I like Tso but just placed an order today and found out they are now using third party drivers. I liked to order from here because they had their own drivers in the past. I avoid things like uber eats and door dash because they usually don’t vet their drivers well what so ever. Pretty disappointing.

I ordered this for lunch via delivery and went with the Broccoli Chicken – General Tso–style plate over steamed rice, which came with one crab rangoon and sweet chili sauce. Overall, it was good. The crab rangoon was the standout—crispy, flavorful, and easily my favorite part of the meal. The chicken and broccoli were cooked well, and the portion size was solid for lunch. I did ask for spicy, but the dish was milder than expected. The flavor was there; it just didn’t quite bring the heat I was hoping for. This was a delivery order, so I didn’t have the opportunity to check out the ambiance, and it appears to be takeout and delivery only anyway. The food arrived without issue. I’d still be open to ordering again and trying some of the other dishes on the menu next time. Sometimes it takes a couple of visits to find the dish that really hits.

Took nearly two hours to receive and driver dropped inside building at main entrance when I’d been standing outside the entire time waiting. I was calling and she wasn’t answering. When I found her as she was leaving, she did go back to get my food and handed it to me but she was on a personal call the entire time. The food was not good; I got General Tso chicken and it tasted gritty and old. Never again.

Delivery took 50 minutes from the time it left the store and 1:45 from the time I ordered. The driver told me he had to go get gas before delivering my food. I could never order from them on a schedule with a delivery window as large as theirs has become. Luckily, the food was good!

Their delivery is extremely slow. Over two hours. Even if it’s a busy night that’s too long. When we offered to just go ahead and pick it up they ignored that request. So it ended up taking an extra 40 minutes. It’s gone way downhill since they started outsourcing delivery drivers. Why would you cook the meal and then let it sit while you find a driver when your faq says you don’t start cooking till you’ve found one? Food ended up soggy because of it. Probably won’t order again.

We decided to give Tsos another try after the last meal being significantly less portion than in the past. It seems that it’s not just a one off because we were extremely disappointed to see the portions have shrunk permanently. They use to give reasonable portions, definitely enough for left overs the next day. I felt like I couldn’t eat more than 4-5 pieces just to have for some lunch the next day. I’m so so disappointed, we use to order all the time the portions weren’t crazy but generous now it’s just giving greedy.

Food lousy, but staff very nice. Sesame chicken: meat ok but completely overwhelmed by weird chemical tasting sauce. Side egg noodles - just plain bad. The taste reminded me of those first few dull throbs when a sick headache is coming on. Or having a close conversation with someone with really bad breath. Like, I'm positive im gonna have a migraine tonight from the lab-crafted sauce. I know many think Chinese fast food might be a tall order... but when you think about it, is it REALLY? I'm just imagining the cooks pumping out different flavors of sauce from industrial-sized containers. "Hey, Jimmy - order up! - Gimme 2 brown, 4 orange, and throw in a side order of yellow with a half pump of red." And it was $20!!!!!! I'm just gonna say it: I think Panda Express is the world's BEST Chinese food ... ever! Give the people what they want OH- but the rice was pretty good.

The 2 tofu dishes had absolutely NO flavor. That includes the sweet & sour tofu dish, which a beginner Chef could make flavorful . The egg flower soup & the pot stickers were below average. The pot stickers were sitting on a paper towel full of grease. Please pass this information on to your Chef for future improvement. This critick is for knowledge. I ordered black pepper steak and bearly have any stake in it was more vegetables then anything

I should have read the reviews before ordering. Worse Chinese takeout I’ve ever had. Had sesame chicken with broccoli and fried rice. Not sure how broccoli could be chewy but it was so chewy it was inedible. Flavor profile was so mild you barely tasted it. Would not be buying from here again.

Over the past two years this restaurant has gotten progressively worse. They now use Favor for their deliveries, a realization that was brought home to me by the fact that tonight's order was not only delivered 40 minutes after it began an 8 minute journey to my house, but was also delivered by a driver who speaks no English, is unable to answer texts or phone messages, and is a person that I have had trouble with in the past when he was making deliveries for HEB. Even though this driver has been to my house previously, he still did not know how to get here even with clearly written directions. Not only did my food arrive lukewarm but it was also poorly prepared and did not taste as good as the same order has tasted in the past. I believe the quality of this restaurant's food has so seriously deteriorated that I will no longer order meals from them! Also note that when they ask you to give a review they they say to do so if you like their food and service, implying please do not give a review if you don't like their food and service. Basically they are trying to suppress or discourage unfavorable reviews.

Third and last time ordering. I specifically mentioned you guys “had forgotten the avocado” on my previous order. I also mentioned I am a repeat client and asked for a proper portion, as it weirdly fluctuates how much food is served. Guess what? Food portion was never smaller. No egg on the rice? And… You forgot the avocado again. Did the cook / manager even bother to read the message I specifically wrote when ordering? After 10 minutes on hold waiting, I was offered $3 discount on my next order. Wow, incredible. You guys don’t care that much about your food and clients — and it shows.

Delivery is never within estimated timeframe. I’ve been ordered from Tso’s for years but unfortunately I can’t wait an hour and a half to get fried rice. Likely my last order. Do better Tso’s or you’ll go out of business.

DELIVERED BY UBER EATS AT 3:30PM. THE FOOD WAS OLD, COLD, AND TOUGH. THE GENERAL TSO CHICKEN HAS BEEN SITTING IN A STEAMER TRAY FOR HOURS. TOUGH AS LEATHER. INEDIBLE. THE RICE WAS DRY, SHRIVELED GRAVEL. THE VEGETABLE SPRING ROLLS WERE VEGETABLE PASTE, WITH NO IDENTIFIABLE VEGETABLE. PROBABLY MY FAULT FOR ORDERING 2 HOURS AFTER THE LUNCH RUSH, AND 3 HOURS BEFORE DINNER; IT GAVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO OFFLOAD FOOD TO A DELIVERY SERVICE, THAT THEY COULD NEVER SERVE IN THE RESTAURANT; IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SENT BACK. THEY'RE SAVING ON FOOD COST BY USING FOOD THAT SHOULD BE DISCARDED, FILLING DELIVERY ORDERS. WILL NEVER SPEND $40 TO ORDER FROM THEIR TRASH BIN AGAIN.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. Our entrée was missing from our order, which we didn’t realize until we got home. I immediately called and asked if delivery was possible, but since we were outside their zone, I offered to drive back so they could remake it. I also asked for a refund due to the inconvenience, which was refused. When we arrived about 15 minutes later, the employee I had just spoken with acted as though he didn’t remember our conversation. After showing him our receipt and pointing out the missing (non-highlighted) item, he accused me of trying to “set him up.” He then attempted to rush my husband and me out the door and said he no longer wanted to remake the food or issue a refund. Instead of acknowledging their mistake or apologizing, the situation escalated into an argument, and we had to be persistent just to receive a refund. In the end, we still left without our full order. This was a complete waste of time and extremely frustrating. We used to be regular customers, but after this experience, we won’t be returning.

Tso used to be my absolute go to in Austin for Delivery Chinese. No tipping policy, quick and amazingly good food. In the past few months it’s gone completely down hill. Little to no sauce on dishes. I’m talking General Tsos and you get fried chicken with no sauce on it at all. Mongolian beef with the most watered down sauce you’ve ever seen. So disappointing. You’re better than this, I’ve seen it. But this is my last time ordering from yall.

Have to drive up because their phone says that they’re closed, they aren’t. Tried twice. Drive 13 miles up there, get there try to remove the onions from the meals, this isn’t a joke. Manager comes up and tells me after I tell him I’d like to remove the onions. “We don’t allow substitutions”, clearly doesn’t understand the definition of substitution. A substitution is when I take onions and ask for an alternate item in its place. They make these dishes “to order”. Meaning they can simply not take the extra step of adding onions. Manager even cited policy specifically mentioning the explicit word “substitution” repeatedly SMH. Hire people who understand English basics please.

It was our first time ordering the food from this place. The fried rice had no flavor, the general tso’s chicken was overcooked to the point that it was hard and had no flavor. The fortune cookies were torn and burnt….i could even see my fortune already. The only thing that was actually good was vegetarian potstickers. Overall bad experience. Will never order from them again.

I NEVER leave reviews on restraunts, but my experience at Tso's was beyond disappointing. From the moment we walked in, they refused to accommodate a simple request for chicken fried rice without vegetables. Despite their claim of being open for another hour, the cleanliness of the place suggested otherwise.The food itself was a disaster. I ordered something that seemed tolerable, but to my horror, I found a piece of metal scrub in my meal. Not only was it a health hazard, but it completely ruined any appetite I had left. To top it off, the food lacked any discernible flavor—it was downright disgusting. They try masking it with "spice" but it's downright nasty. This level of negligence and disregard for customer satisfaction is simply unacceptable. I strongly advise against dining at Tso's until they address these glaring issues. Insane experience.
