First off what an absolutely adorable cute aesthetic pleading cafe! I absolutely love bold colors and decorations and this place hits the spot. You can't miss it from the road with its bright pink building. As pink is my favorite color, I absolutely love the look of this coffee shop. My husband and I were looking for a place to hang that had free Wifi and this place totally hits the spot. We were impressed with the coffee drinks as usually super aesthetic places sometimes don't make the best coffee hoping how cute the cafe is will make you pay less attention to the drinks, but here we can tell care and quality are put into each drink. They also have the proper matcha making tools. They are also a bakery and we tried two items. The chocolate chip sour dough loaf was just what it says it is exactly is. It really is sourdough with chocolate chips! Not sweet at all. I also had the espresso blondie - I couldn't taste the espresso but the butterscotch flavor was strong. Parking is free and easy with a large lot attached
Such a nice spot. The interior is bright, beautiful, and really pleasant, the kind of place where you actually want to sit with a laptop and get things done. Calm but not boring. They have a great selection of matcha, and the matcha itself is really good, smooth and flavorful, not bitter. The menu is solid overall, with a small selection of pastries. Everything I tried was tasty, and I especially loved the sourdough options. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I’d come back to, whether to work for a bit or just enjoy a good drink.
Cute cafe! They have some less than usual flavors like rose and ginger. I got a rose latte with oat milk - it had a nice subtle hint of rose. Super friendly baristas. It was pretty empty when we went but the vibe and decor is nice, very bright and cheery.
I’ve been waiting for this coffee shop to open for months! And I finally got to try it today! First, the atmosphere is super nice and all the staff is super friendly. Lots of comfy seating areas inside and an outdoor patio. Most importantly, the coffee is good! I tried the Orange Macchiato Iced and it was really nice with real orange zest and the Ginger Molasses cookie was great paired with it. They bake everything in-house, except for the gluten-free options. I will definitely be back, and I’m super happy to support a new local business!
Such a cute spot! Lots of options for coffee & matcha. They have baked goods and even gelato (strawberry gelato & matcha affogato is in my near future)!! There’s indoor and outdoor seating. Everyone was welcoming and nice. This will be my new neighborhood coffee spot!
We were so excited to try this place after we saw them building it! The owner is so sweet and really cares about his customers. The staff is very accommodating and makes sure that you're satisfied and taken care of. The atmosphere is super cute and fun. The coffee is delicious and they have so many options. We ordered an iced Mocha and cold brew and both were good. We ordered 3 of their gelato flavors (strawberry, coffee, and Mexican vanilla). The Mexican vanilla was absolutely delicious as well as the strawberry. The coffee was good, but texture wasn't as smooth. They gave us a pumpkin loaf for free and it was tasty! With all of that, we had one suggestion we'd like to make. It would be nice to see a couple of simple options for some snacks/food besides sweets. Maybe some toasts or bagels to enjoy with our coffees. All in all, we will absolutely be going again and again and it was well worth the wait for it to open. ❤️
A little neighborhood gem in north-central Austin. The bright & cheerful decor is almost as nice as the friendly staff. Remarkable soundtrack, exceptional coffee & off-the-hook baklava (nice touch with the clove stud). Here’s a photo of the end result…great ‘til the last drop!
Bright, cheerful, welcoming coffee place with delicious baked goods. I loved campfire (s'mores) cookie and the peanut butter brownie. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are several tables and a shaded patio with a few more. They share a large free parking lot with several other adjacent businesses in the same strip.
The moment you walk in you know this place will be a nice experience. Tasteful espresso drinks, coffee beans, authentic Italian gelato, matcha drinks and pastries. Amazing good people, vibes and keen wall art. Loved it all.
Just stopped in to check out this new spot on Burnet. They've got craft coffee, tea, baked goods, and other goodies that I didn't try out this go round. The service was spectacular, the coffee was even better, and the PB and Choco chip cookies I got were both soft, chewy, and delicious. I highly recommend checking out Neon Belly, and I'll be heading back soon to try out more of their offerings. I got their pour over with the Ethiopian beans, and I cannot recommend it enough!
Stopped by Neon Belly Coffee on a Sunday afternoon. The decor is incredible - pop art with a Jui Jitsu fighting cat! The owners are super nice folks who put their heart and soul into the concept and it shows!
Neon Belly is already proving to be a great new addition to the neighborhood. Great coffee and tea, delicious baked goods, and super cute atmosphere. Everyone working is exceptionally kind, too! Love their tea selection for those over-caffeinated days; the campfire cookie and ginger molasses cookies were incredible.
My new favorite coffe shop in Austin. Smiley and nice staff, cozy atmosphere and soooo tasty homemade pastries (the chocolate scone was absolutely perfect). Will come back for sure!

Best new coffee shop in town! They have a great selection of drinks, baked goods, and gelato! Definitely drop in if you're looking for a fix. Owners are super friendly and welcoming.
went in today for an afternoon pick-me-up; i had a baklava latte with a blueberry scone and both were so delicious!! the espresso is very smooth - you can tell they care about the quality of their beans and their espresso pull! the scone was fluffy and fresh and had me looking forward to ever bite. cannot wait to come back to try more from their menu!
Been here a few times after they’ve opened. Super cute coffee shop! The mini sourdough loaves are so yummy, and the baklava latte is absolutely my favorite drink so far. I wish the pistachio flavor was a bit stronger, but that doesn’t make it any less delicious. The service is always good, the baristas are always so kind and welcoming as well as helpful! Love this place :)
My partner almost never finishes his drinks, but he finished the one he ordered from Neon Belly. I ordered a strawberry rose matcha and it was lovely. I appreciate how they have a balanced menu with both equal parts coffee and tea. The staff was very friendly despite how frazzled they looked likely due to how busy it was. I think the customer ahead of us was being a little difficult as well and left the poor employee feeling overwhelmed. Remember to be kind and patient with the workers! There's only a few of them and many of us. My only critique or complaint would be that the cookies I purchased did not taste fresh and were beginning to lose their moisture. They definitely tasted home made but they tasted like they'd been sitting in the case for a second day? I'd recommend maybe storing them in a slightly more air tight way or maybe package them individually. Otherwise, I can tell when fresh, they are delicious cookies. They weren't bad, mind you! Just reaching that stage of air sucking the moisture out of them and so they take on that dry, crumbly texture (they are perfect for dipping that point, though!). To inexperienced bakers reading, this does not mean the cookie has gone bad. Cookies have 3 day shelf lives generally before they go stale. And stale does not mean they are spoiled. It just means the moisture bas been sucked out of it.
Neon belly is so aesthetically pleasing and offers outdoor seating with umbrellas. The coffee was amazing, we ordered the baklava and horchata latte. The chocolate and cream cheese sourdough loaf wasn’t necessarily for us, but the quiche was great too! Definitely try them out:)
Great flavors to choose from for there lattes. Fresh and new ideas when it comes to the pastry’s. A shop owner who cares about the interaction with every guest that walks in the building. I honestly could not have had a better experience. This is worth the drive.
It is so great finally having a coffee shop in walking distance to where I live. We stop by multiple days a week when I’m out walking my dogs. They even give pup cups! All the staff are great, the owners are soooo nice and it’s a really cute space. The patio is nice too! I love their coffee. They make a delicious dirty chai latte 😍 My new fave coffee shop in Austin!

I absolutely love this place! My favorite cafe in the neighborhood to go study, read or hung out with friend. All their drinks and coffees are delicious! Bakhlava latte as teas are my favorites! Love the design, atmosphere and overall cleanliness of this place. The only area for improvement is sustainability. They mostly use disposable plates and cups, even if you dine in. Also, their to go containers are plastic. So, I took one star off for that. Real cups and plates are so much nicer to eat or drink from, plus so much better for the environment. Hopefully, it’ll change soon! 🙏🏻💗 Great spot overall, love it!
Stopped in for a pick me up and found Neon Belly. Cute but uncomfortable seating in a small area, but there’s outdoor picnic tables too. We had a hot latte and some cookies which were ok, and the servers were nice enough.

Loved the baklava latte and the mini sourdough is such a cute concept!! I got the pepperoni sourdough- good, I’ll try a different flavor next time though.
This place is still very new so it’s possible they are still getting the kinks out, but unfortunately their baklava latte tastes like drinking orange juice after you brush your teeth. Just not a good drink at all even though the premise sounds nice so I’m not sure where the disconnect is. Would really not recommend this drink. I also was never greeted when I came in. I had to say hi and ask how the cashier was doing which is not how that works. The other baristas acknowledged me as the cashier took my order and when my drink was ready, but the cashier truly said…idk maybe 10 total words to me asking my milk type and telling me the total. The inside was very cute and had a variety of seating options. They also have a small patio area with tables as well. I hope they figure things out because it seems like a nice place to work for a little bit or catch up with a friend. I will probably come back once they’ve been around longer to see if another drink is palatable and will update my review if I do.
Great Coffee from Eduardo, But Inconsistent Drinks and Long Waits (30Minutes)! I saw the sign for Neon Belly in my neighborhood and decided to give them a try this week. I was happy to hear they were offering a teacher discount for the month of March. The first time I visited, it was great. I ordered the Baklava Latte made by Eduardo and it was delicious. The next day I came back and ordered an iced Orange Macchiato (not made by Eduardo). Unfortunately, it was very difficult to drink. It seemed like there were too many dried orange peels in it. The following day, I returned and ordered two drinks: a Baklava Latte and a Horchata Latte (again not made by Eduardo). I gave the Baklava Latte to my coworker and she apologized but said it was so bad that she couldn’t drink it. She liked the Horchata Latte, so we switched drinks. When I tried the Baklava one, I also couldn’t finish it. I called Neon Belly and explained the situation. They were very apologetic and told me that if I came back they would remake the drink and asked me to bring the original latte so they could try it. I went back after work (after 5 PM). The owner tried the latte, remade my drink, and even gave me a free cookie, which I really appreciated. This morning I went back again. I waited about 5 minutes just to order two lattes. I ordered at 8:06 AM and Eduardo made one of my drinks right away, but I ended up waiting quite a while for the second one. I could see they were very busy with online orders and seemed overwhelmed trying to keep up. Poor Eduardo was doing his best. I didn’t receive my second latte until 8:36 AM, after asking how much longer it would take. I was told it would be another 2–5 minutes, but at that point I couldn’t wait any longer since I had to drop my child off at school and was already running late after waiting 30 minutes for a vanilla latte. When I finally tried the latte, it didn’t taste like vanilla; it seemed like a regular latte instead. Overall, the staff has always been very kind, and Eduardo makes a great coffee. However, the consistency and wait times during the week seem to be a challenge right now. I would suggest possibly pausing online orders during peak times so that in-person customers don’t have to wait 30 minutes for a latte. I’m giving this place 3 stars because the people are friendly and I know Eduardo can make a great drink. I may give them another try in a few months or stop by on the weekend when it’s less busy. For now, I’ll probably stick to my usual coffee spot. Thank you, Ani

I had placed an order for a double shot of espresso with coconut milk, lavender, and honey. However, I received a drink with regular milk in my coffee. Given my severe allergy to regular milk, this has unfortunately impacted my day. I had clearly articulated my order multiple times to the cashier. I am quite disappointed with this establishment, especially since I had heard many positive remarks about it.
