was fabulous. They have Thai, Vietnamese and Lao food options. We had the Thai roll and Spring roll, Pho, Sticky Rice & Orange Chicken. Then we had fried ice cream and fried banana for dessert. Super yummy all of it! Their menu has many yummy options. I have been by this place several times but did not know it was there. I am excited to try the iced coffee …. But when we went it was in the evening and this type of super yummy iced coffee will have you energized for several hours. So I will go again to try that!! I also want to try their Pineapple fried rice! They also DoorDash too!
The food was really decent but not the best I’ve ever had. It’s budget friendly and the only things I have to say as feedback is the fried ice cream shouldn’t arrive fully melted and the broth is definitely on the lighter side and of pho broth. Thank you for the service and the food!
This Thai restaurant on 380 is decent, but nothing outstanding. I tried the tom kha noodle soup and the pad kee mao. The tom kha soup had a generous portion and was enjoyable, but the pad kee mao was just okay. I asked for it to be spicy, but the noodles lacked flavor and heat. Overall, an average experience.
Heard from someone the restaurant was good but was genuinely disappointed. The restaurant did not meet with the expectations that I had. We ordered Golden Tofu. It lacked any sort of seasoning. Tofu is famously bland, but this restaurant has found a way to make it blander. The only thing that helped was to put Sriracha and then dip it in the peanut sauce to eat it. The Panang Curry was just vegetables in color water. It looked incredible to look at, but it was so watery that we couldn’t even eat it with rice. There was no serving spoon for the curry, so we had to use the tiny spoon. It didn’t make sense to even eat as soup, as the vegetable pieces were too big. The rice quantity was as too little. The Pad Thai was the only dish that was okay. I asked for 3 spicy and got mild. But with Sriracha it was okay. But even the Pad Thai wasn’t a show stopper dish, it was just edible, and wasn’t plate licking good. The hostess was never there, no one to ask us how our meal was. After waiting for 10 minutes for water, we gave up, because obviously no one was going to come around to ask again. They could be very busy inside, but I wish they left a water jug outside for us so that we could at least serve ourselves. Even for the bill at the end, we had to wait at the counter for a few minutes before someone noticed us standing. Overall, if you have another option you should go there. Don’t think will visit again.
I ordered a fried rice with pineapple, and it was terrible—no flavor at all. It was supposed to have the following ingredients: an egg, tomatoes, pineapple, yellow & green onions, but it only had rice and a few pieces of chicken. The taste was awful, and it was cheap rice. I paid $15. Don't buy this rice, and I don't even want to imagine the rest of the menu. Terrible—don't waste your money like I did.
Me and my husband went to Fresh Thai, and I honestly wish we hadn’t. They charge prices comparable to a nice restaurant, but the food quality is absolutely nowhere near that level. The food was horrible. The rice was bland, hard, and completely flavorless. The Pad Thai noodles were super dry and only barely edible—and that was the best item we got. I ordered the sesame chicken and it tasted old, cold, and disgusting, like it had been reheated multiple times. How do you justify charging $32 for food this bad? It’s insulting. They serve cold, old, reheated, bland food and expect premium prices. Save your money and go literally anywhere else. I truly hope this helps others avoid wasting their money here.
Ordered food to go. They forgot my fried rice entirely. Drunken noodles are good but skip the beef, I had to spit pieces out. My spouse asked for no protein in his fried rice, got chicken. The crab won tons are good.
We are new to this area and this restaurant is less than a mile from my house. We ate in the restaurant once and that was good. This review is for the take out I just ordered on the way home from work. I ordered the green curry with seafood and white rice and Thai tea. I paid $25 and it came in a big soup container. I was very excited because I thought I was really getting a good deal for my money. The container was nothing but soup, bamboo shoots, carrots and red pepper. It had one shrimp, one muscle and maybe five small pieces of calamari. I was very disappointed. The picture below is after I had fished out all the veggies and the so-called seafood that’s in it and everything that’s left in that container is nothing but sauce. I asked for a medium spice and this was very very spicy. I could handle my spices, but I didn’t want it to be too spicy this time cause I wanted to enjoy my food. The flavor is probably really good from what I can taste just the way too spicy. The calamari was very tough and chewy and so was the one shrimp and one mussel.
