Just visited the new Gong Cha at 1414 Sheepshead Bay Road and it’s already my new go-to spot! The store is clean, modern, and welcoming. I ordered the Strawberry Matcha with almond milk and pearls (pictured) — and it was absolutely delicious. The layers of fresh strawberry, creamy almond milk, chewy pearls, and smooth matcha on top blended perfectly. The staff were friendly, quick, and made sure everything came out just right. You can really taste the freshness and quality in their drinks. It’s such a nice addition to the neighborhood, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend this location if you’re in Sheepshead Bay!

I’ve been coming to Gong Cha for a long time. It’s basically my regular spot — I come here all the time for drinks, so I decided to finally try something new and ordered their soups for the first time. Big mistake. I got the Tom Yum and the Truffle Mushroom soup, and honestly… they were terrible. The flavor was absolutely awful — bland, weird, and just straight up disgusting. It tasted nothing like real Tom Yum, and the truffle soup was so bad I couldn’t even finish it. No balance, no depth, no comfort — just a complete mess. I’m really disappointed because I expected way better from a place I usually trust. Drinks are fine, but the food? Never again. Save your money and stick to the tea — or eat literally anywhere else. ⭐️⭐️☆☆☆ (only because the drinks used to be decent)
On two occasions I have gone early to order, the sign says that it opens at 10 in the morning, I arrive at 10 and it is closed I waited 10 minutes, and he told me that the bubble tea was going to take time
