Nice people, good food, and a great value. I got their 3 hot dog combo and it was around $10. Beef hot dogs were great and the fries were some of the best I've ever had. Others have said the area looks a little rough but it's really not that bad. I felt safe. We used to go to Kermit's on Waughtown because it's closer but Kermit's is never open anymore so this is our new hot dog spot.

Don't let the name fool you, Hot Dog City is more than just a place to get a foot-long all the way. It's a great place to visit if you're a vegetarian too. The decor is retro and the only dining available is alfresco. However, the food is fantastic, and the staff are very friendly, providing excellent service. They will bring your food right out to you while you wait in your car. I recommend giving them a try.

This place has become my Favorite place to get a great hot dog. The onions rings are also very good. I have loved everything I've had here. I have not eaten here, I usually do DoorDash and it always come delicious and hot!

Absolutely phenomenal, from the welcoming service right when you walk in to the amazing food. It felt as comfortable as walking in my own kitchen. The tuna hoagie and chicken super Philly are one of the best items on the menu.

Hot Dog City is incredible. The Reuben is one of the best that I've ever had, and, of course, the hot dogs are the best, too. The restaurant itself is not a 5-star building, but the food is definitely what will draw you in the first time and keep you coming back. I will definitely be back.

I've been coming to this place for years. They have so many things on the menu, I have yet to even scratch the surface of trying all they have to offer. I got a Bacon Burger this time, I will mention the bacon was Canadian Ham. The burger itself was great but I'm not a fan of ham on a burger. Onion rings were hot and fresh! The ranch is lacking, I'm a lover of " restaurant ranch" and that ain't it..still good but it's not *that* ranch. My hubs got a Jalapeño chili cheese footlong hot dog. It was perfection, the weenie itself was so good! The mistake was made when my hubby ordered the Philly Cheese Steak fries. He got the small and we BOTH couldn't finish them. The meat was perfectly seasoned, if this is what their Philly Sandwich has on it...I can't wait to try it!!! I have to note that our mistake in buying the fries was the long wait in cooking them. (Well worth the wait! But we were crunched for time) They have several notices reminding you to be patient,they aren't fast food. So I can't blame them a bit,I'm not upset..I just wish I had known it would take longer to make that particular item. Maybe in the future they could say, "Hey, this item will take 25 minutes to prepare." And then I could decide if I could wait. Again, do not let this deter you from going!!! Just make sure you have time and patience. Great things come to those who wait and this place is a prime example of that!!

**update** Best Reuben in town! The fries were the bomb as well. I am going to become a regular! Do call ahead for faster wait time. First time here for lunch and my meal was amazing! I had the spinach salad with chicken, mushrooms, onions and teriyaki sauce. This was divine and I highly recommend!! I will be going back to check out more options.

I love Hot Dog City, Most of them know me by my name, which I love! Even if I call, all I have to say is the one thing I order ALL the time, something that isn't really on the menu, it's on there but I get it made without the one ingredient that's in the menu item name. But yeah, the food is made to order so you may have to wait, I don't mind. They have vegetarians hot dogs, burgers, and chili. The fries may look like a lot of seasoning salt is on it but it's not salty at all. Hot Dog City is on the corner of Patterson and Glenn, right at the light. Parking isn't the best but it works. They do deliver, no more than 10-15mins out for a delivery fee. They do accept tips inside, they are awesome, leave a tip.

They have really good food and they'll bring it out to your car which is nice but the most recent time I was here, they charged my card twice, would give 5 stars if not for that.

Kinda in a sketchy place. Wish more selection for hot dogs, the menu is kinda all over the place. But it tasted good overall. Wait time is kind of ridiculous.

I ordered delivery. The chili fries could have been better. I'm not a fan of canned chili, too much sodium. Besides that I really like this place .Just wish they'd make there own chili

This was my first time here & I’m disappointed. I got a Philly cheesesteak & fries. For the fries, I could tell the grease was a little old.. considering I came later in the evening I won’t hold that against them but, my Philly cheesesteak was terrible. My bun was soaked, normally that would be a good thing but, No. I simply had too much meat, it fell apart & nonetheless the flavor wasn’t amusing. I’m not sure if I ordered the wrong thing but yea, it was a NO for me. I would love to come back & try again someday.

I Waited 45 mins for 1hot dog and 2sandwiches!!!!!!! when I stated I need to get a refund for my food because I needed to go to work I was given attitude which is precisely why I dont support "HOOD" establishments anymore!!!! buy the way We got 3 drinks and were charged $10
