One of the best Peruvian restaurants I’ve ever tried in Austin Tx. The food was incredibly authentic and full of flavor. I especially loved the tostones , they were absolutely delicious. I truly enjoyed my experience and can’t wait to come back! 10/10
The food food was good!! And fast friendly service.took their rotisserie chicken with steak fries on the road for next meal in my truck Lomo a lo macho with jalapeño spicy 👹 Muy buena sabor tenia el lomo a lo macho
Great roasted chicken and side dishes, fried yuca, (mandioca), bananas fritas, black beans and rice. Staff is friendly and fast service. You can pre-order on line and pick up at the store for large family orders.
This was so good that I went twice in one week to fit more in before I went back to Arlington. Fairly priced, large portions. The sauces are the magic. The gentleman at the counter is patient and so helpful. I got the Peruvian fried rice with beef. Twice. Ha!
Really really tender chicken. Awesome flavor. The veggie sides take the cake too - Yucatán fries. Big thick cut French fries. The green beans! The Mac. The 5 salsas and sauces. Can’t recommend this food enough. Best roast rotisserie chicken and sides you might ever have! Been to Peru. This beats most of those meals. Incredible Legendary • The Chicken - especially legs • Yuka Fries • The Salsa Loved • The Green Beans • The Potato Fries ** • The Mac and Cheese **** * dirty Mac and cheese • The other sauces • Fried Plantain Liked • The Rice
Extremely fast service. The fastest I've had in my life. The chicken was great and cooked to perfection. Excellent customer service. Really impressed. The seating area was plenty. Clean and organized. Plenty of free parking spaces. The price was good.. my friend and I shared the chicken. Good protein after workout. The bread rolls were good. We got two sauces. The thicker one was better for dipping.
They were busy but the service was great! We ordered a gallon of the chicha morada because we are addicted! 😍 My boyfriend and I wished the gallon could have been topped off a bit more but no complaints it did not disappoint lol We ordered the Chicken Fried Rice and Fettucine Al Jugo it was delicious 🤤
Came here for the first time out of curiosity and was pleasantly surprised by the super tasty BBQ chicken and the assortment of delicious side dishes. The prices are very reasonable. Staff is friendly and efficient. The restaurant furnishing has seen better days though so did not offer the best dining experience. That said, the food was so good this place easily earns a 5 star.
The chicken is fantastic! We went with a whole chicken, black beans, cilantro rice and dirty mac and cheese with a mix of the mild and medium sauces. The owner is very nice and the staff was very attentive. The tres leches is homemade and fresh so is the cookie, both a must! It was very busy for a Sunday evening!
We got the family meal which includes one whole chicken and two large sides. The chicken was more than enough for two adults and two kids. The chicken had a hint of charcoal to it and was not overpowering. The spices were just right and tasted amazing. For the sides, we got macaroni & cheese which the kids enjoyed and the fire roasted corn was really flavorful. Will be coming back again!
First time trying this place and I was in shock that I haven't been here yet. It's discreetly tucked away off Wells Branch road. They even have drive-thru access which I used. I had to feed a family of five and we even had leftovers. The chicken was marvelous it was so pretty and perfectly cooked. This place is definitely for the families you get five whole large sides and two rotisserie whole chickens for a reasonable price and like I said leftovers were there. The plantains I had were the best they reminded me of whenever I had them in Houston. This place is definitely a place to try. They also had so many authentic Peruvian plates that I can't wait to try next time.
AMAZING Rotisserie chicken! The chicken is super flavorful and moist. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I ordered their quarter chicken with two sides and it was plenty to fill me up. For sides I ordered Yuka fries and Fried Plantains. I highly recommend them both. Although I think it’s a bit expensive, the taste of the food makes up for it.
Absolutely love this place! The food here is absolutely amazing — full of authentic Peruvian flavor and cooked to perfection every time. The environment is warm, welcoming, and perfect for families. I come here with my family all the time, and it never disappoints. Great service, delicious dishes, and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend!
My first time trying Peruvian food and I was mind-blown. Their rotisserie chicken is charcoal cooked to perfection and so, so tender. All the sides were amazing. The lady who greeted us asked us if it was our first time (we said yes) and then she gave us samples of every side. Hardest decision to make after that, but luckily they also have great combos! 5/5 highly recommend!! Can’t wait to go back.
Literally so amazing, best prices best service and FOOD IS RESTAURANT QUALITY.
Inka chicken is one of my favorite restaurants in Austin. I’ve been going since I used to work in the area back in 2017. I moved to the neighborhood in 2023 and I won’t lie, this was quite the selling point being so close to Inka. My favorite is the family meal with two sides. Always a crowd pleaser! It’s always welcoming and a feeling of being relaxed when you enter the establishment.
If you order online on their site, they do an excellent job honoring your preferences. Great family vibe and love that I have a place to get plantains when I’m craving it - even in pajamas (because they have a drive through!)
Folks , this place is a hidden gem . The food is authentic culture made with meticulous love and servings. The chicken is like no other rotisserie I have ever tasted, moist packed with a balance of flavor as this is not the first time I ate here . The menu grows with something for everyone as this is no fast food , quality home grown served for a family.
Chaufilomo, that’s all I have to say. By far and away my favorite place to eat in Austin area. Best Peruvian as well
Absolutely love your food and the ordering experience is so easy and seamless!
I am ashamed of myself for not trying this place sooner. I absolutely love this restaurant now. I can't wait to come back and try something else. Today I tried the "Chaufarroncito" and I am blown away. Jaw-dropping flavor and extremely generous portion sizes. I usually get the half chicken, which is equally breath taking. The level of spice is just right and it is always cooked to perfection. Kudos to these culinary geniuses!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
SO MUCH YES I was actually kinda sad when I saw the drive thru because I thought it was going to just be another El Pollo Rico. Aji sauce. Hook me up to an IV drip of that sauce. All day. Inka chicken- so moist. Flavorful. No fatty bits. Skin roasted to perfection. Mac n cheese - Velveeta type Mac n cheese is normally not my jam but this Mac n cheese was so much more than this. Plantains- had the fried crispy bits that you love. Not mushy. Chef’s kiss Lomo Saltado- this was like a beef bourguignon with a wine base. Loved it. Meat was tender and high quality. The menu is so diverse. It was so hard not to order 5 more distinctive items. I’ll def be back.
It’s very delicious cuisine with amazing customer service, very delicious dishes with delicious South American cuisine, definitely coming back, with my family and friends.. The cuisine is amazing with good amount of food with very affordable prices for sure I’m coming back with my good friends and tasty, good desserts as well ..
We came with a large group and everyone loved their food. I ordered the taco salad a la inka and my husband ordered the half chicken with plantains and beans and rice. We enjoyed both dishes and we love the ambiance because it has the Peruvian decor.
Ordered a large family meal and everything was tasty and ready for us on time. We loved all the sides and the chicken stole the show!
Passed by this lovely restaurant hundreds of times and, boy O boy, was I missing out! Inka Chicken's food is absolutely mouthwateringly delicious~ from the yummy drinks to charbroiled delights~ I am now a diehard fan and will be going back for s'more. Thank you, Inka Chicken!
Great food. Great service. Had the chicken sandwich and enjoyed every bite. Take your friends and family.
Jose was a big help and great for recommending some good dishes aince i couldn't make up my mind! Recommend coming here, great place for a family get together 🤙🏽 Thanks again Jose!
Delicious Peruvian food excellently executed. I had 1/4 dark meat chicken, cilantro rice, vegetarian black beans, and yucca fries served with all four sauces. Looking at the plate it is all brown and gray, but the flavor explosion in your mouth was mind blowingly delicious. The people working were clearly excited to share their food and passionate about answering any questions I had. It is a gluten-free (They said all except the mac and cheese and bread rolls.), scratch-made kitchen. The building doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that sway you. Wonderful experience!
The food here is really fresh and with tons of good flavors. The chicken is absolutely delicious. I got the intake bowl and a cup of chicken soup since I've tried different things throughout the time. You're never disappointed. It is a little pricier, and sometimes the wait is longer than expected, but the food's worth it.
All around always a great experience. The food is delicious and authentic. It’s hard to find yuca fries that are well executed, but look no further because they have it. Not to mention how incredible the chicken is. Fall off the bone, delicious!!! Can’t get enough.
Food was fantastic. Ordered the whole chicken along with two sides for two people, and it was significantly more than we could eat. When they say two to four people I would say it's at least three to four. Staff was super attentive and asked us multiple times how everything was going.
There its nothing average about Inka Chicken and I've never been disappointed here. As far as I know, it's the only Peruvian I had the Chicken Sandwich & Steak Fries. Best chicken sandwich ever because they use freshly pulled, charcoal- fired rotisserie chicken, not a patty. Rob had the quarter-chicken with black beans, cilantro rice & hominy salad. ALL were so flavorful! Though full, we had the Chocolate Chipotle Torte for dessert. Sorry, no picture of that...I gobbled it before I could remember. Very tasty & not too sweet. The mild hotness of the light brown chipotle cream perfectly complimented the torte's sweetness. Great news is they cater. Bad news is there is only one location. And not surprising they had a good crowd on a late Saturday morning. I can't wait to go back!
I have diabetes, and Austin I feel embarrassed when I go to a Place asking to have so many changes made to dishes in order to meet my dietary requirements. No potatoes, bread, rice… so when I asked for a customized lomo sandwich without the bread and a side salad instead of fries, I didn’t know what to expect. The staff at Inka chicken knocked it out of the park. The presentation was amazing and it was delicious, plus instead of the fries they made this beautiful side salad with a low carb dressing. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Thank you.
I fell in love with Peruvian food when I went to Peru, which is why I wanted to try Inka Chicken. I’ve probably gone here around 5 times now. For me it’s the best Peruvian restaurant in Austin, which is strange to say because this place is the equivalent of a fast food place but with Peruvian food. The other Peruvian restaurant in Austin (Lima Criolla) was a massive let down. None of the dishes, drinks or desserts tasted anything like I had in Peru. Then “Chicha Morada” drink is pretty close to the one I had in Peru. The chicken and both the sauces you get here is absolutely delicious. I really enjoy all of their sides here. I usually get the plantains and macaroni cheese but sometimes I will get Yucca Fries here instead of the plantains. I’d give Inka Chicken a 9/10. Strong recommendation!
We do carry out or delivery from Inka often and it never disappoints. The whole family (including picky kids) love it and it's great for feeding a group. Consistently delicious every time - highly recommend!
Really yummy food. I'm almost looking forward to my next head cold bc it will give me a good reason to eat gallons of aguadito. 😋
Inka is always a solid and fulfilling eatery. The chicken is flavorful and the sides remind me of my in-laws Nicaraguan dishes. Sauces are great and the service is pleasant.
Charcoal grilled rotisserie is a must try with different types of sauces. It’s a drive thru restaurant. Serves very good Peruvian food. Will definitely visit here again. The ordering might take a while because some may take time ordering food from their vast menu. Friendly staff, would want to try their Inca golden cola next time. Must visit place if you want something apart from Tacos, bbq ribs and tex-mex.
Delicious!! Drove by so many times and judged it, haha but came in today and the food was absolutely delicious! The fresh juice drinks are authentic, and the food was so fresh! Will definitely be returning!
Food was delicious. They forgot my tortillas. And they are always behind. Just estimate 10 more minutes for pick up.
So good!! They let you choose white or dark meat and the spicy salsa was by far my favorite as the others were mayo based. All the sides I tried were very delicious. I was also happy since the fried plantains I got were slightly naturally sweet which is my favorite way to eat them. The menu picture is NOT the entire menu; they have much more than just this! The staff were also very helpful and friendly! 11/10 gonna go again
Absolutely phenomenal. Chicken cooked rotisserie on charcoal, the atmosphere is calm and perfect for families, and the service is friendly and accommodating. I ordered to go once and was 10m late past closing time but they still delivered with a smile. I am not from Austin but make it a point to visit this place every time I am in town!
Very delicious!! Eat here often and I am never disappointed. The chicken is outstanding 😋 I said $10-20 per person but there are things either under or over that price. The chicken with one side is under $10, there's chef specialties over $20.. the people are very nice. During COVID lockdown, they had a lot of clever ways of dealing with it so they're on the ball.
Don’t let the drive through fool you. This restaurant is a hidden gem. The half chicken I ordered was well seasoned and moist. This can only be achieved by the chef knowing what they are doing. Attention to detail was key. The service was friendly and helpful. As this was my first time, I was unfamiliar with the menu. The gentleman taking the order was patient and friendly. Overall, give this place a try, you will not regret it.
A beautiful atmosphere, the food was delicious and the service was amazing. Zero complaints and if you want to feel like you’re in Peru, come eat at Inka Chicken. You will not be disappointed
Ordered from this place on DoorDash because someone recommended it. The food did not disappoint! I ordered 2 of the 4 person family meals and it was enough to feed 8 people at my office. The employees asked if we could order from here again bc the food is 10/10. They were fighting over the plantains! Haha I can’t wait to eat from here again
Someone told me about this place so I just made an order. The chicken was very good and very fresh!! I also ordered two empinada were a great size and very good. The only unfortunate thing was I ordered the pineapple drink with the purple corn to try that. I was really looking forward to it and either they forgot or the driver gave it to someone else. Luckily its not over priced I found there prices very reasonable so id still order again!!
I’m borderline kind of obsessed about the Mac n cheese. The chicken is out of this world ( juicy, flavorful) oh and please don’t get me started on the beef stir fry….. It’s been a long time since I had some good mouth watering food and Inka Chicken delivered!
I was genuinely surprised to find Inka Chicken in Pflugerville while traveling to Austin, it was close to my hotel and ended up being a great discovery. I ordered the ceviche, and it was fresh, flavorful, and nicely spicy. My wife had the fettuccine a la huancaína with lomo saltado and absolutely loved it. If you’re in the area and craving Peruvian food (or just want something different from the usual), this spot is definitely worth a visit.
We were looking for something new to try, and that delivered. First, we got our order it was really quick it was steaming hot and it was the Best....... the food is excellent, very flavorful it was like home cooking, I can't say enough and highly recommend. The pricing is great and servings are more than enough
Insanely delicious! The juicy chicken is flavored like I've never had! Yucca fries and homemade tortillas! The prices were so reasonable! I'll be back regularly
Honestly best Peruvian food I’ve had - ever. The lomo salteado was super flavorful. I was pleasantly surprised they also included yuca chips with it. The ceviche was very fresh as well. It came with all the fixings. The price was also very affordable and the staff was very friendly. They even gave my friends samples because they were unfamiliar with most of the food.
Came with my mom and we ordered the Chaufa de Mariscos and Fettuccine con Lomo al Jugo — both were delicious and tasted divine! We also got the guava and tutti frutti drinks, which were super refreshing and perfect for the hot weather. Everything was beautifully prepared and so yummy. We’ll definitely be back!
Food was very delicious. All fresh ingredients both the chicken and vegetables. The sauces were very tasty. We had the 1/4 Chicken and the Chicken Salad, the portion size was more than enough for each of us. The restaurant was very clean and decorated beautifully. Deffently a 5 star experience my only regret is that it is located in Austin and not Houston. I know it would be a big hit in 'H' Town.

The food is beyond 5-Stars! Portion size (a plate) can be shared with your friend or spouse. The service is warm, friendly. The vibe (ambiance) is lively! Overall, a great choice to spend your time…

The food was very good! It tasted fresh made, like grandmas kitchen! Cannot wait to go back and try a few different things on the menu

Love the chicken here so much, it’s very tasty and the sauces are delicious. The staff are very nice and friendly. We have been eating here for decade. My only concern is the color on the dishes seems to flake off, I’m afraid that every time I ate, I also ate the plastic/ chemical that peeled off. Please please please change the plates to be better quality
My chicken sandwich was different in a good way, despite the small bone I almost chewed on. It looked good and tasted good. My only grip is the prices vs. the meal. Those fries were like Bill Miller fries, and they stunk up my work truck 😆 I had to ride with the windows down after I deposed of the evidence. if you seasoned them or prepared them something other than being just plain with a side of ketchup, I would've been down. But they were plain w ketchup. So, for a chicken sandwich, fries and a drink for $16 was a little much. I didn't complain there, but I was gripping. My favorite part of this experience, though, was that, being my first visit here, I had no idea how to pronounce anything. That's why I ended up just ordering a chicken sandwich. The drive-thru employee asked me to come to the window to complete or rather take my order. So I rushed up and waited while he took an order from the person behind me. But I patiently waited cause the traffic around there was crazy and I wanted something new and different and not Sonic. Anyways I was in town for work from San Antonio. Thanx for the food, it was funny and interesting. P.s. shout out to the cook!
I'll be up front and say that I'm not into chicken dishes, but I was craving something healthier and gave this place a try since it's down the road from our home. I was stoked to hear that all their side dishes are gluten free, even the mac and cheese, which is really good! And I love that all the items on the menu are labeled as being gluten free (GF) or not. The yuquitas rellanas (also GF) were kind of like fried mashed potato balls and was our favorite dish. The portions were good sizes and the food wasn't overly salty like other restaurants (both pluses in my book). It seemed that the flavors primarily come from the side sauces. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of side sauces. In hindsight, I should have bought the sauce sampler so that we could figure out which ones we liked and would have enough for all the food. But not really understanding that, we just pushed through the meal wanting a bit more flavor. Don't let the drive through window fool you...it takes a while to get the food (which is absolutely fine, especially because it came out fresh and hot). Pay at the register, take a number and a seat (if dining in). There were plenty of seats but not a lot of people dining in. The decor is simple but neat.
This was my first time trying this place and I liked it for the most part. The chicken was so juicy, delicious, and well seasoned. I can’t remember what the green sauce was, but it was very fresh and tasty with a little kick of heat. I also liked the chicken empanadas and the crispy breading on them. I was not a big fan of the black beans, rice, or beef empanadas; They were all a little too herbaceous for me. I must add that the food was plated beautifully. Overall 8/10.
At least the food was good no complaints there Great tasting food. You have to ..ok oye any place that makes fried bananas - plantains. Delicous. Only gave 4 stars becaue price was more than expected when you add 2 sides. Around 12.97 for 1/ 4 pieces chicken, plantains, white rice and small drink? At least the food was good. No complaints there. Just prepared prepared to spend a little more. The place was nice clean and original.
I love their 1/4 chicken with a side of white rice and fried yuca and their chicken soup !! I wish they would give more rice with the meal but other than that it's a very good place to eat at
Inka Chicken is a great place to eat. It's based on Peruvian cuisine. The chicken is tender and delicious and there are a variety of different sides to try. I had the black beans and plantains, and my coworker from Venezuela pronounced the plantains authentic. There are a variety of different sauces to try, with different levels of spice. I'll be visiting again!
Food is good. Decent portion sizes. Taste is good but not excellent. The sauces I ordered tasted good. Surprised that the spicy sauce (green) was not that much spicier than their mild sauce. Good enough that will eat here again if I am on my own and in a rush, but not really somewhere would bring a group of friends too.

We visiting for the first time here Thursday-24-2024 at 5:00pm the guy in the front was so rude unprofessional he don’t say anything about the food he doesn’t say hi welcome that’s BS but the food was ok but Not great visiting from other state I do not understand why this kind the employee is in FOH why???? Why???? What a bad experience
First time back in over five years here. Their menu has expanded and didn’t expect that I’d actually enjoy their Quinoa Bowl. Service was extremely long. Waited longer than half hour for our food and it’s not acceptable for a food chain that’s considered as fast food. Lomo Saltado was not authentic (pretty disappointing) but I’ll be back for that Quinoa Bowl. 😃
The food is not bad, not GREAT but not bad either. The service is professional and fast. The price however, is wayyy too expensive especially for the small amount given.
Presentation, timeliness and cleanliness are equally important to me as the flavor, quality and quantity of food. This was my first time at Inka Chicken and my first time tasting a Peruvian dish. I really enjoyed the yuca fries and quinoa stuffed avocado. However, I wasn't a fan of the following: dirtiness inside the restaurant, long wait (even though I ordered ahead), staff reaching over the food, no top for the fries and most importantly prepping the remaing food in front of another customer. Thankfully the customer had her mask on as she ordered, while my food was sitting there. But still, that's not appropriate. There should be some type of covering or better yet more counter/prep space for the cooks. The food was good but I wont be returning.
Inka Chicken is a good spot for a meal, and I really enjoyed the cooking style. However, the chicken I received was quite greasy. My main concern was the hygiene of the store, specifically the bathrooms, which could use more attention. Everything else was great, but improving the cleanliness would make the experience much better
I heard so much about the chicken that I had to go for it. My asian palatte didn't quite understand the hype behind the Rotisserie Chicken, as I found it be as good as one I get from my local Central market store. Decent stuff but pricey for what it is. Got the yuka fries and house salad for a complete meal. The dressing was nice and had a fruity spunk that's nice and refreshing. The yuka fries were nice too.
I got chicken with white rice and vegetable medley. Rice was a bit hard and vegetables tasted like burnt charcoal. Cashier was really nice. The lady who delivered my food was rude.
Inka Chicken used to be good… The manager asked me how my food was, the 1/4 chicken meal, and I said “It was good! But honestly, the piece we got was half bone.” (They served us the rib cage with barely any meat on it and every bite had a bone, my sister swallowed one…) And she would just not take criticism. She responded, “Actually 🤓 we only use ‘organic halal chicken’ and naturally the dark pieces of meat are mostly bone.” (I’m thinking, it wasn’t like this last time?) I responded, “Well, wouldn’t you take that into consideration and serve your guests a fair portion for the price?” She then snapped back and said, “In Perú, this is how it’s traditionally served.” (I’m Peruvian btw, and Inka Chicken is far from tradition, with literally burritos and tortillas on the menú?? and the rocoto sauce tastes my ketchup and mayo. which is fine but don’t make false claims) I said back to her, “Well, I’m actually Peruvian and this is not how it’s served.” She snapped again and said, “Actually it is.” I then understood she didn’t genuinely care about anything I had to say nor wanted to make it right. Disappointed, I ended the conversation with, “Well, maybe just consider your servings next time so that customers can get a fair amount for their money. Bye.” Safe to say, this will be my last visit. RIP Inka Chicken

The first time I tried the resturant I got chicken with really good seasoning. The second time I come today and ordered a side of mash potato i find A HAIR 🤢 inside... They need to work on cleaning, and follow clean food procedure making, because whether the chicken is good or not this is disgusting.
Placed online order for pickup for my family. Decided to go through drive thru to pick it up as I'm currently having some medical issues and drive thru line was empty. Let the guy on call box know I was there for pickup and told pull up to window. After 6mins of sitting at window with no acknowledgement I decided to wave at the workers in case they forgot about my order. Each one looked at me and went back to working w/o coming to the window. I thought maybe the food wasn't ready so I waited 5mins more. Still no acknowledgement so I blew the horn. Workers looked at me and continued working. I waited a couple mins more and waved at a lady passing she turned to a guy who had been there the entire time watching me sit at the window. He comes to the window, I ask if they forgot about telling me to pull around, to which he says oh I don't know the kitchen doesn't talk to us idk who told you to pull around, and hands me my food that had been sitting getting cold for 12mins. My food was $40 plus I tipped. Horrible way to treat a customer. Won't be returning. Won't be recommending.
